Yong Fu (Huangpu)

"Shanghainese are no strangers to Ningbo cuisine and can be hard to please. This restaurant, with lots of old Shanghai charm, fares well with wild-caught seafood shipped daily from Ningbo and meticulously prepared to highlight its natural taste. Portion sizes can be tailored to your party size and emphasis is on seasonal items, such as razor clams from Ninghai, available March to May. New items like yellow croaker roe aspic are also worth trying." - Michelin Inspector

Great hotel in Shanghai in a nicest location where I grew up, so always like to stay here when I visit Shanghai again and again!!! Very good service and good foods as well, and everything you need to have and buy will be walking distance. If you try once and you will be coming back too;).

Excellent hotel with friendly staff, especially Ivan Liu, except for the guy working at the reception of Gym on 16/03/2025 at around 10am. He was playing with his mobile phone and when I approached him, he was somehow annoyed. He asked to see the equipment on his computer screen for security and told me the Gym was underground and the air was not fresh. Basically, he was telling me to pisse off. He should be warned not to degrade the workplace that feeds him.

The Jin Jiang Hotel is a huge complex within a short walk of Shaanxi Road metro station and it's easy to get practically anywhere in Shanghai from. The staff are courteous, and pretty much all amenities are provided for, including a decent umbrella to tackle the Shanghai rains. The rooms are generously sized, always immaculately clean, and again all amenities are provided for.The biggest issue is noise, not from neighbouring rooms, but from the hallways where you will find either guests or housekeeping shouting in 中文 early in the morning and it is practically impossible if you need to sleep in.TVs could use an upgrade to something modern that supports casting from your own device, although in China I am not sure international travellers would have much luck casting their favourite services anyway.Otherwise a great hotel.

Worst service for 5 stars hotel. Front desk staff don't understand English well is acceptable but no service mind at all. May be I'm look like poor people for them as no suite and tie they didn't want to service me. BTW, Conceige is very helpful and friendly especially tall lady she is very nice.

The hotel is located around 5mins away from the Shanxi South Road metro station. Room is spacious and the staff are friendly and helpful. You will immerse yourself in the history of this beautiful hotel during your stay.

This hotel was recommended by a friend.  It did not disappoint.  It’s a hotel that has hosted many government leaders and royals. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.  The furnishings were classic and elegant. Close to bars, restaurants.  The Bund area was only a short, cheap Didi ride away. Breakfast was included and the choice extensive.

Historical shanghanese hotel adjacent to People Square. Probably before was one of the most high-end hotels, and indeed it keeps the old style. Adding some USB sockets in the room would make life easier. I like that they use old objects, furniture and photos to design the interiors, giving it a bit of a museum touch.|It is a busy hotel in a busy area, so bear that in mind. The receptionists were not very friendly.

Always chosing this hotel for my businesstrips. Very good price. Very big rooms and comfortable huge beds. Very clean rooms. 5 mins walk to shopping street and metro station. Breakfast is chinese style so not ok for me but can’t complain if you’re in China :) little bit hard for taxi drivers to find.
