I came in after walking around Marshalls for a while and am so happy I did. First, they seated me right away in a cute high top facing the kitchen. I am treating myself to a “me day” and felt a little awkward coming in by myself. However everyone was so warm and welcoming. Furthermore, they accommodated a small request I made which made my dining experience so nice. I want to give a special shout out to SOFIA for being such a sweetheart. She checked in on me multiple times and even served me a cute little scoop of ice cream at the end of my meal. Servers like her make me want to return again soon especially because I’m a local in the area - literally walking distance. I highly recommend this ramen spot. It’s delicious and they have a great happy hour too! My Lychee martini was chef’s kiss. 👌

Service is always so important in the service sector. Jinya was a great find! Ramen, chicken, Salmon tacos, tempura, eggplant, miso, anyway it’s All good (Delicious) ! Came here for happy hour and the this place does not disappoint!! Definitely recommended! And a shout out to the server Giselle who was professional, pleasant and knowledgeable about the offerings of this excellent restaurant.

Kristen was amazing! This was my first time trying authentic ramen and she made it so easy and fun. She made suggestions and helped guide us all with a smile! I see she will go far in her career and life. Food was amazing as well of course.

sophia was helpful with recommending food and drinks on the menu since it was my first time. she was super attentive to my requests and came by multiple times to ensure i was pleased with the food and drinks. this restaurant atmosphere is nice, but customer service from sophia was top notched!

The absolute GO TO spot for ramen. Our waitress, Giselle, was perfection. She was patient, kind, helpful and very good at reading a table by giving me and my friend our space to have a conversation but also checked in at the perfect times. I got the tonkotsu black and added bamboo shoots. I highly recommend adding bamboo shoots. The ones here are big and so yummy. We also got the spicy garlic edamame which is another must have. Every piece had the best ratio of edamame to garlic. Mm so good. What a great time!

I mean... it's good, but our server really did NOT care to be there or do standard server duties, i.e., check in with us mid-meal to see if needed anything. He also took a tray with water and turned around quickly, and ended up spraying water on our table and the table next to us. Lastly, when he went to refill our water before giving us the check, he spilled water and ice on the table and literally didn't say anything or acknowledge it-- listen it's not a big deal, but you could at least say "sorry" or acknowledge that that was an accident. I know there's plenty of ramen shops around LA that have better ramen and service. There was another server that seemed to really care about her tables though-- so, my experience could just be isolated to this specific server I had.

Great service. Cynthia was super attentive and kind. Five stars for them! I really wanted to love this place but I'm not sure I would return again. They have great lunch specials but the ramen was quite mid in my book. Broth was a bit salty and not as flavorful. My lunch special came with spicy tuna crispy rice, and I happened to enjoy that way more than my actual ramen, so maybe ramen is just not it here? Ambiance is quite nice for a casual eatery and love how it's located next to Marshall's and Homegoods. Parking is super easy here.

We sat by the window on a rainy day. Enjoyed some absolutely delicious ramen with a side of red ginger. Started with the broccolini and it was perfectly cooked. I love the sauces. I mixed the 3 together and it was the best combo (highly recommend). Service was quick and friendly!

A perfect spot to visit on a cold winter night. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen and it came out piping hot. The servers working here are all really nice too and seem to work well together. I was by myself so got quickly seated at a communal high top table, but if you have a larger party be prepared to wait unless you get lucky. The inside of the restaurant is pretty small and even the patio doesn't have a ton of seating. Overall a great experience and super close to Universal Studios if you're looking for a quick place to dine after a visit.

Great service from Giselle. She was very friendly and helpful and even help me replace my Ramen when I found it to be too spicy. The vibes are very cute, it's a very small location here, but the food is really good. The lycheetinis are excellent as well.

A pretty good place for ramen. I hear the broth is pretty good. I had the pork bowl with rice. The rice bowl was a little dry but had good flavor. The server was very nice and told me about their rewards program which I signed up for but didn't know I had to do something before I left the restaurant. So bummer, no rewards for me. We sat outside which wasn't so bad since the weather was pretty cool. It was nice to be outside but not much of a restaurant vibe. More like a cafe. Parking is above and below ground. Menu prices are moderate.

