Johnny Rockets

Stone cold fries. Heavily salted bun with cold burgers and old lettuce. Not a palatable meal in any sense, and outrageously over-priced. Only good part was the vanilla milkshake, but sloppily served running down the cup and totally messy. Do not recommend at all, and we love the Johnny Rockets in Las Vegas. so this was a big disappointment.

Burgers and fries were premade and then left on the warmer. By the time we got them it was so soggy and cold. Not worth the money!!!

Very expensive because it is in a theme park. A hamburger meal is about twelve dollars. There is lots of seating and the place is usually packed. The quality ranges from day to day. The first time I came here, the burger was overcooked and dry, but more recently it was exceptionally good. The shakes are huge and almost worth the eight dollar cost.

The food was good somewhat dry tho I got the double burger and fries but probably the best food in the park but for two people it was 53 USD.

Order hamburger meal in advance using the mobile app and you'll skip the long line. Hamburger was tasty, everything was warm. Don't forget to ask for napkins and a cup of water.

The food here was delicious and affordable.We waited extremely long though,and the lines are confusing.

I don't even know where to start! We got a Chocolate "Shake" which was YUMMY! Although it really wasn't a shake and was much more of a big cup of Ice Cream, it still tasted pretty delicious! But the food was garbage! My cheeseburger was terrible! The meat wasn't good, the cheese was weird like melted but not at the same time, and it was oily and kinda cold too. The fries were better but had NO salt! So even the fries weren't good! So unless it is just for the "shakes" we will not be back at Johnny Rockets. Not making that mistake again! And I highly recommend that you try to avoid this stupid place too!

Definitely a place to feed the entire family. Reasonable prices (before COVID and the Tariffs). The hamburgers are yummiliscious= freshly made along with the french fries! Basically, they make it there no reheating, no dehydration products, no microwaving it's fresh and delicious!

They literally forgot about me after I ordered. I ordered right next to a friend who ordered more than me and my food took way longer than theirs. I think the area around the store is pretty nice to eat at, but the fact that they forgot about me and didn't at least give me a free drink is crazy!

Food was meh, price is $21 (!!) for a small burger and fries. Drinks are $6 each, and shakes are $12. Not worth the price. Went to a true Johnny Rockets years ago and it was nothing like this. Not to mention after I walked up the way near Medusa, "The Grill" serves the same thing for $3 LESS. Food as a whole in the park is a miss. $6 for a bag of chips thats $2 anywhere else in town? Crazy... The service was fine, and the only seating is outdoors. Best left skipped in my opinion.

Prepare to pay theme park ransom: $12 for a burger! But hey, at least there's plenty of seating to eat your overpriced (maybe delicious, maybe not) meal amidst the crowd. And the shakes? Well, they're BIG... almost big enough to justify their $8 price tag. Think of it as an adventure!

I was very disappointed with the bad treatment I received from the young lady handling the completed orders. For whatever reason she was very rude to me. I am never rude to food service workers so I really don't know what her problem is. I will never eat here again and will tell anyone coming to the park not to eat here either. The food was fine.

In the middle of riding Roller Coasters, me and my bud needed a place to get a quick eat. We were just looking for whatever was close and this place, Johnny Rockets was in sight. For some reason, everything in the theme park is overpriced. I don't really understand why but that is just how things are. Due to this, I had to buy the rocket single and share it with my bud to save money. Waiting times are understandable since the rides in the park can go up to 2 hours. The food itself is all right, nothing special. The so called special sauce in the burger did add some flavor, but not enough to call it good. Rather, this place is best seen as a joint to get a quick bite and hop back on the rides.

Tried this place again for the first time in 5 years and this is DEFINITELY not a true Johnny Rockets. They are serving the same (sub-par) burgers as the rest of the park. The only decent thing there are the fries.

I give you negative 10 star because I would rather eat a cardboard box. Definitely not a real Johnny Rockets. the burger meat was definitely not a fresh patty. A lot more was expected from a 16 dollars burger. Waited in line for an hour and no lids or straws because they might make into the ocean apparently. You will feel disappointment if you eat here.

