Where To Drink Wine In Woodinville

"If your Woodinville adventure is less about wine and more about just hanging outside, JM Cellars is your spot. Their forest-like grounds are covered in trees and lounge chairs, and you can even play lawn games in a grassy area. The staff is also very accommodating should you roll in with a massive group and forget to make a reservation. (But maybe don't do that.) Though the wines here aren’t spectacular, it’s worth a trip if only to exist underneath some leaves with a bottle of Bramble Bump White in all of its stainless steel-fermented glory." - aimee rizzo

JM Cellars Review - Woodinville - Seattle - The Infatuation

"If going to Woodinville for you is less about wine and more about spending time outside, JM Cellars is your spot. Their grounds are covered in trees, lounge chairs, and you can even play lawn games in a grassy area. The staff is also very accommodating should you roll in with a massive group and forget to make a reservation. Though we’re not saying that you should do that. The wines here aren’t spectacular, but it’s worth it to buy a bottle of the Bramble Bump and hang out underneath some leaves." - Aimee Rizzo

The JM Cellars property is beautiful, with enough natural shade from the trees that you could sit outside even on a very warm day. The overall experience from making the reservation to the parking, to the wine tasting experience was excellent. My reservation was for 1.5 hours so I definitely didn't feel rushed; I got to enjoy my time and wander through the facility and the property while I was there. The wine was very good and I ended up purchasing a bottle of their Viognier.

JM Cellars is one of those places that instantly makes you feel at home. It’s beautifully designed with thoughtful details, but still feels relaxed and welcoming. As a wedding photographer, I can't recommend the venue enough! Surrounded by nature, the space has a quiet charm that draws you in and makes you want to stay awhile. The team is kind, grounded, and truly passionate about what they do. It’s a super special gem!!!

Google
Wonderful location and feels so cozy and comfortable. The staff was absolutely impeccable and knew everything about the wines. I have been to some tasting rooms where they say all wines are good that's why we have them here. To this place where they know exactly what the notes are like, can describe them and you can assess if that's your type or not and taste it! If you are in the wine business, learn it from these guys!

The venue offers a perfect blend of classic sophistication and modern amenities, making it an ideal setting for a memorable celebration. The venue itself is breathtaking, with beautifully landscaped grounds, picturesque views, and versatile indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. The ambiance was perfect, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that our guests are still raving about.

We happened to stop by here on our way to another winery. And even though they prefer reservations, they allowed us to come in. Our hostess was Georgia, highly recommended her and the wines were lovely! We'll definitely stop in again when in the area. Ask for Georgia! Get the little bites too!

We held our August 2024 wedding and JM Cellars and were so so happy with our experience. From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds we knew no other venue would compare. There is a reason why JM is one of the top venues in the area. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and has that quintessential PNW vibe, upscale and effortlessly elegant while also feeling laid back. Despite the august weather taking a turn to rain and having to host our event indoors, which was not what we planned, the event was so lovely. EVERY SINGLE VENDOR. We contacted praised JM and said they were one of, if not their absolute favorite venues to work with. They have a great reputation in the greater seattle wedding industry, which made the planning process that much easier for us. Leslie was so great to work with as our venue coordinator. Obviously, wedding planning can be overwhelming and stressful, but every interaction we had with Leslie, from walkthroughs and even via email, put our worries at ease and made us feel like we were in good hands. With JMs strict policies regarding preferred vendors, she already had a great working relationship with our planner which made everything run so smooth. We would recommend this venue whole heartedly to any couple, and cannot thank the employees and owners of JM Cellars enough for hosting our wedding. Pro’s - Included furniture and decor: all of the furniture and decor we used comes included, and fits the style of the venue and the space perfectly. To rent the same quality furniture at another venue would cost thousands of dollars, which made it worth the cost and hassle - Strict rules/preferred vendor lists: at first we thought this was a con, but very quickly into the planning process we realized this was a MAJOR PLUS. JM is very particular about their vendors and provided small, preferred vendors lists for catering and planning services, with recommendations for other vendors. The vendors they recommend are top tier, and offer competitive pricing. It made the planning process run extremely smooth and streamlined because they know the venue so well. - The loft space is fantastic. The bridal suite and getting ready area is perfect for bride/bridesmaids. Our HMUA brought in extra lighting, but otherwise it was well equipped. The pool table room/groom/groomsmen hangout looked great in photos. The full kitchen and living space was great for our catered lunch and beverages. Such a comfortable getting ready space. Con’s - parking is a bit tricky, particularly for the bridal party and family before the event. JM has taken great measures to improve this for guests with included valet. This was truly the only “con” of the venue, but all of our guests emphasized it was a non issue!

