Joe's Crab Shack

Joe's has a casual and fun atmosphere and welll trained staff, Our server was very friendly and attentive.. We ordered crab cakes, veggies and dirty rice, brown rice cooked with little pieces of crab. Also, we had the Atlantic Seafood Pot, which was a delicious mix of crab, shrimp, and lobster, cooked with potatoes and corn. For dessert, we had the scrumptious Key Lime Pie; one piece is large enough for two people. My one criticism is that the music was a little loud.

We got the Double Arctic Bay. Wow! I haven't seen such a huge steam pot in my entire life! Lobsters, crabs, shrimps, mais, red potatoes, saussages. If your saliva is already on your phone while reading, go for it! It was great! You'll probably make a mess out of your self so don't go there with fancy clothes. The price was very fair for this amount of food! Definitely worth to make the drive out of Vegas!

Was asked to move about 5 minutes after we were sat....because the server that was supposed to take care of us was cut.. At this point we felt like an afterthought and considered leaving until the bartender came to take our order 10 minutes later. My wife and I ordered the fish and chips and the fish and shrimp entrees, starting with a Caesar salad and a cup of the lobster bisque. After waiting another 10 minutes for our soup and salad, a food runner finally dropped off our cold lobster bisque and very wet and soggy sad little salad. I asked the server to please bring back a hot cup of soup for my wife as I did not want another salad because I was losing my appetite from our experience. We got our entrees and the fish was limp, soggy and not worth the price. You would think that maybe at least the food would be worth the trip to Joe's even though the service was horrible..but in this case, Joe's, you completely failed in service and food quality. I am an authority in the restaurant business in this town and I will never be back. Shame on you Joe's Crab Shack, you once had a good concept.. but you let it go down and it shows.

First it was really expensive. Half the food did not taste good and left a metallic taste is my and my husbands mouth. They turned up the music very loud and started dancing. I understand the environment is supposed to be energetic, but out of us and only 4 other families in the restaurant during "dinner rush" it was overall extremely awkward. Our server was extremely nice, which was a plus but overall never coming back!

I really enjoy eating here with my fiance. The crab Pasta special was amazing. And there was even enough to take home for leftovers. The staff are friendly and fun. Not only is this a good place to eat, it's probably a good place to work.

The service was beyond slow. The restaurant was not very busy but it took 10 plus minutes to get our order we ordered drinks & food at once .. We then waited another 10 minutes before we asked for our drinks.. Our food came out all but one persons which slipped through the cracks.. so they got theirs when we were almost done eating slowly .. The waitress was very nice & very apologetic however the whole experience was not redeeming for service received.. We like joes as a whole but we won't be going back to the Henderson location in the future. Sunday April 23rd Lunch

I had never been to a Joes Crab Shack before and now I understand I've been missing out! We went for my husband's birthday, and our waitress was super friendly and extremely accommodating! Coincidentally, there were 2 other birthdays happening at the same time but our waitress made sure that each table received a unique and fun way of singing the birthday song, so it made us feel special! We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

Terrible service had no fork for over 10 minutes food was cold by that time. Appetizer showed up same time as dinner so that was waste of time and money. Requested to speak with the manager Casey about several issues and she never came out to speak with us. Not sure if the waitress ever relayed my message. I'm huge on reviews and always provide great feedback when deserved but after the service received on my sons 6th bday sad to say we will not return. We have celebrated his bday there for the last 3years and it really sucks when you spend $170 on a meal and the manager won't even come out to speak with you when needed.
