Walked in after another check . Great service . Friendly staff . Great pizza ! Hot to order ! And BEER ! seems family owned . Love the joint for a quit stop by and eat place .

Google
Prompt delivery! Very fresh salad, excellent garlic bread and tasty pizza. The lettuce, vegetables and meat in the antipasti salad were incredibly fresh and delicious. Top quality cold cuts! The pizza has a nice chewy and subtly sweet crust with a nice tomato sauce and generous cheese. Did I say the delivery was fast?!? Definitely worth the price!

Pizza looks very good. A lot of cheese. Not too much sauce. And it smells wonderful. Me and my husband were out running all day and we needed something just right. We chose the perfect play.

Google
Awesome! Sometimes 15 mins, if busy 30. Delivery always within the windows they say! Come here if you want a quick eat and family owned local treat. They are never bothered by my thin crust special. Try Jino’s today!

Been coming here since the 80's. Used to be my favorite pizza joint in LA. Loved the crust. Went tonight expecting the same great pizza. Very disappointed. Nothing is the same. Crust is horrible. How do you mess up cheese? I don't know. They managed it. Oh, well. The search continues.

Me and my girlfriend had forgotten the name and address of this place. We had given up on eating here again. Not until we found the flier in the most random place. Cant wait to go back and try it out aging. Bbq chicken pizza was really good last time we went.

2/8/18, 7pm, Thur. The guy took my cell phone order. Slurd my order on the phone and ask me questions about food that had nothing to do with a Lasagna order. He even gave me a total on how much it would cost. When I got there DUDE WAS DRUNK!!!! SAID HE NEVER TOOK MY ORDER. You could smell the ALCOHOL on his breathe from across the counter... And when I accused him off being DRUNK! He sure didn't deny it....

Yelp
Great food and service! We enjoyed Cheesy garlic ciabatta bread I recommend to add marinara sauce. Caesar salad with Calabrian chili great little cheese spicy kick. Chicken Milanesa tender, perfectly crispy with a bed of arugula. Ragu pasta short rib tomato sauce it was okay. A limone Tagliatelle pasta very tasty pasta. It's a small restaurant and they are busy thankfully service is quick so no long waiting. Restaurant and restrooms were clean. No pictures cause we were very hungry..

Yelp
Really sad to write this review but it truly just didn't sit right with me. We came here on a Saturday night around 8:30 and it was fairly crowded but we were seated within 15 minutes. One person in my party wasn't feeling too hungry so they were just going to share our pastas and get a dessert at the end, but when he ordered, our waitress immediately frowned and responded with "seriously? You're going to be that kinda person?" I'm all for dry humor but the glare was really off putting and we honestly couldn't tell if it was a joke or not. We then asked for tap water, and someone came a minute later to pour with a bottle (which we assumed was filled with tap) but then 5 minutes later the waitress came back with a different bottle and said "oh I guess he gave you bottled water, we'll just charge you for that". What?! Strike two. The food itself was good, portions are on the smaller side for the price but pasta was al dente and flavor was decent. What pushed me to leave this review was when we paid, we each put our card down and asked her to split it evenly. Now I get that sometimes that's a hassle, and if we were told that they could only take one card, totally fine. But instead, we each got charged completely arbitrary costs (some twice as much as the others) which, granted, we didn't realize until after the fact because we were talking, but when you added what everyone was charged it was significantly higher than the original receipt. I wish I snapped a photo of it because we all thought we were crazy, but when we looked at the menu again we realized she completely overcharged. Strike three. I was so excited to try this place out but the attitude and unethical practice we experience just left such a sour taste in our mouth.

Yelp
Really wanted to love this place but had a pretty "meh" experience overall. It seemed like the restaurant wouldn't be too busy as there were plenty of reservations open for a Saturday evening, so we opted not to make a reservation and just showed up around 7 PM. Our mistake! We ended up needing to join the waitlist and waited for about 40 minutes to be seated. Not a fault of the restaurant's or anything, but learn from my mistake and make a reservation if you can. There isn't too much seating inside, and while there's some seating outside, you may want to opt for indoor seating depending on weather. The food was a hit or miss. The appetizers were great. The meatballs and ricotta were delicious, and the garlic bread that they came with was crispy on the edges but soft on the inside. While the Brussels sprouts weren't crispy as I had hoped, they were really yummy. The pasta was honestly underwhelming. The bolognese was decent; adding some chili flakes definitely helped. The Alfredo was bland and tasted like it was straight out of a jar. I had requested garlic butter shrimp with it, but it came with normal boiled shrimp (not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if it was a miscommunication). I needed lots of pepper and crushed red garlic to make the dish somewhat decent. Maybe the other pastas are better, but these two were skips for me. I might come back for some of the appetizers, but I'd go elsewhere if I was in the mood for good pasta.