Just WOW! Had such an amazing experience here. The grounds are so beautiful and the rainy January weather gave off the vibe of drinking wine in the middle of a forest. We celebrated a birthday and the staff had this cute birthday sign for our table (I made a note about the birthday when making the reservation). The staff was friendly, on point, always around when you needed them and refrained from interrupting if you were in the middle of the conversation. The wines were great and I love that they waive the tasting fee if you purchase a bottle. My group even got to meet one of the owners/wine maker, John. He was super sweet, down to earth and happily chatted with us. He was working in the front yard when I was taking a video of the grounds, and I just find it so sweet and endearing that he loves his place so much. You definitely need to make a reservation, but it’s totally worth the wait. I can’t wait to visit in the summer. I’ll definitely be back, and I’m going to try and find some friends to split the wine club membership!

JM Cellars is the perfect wedding venue for couples looking for a beautiful, intimate space with both indoor and outdoor options. Leslie and her team were fantastic to work with in the lead up to the wedding, and on the big day, everything felt very organized and coordinated. We had beautiful weather and the space was magical -- our guests loved it and so did we. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We had family visiting from out of town, and I had heard great things about JM Cellars for wine tasting, so I booked it around Thanksgiving. First of all, what a beautiful space--very cozy outside with the firepits (it was too cold for us to use ), but the indoor space was spacious and had multiple rooms with very tasteful holiday decorations. We didn't get to explore too much outside, but we were told of its uniqueness. Our server was informative, high energy, and checked on us a lot. We were able to try their charcuterie platter and truffle popcorn to snack on. Wines were tasty and we were able to bring some home, although we were not able to partake in the big holiday savings. I believe this tasting room is usually reserved for its wine club members, but there are occasional openings to the public. As mentioned in other reviews, they do not have a lot of parking so you'll have to carpool with your party. It seems well executed in the parking lot area, however, we accidentally parked at the bottom of the hill (maybe staff parking) and had a short hike up to the tasting room. A little stressful coming down after the tasting in the dark, but it made for a fun adventure. We'll definitely be back when it's warmer out!

Yelp
We made last minute plans to head to Woodinville from Seattle. We texted on our way up to see if we could make a tasting appointment. They were super gracious and accommodated us on short notice. We were greeted with a tasting of wine and friendly welcome. We did a white and red tasting and had the charcuterie board and truffle fries. It is a gorgeous setting which was even more perfect with the changing leaves. We had a wonderful experience and will certainly add this to our list of favorites.

Yelp
We came by for a tasting without a reservation and they were so friendly and accommodating. The exterior tasting area is like a dream, so peaceful, lush, and it's hard to believe that you're right outside Seattle. Laura was our server and she was wonderful - funny and very knowledgeable about all of the wines. We went home with 4 bottles and easily would have purchased more if we weren't on a cross-country road trip from MA with limited space in our van!

Yelp
I came here a few weekends ago and absolutely loved it. JM Cellars is stunning! As soon as I stepped onto the property, I felt like I was transported to a secluded forest retreat. The earthy decor blends in with the beauty & lush greenery that makes up Woodinville. The wines are rich & smooth and the staff is fabulous- big shoutout to Becky! :) Parking is pretty limited so you will need a reservation, but they have valet staff to greet you as soon as you come up the hill. Can't wait to come back soon and bring some of my friends!

