Joe's Coffee Stop

While we were remodeling our kitchen we went to joes maybe 3-5 days each week! We love this place. Great lattes, my kids love the milkshakes/ice cream and we all really appreciate the fresh Acme bread you can pick up from here! Thanks Joes!

I'm not a coffee snob or connoisseur, but I just got an iced coffee and it is super weak and not good. The service was friendly at least

Stopped on a whim. Best latte ever. The espresso flavor was deep and round with an amazing finish. The burrito was yummy. Pastries were fresh.

Enjoyed a smooth creamy latte and a delicious strawberry Nutella crepe! Friendly service and great location. I'll definitely be back!

It's a little shed in a parking lot with seating nearby. I can't get over the horchata latte, treat yourself. The baked goods from Acme are exceptional as expected. Can't believe I didn't know this place before. For a drive-up, we didn't feel rushed.

Love this place this is the best coffee around. Jesus has got wonderful customer service I recommend the Havana cappuccino.

What a fun, hidden gem. And I must say, conveniently located next to Target in Albany AND a drive-thru only. All of the things a new mom on-the-go dreams of. Not having to leave the car after running an errand, placing an order while in the car, and having a coffee delivered to her by hand :) Fun staff, fair pricing, and a cool menu. I usually don't stray for my iced coffees, but they do offer more than just your typical cup of joe. And from these Yelp pictures, looks like sweet froyo and milkshake options too! Which is always good to know for longer car rides or detours with the kiddo. The last time I visited they were doing samples of a summer soda and I noticed they had brekky items to-go. Incredibly fast service and it seems independently-owned. Love the signage and look/feel of this spot. Highly recommend if in the Albany area pre or post-Target run.

Don't let looks deceive you! Great coffee and fantastic food to go. Definitely stop by here on a road trip or if you have some extra time to spare. Probably not the best choice if you are in a rush since it is a one window one woman operation. But we loved it!

I always think this is a drive thru coffee shop. And because of that-no one like to stop by. I passed by all the time when I go to Target and it was always empty. This is not a drive thru. This is a coffee shop with plenty of parking spots and the entire big showroom to enjoy your drinks. Plus small patio in the front. That large showroom and parking used to be part of Toyota dealership. Toyota is still next door. I parked my car at a large empty parking lot and enjoyed my frappe in a spacious room that used to be a Toyota dealership. Nothing is better than this. Frappe taste excellent.

Loved the green chile burrito and the iced mocha. If you pass by, you should stop and try it! The staff member was very nice.

Joe's Coffee Shop is a quick one stop shop. Joanna was super kind and made me a delicious iced caramel macchiato. Always love coming back to Joe's.

Staff was really nice and answered questions I had about drinks and what she recommended that wasn't too much on the sweet side. I got an iced horchata latte and she adjusted it so it's less sweet. It is pretty good! I'll definitely come back to try other lattes or the soft serve that I saw on a poster.

Love this place! Good coffee, fast service, friendly people and a big parking lot to pull over and relax in after the purchase. Makes getting coffee fun!

What a hidden gem! I always thought this place was somehow related to the car dealership but it's a totally separate little drive thru with delicious treats! I got a soft serve on my way into Target. They also had fresh bread, pastries, and coffee that I'll try next time. So cute and very much a quality little shop.

I stopped by here last week with a friend. I ordered an iced matcha latte and the green chili breakfast burrito. My friend ordered a latte and the vegan breakfast sandwich. I really liked the matcha latte here. The lady who works here has good customer service. Wait time could be a bit excessive because it's a very small coffee shop but I would recommend.

This place is within a rock throw from my job and always be passing by. Since today was such a beautiful day decided to try their soft serve swirl ice cream and boy glad I did.

coffee is good and I tried a vegan breakfast sandwich which was tasty but felt tiny for 8 bucks... I would try something else next time. The app didn't load for some reason. oh well

Super speedy and convenient one-window drive-thru. Order, pay, and pick-up all at the same window. There are a lot of great coffee options including specialty coffees, but I just opted for a small black coffee. They have quick bites as well such as an English muffin sandwich and pastries from Starter Bakery. Prices are fair for the area. Service is friendly - I felt very welcome and valued as a customer. Will definitely be back!

Had the special Golden Latte which had turmeric and it was delicious. Girl at the stop offered free fresh choice of bread since it was nearing closing time. Not sure if that's the normal but totally worth an extra afternoon caffeine boost for the yummy bread. A whole loaf! Easy drive thru and pretty quick turn around for a super delish coffee.

We decided to stop in and grab a drink. I've never been there but have been wanted to try. Next time I'll keep driving. I checked the menu and decided I wanted an iced tea and my kid wanted a matcha latte. We ordered large of each. We're told they don't have iced tea. I said "oh! It's on the menu" and she just looked me. If you re out of iced tea, that's a different story. It took forever for them to make the matcha. We asked for it sweetened, they didn't sweeten it and the size was tiny even though we ordered a large. Once we got back on the highway I tried my drink and it has got to be the worst espresso I've ever had. I could tell that it was a dry bean. So disappointing.

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was close and convenient as I was leaving Target. I was very impressed! It's a cute little set up. The drive thru line moved quickly. The personalized service was great, perfect latte, green chile burrito was yummy. I was also able to grab a loaf of ciabatta for later today. I will definitely be back!

