Today I had a cancellation of an appointment so I decided it was the day to try Joes Pizzeria in Flemington. I had been there years ago but went back to check it out again . First, the place was very friendly.. the staff all seemed to get along and I noticed overhearing some conversations that lots of the patrons were working people who go there frequently to eat and chat . Looks like a good place to hang with buddies or a family in a warm friendly pizza place..Lots of buddy convo going on as well as lots of assorted pies to select from, and yes some a bit different than I’ve seen around lately in most places. The slices were a decent size and reasonably priced as well . Since it’s more active than most Pizzerias I’ve been to, nothing looks old on the counter.. as a matter of fact, I was there just as the pepperoni n sausage pies came out of the oven, so I took a sausage slice and enjoyed it .. I might have come back to try a more unusual topping next time and I’m sure there’s a next time. They know enough not to totally cover all the pie with cheese, so you can taste the sauce too. They offer a few unusual selections daily one popular example was a grilled chicken pesto Sun dried tomatoes creation among others . They put lots of toppings on not just a touch!
I’d say give it a try .. I think you’ll be back for more, I know I plan to !
