Edit: I contacted customer service about the situation, and they did refund my order, so adding one star back for that.
I hardly ever write reviews, but this experience was awful in every way. Such a bummer too because I was really excited to find a place with smoothies in MSP.
First issue was the food. They were out of strawberries, which is a listed ingredient in a huge number of their products. I'm not sure how that happens at a smoothie place, but ok, fine. And then they said they were also out of dates but told me they had a substitute sweetner and could still make a chocolate banana smoothie. I trusted them to do so, but the end result was so bitter and tasted like i was drinking raw cacao and ice--I couldn't find the banana or any sign of a sweetener. I don't even like a lot of sugar, but this was entirely undrinkable. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I was already back at my gate, which was starting to board. On the other hand, my husband's frappe was oversweetened to the point it was hard to drink. So both drinks were disappointing, and I can't believe they could make such a horrible chocolate banana smoothie and charge money for it. If you're out of ingredients, put up a sign or something, but don't sell me something (at full price nonetheless!) that's entirely inedible. I'll say the carrot cake was sticky, but decent.
Next was the payment process. We received meal vouchers with full credit card information from delta due to flight delays. But the employees here refused to take them. There was no reason that a vendor couldn't manually enter the credit card info included in the voucher (and this is an airport location afterall!) but the employees didn't even try. They flat out rejected the vouchers and made me pay with a personal credit card.
So the food was awful, and the service was somehow even worse. While it's too late for me, I hope this review saves other fliers from wasting their money here.
