Google
First time here, of course, and the food did not disappoint. Our table of three showed up at exactly 11:30 and in 15 minutes, it became super packed! We did the $39.99 all you can eat and we ate till we bursted! Their choices were plentiful and there was something for everybody! The service was absolutely delightful with their waiters are very attentive. The food came out a little slower than expected but I understand it being an all you can eat, food coming out at a steady to slow pace makes sense. Everything was super fresh and or super hot as if prepared to order. I would highly recommend coming here for a date or special occasions. They also have a $19.99 all you can eat which is more in people’s price range. That would be an everyday thing for me.

Google
Wow wow wow is all I have to say. Came here at 11:30 on a Saturday morning to eat the $19.99 AYCE and I was blown away. I tried 11 different dishes and everything was fresh, flavorful, and delivered fast. I would recommend making a reservation as the restaurant was almost full by 12:30. Highly recommend this place!!!

I recently visited JingHe Japanese Restaurant, an AYCE sushi spot located at Mockingbird Station, after hearing a lot of recommendations from friends and clients. The vibe of the place is super chill, making it a great spot to hang out with friends or family. The ambiance definitely gets points for being casual and comfortable. When it comes to the food, the quality wasn’t bad—it's definitely edible and there's a decent variety of, nigiri, sushi rolls and other dishes on the menu. However, for my family and me, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations we had. As a family that values the freshness and quality of fish, we found the sushi to be a bit lacking in that department. If you're looking for a fun, laid-back spot to grab a bite with friends or family, JingHe could be a solid option.

Google
We recommend you to try the all AYCE (dinner menu). We love sushi and we can say that this is the best sushi AYCE in DFW. They served it fresh. Like the crab legs is NOT an imitation crab, edemame is not dry and reheated (unlike to some places). We will come back to this place 🤎

Google
Went for the all-you-can-eat dinner and honestly left impressed—fresh fish, generous nigiri portions, and everything came out fast and beautifully plated. The place has that upscale-but-chill vibe, perfect for a date or catching up with friends without shouting over loud music. Service was super friendly, they kept checking in without hovering. Only downside? It got packed fast, so definitely make a reservation or show up early. Totally worth it if you’re craving sushi and want to try a bit of everything without breaking the bank.

OMG!!! We love this place and this is our first visit. Amazing service and our waitress was such a beautiful spirit. She recommended some great choices and we ordered and loved them all.

Google
Very few 5 out of 5 places. This place deserves a great score. I do recommend you at least show up early, right when they open, or have set a reservation on the webpage. This place is super popular in the morning and I can see why. Came here 2 times already, and both times I have experienced great service and wonderful food. I recommend the $20 all you can eat menu. They have a lot to choose from this menu, and its all 5 out of 5. Dishes I recommend you ordering is Garden salad comes with dressing, spicy cucumber, fried dumplings, fried squid legs, takoyaki, eel sushi roll, spicy California hand roll and the spicy Miso ramen. All those plates a 5 out of 5 we get it every time and never fails comes out great all the time.

Google
1st time and it was a great experience! The value was there and the cuts were solid. Some things were just okay and others were good, you should definitely try to find what your fave is the 1st time so next visits you can keep ordering what you like!

Yelp
Hungry for sukiyaki, with search, I found this spot. To my surprise, one can now order a la carte or from an AYCE extensive menu for $19 here. With JH's inviting setting and wonderful service, I really enjoyed my time nibbling away. Of all their apps tried, okay were their freshly made sushi rolls, delicious and my favorites were their "Spicy Cucumber" & "Cheese Wonton". As for their sukiyaki, the beef was tough yet the taste was right. Looking forward to my next visit in trying their ramen instead. CHEERS!

