Kind of overrated. Anywho views are also great of the Gherkin and high rise building of Central London. The DJ was fantastic!!! We went on a saturday. (DJ Brandon) Only food available are nuts or olives, considering it’s ontop of a hotel you’d think there would be more substantial bar snacks or food available. Drinks are average price for location, however there definitely was near to no alcohol in them. At around £17-20 for a cocktail, you’d think after 3 you’d be slightly tipsy considering you’ve not eaten for six hours apart from nuts after the second round…. Was definitely something to think about. Definitely couldn’t taste any alcohol either. Vibes are great and service is friendly. Even got to make my third Yuzurita behind the bar and added a shot more into the drink yet still nothing affected me or couldn’t taste it. Drinks look more fun on the menu than in real life, on menu there’s multiple garnishes and fruit and the drink looks very exciting, real like there’s 1 or two garnishes so definitely looks visually less fun this added to the disappointment as the drinks were lacking Alcohol (I am a bartender myself.) Our intention wasn’t to get drunk, but we realised the drinks weren’t affecting us. However, all the staff are very friendly and fun it definitely adds to the atmosphere. I would go back but possibly drink wine or something other than cocktails if I want to get tipsy or drunk. All in all fun and great views and vibes with weak pricey cocktails

We spent a Sunday afternoon here and had a wonderful time. We were booked onto a cocktail masterclass which was run by Harry. He went out of his way to make us comfortable although he was busy with other things at the same time. Cocktails aren’t cheap here so to have 6 cocktails between us was good value to book the class. He got us involved and we made every drink ourselves. Chris the bar manager was so friendly. Actually all the staff were outstanding. Really went above and beyond and always being asked how we are enjoying ourselves and made us really feel valued as guests. We will definitely come back again for a drink with amazing views over the city. You’re looking around £18-£20 for a cocktail. Beer was £9 but excellent quality and frozen glass. Chris signed a copy of his amazing book for us which we purchased. Make sure you get a copy here. It’s comprehensive and you can tell how much work went into producing this.

Amazing venue with amazing views of the city. Excellent and friendly staff members! I asked our server for a cocktail recommendation, and it did not disappoint! There was a live DJ too, which was super cool.

Very busy place you can’t sit or dance. Managed to take a picture and video smd gone. We had reservation but we could not stay there. We went to sushi samba instead. The only think is the good view

Great place, crazy view. Think the organisation needs tightening up a bit. Wasn't really quite sure if it was table service or not. Eventually got up and went to the bar ourselves. Cocktails were good and the music was quite chilled.

Don’t come if you don’t want to ruin your day. Booked a table for 4 for my 25th birthday. Heard good review from people and positive feedback on TikTok. Was running a little bit late and called the place. They said they would only allow for 15 minute lateness. Fair enough. Upon arrival spent 30 minutes in the queue outside, that the worker on the phone never mentioned. Then was weirdly asked by security to move out the way and stay on the side while trying to take a family photo in the hotel lobby… weird but okay. Lastly, upstairs - overcrowded, can barely move around, and to get a drink from the bar it takes at least 15 minutes - for a wine and a cocktail. Cocktails look nothing like in the menu, and extremely expensive + service changed and VAT. Anyway, wasn’t the best part of my birthday. Views would be great in a more chilled situation. Definitely not coming back… UPDATE: got screamed on by a security guard when leaving the terrace telling me I can’t get in the elevator with my family - even though we were lined up all together. Told me to never come back - on my birthday. Thanks I guess. Head of security downstairs was lovely to hear me out and said that we are definitely welcome back and gave a suggestion of another place nearby. Best part of the evening was leaving.

We had an amazing experience here on a short trip to London. The staff were super friendly and accomodating and made us feel very well looked after. We were initially put inside but moved to a table with a gorgeous view a few minutes later. The drinks were delicious and above all the atmosphere was incredible. We would love to come back in the future!

Yelp
"Kindly note that we have tables available for walk-in guests, on a first come first serve basis" Apparently not, if you're a 50+ woman who isn't in a skimpy outfit. I was told they 'didn't 'admit anyone alone,'' which is just nonsense, and probably not legal. There's no universe in which I resemble an escort. There's a long bar where I am sure I would have fit for a drink and a bite. Utter, elite, totally unacceptable snobbery. Plain and simple.