Always great service and has been consistently prompt to bring out the order. Love this spot and need to make a point to come back for their great happy hour deals! The ramen is always flavorful, edamame comes with a great proportion and love how big their menu is, they include a lot of great additions to just ramen. It can get busy and expect a wait on weekend nights or even just dinner hours as it's not the largest space to accommodate but worth it! Heat lamps make outside comfortable and they have a variety of tables and bartop seating.

I ordered at 6:40pm It's 8pm and still haven't made my order. Also I live across the street. Horrible horrible service Do not order from this place - unless you like waiting for 2 hours for NO reason Not a vibe And not okay

I have been come here since it opened. It used to be my favorite in the whole SFV. Let me start by the service was superb. Unfortunately, I got such a stomachache after having the chilled tamtam noodle. It was flavorful. But not exactly chilled. More like almost warm but just got a bit of cold water on top.... My kid had Jinya Original, we switched to thin noodles, just like what they used to make. That was good. It was not too busy at Saturday afternoon. Table was clean.

I've been a regular customer here for a long time, but after this experience, I won't be coming back -- and neither will my friends or family. We had a reservation for a party of seven and were told the wait would be 30 minutes, yet we ended up waiting over two hours to be seated. What made it worse was the complete lack of coordination and communication among the staff. Our table became available, and instead of seating us, they gave it to another group. There was no host--just a couple of servers running around trying to do everything while the kitchen was backed up and DoorDash drivers were crowding the front of the restaurant. It was absolute chaos. If management can't handle in-person guests, they should pause mobile orders until they can catch up. This place clearly suffers from poor leadership and constant staff turnover. Hire a proper host and get your operations together. It's disappointing to see a restaurant with potential fall apart due to such terrible management. You've officially lost seven loyal customers who used to love coming here.

Terrible food, service okay. Worst ramen ever tasted like watery taco broth. Crispy corn like Indian curry. Confusing, awful aftertaste. Never returning.

I love the vibes of this place. It's on the quite side and is a bit dark inside. But there is also patio seating, which I am sure is louder next to the parking lot. Although it was a bit busy with the dinner crowd, we were seated right away and service was easy enough to wave down. The ramen here is good, about average LA pricing. But I also love their salmon bowls. It's got a good diverse menu for everyone. Good place for a date night or a small group.

Parking - There is plenty of space in the garage parking. The spaces are small and tight though. My friend drove their sedan there and it was still hard to get properly within the lines. Inside - They have outdoor and indoor seating. The indoor seating is a bit cramped. I'm not sure if it is a safety hazard to have the tables so close to one another but yeah. Other than that the vibe of the place is nice. Great music and good ambience to hang with friends for food. Seating - To grab a table you go up to the hostess and give them your number. When your table is ready they will notify you through text. I did not have to wait long to be seated. About 15 minutes. The staff were all very nice and the service was fast. Premium Tonkotsu Red - This ramen comes with pork broth, pork chase, green onions, seasoned egg, kikurage (ear wood), seaweed, chili oil, bean sprouts and ramen noodles. You get to choose from a spice level from 0-10. The waitress told us that 3 was considered mild so I got 4. I love eating spicy food so it wasn't that spicy to me. But if you cannot tolerate spicy I would stick between the 1-3 spice level range. The meat was very tender, the vegetables were done just right, and the noodles were firm. The only thing that I was not a fan of was their broth. It was very very salty and oily. I like salt, but it was a bit much for me. I prefer a lighter broth. The overall flavor profile was alright. I would give the ramen a 7 out of 10. Takoyaki - They were very generous with how much sauce they added on the balls. They also made the most perfectly crisp outside and big octopus pieces. This was a 8.5 out of 10 Overall - This was my first time here, but I don't think I will be rushing back. The experience was nice, but I just wasn't a big fan of the ramen.

This is a review of their happy hour. Ambience and staff are very cool and sweet. Prices are great as most things are 6 bucks on the HH menu. A Sapporo and a lychee-tini for 6 bucks each! Bangin'. Off to a good start. The salmon tacos are awesome and I wish we'd just ordered those a few times. The chicken however is sorta mid and is actually a massive portion. Brussels sprouts tempora is rad, spicy tuna crispy rice is standard and good.