There aren't many affordable food choices in this park. We already knew this but it's too much trouble to go back out just to eat and cone back in especially since parking is far for this park. Looking at the prices here it wasn't too bad. It ended up being cheaper if we forgo the family meal deal they had and buy some baskets or plates which came with fries because we already had refillable drink bottles for season passholders. It was still expensive but a better deal. I would give 2 stars like many reviewers because it took about 45 minutes to get our food. Our son n dad was able to ride a ride faraway and still came back in time for lunch. We almost missed the Drench show because it took so long but good thing we can bring food in to watch while you munch. The Drench stadium is just next door to this. This place is slow slow. There were 3 windows open but they still made each order on the spot and each order was like for many people in their parties so of course it took awhile. Anyways it took that long :/ But I am being generous in giving 3 stars because the food was fresh and hot. The fries were good and the cheeseburgers were big. The chicken strips were actually good, big and not processed. There is seating behind the stall but not much to avoid the wind, sun n cold but again their shows allow you to bring in food so you can always take it in there and not fear about missing a show since the line here was so long. If we ever come back I think we would hit here again just because it's edible for the price. But jump in line when it's shorter.

Ridiculous, lunch time for the dining pass is only open from 11-3:30. We got in line at 2... We have been in line for 20 minutes and have only moved up a bit. We definitely should of came sooner lol. Weird they only have one window open when this is the busy time of time.

Waited over AN HOUR in the heat to only move up a few feet. It probably would have been another 1.5 hours to order food if we stayed in line still. We felt like we were going to pass out and luckily we found a souvenir shop that had ice cream to help. This place is the worst waste of time.

I waited over an hour for my food today. My sister got the tender meal and I got a burger as well as my boyfriend. My sister's tenders were overdone, the fries were stale. My burger was cold, the patty was dry from sitting out (I have managed a fast food place so I can tell when a patty has been sitting in a warmer for well over the time it should have been) and the cheese has turned the stale orange color after being left out for too long, not even melting at all on the burger. 10/10 would not recommend at all. deserves a lower rating.

NEVER EVER GO HERE. 45 minute wait just to order. Received cold cheeseburger. Extremely loud advertising playing over the loudspeaker the entire time. French fries pretty good, thereby earning one star for an overall nightmarish experience. Do yourself a favor and get the crappy pizza in the food court.

Usually this is the best place to eat in the park, but today the Wait was 1 hour and 10 minutes to get food. They only had 2 of 6 Windows open. Then they tried to give me an old burger with cold fries Luckily I touched the bun and it was as hard as the bottom of my shoe. And the fries were cold and I asked for another one. I got a shake and they ran out of spoons. No problem I'll take straw, right? Wrong! They don't have straws due to animal welfare? Hmmm, I'm sorry to all the animals that live outside of the park.

Sticking to my high school AP US History teacher's advice of keeping it short, sweet, and to the point, I only have to say that my experience at this Johnny Rockets Express was absolutely terrible. The burger patties were dry and poorly seasoned, and the buns were drenched in oil. Everything is sitting under heat lamps for extended periods of time, and all in all, it made this dining experience a very unenjoyable one. Stay away!

ITS A SCAM!!! They sell the same exact burger at other locations. Terrible food, overpriced and low quality. The quality is worse than McDonalds. Very disappointing. Waited 2 hours for utter crap. Would not recommend this to anyone.

It's not a secret that Six Flags food service is tediously slow. The question I've pondered is it deliberate to slow down season dining pass holders or is it just a result of their unwillingness to hire or train competent employees. (They use a foreign worker trick to get cheap employees without having to worry about them exiting their job) There's so many simple things they could do to improve I have to believe it's deliberate slowness.... Though more likely through the structure than a blatant statement. Pagers, a digital number screen or simply taking folks cell numbers and texting them with a designated phone would be an improvement. Then those waiting don't have to stand in the sun to hear their number called out without amplification. Waiting for 40-60 minutes for your food is really not acceptable at a theme park stand is really not acceptable. Half an hour would've left them with two stars because the food is actually pretty good... But the wait is atrocious.

