Where to Order Chinese Takeout and Delivery in Philadelphia - Eater Philly

"Tucked away in a South Jersey strip mall, Joe’s Peking Duck House has served its coveted duck for decades, in addition to dozens of delectable dishes like salt-baked shrimp, duck fried rice, wonton soup, and congee of all varieties. If dim sum is what you crave, place an order on Saturday or Sunday when the dim sum menu is available. For now, Joe’s is only offering takeout and is cash only." - Jillian Wilson

We enjoyed a nice sit down Chinese meal in this small but clean and comfortable strip mall locale. We were immediately served hot tea before out meal, a nice touch, rare to find since Covid, as are pure sit down Chinese restaurants. We started off with pan fried and steamed soup dumplings, both were nicely cooked and had tasty meat fillings, we then had Peking beef, chicken and shrimp with water chestnuts, house special lo mein, pork fried rice, sautéed string beans in garlic sauce and a sesame chicken, all were above average except for the sesame chicken which was chewy, stringy and too sweet, the poor execution of this wound up with the establishment losing a star. Everything else was good or above average including the friendly service and hospitality.

If you’re in Marlton, NJ and craving flavorful Chinese cuisine, Joe’s Peking Duck House is a must-visit. It’s a local favorite for a reason, offering large portions of high-quality, delicious food at a price that feels more than fair. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s one of those places that’s been consistently good for years. The menu is packed with classic Chinese dishes, and everything I’ve tried has been rich in flavor and made with care. Whether you’re ordering the namesake Peking duck, lo mein, dumplings, or any of the chef’s specials, the flavors are bold, well-balanced, and always satisfying. The portion sizes are generous, perfect for sharing or having leftovers to take home and you get a lot of food for your money. It’s the kind of place where you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. The vibe is cozy and traditional, and the service is friendly and efficient. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, they keep things running smoothly even during busy hours. If you’re in the Marlton area, Joe’s Peking Duck House is hands-down one of the best spots for Chinese food. Affordable, consistently tasty, and plenty to go around, it’s no wonder it’s such a beloved neighborhood staple.

These people already have a ton of good reviews and so it's pointless for me to add one but...I usually eat in Philly but we had things to do in jersey and this place popped up. Plenty of parking in the lot which is a plus over Philly. We walked in around 1:30 on Father's Day, so it was busy but we got seated right away. Very friendly greeting. Everyone was nice which sometimes is lacking in many Chinese restaurants because they're like our food is good and that's all you need. Place was very clean inside, including the bathrooms. We got duck roll app which was as good, if not better than Philly. We got won ton soup which was great. The broth AND the won tons. We got beef ho fun which was perfect. We got roast duck and roast pork combo. We also got clams in black bean sauce which was like the best I ever had. Worth driving from Philly for this place.

Google
First time here. Recommended by a friend. Place was absolutely phenomenal all around - food, service, and setting. Very clean. Servers work as a team and are a well-oiled machine. Efficient and very courteous. My friend and I (we ordered a lot) had duck rolls, spring rolls, juicy dumplings, wontons in chili oil, Szechuan beef udon, shrimp fried rice, lemon chicken, and sesame chicken. Everything was amazing. The chicken was fried perfectly and was light. The beef udon was incredible. All of that food and 2 sodas was $115 before tip. Brought a lot home. Can’t wait to go back and I am 32 minutes from Joe’s Peking Duck House. Owner is very nice also.

Google
Excellent Cantonese style food, the best in South Jersey!! Owner and entire staff are amazing, friendly and always smiling. Great place to enjoy a meal, serving sizes are amazing, we are weekly customers

Google
This is a great place to find real Cantonese food, for those who have no tried it before highly recommend you do, it’s so much lightly and healthier then some of the other styles of Chinese food that you can find. The staff were so friendly here, the family that run this are clearly very involved in the community and really take the time to make you feel welcome. They are cash only.

Google
Food is quite under-seasoned. The chow fun needs to be saltier, but chicken is good, not dry. The pecking duck roll is pretty bad imo: the pancake is too thick, the duck doesn't taste quite the same as typical pecking duck. Maybe because we are ordering individual roll instead of half/whole duck. Cash only! Price is affordable. Place is not too big.