Yelp
Cute and casual pasta spot in Inglewood! I got the A La Vodka Pasta and Half Size Chicken Cutlet and it was good. The pasta was al dente, creamy, and spicy. The chicken cutlet was crispy, crunchy, and not dry. The lemon squeeze was a great addition. I also loved the cheese on both of the dishes. Hot take, but I would've preferred if my pasta was softer, but it was still good. The portions seemed to be on the smaller side and it was a bit pricey for what you got, but I think I was still satisfied after the meal. The atmosphere is aesthetic and comfy. I love the branding and the details with the decor. The staff were also nice. There's a parking lot, but it is pretty tight and a bit difficult to back out of. Overall, a pleasant experience here and is a nice and casual pasta spot option if you're in the Inglewood area.

Yelp
I ordered takeout and was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience! A bonus was that since we live nearby the food arrived hot as if they just handed it to us! We got the cheesy garlic bread, which was perfectly crisp with just the right amount of cheese and not overly garlicky. We also ordered the a la vodka pasta and spaghetti with meatballs. Both fantastic dishes! I was impressed by how well the food held up during delivery. I'm definitely planning to visit the restaurant in person next time to experience the ambiance. It's always so lively and packed outside which made me really want to try it. For now delivery was a great first impression!

Yelp
We've been wanting to try this place for a little while and so we did tonight for dinner. We did not have reservations, but we were seated right away. I love the music and the staff are very friendly. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, garlic cheese bread, and the Alfredo. The garlic cheese bread was delicious with the marinara sauce and the fresh pasta made the Alfredo super scrumptious. Our server Erica had great energy and a positive attitude. The hostess also did a phenomenal job. She is a "vibe" awesome energy.

Jacqui Y.

Yelp
Good, simple flavors. Food done right. Food done well. We started with the scampi and grits, cheesy garlic bread, warm olives and a side of meatballs Then we got the lasagne, crab mafalda, a limone, ragu. Pasta was cooked to perfection, sauces were generous and seasoned just right. We finished our meal with the bread pudding which was delightful! Service was good and friendly. The place was casual, bright and homey. We found parking on the street and walked a little bit which was enough to burn all the pasta we ate. We will surely visit this spot again!

Yelp
This is easily the best Italian food I've had in Los Angeles. The limone pasta was crafted perfectly, with delicious crispy breadcrumbs on top and a bright, creamy sauce. My friend had the eggplant parmesan, which she said was incredible. We also ordered the garlic bread, which was unexpectedly a highlight of the meal! The bread pudding at the conclusion of our meal was also absolutely delightful. Prices are super reasonable and the portions are huge. Our server Thom was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. I will say that service was definitely slow -- our garlic bread came out after our entrees, and we waited quite a long time for our dessert to come out after it was accidentally delivered to the wrong table. We arrived on a Sunday a little before 6pm, and there was a long wait to sit inside but we were seated outdoors right away. They wound up closing their parking lot and putting tables out there for guests, so we had to park around the corner which wasn't challenging. Overall, this is a great classic red sauce joint and is the perfect spot to take someone if you're coming from or going to LAX due to the convenient location.

Yelp
Sunday gravy has been on my list for a few months. Thought about it for pre- concert dinners but it's so popular and always so busy. Was in the area again this weekend around lunch time and called to find out they were too busy and no current wait. Got seated quickly in their sunroom after thinking it would be better to sit inside rather than outside. We were definitely wrong- after 30 mins in the sun room the sun was directly on my mom and had her sweating, definitely not the most comfortable while trying to enjoy hot fresh pasta. Don't recommend sitting here during summer/ sunny days - I did hear them talking about adding window tint, hopefully that happens soon. As for our food we ordered the fried Brussels and cheesy garlic bread with sauce for apps, then the spaghetti and meatballs and lobster bucatini (current special). Apps were delicious! Entrees were a little more al dente than I usually like but very flavorful. One thing I wish they had were more drink options- an aperol spritz would've been perfect with the meal. Our server Kai was very friendly and attentive. Food came quickly and pipping hot. They have a small parking lot but there is street parking in nearby neighborhood as well. I would like to come back again and try the fusilli allá vodka and their bread pudding though!

Laura C.

Yelp
Parking: There's free street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Experience: We got there around 7pm on a Saturday night and there was about a 20 minute wait. The restaurant is pretty small inside and there were a few tables for 2 set up outside. The service was great and it was the kind of place that would constantly refill your water glass. We ordered the garlic bread, Caesar salad, spaghetti & meatballs, the a la vodka, and ragu (my favorite). The vodka sauce had the perfect amount of spice. Don't skip out on dessert! The best part of the meal might have been the bread pudding made with Hawaiian bread and served with an incredible caramel sauce!!

