"This friendly neighborhood Irish pub is housed in a former fire station just off of Marietta Square. Look for over 70 beers on tap here, ranging from Carlsberg, Smithwick’s, and Guinness to a local Irish wheat, chocolate nitro stout, and a kolsch. As for food, expect classics like corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, and a Scots-Irish breakfast plate, along with burgers, chili cheese fries, and even po’boys. Try the Irish nachos or tater tots topped with beer-steamed corned beef and Irish cheddar cheese. Johnnie MacCracken’s often hosts live music and offers a daily Irish happy hour with specials." - Denise K. James, Eater Staff

Absolutely LOVED Johnnie MacCrackens!! Was visiting Marietta from California from work and i ended up coming here three nights to sample the great beer selection and food. The locals were very friendly and i had some great conversations. The atmosphere was awesome and there were lots of rooms to explore and hang out in as well as an awesome back patio. Loved the beer selection.

This place has really cool decor, lots of historical stuff and jokes. It actually used to be the old firehouse for Marietta. The food was fine, we both had the fish and chips which were greasy, as is to be expected. One of the bartenders was pretty short and rude, the others were fine

For me, this place gets 5 stars for what it is, a local hole-in-the wall with cheap good eats, late into the night, fire out back, and solid place to take out-of-towners for a local experience and vibe. I also recommend the whiskey tasting, which we did with a sausage tasting pairing. There are several different options offered for private tastings if you message them on Facebook, and Gary, the owner is very accommodating. We had a great time, and it’s one of my top 5 unique Atlanta food and beverage experiences under $50 per person. I like sitting out by the fire on a cold night with cheap drinks and getting a $7 pizza when everything else is shut down, or getting their fish and chips, tater tots, or a stellar burger. I wish they would bring the fried green tomatoes back. This is also the kind of place that’s fun to hit before or after a bougie night out doing a wine tasting or fancy dinner at Spring or Hamp and Harry’s to keep the night going.

Johnny McCracken's for the WIN! We haven't been here in a few years. We decided to go the traditional Fish & Chips and Sheperds Pie route.

Amazing food and AMAZING SERVICE!! I went in to pick up my order today and the guy in the kitchen asked me if I was in a rush, then told me the tater tots for my Irish nachos were a little too crispy and offered to remake them. I told him it was fine and he had me try a couple to make sure I liked them before I got my order. Needless to say, they tasted great and it was extremely kind of him to offer to remake them. Love this place!!

Outstanding service. Comfy atmosphere. Reminded me of Temple Bar in Dublin.

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon with some coworkers for a drink. From the time you walk in, its a total pub feel. A great selection of traditional English and Irish beers as well as local brews. Plenty to choose from. The food menu is concise and diverse. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and the meat was wonderfully tender. Service was great and the beer garden space, out back, was decorated with smatterings of England, Ireland, beach, and American party themes. I didn't stay too late, but the scene was picking up by 9pm. Looking forward to going back.