Google
My expectations were potentially way too high after reading so many fantastic reviews on social media. We dined in and ordered beef chow fun with veggies, green beans with minced pork, sesame chicken, 3 kinds of soup, and pan fried pork dumplings. The sesame chicken was a huge hit, as was the wonton with vegetables. Both were fresh and really flavorful. The rest of our food I’d call slightly above average. The service was fast and everyone was very friendly. I definitely will try it again in the future and hopefully get that experience that so many others have described! I completely missed that it was cash only, so hopefully this review will help someone else not make the same mistake.

Yelp
We absolutely love this place for authentic Cantonese cuisine! We've been loyal customers for over a decade. We know the staff--Jack, John, and Elaine--quite well, and they can almost guess our order when we walk in. The food is consistently excellent. Our favorite dishes are the salted fish fried rice and flounder, either in XO sauce or hot pot. We usually start with salt-baked squid and pan-fried dumplings. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try--you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
I've been a Joe's fan since 1984, when he opened his first restaurant in Chinatown. This suburban New Jersey location has had its ups and downs over the years. The menu is less ambitious and the food coming out of the kitchen has occasionally been too bland, but as other good Hong Kong-style noodle houses have shown up to offer competition, then closed, Joe's has survived and thrived. You can't go wrong here ordering traditional noodle house dishes like soups, chow fun, mei fun, roast duck, char siu, and dumplings. We are partial to the Needle Noodle with Shrimp & Pork, though they now include baby shrimp unless you request jumbos (for a fee -- worth it!). The sleeper hit: flounder in scallion and ginger sauce with tender greens. Yum.

Yelp
I think it's been 10+ years since I've been here. I need to get this place back in my rotation. It's cash only and I don't think they make that very clear. If there was a sign I missed it. I knew from reading the reviews. We did the Peking duck for two. It was $60 and came with a ton of food. It starts with a big bowl of their wonton noodle soup. The wontons are pork and shrimp. The addition of ramen noodles was different. The vegetables were fresh. We each had two small bowls and still took some home. After the soup they brought out the Peking duck with steam bread - very light and thin. And of course the green onions and hoisin sauce. I thought the duck was cooked perfectly. Next was steamed vegetables in a brown sauce and house special fried rice. This really helped to break up the heaviness of the duck. The rice was very flavorful and had a lot of pork, shrimp, egg and vegetables. The steamed vegetables were fresh. The service was great. They were definitely on top of water refills!! They get you in and out pretty quickly but you don't feel rushed. The place was jam packed. By the time we finished, people were waiting for tables.

Yelp
Exceptional service at Joe's Peking Duck House! After countless rave reviews left on South Jersey Food Scene Facebook page, we finally made plans to dine at Joe's. We arrived at 3:30pm on a Sunday and there were a decent amount of customers for it being in between lunch and dinner. The dining area was on the smaller side and tables were close together, so it could get pretty cramped with a full house. There were 4 of us and our plans were to order a handful of different items and share everything. We were helped by 3 different people, all of whom were extra kind, patient, and accommodating. They made themselves available frequently to refill glasses and to take away dirty plates. We started with Scallion Pancakes and Wonton Noodle soup. For entrees we had 1/4 of the Peking Duck, Moo Shu Pork served with crepes, Stir Fry Noodles with Soy Sauce, and Beef with Snow Peas and Mushrooms. The Scallion Pancakes were a little disappointing and heavy. I like when they're light and flakey, but my grandmother loved them so to each their own. I loved the Wonton Noodle Soup. This was wonton soup with a twist (these wontons were big and stuffed with pork and shrimp) as there were also egg noodles (I believe) accompanying the wontons. The duck was beautiful and crispy, definitely something I'd order again. My aunt is a big fan of Moo Shu Pork and loved the warm, thin crepes it was served with. The Stir Fry Noodles were a big hit with everyone at our table. We actually all really enjoyed everything we ordered (aside from a few of us preferring other restaurant's scallion pancakes over these). We were very happy with our visit. The portion sizes were big and between 4 of us we had leftovers to bring home. The price was very reasonable for what we ordered (just under $100) especially for the quality. The service was outstanding and the employees were so kind. We will definitely be back in the near future and I'm honestly shocked it took so long for me to finally try Joe's Peking Duck House.

Yelp
Had another great light dinner last night. Had the wonton soup with lots of wontons and delicious broth and the house fried rice, great combo.