After a day of fun, we stopped for burgers at Johnny Rockets - which outside of Six Flags is a GREAT place to get a fresh burger with all the fixin's, but NO, NOT HERE! After ordering a burger with cheese and bacon, and a double, and a kids meal ... we were given number 346, and I paid almost forty dollars we waited, and waited, and waited as we heard numbers 344, 345, 347, through 350 - I finally went up to ask what was taking so long and was told they'd run out of "kid meal boxes" and our food would be ready shortly. It'd already been about twenty five minutes. 351 through 355 and as I approached the window a haggard looking young person started handing me food, I asked for a tray ... to which she scoffed, huffed, and shuffled over to the sink, washed a tray, and handed it to me to load up with our food. The burger was dry, the cheese was a see-through yellow, one piece of lettuce, no tomato, no onion, nothing else! The double burger was red in the middle, and had a greenish red partial piece of a tomato on it. The chicken nuggets were rock hard - no joke. I won't even go in to the fries and onion rings. Johnny Rockets and Six Flags should be ashamed to serve such subpar food to their good paying customers. Later that night, two of us were sick, the one who didn't eat the food - she was fine. I'll never eat at a Johnny Rockets again based on this experience alone. The fact that this is part of an amusement park and they don't refund money or offer apologies is ludicrous!!!

Holy cow.... This place takes forever to get your food. I can't figure this out because it's not rocket science but they are so disorganized that it's unbelievable! I cant believe that Six Flags marine world is still in business. It was more than frustrating on a not so busy day to have to wait so long in line for a meal. I would think food concessions is one of the biggest money makers at this place yet, it is not to par with regular food places as far as a quickness speed and quality of food. Now... Let's get to the food quality. I got completely sick on what I think was some terrible cheddar cheese on my burger. I was sick for 24 hours and let me tell you ...it wasn't fun running to the bathroom every 15 minutes .....with that being said, I give this place only one star as the value was terrible, the food was terrible, in the wait time was terrible! Let's get it together staff, management and ownership!

If I could give this place a negative star I would. This location is right across from the Dolphin show entrance. The staff was unenthusiastic, long line and only one window open. Waste of time and money. Worst burger I have ever tasted, discussing is an understatement. Please don't eat here unless you have a death wish. Way better food on the other side of the park. Nothing like the Johnny Rocket burger.

Warm diluted $5 diet cokes. No mustard. One person at the window. Line is 30 minutes at 12:45 pm. Super slow

This food stop in Six Flags is so horribly managed, or not managed that I felt like I was watching Kitchen Nightmares or Hell's Kitchen. When I actually got my food 1.5 hours later it was thankfully pretty good, so props to the lone chef or two in the back. But the ranks are shallow and there is no manager to deal with a big crowd. At some point the poor cashiers start to look defeated like they are being swarmed by an angry mob of zombie customers (us). Some solutions would be to display the currently active food orders on a screen and announce it on the loudspeaker. Now you clear up the horde in the waiting area. And get about two more chefs as good as the one you got or stop taking orders when the average order time exceeds 30 minutes. You're welcome Six Flags.

This regards a location inside with Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, next to the dolphin show entrance there. Preface: My wife and I are from the Northeast, where Friendly's is an icon, a trusted brand and default comfort destination for a quick family meal and Old School service. 20 years here and we are also fans of Johnny Rockets and enjoy both the food and the atmosphere. It is very much Friendly's, with a California twist. The Johnny Rockets at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom that we nearly puked at though: EPIC FAIL. Shocking, considering that CEO John Maguire oversees both the Friendly's and Rocket brands, having been poached from Friendly's, and is nobody's idiot. Six Flags is refunding our entire admission and parking from our family's horrible, most un-Disney experience ever. It was that bad. Broken and unsafe attractions, filth, meth heads roaming the place, employees for whom guests are a pain, etc... BUT... here it comes for you. The roughly $150 we spent, after better than 45 minutes in line, for the most horrible garbage masquerading as your brand was the kicker. Having to sit and choke it down it in hot sun, while dozens of other patrons hovered like vultures, waiting for us to die, so that they could snag a tiny sliver of shade in your really far too dirty - like as in really wicked dirty - dining area. We are hardly sheltered. Both my wife and I covered combat in Iraq as journalists. We grew up in New York & Boston, respectively, lived in Philly and have been shot at a couple of times - at least. We have also endured our share of lousy food, horrible service and 'WTF Are We Eating?!' moments around the country and the world. Just thought that you should know that if Six Flags had been our first contact with Rockets that we would be vilifying you as the return of White Tower Roach Burgers, only with extra grease and an extra charge for the grease and roaches, and that Rockets would be as dead to us as is Six Flags. Try that Undercover Boss thing at Discovery Kingdom and THAT will be a TV show to DVR! UPDATE: The above was emailed to Johnny Rockets Corporate over two weeks ago. Zero response to date

