It’s one of my favourite stores for fabric and stitching work, and to buy supplies from this store even , ‘for not professional in 🧵 sewing, it has a lot of accessories and fun stuff, ‘Even to furnish your living room’ and make new fabric and designs to you and your space of living.. definitely coming back highly recommend it to you ..

I don't come to north Austin ever, but my best friend took me here and l'm glad we made the trip here! The place was spacious and clean. Everything was very easy to find, and the staff was very friendly and helpful! I learned so much while I was there. Everyone was so friendly and inviting. I easily found what I wanted and then some!

I wanted to buy fabric from Joann but they were very strict on the 2 yard rule. I understand buying to yards but I asked the seller if she would cut it in half for religious purposes and she argued with me for 10 minutes that the policy does not allow them to cut fabric in half even though I was more than willing to buy the 2 yards. Do better your job requires it.

I purchased my first beginner yarn kit here, The Wobbles. So I’ve only came here to purchase yarn stuff, could use a bigger selection of natural fiber yarn.

My husband designed and did the wood working to create a dining table topper holder, and I then sanded and upholstered it with a fabric remnant we picked out together at Joann. It turned out great and exactly what we needed. We were trying to match or beat the price of buying one. We bought poplar hobby boards at home Depot at ~$4, the fabric at Joann ~$2 on sale, ~$4 of furniture nonskid feet, and we don't want to count the box of nails because we will use the rest of the nails on other projects, so maybe $0.50 of nails. I'm also not counting staples and staple gun because I had that already. That makes $10.50 and the rack you could buy was like $20. Not bad! :) Glad the fabric remnants were on sale and the texture and color was nice.

Over the last few months I've picked up a ton of new crafty hobbies so I have made SEVERAL stops by my local Joann. There were a lot of nice employees the store was pretty well organized and the yarn selection is immaculate. My standout visit was a few days ago meeting this super nice cashier with cool black and Platinum hair that was so great to talk to. Hope they got their sea monkeys! Thank y'all

Wide variety of choices. I've been to this location a number of times December 2024. First visit was minutes after they opened for the day. I picked dome shirts for some project. I needed more, so on checkout, I asked an elderly lady cashier M(aria?), if they had any more. "What's on the floor is what we have. If we've hot any at the back, they'll be brought out later.". Wow, not too helpful - I'd understand if there were people in queue, but there were none. I'd understand if she was on her last leg of her shift, tired - but it was just 10:30 am. On subsequent visits, there'd be 8+ of us on the checkout queue - one cahsier. No additional ones were requested. When one customer completes her transaction, another one joins the queue - meaning, there are constantly at least 8 people in line. If it weren't close to home, I'd shop elsewhere. Craft store prices are so inflated, such that applying sale discounts make it appear you got an excellent deal. If the items you want are in WM, head straight there. WM prices would be a tad cheaper, even if craft store give you 50% off.

Really good collection of colors if you are looking for fabric paints. One of the clerks were nice to help me find the aisle. Might come back for other craft items in the future!

I am aware that Joann corporate is having issues. But our local store is still the best place for sewing and crafts. Their staff is always so helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. The store had been restocked for Christmas, so I was able to find everything I needed and wanted. The cherry on top was their sale prices!

Ah if only we could pick ZERO stars. Waited an hour to have fabric cut. The tiny ancient woman cutting is slower than molasses and staff stands around and does nothing. I gave up and left. Save yourself. Go anywhere else.

It's really the only place in town to buy fabric, and even though they have a huge selection much of it is outdated. The store is always in a shambles and there are never enough employees to check you out or cut fabric. The last time I was there, the fabric cutter told me that they will not allow more than one person to do the job at a time, and there were probably eight people waiting. Seems silly for a fabric store...

Seriously gone down in quality. Fabric selection no longer caters to high end customers that make own drapes and pillows.