Yelp
Let's start with ambiance/location: located in a strip mall with many other shops. The restaurant itself is small, maybe can seat 30-35 people at a time. Looks like a typical Chinese restaurant. Staff is friendly and attentive. We waited about 20 minutes for our seat, not bad considering it was a Friday night. Now to the food: total cost was $137.50 not including tip. We ordered fish maw soup, dumplings, chicken fried rice, chicken with XO sauce, sizzling beef, seafood crispy noodles, and salt baked shrimp, scallops and squid. My favorite dishes were the seafood dishes but everything was so delicious! My daughter is a very picky eater and she loved the chicken dishes. The soup was a little bland and needed soy sauce with jalapeños (they used to serve this soup at every Cambodian wedding that came with a side of jalapeños dipped in soy sauce). This was our second time there and we will be returning. The first time we went, the only dish we weren't a fan of was the grandfather's chicken - it was too sweet but that's how it's made so no fault of the chef.

Yelp
Outstanding meal with friends. Every dish was cooked and seasoned to perfection . Joe's Peking Duck house has always been our " go to" Chinese restaurant. There is an ATM on the premises. They do not accept cards.

Yelp
Very strange place. Takes cash only but didn't provide my receipt. I got 3 appetizers and was charged $29, the dumplings seemed much bigger in the picture, but they came out very very tiny. I order Peking Duck Rolls, I may not know much about rolls, but they served mine in a tortilla like form unfried, tasted very unfinished. However, the duck was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. So can't argue. Dim sum was good but wish they were alittle bigger. The picture on the menu is misleading. I would give it another shot for a half duck to save a trip to the city.

Yelp
Unless Im recommended a Chinese restaurant, I wont go to a new one. (Stick with Elena Wu, Mayflower). I saw Joe's on South Jersey Food Group on Facebook. Then, of course, I sought Yelp! Joe's is in a big, fantastic, shopping center that I frequent somewhat. Never noticed it (on the far end). No big deal to look at but you know that story! We were warmly welcomed and quickly served. My go to - shrimp w lobster sauce over white rice - was absolutely delicious! Josepp's Grandfather chicken - same! We also split the fried dumpling app. Amazing!

Yelp
3.5 but can't account for half stars. Was over shopping at the tj maxx and decided to stop in for some takeout after hearing all the good reviews. I got the roasted duck soup to go. Note this place is cash only (I did not see this until I went to pay...they do have an atm in the back $2 service charge). Soup broth was pretty flavorful and I asked for extra veggies which I think was an extra charge. Roasted duck was good but not a super huge portion. Staff was friendly and attentive, I did think it was a little pricey overall (but I guess they know that they can get it in Marlton), but I would come back and try other things if I was in the area. If given the choice I would probably just go to Chinatown but again if local a good place I would return to...super crowded on a Friday night with dine in and people stopping in for takeout.

Yelp
We like this place. It's cash only which is the only inconvenient thing about it. But the dishes are great. That is what is most important

Yelp
I have stopped at JPDH many time over the years and I always get the full/whole Peking duck and then some other items. Today, I picked up the full duck, house fried rice, string beans with minced pork and the deep fried spareribs. As always, everything was delicious. The duck is perfection and comes with plenty of slices of bao, green onion and hoisin sauce. The string beans with minced pork is crazy good and the house fried rice was packed with delicious bits of meat, shrimp and veg. Finally, the deep fried spareribs were a treat - crunchy exterior and soft tender interior - delicious. Joe's Peking Duck House is a 10/10 every time!

Yelp
Our favorite Chinese restaurant near cherry hill. If you're craving roast duck or Peking duck and don't wanna drive into Philly this is the place to go. Decent portions and quality is good. Service is so fast they are attentive and open late. Black beans clams is also a must order from here. We've come here many times since moving from north jersey and will be back. They are bash only and located in a large plaza so plenty of parking. Owner is very friendly. If you can get here for lunch their deals and prices are even better!!
google avatar

Samir C.

Yelp
This place only takes cash. I had to run to a ATM. Unfortunately the dishes we had were not good. We threw the chow fun out after one bite. It smelled and tasted wrong. Stay away. The fried fish was below average. The egg drop soup was ok but a little too thick.
google avatar

Anita A.

Yelp
Restaurant was packed during lunar new year every year. I always order take out because there's always a long wait and the tables are too close together for my comfort. Shrimp walnut - shrimps were huge and a bit crispy when fresh. Fish fillet in garlic sauce. This is a make your own dish. I put in water chestnut, snow peas and broccoli. Soy sauce stir fry egg noodle. Even though there's no meat, this dish tastes so good with scallion and bean sprout. Cash only! Leave yourself some extra time if you're in a rush so you don't get aggravated for a long wait for both sit in or take out.

