I was intrigued by the long queue at the restaurant, and I appreciated the detailed manner in which the boss collected my order, even asking if I wanted milk in my soup.
However, the food did not live up to my expectations. The fried fish was just have salty taste the fish fragrant does not stand out, and the broth was average.
In comparison, I have had better fish head bee hoon in Kuala Lumpur, where the dish is typically served with ginger, pickled vegetables, and tomato, which add a hint of sourness to the dish and make it refreshing.