This Joann fabrics is very spacious, clean, well stocked and organized. There's a lot more than just fabrics to be found here. They have Lego sets, children's toys, fake plants, art supplies, spray paint, beads, candles, sewing machines and Cricut machines and materials. And yes, they have every imaginable yarn, fabric, ribbon, pattern and accessory associated with sewing. They even have some sewing machines that you can test out. They are usually very well stocked with seasonal items as well, such as Christmas bells, garland, hats, gift bags and accessories. At the back of the store, they have a custom framing area as well. They do have a very good return policy, but you must have the receipt. So obviously there's a lot more going on here than just fabrics.

I like Joann. I go there often. I feel as though they are always understaffed when I do visit, so much that I have to budget an extra fifteen to thirty minutes each time, even if it's just to pick up an online order. (You have to stand in the regular checkout line to pick up. There is no expedited line.) I prefer to shop online and pick up in store because I can never find the same fabric from their online catalog in the actual store -- I have no idea how they organize all of it. That means I can't get quarter-yard lengths cut, I have to get full yards instead, but at least I'm not hunting down the fabric I thought I saw as available online for forty minutes and getting frustrated. Sign up for coupons and you'll always save when you go!

I have been waiting for over 15 minutes for someone to cut the trim I need. Only one employee is at the counter and is helping another client with a big order. Other employees came and left without helping. When I asked, they said they couldn't help. The line to check out 6 people long. Only one cashier. Taking more than 10 min. This is on a Monday at noon.

Lots of parking but this area is busy so you may have to park kind of far. I typically live going craft shopping, but I couldn't find what I was looking for today which is surprising for Joanns. They do have a large selection of yarn, I also noticed they started building a yarn wall like some of the other stores have. Customer service is pretty much non existent on the floor. I never really see employees walking around to help customers, but checkout was super smooth and the employees up there were really nice.

I really do not think most folks working there enjoy it! 1 out of 5 may have a nice word to say or smile. Craft stores are supposed to be fun!! Folks who cut fabric can't even help convert yards to meters:-( " I don't know" instead of let me check for you! Customer Service should be emphasized by the store.

Good selection, good service. Not many sewing related stores remain in the area, so I am certinly glad this still exists. Please give them your patronage, else we will lose all the hobby shops that existed in our area.

Even if your not a seamstress JoAnns has many other products that's not exclusive to just sewing.

Always a favorite store. They have everything and more. I was looking my for stuff to make uniforms for our luau and in Texas they don't have much so thanks to Joann's fabric and crafts. They have a fabulous selection and they're always friendly helping you.

This used to be one of my favorite stores, but after today I won't be back. I waited for about 30 minutes to have my fabric cut. That wasn't the problem, it was what happened when they finally called my number. I asked the lady cutting my fabric if my item was on sale, she looked at me like I was made of poop. She scowled at all of my questions and finally I made small talk to ease the weirdness and she just hands me my receipt and callously, loudly, yells the next number. The lady who had the next number came up and fabric lady said if you aren't number [x] then you need to get out of here. I was so shocked that she talked to a person that way, I mean she was standing there holding her number. I saw the lady walk directly to her car without buying fabric.

This Joanne's is well stocked with fabrics and sewing gear which I'm mainly interested in. I found quite a few fabrics that I didn't find at another location which was nice. The clearance section also had several nice things, which is my favorite place to look. They seem to have a lot of sales which is nice as well. I was helped immediately at the counter and the ladies seemed nice and happy to be there. Parking was easy and I'd go here early when it opens to have the best experience.