Yelp
Try to play it up as a very hard to get into clubs so we had to wait 25 minutes for nothing. The place wasn't crowded on a Saturday night and while the Ambiance was very cool, it took forever to get a drink and certainly should not have been hyped up. I could imagine it would be a cool place if it we're run differently

Yelp
please AVOID this place. staffs are rude and racist, they literally kicked us out of the building and no apology at all. Me and my friends booked 8 days ago and when we arrived at the venue, the guard told us that they had already given the table to other people. this is weird because everyone should have the reservation in order to get in and our reservation should not clash with others. Plus, the security guard treated us quite differently compared to other white guys. We tried to contact the staff and the reception, but none of them can be approached. such an arrogant place and terrible management team. But more importantly, being racist is something that no one can bear with ! never go to this place!

Yelp
Jin is the hotel bar at Dorsett Shepherds Bush London. It's located in the atrium of the property--a pretty scene to stare at while sipping cocktails. Just like the hotel, the Jin menu has an Asian-British fusion. And like the rooms and decor of the hotel, drinks are impressively presented. However, though prepared nicely to every detail, the service can be quite slow and delayed due to a single bartender on shift to cover both the lounge and main restaurant. Having to prepare drinks and walk them back and forth across the ground level...rather inefficient for all parties. We've tried the Hemingway Daquiri, Dorsett Duchess (my favourite), and of course, the Shakespeare in Love. All cocktails were enjoyable, but we would only recommend having them during happy hour (2 for 1). Otherwise, the normal (expensive) prices can be avoided by walking over to nearby pubs and restaurants for better social ambiance and value.

Yelp
We tried this fun rooftop bar out on the way to the club and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and they were able to whip us up a mojito and a French 75 as good as you can find back home in New Orleans. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling in the Tower or Whitechapel areas of London. We came on a light night so we can understand why others have had a hard time to get in. Beautiful scenes of London.

Yelp
London's newest addition to the RBS (Rooftop Bar Scene) seems to be heavily relying on its admittedly stunning views but suffering dementia by failing to recall that customer service is key both for repeat customers and getting the word out. Yes, its Palissandro Bronzetto marble bar tabletop and gilded honeycomb partitions are splendid as are the black and yellow patterns and the playful pineapple thematics (the name means pineapple in Cantonese). However, I will not allow myself to be bought and sold by the cocktail ingredients conjuring the delicately spiced flavours of the Orient (think jasmine, pear, and yuzu). Let's state some facts. Attempt 1: Let's just say I've been here twice and still haven't been able to quaff anything. The first time, we came up to the 14th floor of the Dorsett on a whim. There were plenty of tables available (as it said reserved from 6:30 and it was 5:45) but they made a bit of a fuss before seating us. It took 15 minutes of waiting before I asked for a menu. Another 15 until we got a menu (keep in mind the place is rather small and it wasn't that busy). By that point, it was 6:15 and we were considering not getting a drink, mentally extrapolating how long it would take to actually receive it, when we asked to move as the party had come for their table a little early. Move where? They didn't know. So we left. Attempt 2: The second time I came, I got smart and paid a deposit but we turned up about 10 minutes late - not a problem, I thought, given how the table was sub-let until arrival last time and there's no warning on timing at the time of booking. My friend, arriving first, stated my name (keep in mind I paid a 30 quid holding deposit) but my name couldn't be found....when I came up and showed them my confirmation they changed the story, saying that I had relinquished my table by my arriving late. Even though my friend who arrived within 10 minutes was just left standing there like an idiot as they couldnt find my booking. I explained that my friend had showed up before the 15 minutes were up. They *reluctantly*! showed us to another table (as if they were doing me a favour) which did not have enough chairs to seat our party. No apology for their mistake. Nothing. We left. Think that says it all. Very put off. Have been asked several times by friends about this place and all I can tell them is "Yea, the view is nice but even if you book, take a quick pic because you'll likely just walk in and straight out."
