The Best Sandwiches in Montreal | Eater Montreal

"While no one can figure out how the prices haven’t changed in almost a decade (average price is $8), nobody is complaining. Joe’s Panini, open 24 hours, remains a go-to option for students, Habs fans looking for a pre-game snack or party-goers on the hunt for a late-night fix-me-up. The spicy grilled chicken is the star of the show (even if it’s not much to look at) — but with more than 20 panini to choose from, you really can’t go wrong." - Erinn Blicher

The Best Student-Priced Food Near Concordia University | Eater Montreal

"This straightforward (but often busy) panini joint is a favourite among cash-strapped students, serving up sandwiches of a quality that belie the low price. It’s also open 24 hours a day, helping you fuel up during all-night study sessions (or after a drunken night out)." - Holly Tousignant

The Best Lunch Options in Downtown Montreal | Eater Montreal

"While possibly a controversial inclusion due to its absolutely-no-frills approach (check those alternating caps on the sign), Joe’s is half the price and twice as good as anything in a nearby food court. The spicy chicken is an undeniable hit." - Ashley Joseph

Every Notable 24 Hour Restaurant in Montreal, Mapped | Eater Montreal

"Joe’s Panini is a quick, affordable spot to grab a bite on the way home from a downtown night out. Joe’s knows its specialty and sticks to it: The menu has a broad range of sandwiches — Philly Cheesesteak, gyro, and tofu ginger paninis, to name a few — but little else. While seating room is minimal, service is fast, making this an easy spot to grab a sandwich before jumping in a cab." - Audrey Carleton

Very nice Panini at a fair price. I recommend trying the smoked turkey and cheese Panini with a dollop of pesto sauce. It’s a small little nook of a sandwich bar, but the people are friendly and it’s perfect for a quick inexpensive bite.

Saturday December 21 If I could put 0 stars I would’ve done it. The two girls working don’t wanna work at all they just wanna chit chat between them. My Philly steak was cold, vegetables not cooked, Cheese not melted, very cold. When the guys work, we eat well. But these two girls need to learn how to be in a kitchen seriously.

Ordered on skipthedishes. They replaced my bbq pork panini for a vegetable panini, didnt give the coleslaw I ordered (gave salad with egg instead) and forgot to add the bocchini salad of $13 price. I called and they kept saying they added it. Unbelievable. Own up to your mistakes and was very difficult to get them to replace the meal. Incredible restaurant I've never had such a bad experience from delivery before. And while I'm on the phone the other colleague is laughing in the back. Terrible management.

The food here used to be amazing back in the day! Everyone knew this place. Now their sandwiches are almost double the price, and 1/4th the quality they used to be. They really skip out on the meat, and everything tastes bland and boring now... Theirs sides used to be amazing, now everything is a bland pasta salad. Don't waste your time coming here... better off buying bread and cold cuts at your local dep and making yourself a sandwich.

I have read good reviews about this sandwich place but I couldn’t share their opinion. I have ordered a grilled chicken and a meatball sandwich. Both lack taste and quality. Prices are reasonable but still not worth the money. The chicken sandwich couldn’t be dryer and the meatballs was icy cold…both a big NO!!

Got FOOD POISONING. Stay away from the bowtie pasta salad!! It tasted like it sat in the fridge for 2 weeks. I’ve been eating at Joes for over a decade and the food now is just not what it used to be. I won’t be back.

This place used to be soo iconic and good. But I came home to find my spicy chicken to have only traces of chicken..they used to put a substantial amount, since it’s a chicken sandwich. I get that there’s inflation but they are increasing their prices while decreasing the quality. They also purposefully placed the chicken to the sides so it look’s like the sandwich is full of chicken.. just sad :( (I added the mayo myself)