Yelp
Unfortunately, I feel the experience here has gone down. I ordered takeout as I had the biggest craving for their Caesar and a vodka pasta. I ordered through Yelp and to my surprise when I arrived I realized they had blocked off their tiny little parking lot and placed three additional seating tables under shared gas heaters. They also offer Valet which I feel is the least they can offer as their parking situation became more of a pain for guests looking to dine in. I arrived and walked up to who I assumed was a hostess as she was holding a tablet and taking down someone's information, she was alongside a man in a blazer with Sunday Gravy's logo on a button so I also assumed he was someone important to the restaurant. I patiently waited for them to finish attending to the couple in front of me, when they were all done I stepped forward and I am so serious when I say I stood there for two full minutes while they were wrapped up in their own conversation, finally the man acknowledged me and said hello, I stated I was here for a pickup and I gave him my name. He went inside and stayed in there for a few minutes while I waited outside. Never came back to update me or say that it maybe was just getting wrapped up or it would be a few minutes. Not a peep. Instead he came out after ten minutes and continued talking to the hostess, did not check in with me at all or show any hospitality. I feel a simple exchange of reassurance that my order was in the works or almost done would have mended the feeling of neglect that came over me. Another 20 minutes passed before I finally managed to squeeze inside the small restaurant to check on my order. I waited next to another woman who was looking to pickup and I noticed there was one single diner sitting at a table that could fit FOUR guests. As someone in the hospitality/service industry I have to say that was a really poor call. Turning that table is vital in sales considering they have very limited seating. I see revenue that was lost. I'd suggest making a stricter seating arrangement. Finally a woman at the expo turned to me and asked what order I was picking up and I was flabbergasted when I saw her peer over and grab a little tied bag that I know had been sitting on the shelf in front of her. My order had been waiting for me :( I kindly said thank you and returned to my car. Opened my order to inspect its quality, unfortunately my pasta was lukewarm closer to cold. While I was waiting what seemed a very long time for my food I took a peek at their menu, I noticed a few price differences from their actual in restaurant menu and compared from my online order with yelp. I can also state I do not agree with the automatic up charge I underwent bye ordering through the yelp app! :( on their physical menu their Vodka pasta is $15.75, I paid $18.25. Their Caesar salad is priced at $14 but I had to pay $16 through Yelp. That's insane! I usually love leaving a cash tip for a pickup but nothing compelled me to leave one on this occasion, will likely not be back:/.

Yelp
I was requested to order catering for our regional meeting. I was thinking Italian would be a great choice. I must mention I emailed/called North Italia, emailed Jame, I was hoping for a call back. But I was told it's all through email. So figured they were all like that. Sunday Gravy was my 3rd find. They called me right away and was able to assist all my needs! They are also all so kind it was a nice experience from ordering, to picking up, to digging in. I really like how the actual restaurant is set up. It's pretty chill and would love to dine in soon. You got to try those meatballs! 10/10!!

Yelp
This is by far one of my favorite restaurants! I saw this place on tiktok and the hype was worth it. The time and effort they put into every dish is incredible. Every bite better than the last, it leaves you wanting more. I've been here four times this year and I can't say I have a favorite dish because every dish is that good! It's hard to choose. Food: Lasagna- The best I've ever had it was so creamy and soft you hardly had to chew it and it was gone. Maybe I've been eating over done lasagna because nothing else compares to this soft, pillowy deliciousness! Also it's a big portion! 11/10 Vodka pasta- I was a bit skeptical because I'm not the biggest fan of red sauce pastas but wow!!! With the chicken cutlet?? Easily a 10/10 I also love the shape so unique and fun to eat Crab Mafalda- I would say that this one is good and tasty but not as good as the other ones in my opinion. It lacked a little bit of flavor and there wasn't a lot of crab but add the chili oil to it and it takes it to a whole new level. 7.5/10 Hot chicken parm sando- one of my FAVORITE sandwiches. They knew what they were doing with this one. It is so delicious!!! With the chilies on the side... Chefs kiss chef Meatballs with ricotta - Love! Love! Love! Love!! They are two huge meatballs that are perfectly seasoned and the ricotta just makes it so much better. (Add the chili oil and it levels the dish that much more) Al limone - This dish is really nice and light but very heavy on the limón as you would imagine. I paired this with the garlic shrimp and it was really good! Bread pudding- words cannot describe how delicious and magical this dish is. Oh my it's probably the best, it takes the #1 spot in best desserts. I would order this one just for me it's that good. It's so soft it melts in your mouth!! That caramel sauce and the pistachios ugh!! Love it!! Service: The service here is amazing!! They are so attentive and very helpful in navigating the menu. The explanations they provide to describe flavors and textures of every dish is very accurate, they know what they are talking about. Our server Erica was so nice!!!! She's amazing! Also the hostess Tierra was amazing!!! Both girls are so funny and make you feel at home. Ambiance: The best way to put it is you're at your best friend's house eating dinner. It's so homey, such a vibe, and they have the best lowkey playlist with all the best hits. I love the decor here so minimal but executed amazingly. I love you Sunday gravy you're the best!! Thank you!!

