Jin

"Highlights at Jin include the upscale, minimalist-style interior inspired by the Far East and the flavoursome pan-Asian cuisine with a distinct Chinese edge, as well as Japanese and European influences. Tip: In addition to the à la carte selection, there are the set menus "Jin's Flavours" and "Jin's Degustation", which provide the best impression of the chef's skills." - Michelin Inspector

Just ate there today. The food was alright but the service was absolutely abysmal. From the forty minute wait time for our mains (the table beside us arrived after us, ordered the same thing & received theirs first) to the genuinely unkind interactions with the young female waitress. Her mannerisms were rude, curt, and unacceptable. I’m not asking for put-on friendliness but rudeness is not acceptable either when we did nothing to deserve it and she was plenty kind to the other patrons. I’d give them -5 stars for service if I could.

Relatively high-end Chinese food in Munich, the sashimi looks amazing and also tastes amazing! The beef is a bit salty but super soft and tender. The octopus is rather ordinary. 112 Euro for two people without wine.

Amazing experience, the food was really really good, the restaurant was so nice and the chef is very friendly. Couldn’t have had a better experience, can’t wait to go back and try the best dumplings I’ve ever had!

This one is for the big spenders, who lap up dazzling signature dishes such as roasted duck, stir fry fillet beef or carpaccio salmon with Ponzu sauce. Unlike many Sichuan style Chinese restaurant, here everything is well balanced and exquisite, My personal favourite is the clam in ginger and garlic sauce. However during covid time, I can only order takeaways, find it too pricey, as the atmosphere and sensory experience is lacking. So definitely recommend dining in.

A real treat. Highly recommended. Outstanding quality and exciting dishes. Good wines.

Starters were excellent, mains rather boring and over salted. Portions are way too big for health conscious eaters. Attentive service although losing interest towards the end of the evening. Interesting and comprehensive wine list. Worth a visit but room for improvement.

Great dinner experience with authentic Chinese food and a great wine menu...

This review is from an American who lived in San Francisco and the New York area. Just don’t even bother going here - you will be disappointed. Maybe it’s great for Munich - maybe they have such limited choices that this place stands out. This place is seriously overpriced, underwhelming food (repeat base sauce and vegetables, just switch out the protein), and the service was just awful. I can’t think of any place in NY, NJ, or CT that isn’t better than Jin, and at a fraction (try 30%) of what they charge. What a waste of an evening meal in Munich.