Yelp
Beautiful Wedding venue but poor air conditioning inside, lack of fans, poor lighting which greatly affected the wedding party day of activities. Also the lead at JM, Leslie lacks in the friendly dept. Day of she was down right rude and unfriendly.

Yelp
Had an incredible time at JM Cellars today. Had the cutest server, Amy, who was so knowledgeable about the wines and the history of the winery. She even gave us a side by side tasting of JM's Syrahs so we could learn more about the wines. Couldn't ask for better wines or a better tasting experience. If I ever get married again, I'm getting married at this beautiful location!!

Cecilia S.

Yelp
This place has good wines at a fair price with very friendly staff and an amazing grounds. Set in 7 acres of native vegetation, it has a very elegant but low key ambiance. The property and wine reflects the owners and the staff. Absolutely worth the try!

Yelp
JM is my favorite winery. Every few weeks I make a reservation and show up with a small handful of friends. The service is excellent, the setting is classy yet comfortable and the wines are excellent. 90 minutes for tastings. Very limited parking so 1 car per your party. They do have a few snacks but no real "meal" so don't come hungry. Join the club! Hope to see you at a private club event!!

Yelp
So happy we were able to experience this beautiful winery by walking in. Unable to do a tasting, but we purchased a bottle to enjoy outside. The Syrah was fabulous as to be expected in WA. This parking / valet situation is a little frustrating here and you do feel some pretentious vibes from clientele and service. Overall, will be back and enjoyed the wine and beauty of the wine room.

Yelp
Loved this place! You must have a reservation even for your car because parking is limited. We arrived early and it was fast. We decided to have our flight outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us with a warmer and explained well every wine. We also ordered a cheese plate which was delicious. I devoured it. Great mix of sweetness and wine. We had the white and red flights. The white has 2 whites in the beginning and then it switches to reds. All of them were pretty good. I usually have a hard time with reds but these had no tannins that affected me. Of course flavour of last red wines was denser -for me-. Love legs of syrah. Afterwards, we took a trail to a near pond. The sunlight helped pop the green around.

Yelp
The wine is great. Good pricing. The server Karen was personable knowledgeable and very efficient. I hope management reads these reviews and compliment employees like Karen for their good work

Yelp
Had a group of 40 people. The most beautiful winery in Woodinville. Indoor/outdoor spaces are classy and open. Great event planning staff and day-of. Made it easy to work with outside food vendors. Just wish the lawn games were more accessible from the main space.

Yelp
First time here yesterday with a group of 8. One of the most beautiful grounds I've seen. Our server, Alicia was the best. Very knowledgeable and friendly and great sense of humor when we would make jokes with her. Great wines not one bad one in the tastings

Yelp
Wow, this place truly is a hidden gem. I have driven past the wooded entrance probably like a million times to get to the other wine tasting rooms. It's a beautiful venue which can host small events too. The pictures I browsed online does this place no justice at all. We didn't get to explore the property while we were there but I'm definitely coming back. I came for wine tasting and as a very rare occurrence I ended up with a bottle of the 2020 chardonnay. I've never been a fan of chardonnays, but I still make it a point to try it whenever I get to just to see if there is one that would make me feel differently, and today that happened. JM Cellars is one of the venues participating in the 2022 Woodinville Wine Passport. I liked that they didn't have restrictions on when you can use it. It made my decision to check it out very easy and I'm so glad because now it's on my list of top wines/wineries to recommend to others now.

Yelp
JM Cellars is a beautiful place to drink wine and have a great time in gorgeous surroundings. However, the wines poured were not in "my style," too fruity with little body. The experience seemed less about the wine and more about having a drink in a "romantica" spot. However, I used to be a wine guy for restaurants decades ago, and I came to Woodinville to learn about and taste great Washington wines, not just to have a good time. The people pouring were hired for their gracious demeanor, not for their knowledge of the wines. The wines we tasted were explained on an accessible app. Hey, I get enough of the impersonal computer world in Seattle. Drinking and enjoying wine should be all about people, exchanging ideas with good joy and laughter. I don't want to stare at my phone while tasting good wines. Maybe it was caution in this time of Covid. If so, I get it, but I still thought little of the wines poured. Yet, we had a nice time and everyone at the tables around us were enjoying themselves. Most people "just want to have fun," and don't take vino as seriously as I do. JM provides a gorgeous place to get that buzz on. Enjoy.