Jenelle T.

Yelp
Very disappointed. After driving over an hour for our Global Entry appointment we were excited to be in the area to eat here. Had delicious food last time. Upon arriving and finding the last parking spot we were greeted by the hostess who asked us to move our car because they do not offer parking for customers in the parking lot! What?! Where else does a customer of this restaurant park?! There is no available parking on the crowded street. She said maybe across the busy street at Popeyes. I'm sorry but that is very poor customer service in my opinion if you cannot offer parking for your customers. Guess I will not be back.

Yelp
Ok wowzerzzzz bread pudding 5 for the bread pudding! That ish is LEGIT! Man. 3.5-4 for the food and 2 for the music outside?! Not sure what that was about but all bad! So I'm doing a 4 because that bread pudding is very unique!!! They use Hawaiian bread and OMG that caramel chocolate cinnamon liquor sauce stuff was fantastic and I am a no or less sauce kind of girl! The vanilla gelato is delish and the crumbled pistachios was a fantastic touch. I got everything on the side and man I could eat this for every meal LOL! Highly reco the bread pudding! The pasta was good but not a 5, more a 3.5-4 for me. The bolognese has a very cool pasta that for me would have been better with a cream sauce. I wanted traditional pasta with my bolognese. That said the bolognese sauce was very good!!! Get the cheese garlic bread to go with your meal and ask for it to come at the same time. Ours didn't and we ate almost all of it bc it was so good but I wanted it to go with the bolognese! Delish and I am not a bread girl either. Also got the Cacio a Pepe (sp?) it was good, but imho average. I'd get it again it's just not something I'm driving there for like the bread pudding which I would walk miles for lol. Also got the garlic shrimp to go with the Cacio a Pepe. The sauce was not garlicky more olive oil-y either minimal flavor. And the shrimp are small. Good but not great. Parking was ok on a Friday night at dinner time. Limited options but it worked. Outdoor seating in late Nov at night is cold, they have heatlamps though which helps so dress warm. Seating for four but limited. Two is best. There was a 30 min wait on a Fri night at dinner time between 7-8pm. It thinned out by 9. They put a VERY LOUD speaker outside with atypical public atmosphere type music. This spot is in Inglewood and across from Serving Spoon which is a historic soul food breakfast spot to help you understand the culture vibe in that area. However this area is gentrifying, a lot. And the music they played exemplified that. They should lean into a European boutique hotel chill house or soulful jazz or rnb type vibe NOT loud very American alternative or whatever it was type music. It killed our entire dinner vibe as we had to sit outside due to the busy time and no reservations. The owner was the one putting the music on loud and this fantastic waiter fought for those of us outside (there were a few couples wanting ear plugs) and then he finally let the waiter lower it. It was obnoxious though and the owner or manager whatever he was didn't care one bit (well maybe one bit bc he let the waiter lower it) but in the end he wanted to do what he wanted to do. He was like my rent payments my risk and I'm doing what I want lol! Ok buddy. If he didn't have that bread pudding tho I'd be out like shout if I went back and that music was lit again lol. Major no go for me. Frequency touches our souls and whatever frequency he was blaring was not nurturing my nature. Maybe others like it tho. Those there at that time did not for sure. That said I'll be back for that crack bread pudding! Ps to the person who replied from Sunday Gravy, thank you for the comment but the music being LOUD is the issue more than anything! And many people were unhappy but it was 100% overlooked by the manager and the waiter saved him from complaints. The

Yelp
I had another great experience! I can't wait to try other pastas. The cheesy garlic bread is still the best part for me though; that's what I've been dreaming about ever since!

Robbin R.

Yelp
Nice place for dinner. Family friendly. Although you order at the counter, food is brought out to the table. Service is good, food is better. Not a fan of the wine selection. Small lot and plenty of free on street parking. THE FOOD: Bucatini A Limone - really good. Definitely lemon taste super flavorful Caesar - very good. I like the bread crumbs instead of croutons Eggplant Parm - very different from the traditional and I LOVE IT. It's the whole eggplant split open then cheese and sauced down. Order a side of extra sauce. I needed a bit more also. A dip the garlic bread in it. Yum. Cheesy Garlic Bread - yes and thank you.

Wendy W.

Yelp
Sunday Gravy is great for take out - I sent in my order online and picked up, the food was HOT, the order was correct. Portions were large. I got the lasagna, butter shrimp, short rib ragu, milanesa, and cheesy garlic bread. All dishes were SO TASTY! Will be back.

Jessica I.

Yelp
Pretty yummy place! Ordered the Caesar salad, garlic cheese bread, ragu, and Alfredo. The cheese bread was SO good. The pastas had good flavor but portions were a bit small. Servers were very kind! Small parking lot and street parking are available.

Ellie K.