Amazing Vega ramen. One of the best ramen I had it. They give chilli oil so you can add depending on your spice level. Spicy chicken ramen was good too and chicken salad is good too. Service is great as we Sat immediately as we reached . The vegan appetizers were fired n same oil As non veg so reducing star here as it its vegan it should be absolutely vegan or you should not add that as vegan. Good part was it was written on menu but would like them to consider the change for vegan people like me. Ambiance had both outdoor and indoor seating and it was good to seat outside in amazing weather

They no longer have hiyashi chuka (cold ramen). They do have cold tan tan men until August 31. The noodle quality is still good, but I'll be candid, I kinda hated the cold tan tan men. I'm giving this place 4 stars because I'm sure their hot ramen is still good due to the fact their noodle quality is good. Plus the sides I got were wonderful. Both the takoyaki and the karaage (fried chicken) were good. Most likely will comeback for the Winter.

I had lunch with my sister here a couple days ago and I had gotten the noodles. I was almost done with it until I noticed something while I was chewing. I have no idea what kind of wrapper or whatever was in my food but thank God I didn't swallow it. I'm an expectant Mother, there should be no reason why I'm trying to nourish myself and almost got choked. I enjoyed the food until this happened.

The most delicious ramen I've ever tasted. I had the Jinya Tonkotsu Black ramen and it was the best! The broth was very well seasoned, not too salty at all. The waiters were very nice and hospitable. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

Not great not horrible. Just mid. Spicy crispy rice stale and mayo overload. The shrimp appetizer was good. Side sauces were cool. The actual ramen was mid.

I had the Birria Ramen, and I must say that I highly recommend it. Our server Nora was by far the best server we could have asked for, with her being super attentive, and giving us great recommendations for the menu. She also told us about the specials and happy hour deals! I definitely recommend this place for the great vibes, good music and perfect atmosphere.

I have passed this seemingly always busy restaurant for many years on my way to Marshall's. Last week while the rest of my party was shopping, I decided to give it a try. A very enthusiastic and warm Kenny welcomed me, and helped with some great suggestions for appetizers. The food was absolutely delicious, especially many amazing vegan options. While returning the following Sunday (10/12), we decided to have dinner there. My experience was extraordinary! Nora was our server and we were fortunate to have her. She provided exceptional service with some great recommendations. Her shift was over and Sofia took over. She was also amazing and continued providing the exceptional service we experienced there. Then, while waiting for the bathroom, Eric and I had a great conversation about how all the staff are not overweight working at a restaurant with such amazing food. Each of the staff I mentioned went above and beyond to make us feel very welcomed and provided exceptional customer service. Each of the six different items we ordered were absolutely delicious. We both stated that the Ramen was the best we had ever experienced. The appetizers, rice dish, salad and cocktails were equally as amazing. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment and we will be returning regularly despite living close to an hour away in Redondo Beach.

JINYA Ramen Bar in Studio City exceeded all expectations! From the food to the service, everything was top-tier. A huge shoutout to our server Giselle she was absolutely amazing! Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, Giselle made our dining experience feel personal and memorable. She checked in at just the right times and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. We ordered the Premium Tonkotsu Red (Level 7 heat so satisfying!), Tonkotsu Original 2010, crispy chicken, edamame, iced green tea, and Sprite. Every single item came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen puts care into every bowl. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, and the service from Giselle really pushed this visit into 5-star territory. Thank you, Giselle, for your outstanding hospitality we'll definitely be back soon!

The recently opened Calver City store was not yet on Yelp, so let me evaluate it here. I went there before the opening, but first of all, don't worry about the parking lot. There is a multi-story parking lot next to it, and if you eat and drink, it will push you for 2 hours. The atmosphere of the store is open and very beautiful. There are many types of non-alcoholic drinks, types of ramen, and side menus, and you can fill your stomach with the volume of ramen. There are many types of ramen toppings. I was surprised that all the clerks were attentive. Please enjoy Japanese-level customer service and Japanese food! There is also takoyaki!
