Brissy locals are no strangers to Jocelyn’s Provisions. For almost three decades, the bread heads at this bakery institution have been serving up exactly what the people want – pork and apple sausage rolls, beef and red wine pies, gooey caramel slices and giant ANZAC biscuits. Across their four stores in Albion, Brisbane City, Camp Hill and Fortitude Valley, you’ll also find playful twists on the classic croissant, featuring fillings like char siu pork, spicy dan dan and peking duck. Jocelyn’s is perhaps most famous for its lamingtons, with their fairy bread edition making a special appearance every July for National Lamington Day.
The place looks good in James Street. The cake tastes good, but honestly, the takeaway packaging is not accessible and is not easy to eat. It’s a lot of mess, and the price is above the market, and you can’t find the same quality in different shops.

We ordered the blueberry & lemon cake - it was the perfect take home treat - beautifully made, full of flavour, the icing was zesty & absolutely delicious! The staff were very friendly & professional & they greeted us warmly. It is a very small shop but it packs a mighty punch with both sweet & savoury options, people politely queue which is always a very positive sign. This was our very first experience @ Provisions, we look forward to trying more menu options. You won’t be disppointed.

The Coffee and tea as well as cakes are incredible!
The beans are sourced from environmental and ethical farms. Their decaffeinated coffee has won awards. Talk to Scott the owner and barista, he can advise on choice of coffees and teas. And know so much about how environmentally friendly milk and coffee businesses in Australia. And what products and ingredients they use are all chemical free and environmentally and ethically sourced
So great to see passionate business make a change for the better.
So come on support small business who have you health at heart :)

Usually, I love most of your cakes, with carrot & walnut being my favourite.. but unfortunately, the cake of the day today had a noticeable smell and very strong taste of eggs, which was extremely unpleasant. It affected the overall taste of the cake, quite unlike your other cakes that have a neutral or appealing aroma. Couldn’t eat it after the first bite 🙁!

Had a super experience with a cake that I ordered online. The cake was delicious. I was late in picking up the cake and the lovely staff were kind enough to wait at the shop for me after they’d already closed so that I could pick it up. Fantastic service and staff who really care. Highly recommend:)

The best cheescake ever had, their service was appreciated as my friend was very late to collect the order but they waited until the store was closed on a sunday and completed the order. Really appreciate that.