Yelp
The food was amazing (we ordered the limona, vodka, alfredo, and one meat pasta). We orderer togo before going to a concert since the wait to sit down was taking a while. The server was nice and updates us on how much we had to wait for each option. The vibes were good, with indoor and outdoor seatings ( there were a mix of different kinds of groups of people ranging from families to couples to friends). I definitely want to come and try again at the restaurant instead of togo but the food was still amazing!!

Ingrid L.

Yelp
Was going to watch a concert at SoFi and decided to come here for dinner. I think many other people had the same idea! Came with a group of 5 and we got to try lots of things Garlic Bread & Mozzarella sticks- solid Caesar- I think this is one of my favorite caesars I've ever had. The breadcrumbs were delicious A la vodka- absolute perfection. I would get this everytime Alfredo- I don't typically like white sauces but the texture of the tagliatelle was so good that I enjoyed this The place is super small so I would make reservations if going during a busy time.

Trina D.

Yelp
My husband and I were going to a concert at the Kia Forum over the weekend, driving up from OC. We met up with a few friends who happen to live nearby in Torrance. We parked on the street in a nearby residential area. We called ahead for a table for 4 people at 5 pm, since you can make reservations for parties of 4 or more. I didn't know what to expect but shout-out to my friend Morgan H. for reviewing this spot last year and giving it 5 stars. Her review basically cemented my decision to eat at Sunday Gravy. The restaurant had cleared their parking lot and provided additional seating outside on the blacktop. They had quite a few tables for 2 outside with a bunch of people waiting for a table too. We were the lucky ones who were seated inside. My friends said it wasn't super busy when they pulled up but it got busy when we showed up. I guess a lot of people had the same idea. We were seated quickly and given menus. Tom gave us the spiel about Sunday Gravy. We were also told that the pasta was cooked al dente. We ordered Garlic cheese bread ($10) for the table to start. They brought us a side of marinara to dip it in too. I had perused the menu and my husband and I opted for the Arabiatta entree ($14.75) with a side of meatballs ($6.50). We weren't sure on the portion size so opted to order more if the food wasn't enough. We just didn't want leftovers to sit in the car while we were at the concert. My friends opted for the Bolognese entree ($17.05) and the Spaghetti & Meatballs ($20) entree. We ended up ordering a half size Chicken Parmigiana ($13.00) to supplement our other pasta because it was so good. I liked that they had different shaped pasta for each of their entrees. The pasta was indeed fresh and al dente. It was so very good and we were happy to have had the opportunity to try it out. Sunday Gravy will be on our list again next time we are in the area.

Michelle P.

Yelp
While channel surfing, I came across the local news channel for the area featuring small business and restaurants. I made a point to add it to my last of places to try on one of my regular So Cal trips during football season. The food featured looked amazing! In person, in was not disappointed! The food was fresh, the service staff were very attentive and all around a good experience! Finding the spot and Parking can be a bit challenging but it is well worth it!

Maya L.

Yelp
We walked in before dinner rush and were able to snag a table indoors. Although service was abysmal and fell insultingly flat, we tipped 15% (could not justify 20%), because the hostess was friendly and the busser worked hard. Our server was nonexistent and relatively dry. Appetizers are yummy (mozz sticks and cheese bread) but they're still not standout dishes. I asked for my chopped salad to have no salami and the server said, "uh sure" and rolled her eyes. Surprise! The salad had salami. Pastas are decent but nothing to write home about. Sadly, Sunday Gravy is a slightly elevated Buca di Beppo or Olive Garden. Restrooms are clean, and the restaurant is colorful and quaint.

Yelp
A friend suggested this amazing place and he was spot on. We came before seeing a show at the Forum (10 minutes away, if that). When you come here, be hungry as you will want to order multiple dishes like we did. Portions are generous and by the time the 3rd dish arrived we were thinking we over ordered. We started with the garlic bread and meatballs in a gorgeous red sauce. The garlic bread is not to be missed. I have regrets giving half my piece to my husband thinking I was going to get too full. Prosciutto and melon on ricotta with crumbled pistachios was a daily special. Haven't had this dish in a long time and this was delish! Grits in a red sauce arrived next and if you like grits like I do, this is a must get. We wanted to go meat free for the pasta dishes so we got the gnocchi Pepe. An excellent use of Cacio Pepe with soft gnocchi. Wonderful and comforting dish. We also got the limon bucatini with a slight chili pepper kick, garlic and breadcrumbs. It was all perfectly balanced. They use fresh pasta so their pasta dishes are a must get. Everything was absolutely perfect and so, so good. They serve beer and wine and have an interesting offering. I was happy to see a lot of imported wines. We decided on a cab franc that was perfect with everything we ordered. This place does an amazing take out business, but there are probably 15 tables to accommodate dining in. Service is excellent! The ambiance is super casual and not fussy. Prices are very reasonable considering the portion sizes. It's a blessing and curse this place is so far from where I live, but we will 100% come back and not just next time we go the Forum. This is a destination worthy trek from the valley for us.