Went in for 1 thing‍ but of course that's never how these things work; especially with 90% off sale lol I saved almost 40 bucks! That's what I tell myself to justify buying more than what I went in to buy lol And whoever took me on register 7 at 10:28:44AM on 7/11/20 was an absolute joy! She was so sweet and perky. I love that kind of service I wish I had gotten her name

Ordered item online over a week ago. They charge my credit card but all I have gotten is an email saying we got your order more information is coming. That is over a week ago there is no way to contact anyone there's no phone number I've entered online chats and sent emails and keep getting the same response that were very busy please allow extra time. In today's day and age a week of an order processing with no contact is not acceptable. At this rate I will not get the gift in time. There is no way to cancel the order even though it hasn't even been sent and they're just not answering the phone or responding to messages. I don't think there's anybody working on the website at all I think it's all deceptive ads just to take your money for a while and they'll never send you anything

This is where I go to donate every last penny I have!!! No seriously, the ladies in the fabric department are always very helpful. And in other departments too, helping me find things. I've been creating felt Christmas ornaments lately and having so much fun! Plus a quilt for my great-nephew!

The lady who works at the embroidery area in this place is a huge monotoned, unfriendly woman. Would not purchase a machine or a class from her. She's rude.

I find myself here more often then one would think. My wife loves this place as she has several projects she does for fun and the selection here as well as the great coupons they have both their and online help ease the cost. The one complaint really is the shortage of people. They have people cutting but there is ALWAYS a line and never enough cashiers. I have seen the line grow almost back to the wall with no new cashiers showing up. Usually at least one does but always after the line is 10 or more people. So of course there is no floor staff. Overall the selection is great and the people working are doing their best, friendly and trying but the company needs to overhaul the customer service so 2 people are not trying to help 20.

Simply put- just don't do it. 150% the worst experience in my life not once but 3 different times. Online customer service is is insane taking over 7days to get a working on request, so not even a human. Their ads lies, if it's a great deal and the price doesn't actually load at the register or online they don't honor the ad - even if it's the exact model picture or whatever that's in their ad! Shady AF I will never shop at JoAnns again, no wonder I've seen so many of them going out of business. Straight trash

This is probably one of the most terrible Joanna in whole country. The service is so bad, I felt like being back to USSR. Did someone purposefully picked the staff? I won't be surprised

Store hours are wrong on here and on Google for Sunday hours. Everywhere online it shows that this place closes at 7pm on Sundays. I walked in at 5:58 on a Sunday to have an employee (tall white brunette dude with glasses) at the entrance rudely ask me "Can I help you?" as I walked in. I said I was just looking and he proceeds to interrupt me to say "We close at 6 on Sundays". I told him "well online it says you guys should be open at this time" and walked out. I needed to get one thing which would have taken two seconds. I hate the cold customer service I get every time I come here. Not worth the trip or the money for the rude service. Corporate needs to update hours online and train their employees better.

Lol do not go here. The workers are rude and you have to hope they decide to help you. You're on their time. If there's a shift change they will drop and leave no matter what line when there's already only 2 people working. Guaranteed 1 hr wait for fabric and attitude to follow! :) Never ever EVER again.

The manager at this location is not customer friendly and very unprofessional. When the store was limiting customers in the store during covid I patiently got in line about 30-40 minutes prior to closing time. When the store reached closing time it was just me and one other person who wanted to make quick purchases in the store and had been waiting 30+ minutes. The manager did not care we had been waiting and told us we had to come back tomorrow. The other person in line with me then got into a shouting match with the manager - it almost broke out into a fist fight. I thought the manager should have handled it better.

Framing Department Zeno is a superlative talent. She used her talent to craft a shadowbox with my father's medals, etc. from WWII. I could go on and on. She is personable. She listens to what you want. She offers many good suggestions. She completes her work with professionalism and integrity. She is also delightful to talk to. I think I AM going on and on. Zeno did a beautiful job and I could not be more please with the result.

VERY irritated! I get an email from Joann's with a great sale. Spent an hour picking out over $200 worth of items. Not til I got to the checkout did I find out 'one or more items in your cart is not available. Please remove the item from your cart. ' Removed the first one, darn. Then a second one. Not until about the 10th item did I figure out 'something's wrong'. I had to remove every item, about 20, then I had nothing left to buy. SHAME on you! Why is 'not available' on the item. What a waste of my time. I USED to shop a lot at Joann's. No more. PS I was looking for material the other day and it said Not Available. So why can't you do it on other items you sell?