Yelp
My friends brought me to Joe's for dinner while I was in town. This is family style dishes, Chinese food cuisines!! (Oh, they take ONLY CASH and it's BYOB too!) Our party called ahead as we were 10. They had our table ready as we entered. I can't even remember what dishes were ordered; my friends were ordering so fast and they ordered multiple of the same dishes. All I remember ordering was fried rice and Honey Walnut Shrimp. The staff was super friendly and the kitchen whipped up our dishes super fast! Each dishes were so delicious and tasty. It has become one of my favorite spots here in South Jersey!!

Yelp
The best of all, waitstaff knowledgeable, helpful and good natured. Food some of the best Cantonese I ever had: Hong Kong style crispy duck, salt&pepper fried oyster and special it was the star of nite, lobster Cantonese and saiteed greens. Run don't walk u will thank me later

Marissa C.

Yelp
Perhaps my new favorite place near work! The duck udon was amazing. Great service. Cash only. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
I think 3.8-4 stars is fair. Our typical Chinese take out was closed so we decided to try this out. First of all, everything on the menu is a la cart so don't expect it to be typical Chinese take out. Another words, there are no lunch or dinner combo specials. The food is decent but it is on the pricey side. I've had comparable Chinese food for way less the price. 2nd of all, make sure you have cash bc they do not accept anything else. Lastly, it's pretty pricey. I enjoyed the ma po with pork. No one in my family likes bean curd so it was nice to enjoy something I love. We also ordered chicken and broccoli, beef chow fun, wonton soup, and lo mein. Nothing fancy but again, decent tasting food. Idk if I'll go back considering how expensive it was but overall the food is good.

Cindy G.

Yelp
I will say when they first opened years ago they were good. I got take out a couple weeks ago ( cash only for eat in and take out) and I didn't even eat it Was not good at all A few appetizers abs two main dishes- I had family in town and non of us thought it was good. I called to tell them one of the sauces was the wrong one and was told I don't know what I'm talking about and next time don't order that. I won't because I will never go back!! The sauce btw was general tso but they gave me sweet and sour complete with onion and green pepper which they insist is general tso. If that's the case all the other restaurants have it wrong but I doubt that!
google avatar

Iris K.

Yelp
Cash only establishment! Staff are all so warm and welcoming. My family has been going here for over a decade. It's our favorite chinese restaurant in the area for sure. Our most frequent orders are: wonton soup, whole steamed fish, beef chow fun, salt baked seafood, shrimp fried rice, black bean clams!! everything is soo good, highly recommend. Weekends are busy when we go for dinner so we will usually call in advance to make a reservation.

Kevin M.

Yelp
updated...got take out today Fried rice so greasy couldn't eat, sweet/sour chicken all breading (and greasy as well) not sure who was cooking today but that was $30 in garbage can.
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
A very small but cute restaurant tucked in a very large plaza. We got take out to celebrate my moms birthday l. We were excited to try a new Chinese restaurant with a ton of great reviews. The food is mid at best. We got the Yi Mein (mid), salt pepper calamari (needs seasoning), char siu (omg flavor off), Peking duck (very mid). Since we did take out, can't speak to the service really. The food was packaged well and we got a lot of fortune cookies. However, we'll travel a little further to cherry hill or Chinatown for better Chinese food.
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
Small family owned business with excellent food and service to match. I especially love the crispy duck, soup with vegetables and duck. Tonight my friend had the jumbo shrimp with walnuts and broccoli. Wow just great. Never had a bad meal. Large portions too Just remember, they are a cash only establishment

Sharren F.

Yelp
Five star gets my vote! Quality foods whenever we go. Our favorite Chinese restaurant . Service is good . We call it the Chinese diner, no ambiance. *****

Yelp
heard great things about their dim sum and duck so we decided to give this place a shot! we got the duck for 2 ($44) which came with wonton noodle soup, fried rice, half peking duck and "Fresh fruit". I also ordered the black bean clam dish The wonton noodle soup was good! I liked the amount of noodle, wonton and the broth was tasty. The fried rice was also tasty and a good portion. The duck was crispy but i wish it was a little bit juicier. I didn't like the buns it came with, they're flat and not very plush. I'm a huge sang kee fan and these didn't match up to their standards but it was decent for south jersey. The black bean clam dish was delicious! Lots of clam and sauce and they also gave us a vegetable dish which was very yummy. The "seasonal fresh fruit" was just a couple slices of orange by the way so don't expect like an actual fruit dish. all in all, service was very friendly and attentive, food was tasty (a little on the pricey side but good portions) and too be honest there's not too much good asian food in south jersey but this definitely is on the top 10! i need to come back to try their dim sum on the weekend
google avatar

Abigail g.

