First (and last) time here. The decor was simple, RT nice. The cashier was nice as well and wait time was about 5 mins overall. Now, on to the items. The juice... it tasted more like water with pieces of the pits from the fruit. Every sip you take, you have to spit out a piece of the pit or it’s stuck in your teeth (maybe some people don’t mind this). I was excited to try this because I love juices from Nekter and figured it would mirror the concept. Nope, not even close. I ordered a spicy tuna sandwich and it was good. On an alternate food chain comparison, this tastes exactly like subway, but it will cost you a few dollars more and you will have less of the “feel full” concept one expects after eating. No menus offered to take so you can view the description of other items you may want to try (or maybe they know people may not be willing to give it a second chance so they skip providing the disappointment). Last thing, a guy walks in to the place (wearing earrings with dangly charms on them) scratching and bothering his zipper area. Low and behold, he worked there!! He walked in and we didn’t see him wash his hands either. The girl working was explaining to him what to do. Just imagine, this guy is in there right now touching food and other items and will be making someone else’s order... with those UNWASHED hands that he kept scratching his private area with. How unsanitary and GROSS!!! Then the girl says “there really isn’t anyone in charge” to the guy. So I guess the owners don’t ever foresee some kind of mishap taking place to the point of those people being needed. It’s clear the guy was new and does not take heed to cleanliness when you are about to handle utensils and food that other people will be eating!! Now thanks to him, we will always wonder if someone “scratched” and didn’t clean their hands before handling food. Disgusting first impression

Been here twice so far once for an afternoon coffee and once for morning breakfast. For breakfast I got the joegurt which has coconut granola and yogurt. It was really delicious. Everything from the coffee, juices to food is made upon order so it’s not as fast as other coffee places but the wait time wasn’t horrible we waited maybe 5 minutes each time.

The space is great and the couches are a nice touch, but there are no tables large enough to play a board game. The coffee was decent, but with so many excellent cafes around, decent isn't good enough. Coffee drinks are served in disposable cups or single serve packets which both affects the taste and makes me feel like I'm hurting the environment by patronizing this business. The juice drinks are wonderful, but pricey.

Rude staff and overpriced juice. Only redeeming factor is the fruits and interior.

I have been going to Joe & The Juice since before it was in the US, specifically in Aarhus and Copenhagen. I was very surprised to one in Grand Central, then in Palo Alto and in my CA transplant town, RWC. I was also pessimitic about its ability to provide the same level of quality and service that I experienced in Denmark. In the post-C19 world, I've come to frequent the RWC branch. Maybe I lose out a little on my avocado sandwich (it's the brown bread, you!), I think the fruit/green shakes are slightly better than in Denmark. Nice job RWC 🇺🇸🇩🇰

Door is kept open because they haven’t figured out how to keep it closed but not locked. Not sure how long this has been going on but come on, it can’t be that difficult. You’re leasing. Call property management to show you how it’s done. (This business has potential to thrive with right staff and some easy fixes)

Stopped for a latte, only one person ahead of me. 15 minutes later and the counter person still hadn't started on my latte, so I asked for a refund, which she didn't know how to do. She tried calling someone but couldn't get an answer. 10 minutes later she had finally figured it out through text messages. She said she was new, but what kind of place leaves someone new alone and in charge? I'll never go back.

don't recommend this place for working. Door is kept open so people are freezing to death inside. I was told the door has to be open because it will otherwise be locked. The easy solution - unlocking the door - does seem like a hard one for Joe & The Juice.
