JJ Hings Ice Cream

We visited on the day they changed their hours from summer to winter, and thankfully managed to get there with five minutes to closing time! It was our last night in Paris and this was a place we hadn’t wanted to miss. We ordered a Chocolate Chai Ice Cream Sandwich and a two scoop tub with Pumpkin and Chocolate Chai. The ice cream was creamy and the flavours were full of depth, and the scoops were generous. The chocolate on the ice cream sandwich was rich, and obviously a bit messy so make sure to pick up a few napkins or take some wipes! Would recommend and would love to try some more flavours if I’m ever back in Paris!

Finding this place was a pleasant surprise. If you're tired of the plain booring flavors of ice-cream then you need to try this place. Their flavors are soo unique and delicious, it's like an entire new experience. If you love ice-cream then you will love here. Just give it a try and you'll see.

Great ice cream! You have lots of options for ice cream in this area, but few will be as good as JJ Hings. All smaller batch and artisan in nature. Packed with flavor. Both of mine - a sorbet and an ice cream - were delicious. Two scoops in a cone was perfect. My wife had a float and thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend a stop here as you stroll the canal.

We were looking forward to having icecream here and it was worth the wait! Absolutely loved the holly frolley donut and pretzel peanut icecream combo! Such a cozy place with handdrawn menus and amazing desserts! 😊

Amazing ice cream. My sister & I were looking for a desserts place around Canal Saint Martin and randomly saw this place which is quite hidden. They have unusual but amazing ice cream flavors that I 100% recommend.

These are incredibly creative and delicious ice creams!! I died for the corn soft serve 🥰. Went in for soft serve and ended up also Ordering an ice cream sandwich and a milkshake 🤣. The flavors are inventive and fun, no boring vanilla or simple chocolate… the servers were also helpful with their advice! Will definitely come back!

One of the best ice creams I’ve had in my life. So insanely good. The canal is 2 mins away so it’s great to go there to eat. Always different flavours and the staff is so caring. Sometimes there’s a queue but for good reason

Very, very special; if you appreciate ice cream as a genuine artistic epicurean adventure and not just an afterthought, you must visit this shop. Fun, boundary-pushing, dense with flavour and texture, unexpected. A brilliant treat!