Ray B.

Yelp
This charming Italian restaurant is located in the Inglewood hood. They offer a simple, stress-free ambiance with the food to match. All the pasta appears to be hand made and the "Sunday Gravy" is delicious. I would love to return. BB

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday dinner here this past weekend and had an absolutely amazing time. Making a reservation was easy, and despite having a large party of 11, we were seated in an area that made it feel like we had our own private space while still being connected to the restaurant's vibrant energy. Ordering at the counter was seamless. We gathered everyone's orders and placed one large order for the table, and they left a running tab open for us so we could add more as we went, which was great for adding more wine. At first, I thought this would be slightly daunting, but it was very easy to just use the notes app to jot down everyone's order vs having everyone order by themselves, which we had initially planned for. Designating one person to pay and settling the bill as a group after dinner worked out perfectly for us. Our meal included a variety of dishes, all of which were fantastic. Some highlights include the Caesar salad, which is always a must, and the cheesy garlic bread (though I recommend not adding sauce if you're also ordering meatballs or mozzarella sticks, as those items come with sauce). We also got a few of the same dishes, like the Ragu and Crab Mafalda, both with and without Calabrian chili, to see what we preferred. You can't go wrong either way unless you don't like spice. Overall, the combination of delicious food, a great atmosphere, and efficient service made for a memorable evening. We'll definitely be back! We were too busy having a good time to take pictures of the food but here's a fun photo of the table.

Yelp
Casual, Italian spot. Came here for dinner with four friends and shared dishes. We split some cheesy garlic bread for an app, and got the lasagna, the pasta alla vodka, and the amaritriciana. The pasta was cooked al dente and were all tasty. My particular favorite was the lasagna. We also got the Caesar, which was well dressed and came with a lot of crunchies. There are some vegetarian options available. For dessert, we had the bread pudding, which is very sweet and though small, still good for sharing. Credit cards accepted. You have to go up to the counter to order and you'll have a tab opened. There is free parking at the restaurant. Indoor and outdoor dining available. The reason for four stars was that fact that there was a mishap with making my reservation. They won't accept reservations on their website or via email, it's just phone call. I originally called in the morning with a request to make a reservation at 7:15, and then called again at lunch time to push it back to 8:15. Unfortunately, when I checked in for my time, they did not take down my reservation. They told me that they had tried calling me earlier that evening, but my call log did not show an incoming call from the restaurant. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the next available table.

Yelp
I tried Sunday Gravy during a recent trip to LA and man was a I impressed. First off, the spot doesn't really seem like a sit down pasta restaurant. The vibe from outside seems like a converted drive thru joint. Once you're inside and seated it shifts a bit. The servers were super friendly and it feels like a cozy joint. On to the food. We ended up splitting the shrimp fettuccine, short rib ragu, and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were perfectly crispy with a nice flavor. I also really enjoyed the shrimp pasta. A rich sauce and perfectly cooked shrimp. The star of the show was definitely the short rib ragu however. Excellent flavor, complex sauce, and good mix of meat/sauce. A 10/10 dish and frankly some of the best pasta I think I've ever had. I will definitely return to Sunday Gravy during my next LA trip.

Yelp
Ambiance was super nice! Food was great as well, got the meatballs, Brussel sprouts, a limone with shrimp, and the Ragú! As expected, parking was a bit difficult but everything else was great! Service was great, multiple people checked up on us multiple times Will be back!

Yelp
This random little building in Inglewood was some of the best italian food I've had in a while, and the prices were actually reasonable for fresh pasta. We LOVED the a limone, lasagne, and alla vodka, but I want - no, need - to go back and try half the menu. Just make reservations because it's hard to get a table in the evening without one.

Yelp
I was blown away by the quality of the food. I ordered a Ragu, shrimp fra diavolo & and the fried brussels sprouts. The Ragú had creamy and rich tomato sauce and complimented the tender short rib meat. The shrimp pasta was fresh and creamy. The noodles were juicy and soft! The brussels sprouts had a creamy and lemon sauce, they were crisped to perfection too. Service was phenomenal as well. We had great recommendations from the stuff. The interior was lovely, and had lots of natural light. Note that the parking lot is quite limited. You can find some street parking close by too. It is definitely worth coming out!

Yelp
Wow oh wow! Sunday Gravy really brings home the gravy!!! Found this place when looking for best restaurants to eat before attending a concert at the Kia Forum! And wow were the recommendations with it. This place is small but charming. It used to a pizza parlor from the original owner and has turned it into at Italian cafe. Everything we ate was delicious. We tried and split the chicken parm cutlet, Alfredo noodles, garlic bread, and caprese salad. You can tell everything is fresh and more homemade compared to your traditional big chain Italian joints. The service here was great. You do order and pay at the counter, but they are constantly checking in on you, clearing the table. The service was very quick. Will totally be coming back here one day!!!

