Joe? Who's Joe?
This place is nestled in between Amazon offices, so it took me some time to find but it was well worth it. I got two sandwiches and a banana bread. There is plenty of seating inside but I chose to sit outdoors.
Tunavocado, 4/5: the tuna was a bit sour for my preference and it overpowered the avocado. Avocado usually goes really well with fish but it didn't synergize as well as I hoped it would. Unlike most sandwiches, the staff wrapped the sandwich nicely in a way that when you eat it won't explode out the bottom. The bread is the best part of the sandwich, it's crunchy, seasoned, and doesn't destroy the roof of your mouth.
Chicken Club, 5/5: I really liked this sandwich as the chicken wasn't dry, paired very well with the creaminess of the avocado, tomato kept each bite juicy, and the bread is perfect. Like the other sandwich, it's wrapped in a way where if you pull the wrapping back gradually you should have a mess free sandwich. I recommend this one!!!
Banana Bread, 3.5/5: the banana bread was ok, it was a little too sweet for my liking and didn't have that x-factor for banana bread. For instance, when I get banana bread I hope for it to taste like mom made it. My mom never made banana bread for me growing up but that's beside the point. It didn't taste homemade, it was a little too sweet, doughy, but I did like the nuts on top but thought it could've been baked in the banana bread. It was also slightly expensive for the small piece.
Verdict: highly recommend coming here for the sandwiches!! I haven't tried the drinks but I'll definitely come back for the good service and walk around South Lake Union.