Auntie's at it again in the Austin area: Well I'll be.....wow. Everything in Texas IS bigger. Vaster. Beats all the locations in my area volume-wise. The retail space around here is way affordable so I get it. The fabric selection is beyond what I expected. Got the dizzy spell - 'twas overwhelming y'all but in a good way. Though I wish I took pics. That's what I usually do but oh well. Just aisles and aisles of differently textured fabrics. Feel away. I did. However do your bestest to shop during off-peak hours if at all possible. If not, pack your patience and a smile. SisL and I were searching for ideal patterns to create customized identical isolettes for the twins. She's got mad talent in finding the right combination of patterns. Love watching her in action. We easily spent over 1+ hours and it was fun because we came in during off-peak hours. So good luck y'all.

This review did NOT start off as a 5 star, in fact I was writing to voice my issue, but Melanie and Stephanie? (Sorry just forgot her name) put their heads together to come up with a solution to my issues in literally mins. I made a purchase and needed to return on Friday, I returned and was told I couldn't get it in original form of payment for an unknown reason AND when I got to my car I realized I was charged for a return instead of being reimbursed. I looked at second receipt (first was digital) and it says you can get return $ back in form of original payment with a receipt in hand, which I had. I went back inside and was told that manager was new and didn't know how to do said return and address getting $ back in original form of payment. He told me to come back on Monday and asked for my cell so some one could reach out. Never got a call so I went to the store since I had time. Melanie jumped right in asked how she could help abs took on the challenge. It's not often you have employees jump in and try to solve problems, usually we get a "not my job" attitude. Melanie and Stephanie really brainstormed and took care of return AND I was able to get my $ back without a gift card. Thank you Melanie and Stephanie for going above and beyond, it's really a gem to have in any place of employment.

Fabric stores scare me. I'm good at doing a lot of things (most of which I am unable to list on a resume), but if I had to thread a needle to save the world from atomic annihilation, we'd all be nothing but wisps of carbon by the end of it. My uncomfortable relationship with sewing began in 6th grade, where we all were required to take home economics with one semester devoted to cooking, and the other to sewing. The cooking portion was awesome; I was partnered with three cute guys and managed to bake what ended up being the first and last batch of cookies ever created in my life. Peanut butter, at that. And not bad. Sewing was a whole different nightmare. My practice sheets of paper trying to keep a straight line on the machine may as well have been me randomly stabbing it with a sharpened pencil; it was all over the damn place. Needless to say, I couldn't even begin to follow curves or sew with real material. By the end of class #2, I'd decided that sewing machines and anything sewing-machine-adjacent was complete and utter bullshit. My teacher informed us our final project was to sew together a mini duffel bag. Fat chance, lady. Mine was so deformed and beyond repair, the teacher allowed me to take it home and work on it for two extra days. Being Nathan, I demanded my mom take it to our seamstress to complete it for a nominal fee. When I presented a perfectly sewn bag to the teacher, she narrowed her eyes in naked suspicion and asked how the stitching could be so perfect, when for four months I couldn't have sewn a button on a shirt if my life depended on it. I told her I "just got the hang of it one day". I smiled my shit-eating grin, and she reluctantly gave me a 100. Blatant cheating, FTW. Places like JoAnn Fabrics bring all of these traumatizing memories back, and this place was no exception. It's a little strange, because the "craft gene" is so hit or miss in my family; my uncle is an artist, and my aunt can practically shit out an entire house of do-it-yourself projects with little to no effort. And me? Pornographic stick figures is about all I can accomplish. I came here looking for ribbon for Lisa's birthday presents. Her wrapping paper was a pink hounds tooth, so I was thinking a nice Kelly green, a la Lilly Pulitzer. See? I have an eye for putting stuff together and for interior design, I just lack the hand eye coordination to actually do it. I passed by the center of the store, where two ladies were busy sewing some fall-ish looking cornucopia pillow. I found it interesting they were using a computer program to adjust the needle and the design. It's nice to see even ridiculously boring pastimes from the "Little House on The Prairie"-era can now also be married with technology. Fascinating... Ribbon, ribbon. It seems odd I can't find the ribbon in a craft store. I stopped an older woman who was dragging a cart and asked her to point me in the right direction. From her nametag, it said her name was Cindy, and next to it was written "The Workhorse". I found this kind of sad, actually. It may be an inside joke among the staff, but to me it made me think JoAnn Fabrics might be running an extralegal ring of indentured servants or something. Cindy was more than helpful, showing me all three ribbon locations (including thicker outdoor ribbon meant for outdoor pots), and explained which were sold by the yard and which by the spool. I engaged her a little more about stuff I didn't care about, mostly because the task I was distracting her from looked heavy, and I wanted to give "'The Workhorse" a break. She was sweet. And that was my good deed for the month. There was some confusion as to who was next in line, and the way it played out I may have cut in front of some older woman who then gave me the stink eye. Relax, lady. I'm buying one $3 spool of ribbon; you'll be able to pay for your ugly plastic flowers and "Sewing World Monthly" magazine in a matter of seconds. Well, I probably won't be back anytime soon, unless I really do plan on being either Samantha Jones or Maya Rudolph's version of Donatella Versace for Halloween. Even then, I may not need JoAnn Fabrics, as finding size 11 heels and a decent wrap dress is probably best done at Cross Dress for Less down the road.

