They say the best things in life you don’t have to go searching for - I’ve been on a mission to find the best Chicken Caesar wrap in the bay. However, this was a spot that I stumbled upon on my way in to Napa, and I did not expect it to complete my mission. I thought what I ordered was a simple buffalo chicken wrap. Turns out it was the best Buffalo Chicken Caesar wrap I’ve ever had. No croutons, but the chicken breading is so crispy and crunchy you don’t even need it. The chicken is juicy, the sauces aren’t overpowering and the portion is incredibly generous. I came back twice in one weekend for the wrap. My partner had the chicken sandwich which was also delicious in its own respect. The other menu items looked delicious, but it will be hard for me to move away from this wrap now. call and order ahead if you have somewhere to be, because they can get pretty busy during lunch hours. The wait is so, so worth it.

oella’s Deli in Napa is one of those hidden gems you almost want to keep a secret, but they deserve way more love! Tucked away and easy to miss unless you’re headed to the nearby dispensaries, this place absolutely delivers on flavor. I had their chicken sandwich and fried pickles, and let me tell you, the pickles are spears, not chips, which makes them SO much better! Crunchy, tangy, and fried to perfection. I also grabbed their buffalo chicken wrap to save for dinner, and it did not disappoint. I first saw Joella’s featured by a couple of local chefs on TasteFulli Napa’s posts, and now I totally get the hype. If you’re in the area, skip the usual spots and give this place a try — you’ll be glad you did!

No doubt, the food here tastes great—just like everyone says. But unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. I was enjoying my buffalo chicken wrap. After finishing the smaller half, I was about to start the second half when I noticed a long strand of hair embedded between the tortilla layers clearly visible even before I unwrapped the paper. I immediately showed it to the server and asked them to toss it. The only response I received was, “Sorry, buddy.” No offer of a replacement, no refund—nothing. For a highly rated place with such great food, this was surprising and disappointing. I spent $19 on the wrap and ended up having to find another place to get more food. Embarrassing and frustrating. If there were an option to give a negative rating, I would.

Great little place in Napa. Awesome food and incredible chicken sandwiches. The staff is very polite and welcoming. Definitely coming back again.

Came out from the East Bay for the weekend and was lucky enough to be staying across the street from Joella’s! Needed to grab a quick bite and this place did not disappoint. The chicken sandwich was AMAZING!!! It wasn’t just a basic chicken sandwich that everyone else is trying to do … the ingredients were definitely unique. My boyfriend was celebrating his birthday and the owner gifted us a dessert, an Italian dessert common in his hometown of New Jersey. Definitely never had anything like it. It was nice to see that locals we’re popping up left and right. He’s definitely found a good place to call home and has a loyal following. I think we’re gonna go back tonight for the cheesesteaks.😆

Delicious food from a former NY & NV chef! How lucky are we here in downtown Napa to have such a fabulous food truck turning out this high quality & creative food 😋😋. While my husband thoroughly enjoyed his fried chicken sandwich on a perfect handmade bun (awesome sauce too!—yes I got a few bites) I tried some of the most delicious chilled corn soup! And we took some special bread pudding home for dessert. RUN there asap and you will want to thank me! And of course, thank Ian for all of his talent…simply YUM! I’m sure his grandma Jo’ella is proudly smiling down on this fellow! 😇🥰

The best food in napa ! Travelled here to go to opus one and Robert mondavi with my son and on the way back to San Francisco airport googled the best fresh food truck and this did not disappoint! The food is delicious!!! Fresh crispy and such a great set up in the napa sunshine . If you're looking for fresh local food then visit here ... it's honestly great food with such a cute set up

Food is amazing, Owner is wonderful, so far such a good experience. 100 times better than Canes. If you love fried chicken, you need to pop by and try

I've eaten at Joella's since they opened and I can say without a doubt that this is the BEST food in the Napa valley. They have incredible food that changes frequently since the owner is really into local farm to table style cooking. The service is top tier every single time. Perla and Ian are so warm and welcoming and always do the best job preparing food and frequently hook it up with extra goodies for loyal customers. They sometimes have a table outside too where you can hang out in the shade and enjoy the food with friends when it's hot and fresh. I didn't add a picture here, but I've also hired Joella's for catering. We had some strict dietary restrictions for a party, gluten free and vegan. Ian made an incredible ratatouille, arugula salad with candied pistachios, and a corn and tomato salad that my toddler ate 5 servings of! If you need food for dinner or for a big event, Joella's is the place to go.