Yelp
Sit down, family style, tasty Chinese food. I'm already thinking about going back. Highly recommend the steam juicy pork dumplings. It tastes like wonton soup in a dumpling, just heavenly!!! Great selection of noodles. The lunch special is definitely enough for two and is served with white rice. NOTE- CASH ONLY!! They have an atm on premise. The environment isn't the most eye appealing but the food is delicious and prepared fast.

Yelp
Fabulous cuisine. Freshly prepared and authentic dishes. Very clean, friendly and fast service. Welcoming atmosphere.

Yelp
Food and the service is very good You must bring cash because credit cards aren't accepted. The restaurant is loud and boisterous. The restaurant is small and the foodservice is is fast and plentiful.

Youngmee K.

Yelp
I've been going to this restaurant for about 10 years. This Thxgiving weekend, We called ahead for a dinner party of 8. Place filled up quickly after we arrived. All of the Servers were very attentive filling up water and tea kettle multiple times. The highlight of our meal was the Peking duck; it is the best. Dumplings noodle soup is good with chili oil. Pork Fried rice was very good too.
google avatar

Ashley N.

Yelp
Joe's is a reliable spot for Chinese food - the service is quick, the food comes out so fast, and every dish is solid! Seafood soup 4/5: Nice mild seafood flavor (my family always adds red vinegar and chili oil) with generous portions of shrimp and scallop inside Half duck 5/5: I was worried this might not be enough food for my family of 5 but if you think of it as an appetizer and not an entree, it definitely is. The duck is so fatty and rich it's pretty filling anyway. It comes with steamed bread, scallion, hoisin sauce, and slices of duck with crispy skin. Must get! Fried rice 5/5: I feel like fried rice is often overlooked but it is SO GOOD here. You can taste the wok flavor and it's seasoned perfectly Beef chow fun 4/5: everything was cooked well but I just wanted more seasoning Seafood combo hot pot 3.5/5: similar to above, everything was cooked nicely but I wanted more flavor! They give you orange slices and fortune cookies for dessert. Come visit the next time you're craving Chinese!

Yelp
The owner, Jack, took my complaint seriously when I let him know that I was missing a few items in my order. He apologized and also offered some compensations. Later on, when I realized that I was the one who made the mistake, I called him back to apologize and he was kind enough to be understanding. I will be a returning customer just for that reason. Not to mention that their Peking duck is one of the better ones in the area and so it's definitely worthwhile to go there.
google avatar

Kim F.

Yelp
Great food! Shared the Beef sauteed with XO sauce and grandfather chicken. Great portions. The beef was very tender and the sauce is amazing. It's on top of sauteed vegetables. A lot of asparagus, which I like. The grandfather chicken is general tsos chicken, but so much better. You could tell many regulars come to this restaurant. This restaurant is cash only.
google avatar

Danielle N.

Yelp
The food was really good. All items pictured were so yummy. The crispy skin on the duck was amazing! The stuff was nice, but I did have to takeoff one star since the owner took our order. When he saw that we were five people ordering the large bowl of soup he said that he would adjust the soup portion to accommodate for five people at our table because the soup was only meant for 2 to 3. What he meant by that and failed to mention was that he was actually placing a second order of soup for us, and put it on our bill without telling us. Other than that the staff was very nice, and the food was amazing and I would return again. Just make sure you know what you were getting when talking to your server.
google avatar

Yelp
Always solid. Not greasy. Not cheap. Fresh Chinese American classics. Gets really busy and loud inside. A family favorite for probably 30 years!

Yelp
Wow! This is my sister's favorite Chinese restaurant. Any time we are back in New Jersey she must go. I can now see why. It was absolutely packed & had order after order of take out streaming out as well. Very attentive staff and a kitchen that cranked out the food piping hot made it a "rapid for" experience. They told us it would come as ready. Luckily the first item served was hot & sour soup. Steaming hot, rich deep broth and lots of tofu and mushrooms - Yum! Large bowl served the 5 of us! Appetizers were fantastic - especially the "juicy dumplings ". I ordered Peking Duck - the House Specialty. It did not disappoint! Crispy, flavorful with an amazing sliced bun. Chicken fried rice was great - light and loaded with chicken - not at all greasy. Huge portion. Lemon chicken and Szechuan beef noodle bowl were also great! Only mediocre dish was sweet and sour pork - sauce was too thick and pork a bit cold, Net all in a definite drive out of the way repeat!

