Johnny Cupcakes

I had read before hand that this was a t-shirt place not a bakery so I wasn't shocked but people walking inside while I was there were very confused lmao. Even though we didn't buy anything there were really cool and unique designs for shirts/cards/stickers etc. Absolutely loved the design of the store, very unique!

Amazing store!!!! Incredible selection. Funky, electic vibe. Super cool, helpful staff. Always greeted with a fist bump, "nice to see you again" and/or "Welcome to Johnny Cupcakes". Always a great experience and super tasty. Owner is an amazing human. I've proudly sported JC threads for years and it has been so cool to turn my son on to JC. My 18 year old son thinks I'm cool because I bring him to Johnny Cupcakes and tell him stories about knowing Johnny when he was the coolest dude at Newbury Comics.

Amazing Concept I personally thought of it as a cupcake place, but it was an amazing design zone. Great pins to buy, I thought other apparel were a bit expensive. But good one time buy. Go to see the store and the order delivery experience. Specially backed for you!

Finally got to visit the new store! Was greeted by every person working that evening. I grabbed myself some new pins, stickers, and a lanyard. The new shop has a lot more room but still the same fun vibe. I got a kick out of seeing the oven open with steam coming out as my box of goodies came out 'freshly baked'.

There's nothing better than walking into the store behind a few girls who quickly discovery its not a bakery!! I became a fan on MV and I've visited the Boston store twice now. The whole theme is AWESOME, the clothing is GREAT, my mom even makes me cookies with your cookie cutters! Don't get me wrong I was sad to see the MV store close, but that's what makes those shirts true classics of great family memories. Getting my new shirts in the munchkin box out of the "hot" oven brings out the true kid in me. The icing on the cupcake was definitely listening to the girl say, "but wait there's really no cupcakes". It's still making me smile and it was definitely a Boston trip highlight!! Keep the fakery alive!

Always an amazing visit to JC on Newbury! The staff is exceptional and always a pleasure to interact with. Purchased the plaid button up and a sweatshirt. I can never get out of the store without something for my family. Love this location!!

Got to the new shop last month and it did not disappoint! I’ve been a fan of JC for a loooooong time, so it was definitely a priority to see the new space. Lots of fun for everyone!

Such an amazing store!!! T-Shirts are dope and the decor is crazy. Walking in the store you have to open a door sized oven and enter the beautiful shop with super nice staff.