Absolutely loved this food truck! We got the fried chicken tenders, fried pickles, croquettes, and potato salad to go, and everything was fantastic. Crispy, perfectly seasoned, and still delicious when we got home. The sauces on the side were a great touch too! Highly recommend for anyone craving top-notch fried food.

Hell yes. Amazing chicken sandwich. What makes thus spot absolute perfection is the owners. They are courteous, professional, and all around nice people. If you are in the area stop by give them a shout out and enjoy a perfect lunch.

The hype is real!! This food truck's chicken sandwich is huge and delicious!! The chicken was nicely marinated, well seasoned and very tender. The crust was still crunchy even after a 20 min commute and the combination of pickles,slaw, slightly sweet/spicy sauce and fluffy house made bun made for a towering bite of yum! The nuggets were just as crunchy and tender as the chicken sandwich and served with house ranch and sweet/spicy sauce. The elote corn soup was on the sweeter side but still delicious especially when you add all the condiments (tortilla strips, cotija, lime wedge) The only item I didn't particularly enjoy was the meatball sandwich, it was just aight. Nothing about it seemed thought through or special. How about some fresh basil? What if we made the meatballs differently? Just saying.. Anyway, I just found our new go to chicken place and you can order ahead of time off of their website to minimize your wait time at their truck site. They change their menu often so it's worth a visit!

Great little unassuming food truck in a parking lot. The crew are friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic with just enough of a spice kick to enhance the flavor of the food!

A new (and popular) food truck near the Oxbow Public Market that does just a small handful of dishes, notably a fried chicken sandwich that got attention after raves from the San Francisco Chronicle. And the verdict... it's good. A bit too crunchy for me, coated with a great hot honey, and quite filling. Service is friendly, and there's substantial space to sit outside. Online ordering is available; the wait for me for food was about 10 minutes.

I ordered from here on DoorDash and was super excited to try it. It smelled delicious! The butternut squash salad was absolutely perfect. I also got the chicken bites which looked a little questionable but tasted great. The sauces are where they shine! I wanted to douse everything in that hot sauce. I will definitely be back to try more.

Stayed at the Bel Abri Inn and found this place with a sign advertising the chicken sandwiches. Great food and the guy behind the counter was friendly!

The owner is so nice and truly bends over backwards for customers. I ordered a chicken sandwich and the spicy honey. The sandwich was delicious! I used the honey as a marinade for chicken that I grilled. Bonus!

August 2024 Cheesesteaks and buffalo chicken wraps are TERRIFIC! Chicken croquettes also yumville! But in reality, not a bad dish on the menu, and value for the money! Back to the traditional spot, excellent!

I've had the whole menu at Joelle's, and every item is delicious! The fried chicken sando lives up to the hype, but the meatball parm sub and chilaquiles sando (double carb FTW--great job, Perla) are also super craveable. Soups and salads change with the seasons ensuring a delicious outcome with the best ingredients. Ian, the owner, is friendly and welcoming! If you are able to pick up your order, just give them a call in advance to place your order to save you time and it helps them save on online platform fees. For folks coming up from outside Napa, the truck is conveniently parked outside the Hollywood Room now so you can take advantage of the seating there and also enjoy a drink with your tasty food from Joella's. Also ask them about their secret menu options: so far I've tried the chili cheese fries and the chicken parm. Super good!

Found this truck by accident highly recommend it we are traveling from Santa Barbara. The juiciest taste is chicken. French fries are incredible cheese steaks look awesome again highly recommend this over all food trucks I've ever ever had.

Trying Joelle's for the first time .. Chicken Sandwich was great just way too much slaw on it . The chili Chilles Sandwich... perfection! Last but not least the Butternut squash salad was wonderful!

Joella's Deli is the BEST chicken I have probably EVER tasted! It is very moist and crunchy also the aïoli sauce is very delicious with the fries and the chicken. The service is quick and fast although sometimes there can be a long line. It is not a restaurant is a food truck but they do have a couple tables outside. The staff is very nice and kind. I love Joella's and every time I am in Napa I make sure to stop by!