Yelp
Pretty much self service. We were told to choose any table. We placed our order near the entrance and helped ourself with the water. The food was then brought to our table. Glad we made the trip to Inglewood as the food did not disappoint. We started out with Caesar Salad and Brussels Sprouts. The salad is not traditional & has a little heat while the sprouts have a strong flavor. Both were tasty. For mains, we had Amatriciana and Oyster Mushroom Lasagna. The pasta was al dente with good flavor. The lasagna is a must for mushroom lovers. They did not skimp on mushroom. I would prefer red sauce, but white sauce was better than expected. As mentioned by other Yelpers, the parking lot is teeny & can be challenging to back out of, but we just easily parked on the cross street. All in all, Sunday Gravy is worth checking out.

Yelp
My girls and I went there on a Wednesday night for our weekly dinner date. One of us arrived first and parked directly in front of the restaurant. By the time the other 2 of us arrived there was basically NO street parking anywhere even remotely near. The restaurant closes its parking lot at 4 in order to put tables outside for additional seating. We had a reservation for 6 and when we inquired about parking all we were told is that we could park on the street. Uuumm, where? After parking across the street behind Popeye's and walking back to the restaurant, I was quite frustrated and unhappy. Why were we not warned of the parking situation and how hard it could really be when the reservation was made with a live person? We asked this very question of our server, who listened attentively while the "General Manager Thom" stood nearby ear hustling the exchange. He finally walked up to our table and when we told him of our trouble parking and inquired why we were not simply warned of the horrible parking issue, his answer was to say simply, that making a reservation/eating at their restaurant does not afford us a promise of parking there. Which is not what we wanted. He was very condescending and arrogant to my taste. He made no attempt to smooth things over favorably, and no I was not looking for anything to be comped, maybe just apologizing for our trouble and a consideration that customers should be warned ahead of time because it really is an issue. He mentioned that they did have a valet service at some point and were in the process of trying to secure another, but for now the public is on their own. "Thom" also said that no one had ever complained to him about the parking situation before. Because of the way "Thom" chose to respond to our concern, we ended up leaving and going somewhere else for our dinner. By the way, you are required to leave a deposit when you make the reservation, so again, why not share the parking info at that time? Beware! I don't know if the food is good or not, we never got that far.

Yelp
Fresh food when picked up. Eggplant Parmesan was really good. Right amount of cheese and marinara. The only thing I would say is to please update menu online. I called to initially order mushroom lasgna but unfortunately they don't make it anymore. But I will most definitely be returning.

Yelp
I have passed by Sunday Gravy dozens of times and never knew it was the BEST Italian food in the city! My mom and I went for the first time on the restaurant's 5 year anniversary. The staff were extremely nice and the food was amazing. As we waited on our food I admired the art on the walls and well selected decor. I got the bolognese, garlic bread and Cesar salad and all of it was fantastic, but there are so many other items on the menu I have to try. I will be back soon!

Yelp
This was a small homey restaurant serving friendly, casual Italian food. Pick a table, peruse the menu, then walk back to the counter to order. The water is self-serve and drinks are served in their cans or bottles. The food is delivered to your table and pretty quickly too, I might add. I sampled the ragu, lasagna, and the meatball sub. Solid 4.0 in terms of quality of the food. Ragu: the pasta was a good al dente and the beef short rib was moist and flavorful. Was told this was one of their most popular entrees. Lasagna: I actually preferred this over the ragu. It was a good balance of cheese and sauce. It was baked just right with enough crisp without being dry. Meatball sub: lots of meat, and I particularly like the bread, very similar to vietnamese banh mi. Beware the parking here is very limited and the drive space is very narrow, not wide enough to even make a U-turn out of the lot. You have to reverse out of the lot onto the street.

Yelp
I had an amazing solo early dinner here. I ordered two local IPAs and the Crab Mafalda. They ended up giving me a free arugula salad because I had to wait a bit for my entrée. I wanted to add cucumber to it and they obliged although they do not usually do that. Loved it. Now to tell yall about this Crab Mafalda. It was creamy yet lemony. Which I didn't know could be so good! Fantastic. Real crab claw, not that imitation stuff. There was a good bit of crab in the dish. So much that I could grab a forkful of it in the sauce alone. Service was on point, even during a shift change. 10/10 will come again.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience at Sunday Gravy! When we arrived, there was a 30-minute wait for a table, and we were really hungry--almost considered leaving. But the incredibly welcoming hostesses offered us a cozy table outside next to a heater, which was perfect. They got our food out to us immediately, and we ordered the lasagna, which was exceptional! Our server and hostess were just as fantastic as the food. The GM personally brought our food out, which was a nice touch. The music added to the great vibe, and we were so impressed that we ended up buying our server and hostess lasagna to try because it was just that good. Five stars all the way--the bathroom was also clean, which is always a bonus! Highly recommend Sunday Gravy!

