Joe's Pasta & Pizza

I had a Stromboli, a calzone, and a salad. No one greeted me, I didn’t even get spoken to until another customer came in. They made all my stuff to go when I was eating in the restaurant. Overall they just weren’t that friendly. The food was decent but not good enough to overlook the service. I will not return. They also were extremely friendly to everyone else who came and went. Never once acknowledged I existed beyond my food order.

Supreme pizza was good i liked the crust, could have used a little more sauce but that's personal preference. The ficcacia bread was just italian/french bread slices with tomato cheese and seasoning, then toasted. I expected handmade ficcacia as per the description on the to go website but non the less still decent.

It is expensive for what you get. I could have bout a whole pizza at other places for the cost of 2 slices although they were large slices. They they were only semi warm from the warming process. Maybe I went in on an off day.

My boyfriend and I love this place! I used to come here with friends all the time in high school and the place is still just as good, service has always been fast and the food is the absolute best part, definitely the best pizza in town. The place is always kept clean and nice, and the staff are wonderful.

Great pizza at a great price. What more can you ask for. The quality of the pie was unreal! Ordered mine crispy, and it was just that :) Crust had a great bite and chew to it, and the sauce is seasoned perfectly. I will be a regular from now on.

Another trip to Abilene and this place was recommended. We were so glad we went. The Italian was authentic, not American Italian like Olive Garden( although they are good). The people were great. For 11.99, I chose Lasagna, which came with bread and salad. My friend chose 2 slices of pizza, salad and drink, I think. Her slices were so big she could only eat 1. The lasagna wasn't baked like most places full of mozzarella and looking like all the other bake dishes. This was layers of goodness. It's small but the people and food are mighty.

Great food. Great price. Amazing Staff I always make a trip to Abilene to get this pizza. I really wish they would open up a location in Sweetwater TX. It would be great! Keep up the good work Joe’s Staff!

We absolutely love Joe’s! We order quite often, and the food is always fantastic! The employees have also always been very nice. Delivery is pretty fast, too! Which is great when you have hangry toddlers at home

We have ordered from Joe's three times now. All three times, it's been something with the salads. What do they have against salads? The first two times, they didn't deliver the side salad, this last time, the chefs salad was swimming in dressing. They gave us salad soup! Yikes.

This place is awesome, food fresh and very authentic. Above all it's Halal confirmed by the owner. Loved it

Friendly and informative staff right when you walk through the door. The pizza is authentic and delicious, and the salad bar was fresh and fabulous! I will be back 10/10.

At First the place looked sketchy. But we were STARVING so we went anyways. The person working was very nice and I loved their accents. The Food displayed looked delicious but the salad bar on the other hand looked a little bit scary it looked soggy and nasty! We they brought the food it was nice and hot! We went took a bite our eyes sparkled with delight!! Everything was delicious especially the bread! Thank you Joes!!!

Chicken Albanise is the freaking bomb. The bread is great. Love this place. Wish they stayed open later

Finally found true New York style pizza in Texas. This is as close as I would find in Manhattan it in Abilene.

Ambiance is 'ok' but the service is decent, order at the counter. And the food is great. I prefer the Bgap one - probably more for nostalgia, but they are closed on Monday so we hit the industrial road one, calzone and Stromboli were pretty comparable to Bgap. I liked it and would return!

We stopped in going back to Dallas and me and my mom were expecting alright pizza. When I tell you this place has some of the best Italian food I've eaten at it's true. The service was fantastic and didn't take long at all to get food and everyone was nice. The walls are painted with portraits of Italy and Rome. Best food in abiline I've had!!

Joe's is just simple great food. The people there are pleasant, incredibly personable, and always happy and joyful. This is a wonderful local restaurant that is one of our go to's - just about on a weekly basis!

Yuck! Food was gross. We ordered angel hair pasta with marinara, but we were served really cheap, gross regular spaghetti with red sauce. Caesar salad was not Caesar dressing and it was soggy AF. The bread was not even garlic bread. Just some cheap lightly toasted bread. Oh, and the clientele looked a bit sketchy. There was a table full of gang bangers that seemed like they were just looking for trouble. Very loud, offensive language and just generally distasteful. Ughhhhh. Never again. How on earth did this place to get any good reviews?

Very good pizza, got a couple of slices for a quick lunch and was happy I did finally give it a try. Several choices and was a definite local favorite. Will go again for sure.

So good!! We're from out of town, so when I saw that Joe's had such great reviews I was excited to try. Everything we got was fresh, so hot, and delicious. Would definitely come here again if we're ever back in Abilene.