When I paid for my chicken sandwich, I was initially shocked by the price because I'm used to paying $11 max for a sandwich, But when I took the first bite, the internal shock melted away. The fantastic qualities of the food here were worth every penny. This place is a perfect projection of the saying "you get what you paid for". The owner knows what his food is worth. If you come here, you're going to pay a little extra, and in exchange, you're going to experience qualities in food that you never felt before, and you're going to feel like a king while eating it. I'm going again to try the other stuff on their menu.

OMG! SOOOO Good! Everything is scrumptious and original! The staff is proud of their venue and works very hard for 109% satisfaction, so please give feedback. Myself, I have diet demands, and Ian works hard to mitigate them elegantly. I have to admit, I'm not easy. You can't go wrong with Joella's! ( I also like a good bourbon with my mearball sandwich)..

This place is a gem! I'll rip the bandaid right off and tell you upfront, yes, it's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for!! We couldn't decide between all the tasty selections, so the owner suggested we modify the Caesar salad: done!!! He was very nice and attentive while we were there. Business was a little slow for him at that moment (he receives a lot of his business through mobile food order/delivery service) so we were able to chat. He shared that he named the business for his grandmother. When I asked if she had the recipes, his response was adorable, "no, no, no, she couldn't cook. Just a really great person!!" We both have big appetites, but these items were more than enough for us both. In fact, they're pictured in boxes because we had to get most of it to go! The sandwich was phenomenal, and that slaw they use is pretty epic even on its own! The seating is very limited outdoors since it's basically just a food truck, but he definitely does a nice job to give it a welcoming feeling. Overall, we loved everything. Only complaint (if you can even call it that) is wish there were more spice options. The "spicy" choices weren't sufficient for my friend Haha! Can't wait to return again and again!!

I just got a couple of chicken sandwiches and a soup. It was over $50. Normally I don't mind paying that much for good food. This was not it. The chicken in the crispy chicken sandwiches were raw. Like totally raw. It was not crispy at all. I hope I don't get sick

Best meatball sandwich in town!!! Great perfectly fried chicken for the Sando! Fantastic operation! Making a run on the fried chicken scene of Napa valley! Find them at the distillery! Great for a quick snack or a sit down meal!!

Presentation outside is nice Burger was good but not for the price and it didn't even come with fries

My boss treated me to lunch as an appreciation and I'll say I had their meatball sub and it was really good. Had a delicious Italian bolognese taste that was complimented with a delicious marinara along with spinach and a toasted bread roll. My wife enjoyed a chicken sandwich nestled in a toasted sesame seed bun, along side a rich creamy coleslaw with a kick of spice. Very friendly staff and very humble.

Our family tried almost one of everything and it was delicious! We especially liked the fried pickles, chicken bites and sandwich. Meatball sandwich was also really good (for sure fork and knife!) as well as the spin on the chilaquiles, sandwich style. Will be back again!

Don't be fooled by its quaint/casual appearance, this food truck means serious business! Easily the most mouth watering cravable fried chicken in town, but everything else on this limited menu is fantastic! Be sure to check them out if you see their truck- you won't be disappointed!

Had their chicken sandwich and potato salad the other week when I was at White Rabbit. Really good food! Highly recommended.

My boss was so kind to treat me and my husband to some of the menu items from Joella's Deli. Let me tell you...it is FANTASTIC. My hubby had the meatball sub and he devoured it. Delicious! My mom thoroughly enjoyed the orzo pasta salad and the corn soup and she ate it up quick!! I had the honor of eating the chicken sandwich and oh boy, it was OUTSTANDING. The chicken was so juicy, the pickles were such a nice touch (I'm not even a pickle person!) and that slaw? C'mon! So good!! (I'm not even a slaw person either!) the sandwich overall was dynamite and I would 100% go back over and over!

Best chicken sandwich I've ever had without question. Definitely bringing my friends here to try it! It seems pricey but it's totally worth it for the quality. The staff is friendly too and with quick service. Ambiance feels relaxed, easy to park, get your order, and head out.

The food here is top notch. The best chicken sando I've ever had! The owner, Ian, told me that he makes everything from scratch and I believe it! Everything from that homemade bun, the (incredible juicy) chicken, even the pickles were delicious. Service is awesome, especially for a food truck. I'm coming back for the meatball parm. Will keep you posted. The guys who work here are cute, too.

I loved the set up and presentation of this place. The staff was nice but the food just wasn't that good. It was dry and bland. Bought a chicken sandwich and some tenders with some potatoes salad. It was almost 50 dollars and it didn't even come with fries or a toy lol. Staff uses bare hands to handle food also