Yelp
Delicious, small neighborhood casual dining Italian restaurant that specializes in simple Italian classics. As a name suggests, this is one of the type of restaurants that specialize in red sauce - while you most likely won't find anything groundbreaking or too experimental, what you get here is great food at great prices in an atmosphere that feels open and inviting to all walks of life in the Los Angeles area. Service model is you come in and get seated. When you're ready to order, you go up to the counter and order and they bring your food to you. We got the Ragu pasta and the lasagna al forno. I love ordering the lasagna when I hit up new Italian spots like this. And it did not disappoint here. The lasagna was well-made with its caramelized cheese edges. Just a Hardy meal all around with delicious red sauce. The Ragu was also delicious with perfectly cooked al dente pasta and a tasty meat sauce. I love places like this and it's a great value proposition for the quality of food you get. Very family friendly and/or for small groups. I would suggest parking on the street. The lot is angled kind of like a one way road so if you wanna get out, you have to reverse back out onto the street. That might not bother most people but I just prefer not to back out onto the street like that.

Yelp
Homey Italian spot with really good food! Def recommend coming with a few friends and doing shared plates. I'd heard of the pastas being amazing, but my favorite dishes were actually the meatballs and the chicken parm. The Caesar was delicious as well. The pastas are definitely al dente, a bit too much so for my taste, but still solid dishes. Don't skip the bread pudding Reservations are available by phone and service was friendly and efficient.

Yelp
I had the lemon pasta and it was delicious. My mom had the shrimp and grits and they were delicious too. Loved the vibe, music and service! Six people came to our table throughout our evening. We had just come from our Aunts funeral and it was an excellent way to end our day out with this wonderful experience! Thank you!!

Yelp
Wow wow wow. A true hidden gem. The food is amazing. Everything made fresh and in house. Full of flavor and generous portions for the price, especially when you compare it to other Italian restaurants. Highly recommend the Caesar salad. It's a unique yet delicious twist. The pastas were also very good. You can tell the pastas are made in-house. Atmosphere is nice. It's a pretty small place with limited tables and parking spots so make a reservation or go during off peak hours!! The service was fast. You order at the counter and grab a table after that. Water is a DIY station. Nothing fancy but it works great. A must try. Will be back to try other dishes.

Yelp
We ordered the a la vodka with meatballs and the bucatini a limone. The vodka sauce was had a nice kick to it and didn't get lost in the cream, and the bucatini was very unique tasting in terms of texture and definitely spicy! We also tried the garlic butter shrimp and it was sooooo delicious and went well with both the al la vodka and bucatini a limone (helped combat the spice with the insanely tasty garlic butter). I was impressed with how al dente the noodles were. The service was exemplary and we had a nice time! Bathrooms were clean, and we were offered gelato since there was a bit of a wait for our food. I recommend saving some room for dessert as well! Music selection was groovy on a Sunday morning. Parking is easy when it's not busy, but try to park on the street since the parking lot is very narrow and L-shaped - you would most likely need to reverse out onto the street.

Yelp
This was our first time here and we really enjoyed the food. The prices were also great! It was relatively busy for dinner but we only waited about 30 mins. The parking is relatively small but we didn't have any issues. Overall, service was good and the food was delicious. I would definitely come here again!

Yelp
Very cute aesthetic and decent pricing. The pasta was sadly very mid. The noodles were undercooked and hard. The Vodka pasta was lacking so much flavor. The short rib ragu was pretty good and had the potential to be better if the noodles were cooked. My favorite was the Caesar salad, I recommend ordering this as a side.

Yelp
Best to walk here or take a ride-share. Easier to find parking on the street than in the lot. You can smell how amazing the food is from the moment you step out. Place your order at the counter, and they bring it right to your table. Excellent wine options and wonderful service. Everything was super fresh, honest flavors and I felt like the cooks loved me. The strawberry arugula balsamic salad tasted like pure summer. The cheesy garlic bread is out of this world. The short rib ragu reminded me of when Nona would get fancy, and the cacio e pepe gnocchi was perfectly soft. Portions were ideal, leaving me wanting more but satisfied. Every bite was delightful, and I'm absolutely hooked!

Yelp
I had decent expectations going to Sunday Gravy. They have been getting a lot of great reviews. My family and I had dinner there a couple days ago as we needed a break from the wildfires. We had just lost our home. The restaurant is cozy. Parking sucks, but please do not make the mistake of not going because you spent an extra few minutes parking. The service was great and the food even better. We primarily had their small plates and a couple bowl of pasta. The Ragu was amazing But for me the star of the show was the Brussel sprouts. I could have just had that and their cheesy bread and been satisfied. Lately I have been extremely dissatisfied with the quality of food at restaurants that are getting a lot of hype. Sunday Gravy is worth the drive and your time. Definitely will be back.
