Best cheesesteak I've had in awhile. Founded in 1949 by Samuel Sherman as 'Chink's Steaks'. Now ran by Joe Groh, but enough history -- Try their milkshakes, they're big! We got a Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake and their original cheesesteak with nothing added or taken away. Delicious! Be prepared for tight parallel parking outside on the street.

We were searching for a local steakshop with gluten free/vegan cheese options due to health concerns. The staff were very knowledgable. They were out of gf bread due to local bakery oven problems, but made excellent substitution. Food was incredible, dairy free shake was delicious too. The regular food was great too according to the rest of our group. Next time we are in Philly we will come back!

Visited for takeout on Sunday 4/10 and waited about 15 minutes for my food. Ordered the steak egg and cheese 10’’ (with American and fried onions), cheesesteak 6’’ (with wiz and fried onions) and an order of cheese fries. This has to be my favorite cheesesteak experience so far. The sandwiches are loaded with meat, the rolls are soft but firm, and you are satisfied when you are done. Spent $32 and also got a fountain drink. Highly recommend!

I'm not a cheesesteak professional and have only eaten a couple. That being said, I ordered a cheesesteak with provolone and mushrooms. What a combo! The steak itself was very tasty and not too fatt or messy.. The mushrooms melted with he provolone complimented each other very well. The bread definitely is what brought in the whole flavor of the cheesesteak. Also they make very sweet and delicious milkshakes. Would recommend!

This was my first time having a Philly cheesesteak and this place was definitely worth it!! We just happened to come on a Wednesday when they have $7 cheesesteaks. I would definitely come back here if I was ever in the area! Tip: *get extra cheese whiz!*

Best philly cheesesteaks I've had! I got one steak and one chicken, with peppers on the side. Best decision yet. I would definitely recommend it for others. I also got a orange dreamsicle milkshake and it was delicious! Great experience and friendly staff all around. Cute and old fashioned setting as well!

Very good Philly Cheesesteaks, had one with sausage in it and that was the bomb! Will try their shakes next time

First time I order from there I expect that I a simple order like a chicken cheese steak with mayo ketchup and mushrooms can be done correctly I ordered in house and waited was not too busy when I placed the order I was only one in the place, but it proved more difficult then the 3 girls behind the counter could handle, my printed ticket that they work off of, was correct which means Tara m, did her job the only one who did and should be the only that gets the 4 dollar tip left on a 31.00 take out order .. I also had specific questions about the chicken cheese steak being in chunks I HATE CHUNCKS IN MY CHEESE STEAKS... I WOULD DEFIANTLY NOT HAVE ORDERED IT.. They assured me it's real chicken, but like the steaks the cut it done... awesome since I don't eat red meat and if I want to taste chicken breast I would order a chicken breast sandwich grilled... some people really don't know what a good cheese steak I should just drove the #chubby's. At least it would been made correctly...so disappointed with local steak shop and sad to know that apparently the girls are worried more about each other long fingernails then they are about reading the food tickets and getting the orders done correctly...wont be going for a 2nd chance on this one, but I do have to say the rest of the order was fine the cheese steak for my son, was done as ordered and my grandsons hot dog was done, but on this day we were also disappointed that we pay that much money and can't even get French fries since the fryer was broken, and I was told by my neighbor it s been broken for a couple days... hmmm sad... disappointing.. my dogs will be getting a nice 8 meal tonight large chunks of chicken... or the feral cats outside cause I surely cannot eat this with my health issues ... thanks for wasting my money and time in your establishment and now I am starving as I was when decided to walk through yours doors....