Yelp
Stopped by after a show at hyenas at around 9:45pm. Mind you, the spot closes at 10pm! The staff were clearly about to shut the whole spot down when we walked in but they were super nice and seated us with a smile. We sat at the bar and ordered as quick as we could! They didn't rush us at all which was super nice. We'd never heard of JingHe and only stopped by because we like Asian food and it seemed interesting enough from the outside. Boy are we glad we did! The food and decor were both great. We got an order of salmon sashimi, the chicken karage, and the garlic noodles. Everything was tasty and the service was friendly and engaging. The highlight of the meal was definitely the garlic noodle dish. Served in a super hot stone bowl, it came out still bubbling and howling of delicious noodles being cooked. Seriously, we've been all of Southeast Asia for amazing noodles and these were top 5 in presentation and flavor (think the hot stone at some steak spots but for noodles and in a bowl!). The noodles have what I thought was a generous portion of crab (but it may have been chicken?!? Or both?!?) and it's ample amounts of crispy garlic that stick to the bowl making you want to grab every last crisply morsel! The sushi is tasty as well. The chicken karage was similar to others I've had and just as good. All in all I definitely recommend this spot for a Japanese fix and especially if you are in the area for a movie or a comedy show.

Yelp
Service a little off. We had tonkotsu ramen, chicken teriyaki and h three meat sampler. The meat wasn't flavorful enough for me: I love Japanese food, but this didn't quite meet the standard I was hoping for. The decoration was nice tho. Perfect lighting!

Yelp

Yelp
We randomly stopped in for lunch one afternoon and had an overall good experience. The restaurant was very clean and quiet (it was also a random Wednesday so we were the only ones in there at the time). Our server was really nice and helpful. We both had ramen dishes, one vegetable and the other spicy. Both ramen dishes were pretty good (nothing too remarkable). For an appetizer we also had the shrimp tempura. I tried the Igawa Iced Tea, and as a non whisky drinker it was pretty good as well (on the sweeter side). Overall it was a good meal, I am unsure if we'd go back since it was not spectacular and there are other places with similar menus that we prefer.

Yelp
Great food and wonderful service! They just opened so give them a little bit of time to work out anyway issues. It has a really fun vibe, great for happy hour or a dinner date. They have really great Japanese whiskey, and sake bombs, cheers!

Yelp
We went here on a rainy Saturday and we're seated immediately. My boyfriend and I both tried the Spicy Miso Ramen and it was delicious. Let me tell you the boiled eggs were SOO good. I don't know what it was about them but the flavor of the egg with the spicy broth was delicious! I would go back for this ramen just for the eggs themselves! I recommend the ramen! Service was great and our server was sweet!

Yelp
Surprisingly it was very slow for a Saturday! I was surprised to see old folk up in there, since the restaurant seems hip, but the trio are so cute! I ordered the garlic noodles and trust me it's super garlicky! I got to try watermelon soju for the first time and it was refreshing. My fiancé ordered a whiskey drink and it was sooo good! We also ordered the Japanese cheesecake to go and the tiny slice wasn't worth it. Would I go back? Probably not, but it's worth checking out for yourself.
google avatar

Shannon W.

Yelp
I'm looking forward to coming back here when their sushi chef is back in town because everything else I ate was so bomb. Their drinks are REALLY good (the watermelon soju was huge and fun to share with everyone.) We made a reservation but I think you'd be okay to walk in if you're alright with waiting a few mins. I'll see you again soon JingHe!

Yelp
This tradition Japanese restaurant is beautifully decorated with food prepared in traditional Japanese fashion-elegant and delicious. The rice hot bowls are amazing and the appetizers are perfect for groups of 4. The sake list is pricy but the wine and beer selection are suitable for a Dallas crowd. Overall highly recommend for a high end Japanese cuisine experience.

Yelp
great ambiance but it was empty inside, we were the only people there. The host was our server. Food was sub par, crab rangoon was just cream cheese. Gyoza was good. I also had the sirloin and it was not my favorite, no flavor and very thin.

Yelp
We came here for lunch with such high hopes. I was with 2 of my co workers and the restaurant was not that busy. We ordered off their lunch menu which had a decent price and options. I had the shrimp tempura meal with pork gyoza, edamame and rice. One of my coworkers had the chicken karage (sp) with the chicken gyoza, edamame and rice and the other coworker had teriyaki chicken and chicken gyoza, rice and edamame. My tempura was heavily battered seemed like more batter than shrimp. The pork gyoza was meh and the edamame was fine , I did not finish my meal. My coworker didn't finish her teriyaki meal and said it was okay. The co worker with the chicken karage really enjoyed his chicken. However, nothing else stood out. The service was not good. It was slow and absent minded. The meal came out separate and the entire lunch felt disjointed. This could be new restaurant kinks. Hopefully, the kinks get worked out and maybe if I ordered off the full menu.

