The sandwiches and foods are okay, at least you get what you paid for and they are reasonable.
Seriously disappointed in the customer service that this place gives me.
This place told me specifically that it is $15 for credit card service. Not delivery. This is why I tried to keep cash as much as possible.
When I came into the store to do take out, they were like giving me a strict tone asking me to hurry up when they didn't give that tone to other customers. It was only like 30 seconds that I had to decide too, which was a bit unfair. It took like 15 minutes until I got my sandwich, and the two people got theirs faster than I did. So I felt like I didn't get enough time to have my sandwich for lunch break.
I've decided to call during the take out to save up more time on the next time I ordered. When I did, they told me 10 minutes and I was there within 15 minutes even though they said 10. Then when I was there, they weren't ready. They told me that I have to wait for another 10 minutes. Really? I called in to do take out and gave them 15 minutes. Also when I told them my name, they were like "I don't think we have you" at first but they checked once more and they told me that I had to wait longer. I told them that I came in at the time they told me to show up, and the worker was like, "You called in for order at the busiest time. You are gonna have to wait." So I just didn't have enough time to eat again.
Third time, I've called in for breakfast delivery, and they told me that credit card with delivery was $15. So I said I'll just pay by cash. They didn't ask further questions and they delivered the food after an hour. It was quite late, but it was fine since it was less than $15 where I could have paid for extra stuffs that I didn't need.
Fourth time, I've called in for breakfast delivery again. The lady on the phone was extremely rude, and gave a harsh tone, and asked me to pay $15. And I told her that I didn't need to pay $15 last time and I told her that I was notified that it was $15 delivery with credit card. She didn't respond for a bit and told me that I had to pay $15 next time. Really? Like I have to pay $15? - Food was late, and half cooked. I feel like they kind of gave me a finger because I didn't pay $15 and they were giving me along the message: "you didnt follow our new policy to change prices whenever we feel like it." - also might I like to add, that they charged $2.50 on the delivery fee because they assumed I wasn't going to pay the delivery fee. I gave the delivery guy $3.00 for a tip. I didn't give more tip this time because they decided to charge me through the receipt instead. I have no reason to. This was my last straw.
I ate at Se-Port Deli in Port Jefferson and they don't do deliveries, but they always got things done and were always nice and prepared on time for take out. Since this seemed to be the most fair and good deli in my work area, I tried to order here - but this is a major disappointment.
Like I love the food here, but the way people treat customers like a grumpy harsh tone - I don't feel like coming here. I usually give places one or three more chances depending on how they do, and this is definitely one of those places I gave several chances.
