"Top Chef Canada finalist Jinhee Lee has always been celebrated as one of Calgary’s most talented chefs, so the buzz was strong when she opened her very own eatery in 2020. Jinbar centers around Korean pizza, Korean fried chicken, and cocktails, all offered in a cool, eclectic dining room. The Fried Buldak is a fiery cheese pizza with layers of mozzarella, Korean barbecue spices, pickled jalapenos, and green onions. We had brunch today to celebrate Mother's Day. They ushered us in even though it was 15 minutes early before opening. The staff were courteous and friendly and they made us feel very welcomed. The food was delicious. We had the smoked pork belly eggs benny, iceberg salad and the chicken cutlet croffle. We'll ask for some maple syrup next time for the waffles☺️ We were so pleased with our selections. They also served good coffee.

My husband and I dine out A LOT all over. Jin bar is very local and walking distance to our house so tonight we decided to check it out. This place blew our minds! The food was next level amazing. Service and atmosphere was really good too! I don’t know if I will ever get over how good the food was though. Even the way it was presented was incredible. The drinks were also original and over the top.

Had a wonderful experience here. Service was excellent, and the food was something you need to take a trek down here for. The cocktail program is on point. Well balanced and almost dangerously smooth drinks for all to enjoy. 10/10 recommend. Go.. go now... What are you waiting for!?

Went here for supper and it did not disappoint. I started with the ume negroni, which was delicious. The dried orange slice a large ice cube made it extra special. I had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and really enjoyed it. We were able to get parking in the street, which is free after 6:00 p.m. All in all, I'd go back again. Would like to try other menu items.

Quick and good service, okay food. Happy hour from 4:00-5:30 which is nice though not a lot of choices under that category food-wise. Atmosphere was really nice and got non-alcoholic drinks for $2 less!

I’m sorry to say but it didn’t live up to the hype for us. We stopped in for an appetizer and a pizza. Seriously huge pass on the crispy chicken chips. I don’t know if there was even any chicken in them or if it was just chicken flavoured batter the pizza was decent. But service was slow and it was overall just okay.

Went to Jinbar for their brunch menu! Everything’s amazing as always! But the short rib benny was our fave! Also recommend the cold plum tea

One of my favorite restaurants in Calgary. They accommodated our big party and service and food was excellent. I was quite surprised by the pounded cucumber very tasty and the thai style watermelon was delightful. I wished we would have ordered more crispy chicken chips. Must order is the fried chicken. Cant wait to come back again!