Yelp
Amazing food, and the owner is very nice. The staff is amazing and goes above and beyond very friendly and welcoming people and I feel very comfortable there when I eat. Best Chinese restaurant ever hand down love it so much. I have nothing bad to say about this establishment and the people who run it

Yelp
The food is incredible !!! I haven't gotten a dish I didn't like. My family and I go to Joe's for authentic cuisine

Philip K.

Yelp
Yum! It was so tasty. I have been going here for many years; it is consistently good and not a chain.

Debbie E.

Yelp
We have been going to Joe's well over 25 years. Their food is always delicious & beautifully prepared! They are consistently good & NEVER disappoint!! Service is always spot on. You don't have to ask for anything more than once. Since Covid, we have been doing mostly take out. Orders have always been accurate. I highly recommend their hot and sour soup with chicken.... Honestly, we have never had a bad meal at Joe's Peking Duck House. Patrick is a true professional and knows how to successfully run a restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit.
google avatar

Mike A.

Yelp
Peking Duck was a first for me. Jack the owner explained how the crispy skin and boneless pieces are served. Provided is thinly sliced bread with scallions and a sauce to wedge the duck into. Vegetables are also included. It was AMAZING! I also had the spare ribs which were done to perfection and I was happy they were NOT drenched in that red sauce so you could taste the sweetness of the barbecue pork. All in all a bit pricy but worth every penny. Note it is cash only. I will be back for sure!
google avatar

Katie Z.

Yelp
Super attentive service with fantastic food! Quality was top notch with everything freshly made. So much food; leftover in to go containers a must. So many options; will need to go back to try something new!
google avatar

Andrew M.

Yelp
Joe's Peking Duck House..had ducks but maybe post Covid ducks. We went on a Friday night and the locals were in full force. Ok...the food is 75% authentic but it is damn good! Staff is salt of the earth and I can't wait to go back.

Pedro P.

Yelp
Cash only :( but no signs Service excellent Food very good but I take away one star because I think they heavily use MSG Seafood soup good, soup dumplings I believe not fresh, beef in xo sauce excellent, pan fried seafood noodles excellent and squid in curry excellent Seems all Chinese food now expensive Comparable to NYC Chinatown

Ali G.

Yelp
This place is a joke; we were not treated well here at all. Weren't offered chopsticks or sauces for the table, yet every single table around us had them. All of our food came out hot, but was not much more impressive than your typical take-out spot. Everything we ordered that was labeled spicy arrived beyond mild, and the ground pork definitely was not just ground pork--tasted like it was heavily mixed with breadcrumbs. And NO rice with your entrees????? It's SO expensive for mediocrity. We were also told it was cash only when it is not stated upfront. The sushi place next door is better.

Yelp
Food is great! HOWEVER! Please note two things: 1) Cash only 2)Their website hasn't been updated in a few years, therefore the prices in their site is not what is today. I found this out by calling and asking about it. They should place a notice on their website on Facebook or somewhere notifying about the prices not being correct, it is misleading to the customers. Which is a fair complaint. Whoever answered the phone had an attitude about it, and rambled on. That alone has made me not order from this place in the future, which is unfortunate since their food is decent. Be warned if you are overcharged for your take out orders To the person who works there and answered the phone, be more professional on your conduct with customers and perhaps that will avoid a negative review

Yelp
Food is great but buyer beware. They know full well that the prices shown on their website are no longer valid. They don't tell you when you order but surprise you when you get there. And it is much higher and cash only by the way. More than 20% higher than the online prices shown. I felt totally ripped off and won't be back. Absolutely ridiculous way to do business.

Yelp
Whether you just want some soup and appys or a full meal, always satisfied...our go to always!! Fast service, Jack is always there with a smile and well wishes. Don't think we've ever had a bad meal here in 20+ years.

Yelp
Have been coming here for over 30 years and usually very satisfied with their food. Tonight we did a carry out order of sesame chicken, which is usually good, but this was inedible. It tasted like it had been sitting around for several days, Each piece of meat was tougher than the last. No sauce, no sesame seeds. A major disappointment. Will not be returning to JPDH any time soon. Soup and spring rolls ok. Tender greens so-so.