This Halloween I was, how do you say...over-zealous in my costuming attempts. I was going to make the boy and I into Disney characters, from scratch, because it would a. be fun and b. a lot less expensive than buying costumes (and c. none of the above). Instead, I spent hours at Joann's over several trips, purchasing a pattern, fabric, elastics, pins, thread, scissors, and countless other items that looked cute when placed in a circular fashion about my sewing machine, which I learned to thread and which has easy-to-follow instructions for when you break the needle, which I did almost instantly upon first use. Luckily for me, Joann's notions (sewing essential basics) were 40% off, so it was my time to stock up on sewing-machine-surrounding what's-its. Given all of this unforeseen excitement, you can probably guess I'd be a little peeved about the crazy line I encountered each time I stopped by. This place is ginormous. And I know that they know that Halloween is a crazy little holiday, during which time they sell out of black tulle and white tulle and everything. They should double-staff this place when they know it's going to get hectic. What can we learn from this? If you tally up the time spent on line, and the time and money spent on costumes, you'd understand why I actually tried rubbing the little gold lamp we got for our costumes to see if a genie would appear. I'd have asked him for the effing Jasmine and Aladdin costumes, already-made, someone to clean up the sewing disaster, threads and fabric in the kitchen, and to never again have the idiot idea to make our costumes a day before we need them because "it'll be fun."

I arrived at the store 3 minutes before they opened. It was freezing cold. The manager opened the doors and let me in! Thank you. I completed a long night shift and was tired. He, the manager helped me find exactly what I needed. The checkout was even more smooth. I had a print out of a gift card that I received for Christmas. So, thank you to one and all working early on 12/28/18!

I absolutely love Joann. In my spare time, I am always crafting and my first stop is always joann because they have everything you need and there's always a coupon online as well as friendly and knowledgable staff.