Yelp
What a cool place!! We sat out back near the gas fire pit, which was surrounded by Adirondack chairs, to enjoy the tasting. It was a pick-up day, so very busy. Definitely dog and kid friendly. They have a nice mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. There were 4-5 tastings, geez...I lost track, all of which I enjoyed. The outdoor space feels really close to nature, lots of greenery, huge mossy trees. The atmosphere was casual and trendy. Loved the fire pits. They have a wood fire put out front too, both good for crisp sunny days. A hidden gem!!
google avatar

Yelp
The ambiance of this place is on point. It's cozy and has great inside and outdoor areas. In particular, the outside areas are nice for drinking/tasting in several areas, there's a fire pit, and there's also a short (5 min?) walking path to a little pond. The tasting was okiedokie. The tasting we had was their standard and it was a lot of different red blends. I didn't fall in love w any particular wine I tried but I still have to give it up for the beautiful and comfortable space. We also shared a cheese platter and crackers. I believe parking was valet only but free (but of course we tipped our valet). There's only one gender neutral bathroom that we were aware of.

Yelp
Lovely winery, hidden in Woodinville. The gal pals and I planned a wine day and JM Cellars was where we started. For a group of eight of us we made reservations ahead of time where we had our own table in one of the semi-private rooms. There was only one other large party in the room we were in. For large groups or celebrations I'd highly recommend making a reservation, as the experience is much better than just showing up and being in the central part of the winery. It gets crowded on a Saturday, so the more secluded area we were in was particularly nice. It's a $20 wine tasting fee, where we tasted five different wines. Wine was solid. It's not my favorite wine, but I enjoyed what I tasted. I naturally gravitate towards red wines and much was the case here, as I thought the cabernet sauvignon was the best. The entire space was just beautiful. I love the different private tasting rooms, the outdoor patio and even the maze within the building that I discovered when trying to find a bathroom, because it feels like a large house instead of a winery. JM Cellars is not visible while in Woodinville, as it's up a hill that's off the main drag, so it's nice that they have valet parking here. I'm glad my friends and I began our wine day here, making it a great start to a fun-filled day.

Kai H.

Yelp
Such a wonderful job or providing an intimate setting for wine tasting. Really great experience with wine we loved.
google avatar

Bill B.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds for the tasting room, great service, and delicious wines. Limited parking is probably a mixed blessing, as it limits the crowds.
google avatar

Leighanna K.

Yelp
I love this winery - it's adorable and has so many great spaces to gather. I wish it were a tad less busy, so the hours were more reliable when there are special events. They only have valet parking, so that's also a factor in being able to get here. The wines are very decent, and they now have cheese plates. It's also on the Woodinville wine passport if you're a member!
google avatar

Stephanie E.

Yelp
JM Cellars is one of the nicest wineries in Woodinville, in my opinion. The grounds are beautiful. In the summer you can play games outside while enjoying your wine. They let you come and go for the tasting. Get a pour, walk aroynd, enjoy your surroundings, and come back for the next pour. Winery owner is very friendly and often takes groups on a spur of the moment tour. We come here every time we visit!
google avatar

Athene D.

Yelp
This place is so beautiful. You are treated well when you come here. First they have valet parking since the spot are tricky to get into. Then when you walk in it feels like home (because it is a home). It's cozy with tons of fireplaces. The staff are wonderful, so sweet, and are knowledgeable. Plus they are not pushy with the wine or the wine club like some other places. I think they have one of the best wine club deals. Anyway, when you go to taste each wine, they have a card and you can see how long you can keep it as well as what vineyard it came from. It's just truly one of the best wineries in Woodenville. A must visit! But please remember to check their business hours. I know that's one of the hardest things for wineries in Woodenville.
google avatar

NatalieRuth P.

