The food is really good for the price and it's a pretty nice environment. It's definitely Americanized but delicious nonetheless and I really enjoyed it. I went with a big party and we all had an amazing time and ate a lot. The Mushu pork and the walnut pecans are absolute musts!!! The dessert cheesecake is light and a nice finish to the meal.

Of all the restaurants on the Peninsula we have eaten here the most. We have been coming here for 30 years. So happy they are still around. Great for take out or dine in. Friendly and fast service. Our favorites are the Jing Jing Special Prawns, Dried Green Beans, Kung Pao Chicken.

Probably the single worst Chinese food experience I’ve had in Palo Alto. They tried to sell us twice fried pork and it was completely messed up. The owner actually came out and had the audacity to tell us “yea we know you know what real Twice Fried Pork is and this is fake, but we don’t care. If you don’t like it we’ll take it back”. I actually burst out laughing! I’ve never had a manager blatantly tell me they cook a fake dish! Really funny but would never eat here again.

It's easy to get walnut shrimp right. It's sweet, and nothing too fancy to get too wonky. But chow fun is definitely a different animal. Add prawns into that and it has the possibility of everything going sideways. This restaurant though had both of those dishes down pat. Even the Rangoon is better than I've had at most places. Honestly a super good meal, well priced, and good portion sizes. The BBQ bun did seem a bit doughy but everything else was so good it didn't affect my score at all (Plus doughy just means they actually cook them there, rather than frozen Robert Sysco food.) I'm posting a picture but do know I ate quite a bit first. I was hungry and I didn't plan on sitting around, IG-ing my shrimp dish. There was a ton more shrimp, I promise. Great job. Great food. Good prices and good portions.

None of the items we got were authentic. - Westlake Beef Soup: Wasn't bad, just didn't taste like westlake beef soup. - Tea Duck: Came with buns that usually you would put meat and veggies in to eat like a sandwich or wrap, but every pc of duck had bones or splinters in it ... - Dan Dan Noodles: Tasted like peanut sauce noodles with some non-sichuan chili sauce. Also chopsticks were not offered by default.

Landed here super hungry and tired. It’s an old style restaurant with table covers and carpeted floors. We Ordered tofu soup , vegetable dumplings in chili oil and roasted string beans after a long day of walking. We wanted something warm and comforting. Soup and dumplings were super. Tasted even better with their chilli paste. The beans had a pungent smell and taste could be reused oil or cooked without cleaning the last dish could have been meat. Vegetarian friendly if you’re not very very particular like my mother. There’s plenty of restaurants around.

Jing Jing catered our event for 80 people and everything went smoothly and was delicious! We sampled the food ahead of time and Betty was very helpful. Many people commented on how delicious the food was

If you are looking for authentic flavors i would not recommend this place. I should have known as soon as I saw forks on the tables instead of chop sticks. Service is great! Everyone is kind and welcoming. Food is okay and the price is good. I got the pan fried noodles and a hot and sour soup. Both were lacking the bold umami flavor of Chinese cooking. But the entrees were clean (not greasy and tasted fresh) and presented well and was a good portion for the price. The noodles in the pan fried noodles were not the right noodle so they came out overly chewy and tasteless. Over all would I go back to this place, probably not because I like more authentic flavors. But for someone that is more into the American style Chinese will probably like it. Oh last thing the kitchen looked very clean and organized as i walked past it going to the bathroom. Bathroom was also clean.