Ruined my Xmas purchase & could not care less! I purchased a frame order for $320+ on 12/3 and was promised a 12/18 delivery date which was ample buffer time for a xmas present. I went to pick up my order on 12/18 and was told it was late but I would have it before Xmas. The very next day I received a vm from the store indicating my order was ready for pick up and it look wonderful. That evening on 12/19 I went to the store and no one was in the framing area, I waited over 10 minutes and 3x I rang the service buzzer button and no one came to help. Finally I got on my cell phone and called the store to get some service. While I was waiting, I had walked around the counter and saw my oversized frame wrapped up with my name on it so I placed it on the counter and unwrapped it. The double matting that I ordered was a single matte and charcoal black instead of the brick orange that I requested. Finally an elderly man walked back indicating he was the manager, and crossly asked what I needed. When I told him I was there to pick up my order he walked behind the counter. My order was on the counter and I explained to him that the order was wrong. He looks at me and literally shrugs his shoulders and says nothing so I proceeded to ask him "What are you going to do about it?" This man could not have cared less. I told him this was needed for a Xmas party gift and without considering any solutions, he flatly states they could not fix it by Christmas. He offered no empathy, apologies or assistance in any way and stated someone would call me tomorrow. The next morning I contacted corporate customer service and unbelievable the rep indicated there is nothing they can do except pass the message along to the district manager with an unknown timeframe for when anyone would get back to me. Unsatisfied I pressed for an expedited resolution and after being put on hold for well over 15 minutes I ultimately told that I could pick up my print and have it framed somewhere else since they would not be able to find a way to frame it before Christmas. The store manager then called me later that morning and told me to come pick up my print, again, no apology for the inconvenience or trouble they caused. Corporate never reached out. I picked up my original print and was refunded the $320 deposit I paid. Joann's lack of interest or desire to remedy this incident which is completely due to their carelessness and ineptitude is inexcusable. Furthermore the rudeness and apathy of the store staff is indefensible. I will never spend another cent in this store and I warn other consumers to take their business to Michael's or elsewhere to get dependable, service and products.

Joann's is the place to go if you need fabric or sewing supplies. Their fabric selection is decent, but I have occasionally had trouble finding what I needed. It's neat that their staff can likely answer your sewing questions, too. Otherwise, Joann's offerings are mediocre. Its craft supply and silk flower selections are passable but not as large as Hobby Lobby's or Michael's, and lower quality. And then Joann's sells all this other home decor stuff that is generally low quality shipped from China type that is very overpriced and then gets marked down. Not my favorite approach. Staff seem to be absent when you need them, except in the sewing section. When you go, make sure you google "Joann's coupon", as there is usually a "40% off one item" coupon online that you can redeem on your phone or printout. And they accept competitors' coupons too.

Tried out their pick up in store option. The cashier in the front was rude and did not want to help at all and -demanded- to see a confirmation email regardless of the fact that the "track my order" online says READY FOR PICKUP. Had to talk to talk a manager and everything was resolved, but that experience with the cashier really left a bad taste in my mouth, she was extremely rude!! Thinking back on it, it seems all the cashiers never have a smile in their face... Giving this a 3 star since Joann is always my favorite store, this one has a really big fabric selections and crafting accessories, which I absolutely love. The location within the Arbor Walk shopping center is also nicely placed, as you can shop and eat all in the same area.

Joann's is a very nice fabric and craft store. They are generous at accepting their own (not limited to one) and competitor's coupons and often have terrific sales. Their selection is vast - I have found many hard to locate items here.

Went to get some fabrics for a project. Found everything I was imagining and more. The lady that cut the fabric for me was so sweet and extremely helpful. I will definitely be going back for almost all my projects.

Craft store heaven.I like how organize everything is.They have plenty and variety collection of arts and crafts.I personally need specific items for my hobby and find this store so much helpful.Yes,they are bit pricey,but they offer different coupons time to time.so keep checking for those coupons,those are very useful.

They treated me like a spoiled brat when I asked to sit down because we had to wait for the manager. I was trying to be polite because my card was declined and I understand that the cashier was annoyed because she had to call the manager and there was a line. But I have scoliosis and a chronic pain condition, so I get tired after walking around. They just got more rude after I asked to sit down.

I should have checked reviews before coming here. Be aware of waiting in line. The woman working the counter is incredibly sweet but this system just does not work

Just wanted to say "Thank You" to store manager, Josh, for saving the day. I placed an online order from Galveston & to pick up at JoAnn off Old Katy Rd., from our way back to Austin. The first thing I did was open my bag of 3 yds. of fabric to find it was cut, 2 yrds & then 1. I was make making pants & needed it in one consecutive piece. The store manager in Houston, Gretchen was not sympathetic at all. She found my fabric at Arbor Walk, but we had to get back into car & head out into weekend Christmas shopping for a 50 mile trip, in addition to 5 hrs from Galveston. Josh had it bagged & waiting for us. He truly saved the day. Pants made today as planned!

