Johnny Rockets

It’s alright. I wish it was better than it was. We went for our first wedding anniversary because it looked like a fun place to go and check out a new restaurant chain we hadn’t had. we each got a burger but my wife’s was requested to have bbq instead of ranch, came out with ranch. I will say, our server apologized and remedied it but when my wife asked if she had the bbq sauce on it and showed it to the server, she just said yes. I had to step in and state that mine properly came with ranch and it was exactly the same color. Burgers were great but I do think a bit pricey for not coming with a drink or fry. We ended up getting a side of fries and a side of loaded tots. The fries were well seasoned but the tots. I wasn’t a fan of the cheese they used for the loaded tots. It’s just plain bright yellow nacho cheese it seemed. I would think for the price that it would be better. We never got refills on our drinks automatically but I don’t even know if our drinks CAME with refills. we saw shakes coming out and honestly was a bit surprised with how small they looked for the price so we decided not to get any. Service, everyone was nice. We did walk up and she asked if patio was fine and when I requested a booth she was struggling to find one available and I eventually just said the patio was fine. I was not a fan of the “Patio” it honesty felt weird eating my dinner just right next to the walkway where people are playing slots. So if we go back, I would definitely prefer a booth and would wait for one. So overall, it’s alright. It’s nothing I would love but I wouldn’t turn down going again if someone asked.

Nice family diner inside the casino. Prices were fair, cheaper than the food court. The food was good. Ordered a shake for the boys to share and our waitress was kind enough to split it into two smaller glasses so they had their own. My BLT was delicious. It wasn't busy when we went around 8pm.

Amazing food and even better service! Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. Huge shoutout to Graysen, who truly went above and beyond—despite it being close to closing time, he still made sure I got my food and never made me feel rushed. That level of care and professionalism is rare and deeply appreciated. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nothing to brag about. Slow service considering they weren’t busy food sitting under heat lamp way too long. Hard to get server. Harder to get check. Kind of disappointed. We have been to numerous Johnny Rockets and good is not one to revisit After our disaster upper management contacted us and asked for a second chance. We were open to it and was very glad we did. Was night and day difference Customer service was great. Food was outstanding all the staff were upbeat Highly suggest if your in the area you go check it out

Our server really brought our whole experience together. Jojo took great care of us and made sure everything was hot when brought to the table. She went above and beyond and blew us away, if we return we would love to see her again!

Johnny Rockets was an amazing experience, the first for my wife and I. The atmosphere here in the style of a 60s diner and the music to boot was perfect. The waitress Anna was wonderful to deal with and very pleasant for being later in the evening when some would be ready to head home and just want to rush guests out she was patient and helped us out tremendously. I had the smokehouse double cheeseburger and my wife had the chicken tenders. The burger was amazing and my wife said the tenders were very good. I would 100% recommend anyone Who likes the diner atmosphere and food to definitely try Johnny Rockets at Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt Pleasant Michigan. Thank you so much Anna and anyone else who helped our visit (sorry if we didn't catch your name) be the best it could be.

OMG! I have eaten here several times and the food has been so so. But today, it was AWESOME! Gene was the chef and Lindsay was my server. I am so glad I stopped again. The Route 66 burger was perfectly done with great onions and mushrooms. I love onions rings and my plate of them were awesome!

Value priced food, good service We enjoyed 2 burgers and fries shared $30 plusctax and tip Also had breakfast there the next day..2 eggs, home fries or hash browns, 2 slices of toast (great rye bread) and sausage 2 links or bacon for $8 each, coffee was $3 Would definitely eat here again

Better food at a hotel breakfast is better than this place. Bland . No butter on the toast. Small limited menu that was not good. Non of the staff looked happy. Our waitress was nice, but she also seemed to be the only waitress doing anything. The place has a 50's diner look, but the feeling is a closed down kmart food court. Poor ambiance. Poor service. Bad food.

The food is really good. The staff is very friendly, and they actually dance if YMCA comes on lol it's awesome

The place was empty when we went there. Always makes you wonder why nobody is eating somewhere. My wife said she thought her hamburger was decent. They bring fries on a plate and this comes across very tacky especially charging whatever the hell they are charging for a side of fries. Give me a decent basket of fries, especially at a diner, especially at a casino. Profit margins must be razor thin for this place. I ordered the grilled chicken salad for whatever the hell a chicken salad cost these days which I am sure is over priced. The salad came out with literally 2 ounces of dried up chicken on it and bacon bits from a package. I mean for god sakes give me 8 ounces of chicken and crumble your own bacon that you already use for your burgers. Nothing specially about this place.

Hostess wanted to seat us next to the casino floor and seemed a bit reluctant to putting us further inside away from the noise but did. Mushroom/swiss burger was OK but not great. Philly cheese steak the same. Both were greasy taking away from the overall satisfaction. Onion rings were crispy, hot and good. Service was excellent as was the music. Place was clean as should be the case. We were there mid-afternoon and it was not busy at all which I'm sure was a factor. Rated 3 stars mostly because of the service. Food and price considerations alone would be no higher than a 2 star rating.

I can say I found a new breakfast spot. Rockets has a great breakfast menu. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I came back after my first time to try the shakes and their Philly. They both are delicious.

Great shake and smokehouse burger. Servers danced, which was nice. Prompt service. Lively atmosphere on casino floor. Will be back next time at soaring eagle casino.

overheard staff saying one manager, I believe they said Lucas, has staff post to raise rating. Average burger and service was slow because of only 2 servers. Very mismanaged and average food. Server Rebecca was awesome though. Literally running to keep up. Saw people leave after waiting 15 minutes with no help. Didn't see the manager once. Shouldn't he help after sending staff home?