Yelp
Great wine selection. The price and variety is great. There is a red only tasting or a red/white tasting. Good customer service. I wish I was told more about the wine themselves instead of reading about them from a QR code. The parking there is slim. When you make reservations they only allow one vehicle for one reservation. The attendant there is very friendly.
google avatar

Michael J.

Yelp
I'm not sure why pets/dogs are allowed at wineries especially indoors. I have a dog allergy and that makes wine tasting tough if the table next to you has their Shih Tzu next to you in a gym bag. I like pets but does everyone have to bring them everywhere?? I think pets should remain outside
google avatar

Ali L.

Yelp
JM has a great setup! It is a popular spot on the weekends and parking can be tricky. It isn't in an easily walkable location as it is higher up on the hill than other tasting rooms. But the atmosphere is wonderful and the wine is great! There is a beautiful outdoor area where you can enjoy your wine with plenty of seating especially on sunny days. There are also walking trails around the property!
google avatar

Drew H.

Yelp
The best wine ever!! Between Bramble bump and the Maltby location great service, great wine and would recommend if you're visiting the Woodinville area as the number one wine in my personal opinion. Definitely not a wine expert, but I love the red and the location of each of their tasting room
google avatar

Yelp
Tucked back about a half mile up a hill from Woodinville Whiskey, JM Cellars is a serene and scenic little tasting room with a PNW charm that can't be matched by many others. JM was purchased as a house that was then converted into a beautiful tasting room property. Several acres of the space have been turned into an arboretum, so wine is enjoyed surrounded by nature or walking on the nature walks through the property. Service was spot on, and covid protocols were strong as a system was in place to ensure servers touched glasses no more than once and plenty of sanitizer was available. The cheese and charcuterie platter hit the spot and paired well with the wine. The wine at JM Cellars was fantastic and we took a few bottles home. Great spot to spend a weekend afternoon with friends or family enjoying great company, great nature, and great wine.

Yelp
Atmosphere: great Staff: mehhh Wine: okay We spent a Saturday in woodinville exploring distilleries, wines and food. The JM Cellars was our last stop of the day (430pm reservations). We were seated promptly (early actually!) which was really nice. We were greeted by a great hostess who walked us to our table. The remainder of our experience was sub-par. We purchased one wine tasting between the two of us and upgraded to their library collection. The staff assigned to our table did not spent any time explaining our wine to us. She was very cold and when our time was coming to an end she came by our table and told us "I know your drinking slowly but I want to remind you of your reservation and you still have one more tasting." At this point it was very obvious that she was not focused on us or providing us an enjoyable tasting experience. The wine was just okay so I'd recommend visiting one of the MANY wineries on the area instead.
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
I've always had a great experience at JM! Reservations are currently required and outdoor seating is under a covered tent and each table has their own heater. Everyone here is so helpful. You are able to wander the walking path and the grounds as long as you keep your mask on.

Yelp
The best winery and a new friend. That new friend I referenced in the title. That's Dee Dee. She is the most warm-hearted wine connoisseur in the state of Washington. We were looking for a just a wine tasting, but we found so much more; wine, laughter & friendship. She made the process of choosing the perfect bottle of wine effortless. Dee-Dee made us feel so welcome it was as if she was welcoming us into her home. All in all, the wine was as cool as a Washington winter and Dee-Dees heart was as warm as the fireplace at JM Cellars.