I love Joe's coffee shop! They're a way better and quicker alternative to Starbucks and other coffee chains. Their drink recipes are spectacular and their lattes are delicious. I currently love their iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk. Amazing guys! Thanks for existing!

Love, love, love me some Joe's Coffee. I used to come for coffee when my kid had his little league games at Albany Park nearby. Now I drive the 15 minutes from where I live in Downtown Berkeley just for a cup of coffee. There are no shortage of coffee places where I live, but I make the trip here for a good strong cup of joe. The staff is super friendly, too. It's a drive thru coffee shop so you never have to leave your car in case you're on your way to work. There are pastries and a breakfast burrito they also sell. I've had their blueberry scone and a smaller sized pre-made breakfast burrito. These both went well with my coffee. On one of my previous visits, I got a rewards card and get a stamp for every time I visit. I believe on my 10th visit I get a free coffee. They also have a promotion where if you download the app, you get a free coffee - I've done this too. The guy working the counter told me about this. Highly recommend this spot!

Called to see if they were open. Was hung up on twice. Every time I've come here it's been closed. I really wanted to support this business but I can't if they aren't open. I'm sad.

This is my favorite go to coffee spot! It's on my way to work so it's so convenient to pull up and get my drink in the morning. The customer service is always excellent and everyone there is super nice and welcoming. Wish that the shop was bigger so I could sit down and enjoy my drink!

Yay! So excited about this drive thru coffee shop. I read about the ambitious 19 yo co owner, Diego, and knew I had to support. It just so happened I found myself with a napping toddler in my car and time to kill. Diego was incredibly kind as we chatted about his desire to open the drive thru coffee shop. Best of all, my ice mocha was beautiful and delicious. I'll be back and have already told all my friends to support this small business.

I finally went thru the drive thru and ordered a 16 oz white mocha with oat milk and it was good! Hot and flavorful!! As for the bread, I had already bought one at Berkeley Bowl. He did say they sometimes sell out in 3 hours and sometimes they don't. Hope that helps some of you. Next time I'll pick up their lemon poppy muffin made from Sonoma Bakery? Pretty nice and courteous. He helped me not over sweeten my drink by adding caramel lol Good tip!

Was leaving Target and remembered seeing this local drive thru coffee shop posted on Next Door. Enjoyed an iced latte and my co-pilot had an iced Americano. Quick, friendly service and as a bonus, they gave us hats to sport around the neighborhood!

How does this place not have more reviews?? Went around 1pm and there was no line. Conveniently located near the Target. I ordered an iced mocha with almond milk. Drink was strong but in a good way. Good balance between the coffee and chocolate. The young kid working was really nice and helpful. Whenever I'm back in the area, I'll definitely try other drinks. This is Berkeleys secret gem!

Yelp said this place is closed, but it's not. We've been here twice after just recently discovering it was open. The second time, we didn't realize they were closed when we pulled up, but that didn't matter, the super nice gentleman took our order anyway. Customer service was excellent and I'd be happy to frequent this establishment to support this small business because of it. The added bonus is the coffee is also really good. I tend to have a complicated order, and it was met with no issues. My daughter ordered the Havana Cap with oat milk and she said it was also very good and couldn't wait to come back. We'll definitely be back for the great coffee and customer service.

Super convenient and tasty. Love to support a small business! Really excellent customer service and offers a loyalty reward card. Plus has an app to pre order for even more convenience (Get a free first drink on the app). I ordered a horchata latte with oat milk and sausage burrito. Drink really is delicious and the burrito was small but flavorful (A little spice in the potatoes so maybe not friendly for the super sensitive palate) Cheaper than Starbucks and Peets and you can stay in your car.

I was on my way to Peet's coffee when I stopped by target in Albany and thought that I would give Joe's a chance instead. I am glad I did. A nice mixture of espresso and chocolate. I plan to try the Italian soda the next time I visit. Definitely worth the visit!!

This iced caramel oatmilk latte is otherworldly. The barista was super friendly and kind! Plus, the shop is so tiny and cute. I might accidentally come here every day now.

Always saw this shop going into to target but wasn't sure if they were open yet or not, finally saw the "open" sign flashing in red so decided to stop by. Love their coffee. Will buy a bag soon on my next stop! The guy was very friendly and made 3 drinks pretty quickly considering he was on his own. Highly recommend for others to try! They also have Oat and Soy substitutes for lacto-intolerance individuals like me!

I tried to go here a while back and as another reviewer said it was closed. But they're open again and I finally got to try it out! Great coffee and love that it's a drive thru. So easy to grab a good latte on my way to work. The homemade lavender syrup is a must have!

Went after finishing up at Target and was amazed! I got an iced caramel macchiato that was absolutely delicious and my brother got their pina colada creamer special which he thoroughly enjoyed! Can't wait to come back! Going to become a new staple!!

My husband and I both stopped by Joe's today to give them a try. The young gentleman working was kind and the coffee was amazing. My husband found out they use small batch locally sourced & roasted coffee. Can't wait to come back this week!

Very cute drive thru @ a great price for amazing coffee! They also have often offer limited edition drinks like slushees and lemonades that are super refreshing! Stop by if you're craving something to drink!