Yelp
The ambiance and service was fantastic. We ordered a few things off the grill as well as a side of spicy cucumber. The chicken was so crispy and tender and the beef was very juicy and extremely flavorful. Excited to explore the menu in the months to come.

Yelp
Don't be fooled by influencer's social media reels! We came for lunch on a Friday at 11:30. As we walked up, we were unsure if the place was even open because it looked so dark inside and the "open" sign was not lit. The door was indeed unlocked, but when we walked in it was completely empty and dark. There was one hostess/waitress and we did not see any other workers our whole time there. The restaurant was eerily quiet and dim lit. No background music or any type of noise whatsoever. We were very excited to try a new restaurant after seeing some reels on Instagram from different influencers. We carefully studied Instagram and Yelp to find out what we wanted to order. We decided on the Japanese BBQ toro beef, garlic shoyu NY strip, miso hirame, garlic noodles, and sukiyaki rice. The toro beef and garlic shoyu NY strip came out first. We ordered 3 meats because we wanted to try each meat with the different type of marinade/seasoning. But disappointingly all 3 meats tasted the same with some kind of soy sauce based marinade, but with a slightly difference sauce on the top. Toro beef was salty because it was thinner than the other cuts. The meats were cut pretty thin, so you would think at $18-$22 each that the quality would be on the higher side. Meat quality was disappointing at the price point. It wasn't terrible, but expected better. Garlic noodles were not bad and the sukiyaki rice was meh, but each was $16-$18. Again... pricey for something not that special! I don't mind paying for quality, but did not feel like we got what we paid for here.

Yelp
Really good Japanese food! The servers were so friendly and the atmosphere was nice. We made an 8:30 reservation, not realizing they close at 9 and felt a bit rushed just knowing we were there late, although the servers and staff were still so kind and accommodating. My only advice would be to not take reservations after 8 on nights when the closing time is 9pm.

Yelp
Wow. This place has serious potential for being a new staple in Dallas proper if they keep it up. The karaage, kimchi, chashu, and garlic noodle were all incredible. It's not cheap, but the quality of every dish made it feel like a steal. Will definitely be going back soon.

Yelp
I was really impressed by the decor, cool serving dishes for everything we ordered, and the food itself! Our server was good as well. If I lived in the area this would be a go-to date night spot. I got the Sukiyaki which I loved (wait for it to cool down though!)

Yelp
Ate dinner here on a Saturday before headed to the AAC. We ate from the All you can eat menu. Everything g we had was good. Teriyaki chicken was great. The sushi was good, fresh. My girlfriend had a ramen bowl which she liked and I had a beef sukiyaki bowl which was really good. The staff was nice, the food came out quickly. Definitely recommend!

Kathy S.

Yelp
The pork dumplings were the best I've had in Dallas. The garlic noodles were delicious. The yaki udon was divine. Will definitely be back

Yelp
Such an amazing restaurant! The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Highly recommend this gem deep in the heart of Texas!

Yelp
Food was great, ambience is beautiful, and service was friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back. I would say, as helpful advice, to order more than you generally would. Pricing is very reasonable for portion size. I ordered the steak with a side of rice but once it arrived, I put in an order for gyoza as well due to size. Price for the steak was only 22.00 and for the quality, that is a great price, but I did need more food and don't generally eat extremely large portions. Presentation was immaculate, love their options, and am excited to see how they fare. Great work, guys.

Yelp
Lovely ambiance. Decor is my platonic ideal. Got the ramen and it was delicious. Staff was very engaged.

Yelp
We dined at Jinghe tonight as guests of a friend. The children karaage is very good and the beef dish amazing. We also liked the cheese corn as an appetizer. Waiting staff are relatively new but are friendly enough. We will come back again. Worth to mention that parking is convenient with a big garage just nearby.