Yelp
Everything is relative... Wine tasting in Woodinville is completely different from wine tasting in Napa or Temecula. Not only are the wines in all the aforementioned areas tremendously different in quality and variety, but the tasting room experiences are as different as night and day. For those who simply want to get plastered in as few stops as possible, then Woodinville would probably be ranked highest of the three areas I named; the average pour size is generous, and their tasting fees are the most reasonable. Napa would probably be ranked by most as the place with the best quality wines, and Temecula is a good candidate for the place with the worst average tasting room experience - at least in my book ;-) On to the specifics of JM Cellars! This is a small, family-run operation where the wine is grown in Eastern Washington State. Their tasting room is a bit apart from most of the other venues in Woodinville; it's up on a hill in a lovely setting with outdoor seating available both for groups and individuals. The interior of the tasting room is warm and welcoming, and the wines are quite good by Woodinville standards. I recently a friend to Woodinville so she could have her first wine tasting experience. We made six stops that day, and the one that struck her best was JM Cellars. The Sommeliers here were all very pleasant, and one of them really went the extra mile helping my friend understand and appreciate some of the nuances of wine tasting vs. wine drinking. That welcoming helpfulness, along with some really enjoying wine pours, really did the trick for us that day :-) Tip: Of the five pours we received (for a $15 tasting fee), I particularly enjoyed the 2014 Longevity. It's a Bordeaux-style blend featuring grapes from Stillwater Creek Vineyard; I found this complex, rich, full-bodied wine surprising drinkable now, and expect that it will only get better with cellaring. For me, JM Cellars has provided a consistently enjoyable tasting room experience the past few times I've come in. I have no hesitation in recommending that you add it to your short-list of tasting rooms in Woodinville.

Yelp
Excellent wines. Excellent service. Excellent tasting room and grounds. After all the times I have gone to Woodinville it took me "taking a wrong turn" to stumble upon JM. Driving up the pathway I was immediately greeted by a valet parking attendant...say whaaa!? That was awesome. Then immediately followed by the owner's tiny cute chihuahua "Lovey" I think it's name was? Since I too have a Chihuahua mix it immediately tried to make friends. So cute! Huge benefit is they allow dogs on property! The grounds are absolutely stunning. Fire pit, barrel tables and string lights, beautiful tasting room (also an event space), outdoor activities like horseshoe and pathways that lead you to a small waterway and shed with additional secluded seating. How cool! My experience here was nothing short of fantastic and left with a bottle of their delicious Syrah. I will most certainly be back again soon!

Amazing wines. Tranquil setting. Friendly staff. No question, this out of the way Winery is a must visit.

Yelp
One of our faves. Sure wish we could bring a bunch home! Wine club is all reds, whites or mixed: info says average commitment per year is $900 ++ (not including shipping). Unfortunately back to Texas.... . Property is gorgeous ~ used to be a private home, owners were horticulturists, setup for tasting let's you explore & taste at the same time. Tastings in 2018 were $15 for 5. We shared...nice size pours Something is going back w us somehow... at least to the hotel. Hope to return another day!

Yelp
My new wife and I got married on 1/17 and our reception was at JM and we couldn't have been happier. It is a beautiful venue and the wine is great. Amy Keay was our event coordinator and she was just the best and sweetest. Anyone who has a wedding knows that the costs can add up but JM was worth it! Great for a wedding reception of under 100. You could totally get by on just their house decor without adding much and it looks beautiful though our coordinator spruced it up more with decor from our ceremony. Anyway, you won't be disappointed with JM!

Yelp
Such a gorgeous winery. This little tucked away gem feels like a hidden location with all of the lush greenery and landscaping. This was actually my first time doing a wine tasting! It was so much fun and the woman at the bar was so helpful and friendly while explaining how it all worked and what to expect. My fiancé and I got to try I believe it was 6? different wine pours at a great price and all of them were amazing. There isn't an over abundant amount of places to sit but I felt that the seating was appropriate for how many people were there, it didn't feel crowded at all. For seating, there are cute lounge chairs, giant logs, and stools around wine barrels attached to umbrellas for shade. Not to mention the inside is BEAUTIFUL. Filled with glowing tea lights, my favorite. My fiancé and I found a nice little bar style table to stand at next to another barrel. It was cute and charming. We ended up ordering a full size bottle of our favorite wine from the tasting. And the coolest part? If you end up getting a bottle, they put your tasting fee towards the bottle price. Such a nice little perk!! We also ordered a cheese board which was PERFECT. Yummy cheese, crackers, nuts and some preserves that paired perfectly with wine. This place was a dream.