I guess it's my fault for ordering this, because I apparently misinterpreted both "stuffed" and "meat lovers." I thought I was getting the perimeter of the crust stuffed with cheese and the pizza itself mounded with meat. As it turns out, all I got was "less than half the meat" sprinkled lightly between two layers of crust. I'm not sure how they define "meat lovers," but you can see in the photo there's very, VERY little meat, and what meat is present is some kind of ground meat (hamburger or sausage?), no pepperoni, and no ham. It's all bread. And I paid almost $27 for something that most have cost them $2 to make. I have way too many options in ordering good pizza in Abilene without overpaying for a horribly over-priced and thinly-topped pile of bread. I won't make this mistake again. Very disappointed.

Great pizza! I know pizza and the sauce makes it. Veggies are my favorite and Joe's gives a lot of both sauce and veggies. Thin crust is never to hard or soft. How do they do that? I'll get this again!!

I had my first pizza experience with Joe's Pasta & Pizza yesterday. I ordered a cheese pizza, a Joe's Supreme pizza and an order of Garlic Bread. Wow, I was impressed. That pizza was one of the best pizza's that I've ever eaten. I was really in the mood to have some good garlic bread. Unfortunately I was disappointed because I couldn't taste even a hint of garlic. That's why I only gave 4 stars. I will be going back though for pizza. Maybe I'll let Joe's know to add extra garlic? If I can taste garlic next time I'm sure that I would give 5 stars.

Great New York Style Pizza in the middle of West Texas! The large is LARGE!!! Bring a friend! It's high quality from the cheese, to the sauce to the crust. Hands down this is the best place to get pizza in Abilene in my opinion.

My family and I came here for a late lunch. The staff is very friendly. We all ordered different slices of pizza, calzones and a Stromboli. They were all so delicious and very flavorful. The pizza was nice and crispy on the bottom and they don't scrimp on toppings. They have granulated garlic on the tables which is a bonus to me. The place was clean with an nice atmosphere. I would certainly come here again to eat.

I order delivery thru doordash.. came way faster than I expected.. hot and cheesy, thin alil greasy just how I like it. My new favorite pizza joint

Pizza is always burnt and the crust gets thinner every year. If you get a hot sandwich here prepare to be hungry as the bread is stale and there's no meat on it. If you order delivery don't via Grubhub or Doordash- he will make the drivers wait upwards of an hour while they pound out menu hoppers orders. Why? Because they charge him less. It's that petty. I refuse to go here any longer as a customer or delivery driver. Sad, used to like this place. But the slow service and thin crust overpriced burnt pizza is simply too much to handle. Oh and he charges you to use a card for payment.. it's 2021 not 1991.

Love the pizza and pasta as well as Stromboli and Calzone. I go every time I can. Great service family owned business.

Horrible. Went to the website https://www.joespastapizzasubs.com/ and used the menu. Ordered two pizzas and two focaccia bread orders for a total of $50.96 plus tax. When my daughter picked up they charged us $69.04. I called and asked what happened and they said that was not their website. No offer for a refund, coupon, nothing...how is it not their website when their address, phone, exact menu (with incorrect pricing!) is there. Obviously it's their website and it's still up and running with a way to order. This is horrible customer service. Not going there again.

This is one of the best pizza places in Texas and it feels like you're in New York from the staff to the food is excellent and then it's worth the weight dining or takeout best Italian food.

AYCE lunch is always good and priced right. Calzones and pizza are worth a visit!

This is the Joe's that you'll find on Arrowhead delivery. Being from Chicago, I pride myself on being a pizza connoisseur--for whatever that's worth. Admittedly, this pizza is more in the style of what you'd find in New York and although it's blasphemous to say, I prefer the New York thin crust to Chicago's deep dish. The pizza at Joe's is a great example of how a pizza crust should taste. It's chewy and well-cooked and always consistently tasty. The crust has a good yeasty flavor and is great dipped in some extra marinara. They also have anchovies as a topping--and although I know those aren't to everyone's taste--it reminds me so much of home and Joe's anchovy pizza doesn't disappoint...and neither does their other toppings. We've tried their pastas and they're always pretty decent as well. On occasion the macaroni can be a tad overcooked, but I chalk that up to sitting in the hot container during delivery. While I'm so very pleased with Joe's food, I would love to see a few more appetizers added to the menu. That would really help them corner my personal pizza market!

Great food n great atmosphere? Love the salad bar, stromboli, gyros, calzone, pizza and murals on the walls! Nothing bad about this place except 4 the tiny bathrooms! Definitely give this place a try!

