Johnny Garlic's

My friends like spicy foods but I DON'T. I ordered the garlic soup and the 1/2 dip sandwich. Extremely flavorful, but definitely not spicy hot. I was very happy. We had children in our group, and they were treated with a lot of respect. This means a lot to me. We wanted to share a dessert, and the waiter brought us a huge plate of bananas foster. It was really a great lunch.David, our server, made sure we got the most out ot if. I will definitely go back.

My daughter turned 13 a few days ago and she wanted to go to Johnny Garlic's in Santa Rosa for her birthday. We have gone to Johnny Garlic's in Dublin many times and love it there. But the Santa Rosa restaurant doesn't even come close! My wife's salad was served on a dirty plate... there were obvious finger print smudges on every side of the plate. Very unsanitary! We told the waitress about it and she tried to give some lame explanation for it. She informed her manager and the manager didn't even come to our table to apologize for it. I ordered one of their signature burgers and it came to the table cold and the garlic fries were saturated with cooking oil. We were the first customers to show up in the restaurant, so there should be no excuses for dirty plates, cold burgers and horribly cooked garlic fries. Please do NOT go to this restaurant... you will be disappointed!!!

I enjoyed having a nice selection to choose from. However my mashed potatoes and biscuit was cold. After sending it back, the first time the biscuit came out warm and still cold potatoes... The banana fosters was most excellent, however they served milk with the coffee which I thought was rather peculiar since it had the appearance of a nice quality bar/ restaurant. The waitress and staff were pleasant, but could use some training on timing... I will give them another chance but with caution.

There was a few small mix ups, but they had all the types of food you could want. Garlic fries were good, though I have had better. My macaroni and cheese burger was much better than it sounded and it was a good recommendation.

Great atmosphere great food great drinks! Our server Ariele was superb! We are big fans of Guy and while visiting from Michigan we absolutely had to try Johnny Garlics. So glad it was a great experience! Now we can say been there, done that, bought the T-shirt!😬

Had the flank steak because I'd never seen it on a menu. It was very good, charred on the outside and pink in the middle, very tender. It was served with "crispy spinach" which I'd never had but was also very good. The waitress mentioned they were serving sturgeon. I avoided it because I thought all types of sturgeon were threatened species, but it turns out the white sturgeon is not. It will be on my plate the next time I visit. Unless the exotic game "creation" is alligator, which I'd really like to try as well. It was ostrich on this visit.

Ordered many items off the Happy Hour menu during lunch to sample the food, everything we ordered was delicious! Service was excellent! Can't wait to return. We've chosen four dinner menu items we're looking forward to trying.

Had a fantastic time there. The food was just average. Not bad by no means. Just not fabulous. Our service on the other hand was exceptional. Wish I could remember our servers name because she was the best. I would definitely go back.