Yelp
Every time I walk into JM Cellars, I think...if I get married again, I want it to be here. :) This place is so beautiful. Hidden in a lush, green hill of Woodinville, off the beaten path of the busy tasting rooms, this is a must-visit if you're looking for a nice place to chill, enjoy a glass of delicious wine in front of a campfire, walk a beautiful path to a valley...or just sit with friends and learn more about the wine from those working there. If you're a club member, you're in for an even more special treat...with a VIP area and room to do a private tasting away from the hustle and bustle. Decor is kind of rustic industrial with the warmest feel of fresh flowers and greenery. Their patio area has plenty of seating and there are a couple of rooms to do tastings. Did I mention free valet parking by the way? Friend gents grab your keys and guide you in the direction of the wine. Oh wait. THE WINE. Do not miss their Petit Verdot. The Bramble Bump is delicious and full-bodied and affordable. I took a liking to the Cinsaut Red and the Nieto on my last visit, but in all honestly...these guys do their wine right. You can't go wrong with anything you choose. I recommend doing this tasting room first since you have to drive there, then park in the district where you'll be continuing. Yelp
We hosted a wedding for 125+ guests at JM Cellars in Woodinville. It's a gorgeous venue. The ceremony was held in the garden/court, the reception outdoors on the patio, guests danced in the tasting room and the Loft/house accommodated the bridal party for their prep. Their onsite décor is lovely; farmhouse tables and Adirondack chairs and a firepit, all set at a mid-century modern house/winery/tasting room. JM's event staff was phenomenal in helping us stage the celebration. It was a magical evening! We highly recommend JM Cellars and hope to book the site again for another celebration

Yelp
Such a beautiful winery and a must see when visiting Woodinville!! The grounds are beautiful: a seven acre property that's also a private arboretum! Love that they have a fire pit and fun wine barrel tables to sit at outside. Inside is decorated beautifully! Their wines are all amazing. Nestled on a hill, this is quite the beautiful escape! Definitely love that they have valet drivers too (make sure to bring cash for a tip for them too!)

Yelp
Lovely facility. Enjoyed our wine tasting experience. Did some hiking inbetween our tastings. Even bought some wine to take with us. Staff knowledgeabke and enjoyable. Well worth the stop. Many vineyards in the area. One of my favorites.

Yelp
What a beautiful environment at JM Cellars. The grounds are lovely! Lots of green foliage and a nice outside sitting area. It was a bit chilly when we showed up and there was a nice fire going in one of the outside areas. The tasting building was aesthetically pleasing also. The wine was delicious and the personnel were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit to this tasting room!

Yelp
Loved their outdoor patio and customer service! The tasting is reasonably priced, and the fee is waived with purchase of a bottle of wine. The experience included tastings of a mixed of 5 red/white wines. If you are a red wine person, you can also choose all red tastings.

Yelp
Easily the best view and atmosphere of any of the wineries I have been to in woodenville; Amazing views into the forest with great outside setting lit up by overhanging lights. The immediate downside is that the parking is pretty hard. It is a one way that constantly has cars going both ways and has very little turn around a. If you want to go here you might need to either pay for a valle or park it in the lower lots and walk.the wine itself is pretty good as well with some pretty nice reds when we went in.

Yelp
JM is a unique space. It feels secluded and natural, very different from the warehouse or more commercial tasting rooms downtown. Great wines, beautiful decor, and very friendly. You could easily spend hours there and not visit any other wineries. We enjoyed bringing our daughter with us and the indoor outdoor space was very accommodating for little ones.

Yelp
As a caterer, I LOVE JM Cellars! Our company, Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes, always love when we get to cater events at JM; the location is gorgeous, the staff know what they're doing and are delightful to work with, and we always have a great time serving guests there. Highly recommend as a venue!