Most of the employees here are so rude. Throughout the entire time I was here. What got me the most upset was during the checkout at the fabric by Estella.

I know this place is called Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts, but they should have named it Yarn City or Yarn Barn because this place definitely has all the yarn. I recently, as in the day before yesterday, decided that I was finally going to teach myself how to crochet. I've always wanted to make a Harry Potter scarf and now I will finally have the skills to pull it off. Oh, and I really want to be able to make all those adorable little crochet animals. Basically, I want to make all the cute things. Now, I don't know a whole lot about crochet or knitting, but I feel like this place has everything you could ever want regarding those two hobbies. They basically had all the things, or what I imagine to be all the things. Maybe some other store has even more things? They also had a whole bunch of other things, like baking stuff, frames, and holiday decorations. Funny story - it's only a few days after Christmas and they had decorations out for St. Patrick's Day. Do you think they have those out year round or do you think they were getting ahead of the game? We'll find out the next time I go, which will probably be soon because you can never have too much yarn when crocheting. They seem to offer a lot of coupons, which is awesome because I see myself using them frequently. Gotta collect all that yarn, y'all. Crochet all the things! Ariel, the girl who checked us out, was super friendly and told me that the learn to crochet set I picked up seemed to be pretty good and offered a wide range of crochet needles. Score! Oh, and if you fill out the survey at the end of your receipt, you get a 50% off coupon good for your next visit! Yay!

For noobs like me who've never been in a fabric shop, this is how it works: pick some fabric up that you want to cut, take it to the back counter where you take a number. They will call it, you tell them how much you want and they cut and give you a piece of paper of what you got. Then you shop around some more or go check out. Make sure to bring coupons or google one on your smart phone before check out. I steal How Do You Roll's free wifi and grab some coupons and check out and walk away feeling like I scored an awesome deal! I think I have the shopping habits of a 50 year old woman.

Holly at Joanns was amazing she helped me find excatly what I was looking. Considering I was looking around for about half an hour before running into her. She called me a "guest". Which was different. As someone spoke to her she mentioned she need to "help this guest first". I felt fancy. She really wanted to help everyone. Great experience.

I have never come across such a rude employee!!! I will 100% never go back into that store. I've worked retail before and I would have been immediately reprimanded if I had talked to a customer the way he did. Completely unacceptable. Should have asked for a manager but just wanted to leave.

I love JOANN's!! Now with the CORONAVIRUS if you order online it can take more then 2 days for your order to be ready. Then afterwards probably you are not going to get what you were looking for they are going to be out of stock. Because some people already shop in the store before you. . I really enjoy this location, prior to this location opening there was not a Jo Ann near by and they only craft store options were Hobby Lobby and Michaels. I feel this location is much larger so it can hold more items, and they have good sales too. I've taken a knitting class here and I really enjoyed that as well. I also come here to buy a lot of fabric and they have a great selection of fabric pieces to choose from. The line to get the fabric cut does back up a lot, but they give you a number so you can still browse the store without losing your place in line. There is plenty of parking out front as well.

I love the embroidery floss selection. I accept that most people want stuff way cutesier than I do. If I could afford one of those machines, I'd love to experiment and play. I don't think I've walked out of there for less than $40 because I always find something and something else. That being said, I'm going to have to call them out on their fabric. I sew clothes. Every day skirts and dresses. I don't want organza and satin. I am not making a quilt. I am not sewing for a baby or a child. I don't want to dress up for a wedding and I don't want to wear anything with Hello Kitty on it. And I sure as hell don't want any fleece. Why can't they stock a few cute prints or solids so I can make a couple of skirts? These days, it seems like I have to go to Hancock down south to find anything that's wearable.
