Jin Jin is a restaurant worthy of its Bib Gourmand designation. Although food was admittedly not the most authentic Chinese food you could get, this definitely encapsulated the spirit of Korean Chinese food.
Came here at 6:30PM on a Tuesday and restaurant was fairly packed, had to wait outside for a little under 20 minutes for a table for two. Food was reasonably priced, maybe a little bit on the higher end. Ordered the shrimp toast, chili shrimp and egg plant.
Shrimp toast and chili shrimp were highlights of the meal, with both dishes being well prepared and fresh. Flavors felt a bit one dimensional, but both dishes felt lighter than expected given that they were both fried.
Would not recommend the eggplant as it was not very reminiscent of the traditional eggplant dish, and it was overall very under seasoned.
Although we can't comment on how the restaurant fared compared to typical Korean Chinese food alternative, definitely good enough to come back to if we find ourselves in Korea again in the future!
