John & Peter's Place

NEW HOPE, PA: John And Peter's is famous for being a music club for over 50 years and they are also a restaurant with an outdoor patio that is dog friendly! With the eye-catching colors of the building and the Best Burger in Town banner, we were drawn right in to have dinner and we were happy to see another dog enjoying the day with their owner and even a pet ferret was a special guest with their family. Rocking an old-school and divey ambience, this place was popular on a chilly day with many people enjoying the large food menu, full bar, and colorful characters. With the area of New Hope becoming more upscale, this place is keeping going by doing what they do best, by keeping the bohemian spirit of New Hope going.

Very small bar area, where band merch is sold too. downstairs is the music. Low ceiling for the stage area was odd as one band member had to stoop. Overall was kinda uncomfortable place to watch a band. Bathrooms are tiny and right in the crowd area.

Regional live music mecca with local/chill dive bar vibes. I've enjoyed gigging there over the years with The Fletchers and rocking out to other cool bands as well as at the Invitational. It's a stone groove and fun hang.

Great food great atmosphere. The music is incredible. Really loved the pulled pork and tater tot’s. That was just incredible. A great bar with a lot of history. One of those go to places a New Hope.

I was there with friends. The waitress was great. The atmosphere and band was great. I ordered onions rings and half of them were fried so hard that I would have broke a tooth if I tried to eat them. Maybe some of their other food is better but I'm not ordering the onion rings again 😉

Stopped in for a quick bite. My wife loved the burger and tots, I had a cheese steak (wit) which was also delicious. Would definitely return next time we’re in the area!

Great food,atmosphere, drinks and attitude. Always has been and will be a great iconic bar in new hope

My favorite Bar in New Hope. Awesome staff, food is great and the downstairs is an excellent place to catch some live music. It's our go to whenever in the area.
