Seriously delicious ice cream! Innovative flavours, great texture, and homemade cones. There are a few seats inside, but I’d definitely recommend enjoying your treat while strolling along the nearby canal.

Do you queue for ice cream 🍨? I DO NOT. But... Yesterday somebody asked me why I don't leave when I'm not satisfied with a restaurant I visit. And the answer is simple: I'm often not alone. 😅 That's what happened when I visited JJ Hings Ice Cream. I had found it myself on the Internet and I was attracted by their good ratings 🤩 but when I saw the line (10 / 15 people outside) I said NO.... but my wife said YES. 😓 TBH, I didn't only say NO because of the line: I was not convinced by the menu either (they change it all the time): only 5 flavors available and none of them seemed especially appealing to me. 😔 But since we had to stay for my wife I ordered a 2-scoop cone: 🍓 strawberry sorbet and apricot and chamomile sorbet. The strawberry one was the best I ever had. ❤️ The other one was so unusual and very good too. I'm glad I had them. 👏 There, they make the cones in front of you. I found it super cool and, honestly, these cones were the best ones I ever had. 😍 (Since then, I've realized that homemade cones are common in Paris 🗼 nowadays though...). These good sorbets and cone have a price: €4 for 1 scoop, €6 for 2 scoops, €9 for 3 scoops... plus €1 for the cone❗ That's crazy expensive. The products were great but we're still talking about ice cream! 😤 The parlor offers inside sitting options but with no AC and the weather was so hot 🥵 that we couldn't stay inside. Going back to that line. It took us 10 minutes to order. That is not ok. I did it that time because my wife insisted but I really find this crazy. ✋ . . . Quality & taste: 10/10 Quantities: 7/10 Atmosphere: 3/10 Originality: 10/10 Ratio price / quality: 6/10 Service: n/a How I felt afterwards: 8/10

So this is my second first-place-to-eat-icecream-in-paris. Very unordinary flavours. Portions are big, if you sit outside you can smell the freshly cooked cornet. If you like experimental tastes definitely to try

I was finally able to try JJ Hings and wow, the ice cream truly is amazing. I tried the rhubarb rhumble flavour and as a rhubarb lover this one was amazing! I loved the bits and pieces the ice cream has inside and how nicely balanced it was. The cornet cones are freshly made and you can truly taste the difference, so yummy! I will come back for sure.

This is such a great place! First off, you smell the cones being made from a mile away (figure of speech but its smells banging in line). Yes, there is a line, but all for good reason! They had 6 flavors when I went and I chose carrot cake and the nut based flavors and it didn’t disappoint, the flavors were there and in full force. They had some other options like ice cream in a bun which I have not tried but looked great + not far from the canal so take your ice cream, stroll down 1 minute, and enjoy your ice cream over the water!

Julia’s ice cream is creative and tasty, I’d say the best in Paris. Don’t be intimidated by the long queue, the staff is doing a great job and things move fast. Anyways, it’s totally worth waiting.

Best ice cream in Paris! I love that they make their own cones instead of using the cardboard ones. HIGHLY recommend & standing in line was very worth it!

We visited on the day they changed their hours from summer to winter, and thankfully managed to get there with five minutes to closing time! It was our last night in Paris and this was a place we hadn’t wanted to miss. We ordered a Chocolate Chai Ice Cream Sandwich and a two scoop tub with Pumpkin and Chocolate Chai. The ice cream was creamy and the flavours were full of depth, and the scoops were generous. The chocolate on the ice cream sandwich was rich, and obviously a bit messy so make sure to pick up a few napkins or take some wipes! Would recommend and would love to try some more flavours if I’m ever back in Paris!