I purchased a Joe's salad today from the drive thru and I am Very disappointed! When I opened up the salad and there was no meat or cheese on it. This was my second salad I bought from them and it wasn't any good! The salads used to be my favorite! This the last time I will give them my money!!! Shame!!!!

I was early to meet a friend at the zoo down the way and found this place, so I thought I'd stop for lunch. There was a line out the door, so that was a good sign. I got the lunch special: two slices of pizza, a salad, and a drink. The salad is a salad bar where you get your own, which was nice. The pizza was very good.

Just wanted to say thank you for a great meal. Tonight was the 1st time ordering from your restaurant and i was shocked that i have never eaten there before. Food was excellent, flavor was spot on and service was outstanding. Will highly recommend and you have earned a loyal customer. Can't wait to try other items on your menu.

Everybody in town drives past Joe's Pizza on Treadway, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Well I've been in Abilene 4 years now and made my first stop there. It was a Friday night and I had a hour or two to kill before heading off to Shotwell to watch the local High school football game. Did not really want to get the pizza so when I spotted the calzone... I knew what I was going to be having. Now I've not had calazones a lot in town but it was TOPS!! LOVED IT.

Consistently good. A little greasy, but oooohh so good.

Arrived and they were closed! Drove far thinking they were open until 10pm. They should start letting people know when they'll be closed for business. Due to this I'll never consider coming back.

So I drive by this place at least 2 times every day and have always been curious about how it was. Well I just tried the Stromboli, and it's delicious!! Good food at a good price!! Kind of a cool place too!!

Called in a 18 inch pizza for pick up. Was told 20-25 min. When we arrived at the time to pick it up they had no clue what we were talking about. Said no pizza was called in to them. I showed them the number that we called. After around 5 mins of trying to figure out who took the order with each other about who's fault it was they just offered us a drink while we wait another 30 min for the pizza. We declined because we had 3 hungry crying kids in the car. Thanks Joes!

I've eaten at Joes many times over the past few years and it is always very good. I love their pepperoni calzone. It is just the best in town. Their pizza is very good too. They also make a chicken fettuccini Alfredo that is very good. Their food is consistently good. The place is clean and the prices are fair.

The absolute BEST pizza in Abilene. They will put feta cheese on my pizza, which is amazing!!

A little pricey (stromboli, salad, and a drink will run you over $10), but great food and great people. The salad bar is a little small but everything on it is fresh and good! Great location!

This is my favorite pizza place in Abilene. The pizza and calzones remind me of the food we got when we lived in Sicily. The men are always friendly and glad we are there! We eat there frequently and have never had a reason to complain! Keep up the good work, friends!

Best pie since being stationed in NJ. Wonderful owners. Pies are are by the slice or whole. The bread is amazing. Highly recommend this place to any other pizza joint. Skip the chain places.

I love the chicken Albanese they have here! It has a WONDERFUL flavor. It's my favorite item! However, when you order your food to go, make sure you grab some utensils (if the food you order requires them like the Albanese does), because they do not put them in the bag! I found that out the hard way when I ordered mine and my kids' orders to go so we could have a picnic in the park. After we got there, I had nothing to eat my food with. Plus I asked for extra bread in place of the salad that comes with the meal so we could feed the birds, and I didn't get it...or the salad either. It was a bummer. Otherwise.....5 stars!

Usually a good place. Went there today and found two strands of hair in the Marsala I ordered. Gross!

We got one piece of cheese pizza for our 5 year old daughter. We were charged $47.52. When we went back to have them fix their mistake they adamantly refused. Their receipts do no say what you purchased so they were not going to refund our money. When they were told the cops were on their way they changed their tune but were not pleasant about it. Do NOT eat here!

Joe's is just up the street from work so it's a great place for lunch. The pizza is always great and their special can't be beat; two slices a salad and a drink!! When it's my turn to cook I won't lie Joe's comes to mind more often than not. If you're looking for a great lunch or bringing home dinner you can't go wrong with Joe's.

Nasty. If I could rate it 0, I would! The pizza was burnt, felt like eating cardboard, breadsticks were dry. And when U take a bite? Be ready for a grease ring around UR lips! Horrible. This is the 2nd time I have said it & now I'm REALLY never going back. Check out Dante's in the mall. WAY better pizza.

I love Joes their food is absolutely amazing! You can taste the freshness and authenticity of the products!!!! From pizza to pastas, Joes serves the best! Sonny and his team are awesome, especially their young cook Donny, he continues to wow me with his amazing dishes!! LOVE LOVE LOVE JOES!!!!