Disgusting overpriced food. Cold and awful burgers. THIS IS NOT A JOHNNY ROCKETS, run away

MY GOODNESS, was all I was saying when I arrived at this establishment. I don't know who's really to blame, the park or Johnny Rockets. I went here this past weekend with my cousins. We rode Medusa, and were looking for some place to feast since all we had that day were some quaker oatmeal bars. Cue, Johnny Rockets. We stand in line in what seems eternity. Keep in mind there were about 10-12 people in front of us. It took us 30 minutes just to get to the cashier. Alright, maybe it was a new cashier. Who knows. What I didn't understand was why we had to wait an hour for our burgers and tenders. The menu ONLY MADE burgers and chicken tenders. I would think the burger guy would just be uhhh, making burgers nonstop. Same for the tenders. I probably could've rode Medusa, Kong, or watched that whale show Shouka. People were furious and there was a huge crowd just waiting near the pick-up window. Grown men were laying on the floor and ladies were yelling at the workers inside. Some were saying they had been waiting 2 hours for their food. Like I said, I don't know if it's Johnny Rockets or Six Flags who is to blame here, but something needs to be done for the future. I will not be coming back here, and maybe even the park ever again.

The line in service was pretty horrible, but the worker himself was very kind and understanding I've never had such a nice worker inside of a Six Flags park, I know I'm giving a review for the one on the outside of the park but I'm talking about the one inside, the worker is Taylon, very kind and made the experience better.

Don't waste your time or money! One star because I can't give zero! Johnny Rockets is losing money by being associated with Six Flags. One register open. 32 minute wait, no manager on site... everyone in line with me missed most of the dolphin show, and I was there 15 minutes before start time. This is the second and the last time I've dealt with this fiasco of an attempt to get a pre-made burger. I vow to never eat at any JR's anywhere ever again.

Not as many options compared to the Johnny Rockets outside of Six flags. The Burgers were okay but I wish they melted the cheese more. But on the other hand, Vanilla shake, yum! Warning: Much pricier since it's in a theme park yo!

So bad. If you have any other choices, eat anywhere else but here. It's across from the Tiger Show. The cashiers are slow and uninterested. They allow no changes or substitutions and the shake machine wasn't working when we ordered. The hamburger I got was overcooked but somehow the cheese never melted. The fries tasted like they were cooked in the same oil as fish, although there is no fish on the menu. The onion rings were incredibly greasy. The kids had child meals with a watery jello cup, welch's fruit snack, small drink, and oily popcorn chicken that neither finished or liked. This is a terrible place to eat. Don't waste your money here, eat something else.

Confused, retarded employees & overpriced. The person who took our order with the helper next to him asked us what we wanted & we went over the order 3 times & he still messed it up. We asked for hamburgers & repeated it back to us 3 times & he gave us cheeseburgers & said the food can't be modified! There are other food places at the park. Avoid this place.

Waiting in line took too long despite being so short.. Burger meal was expensive but expected from a theme park. Food i got was definitely not fresh, burger was cold and cheese was solid not melty at all.. meal was also advertised with a glass of coke in the picture but does not come included. 2/10 do not recommend. Just get the fries smh

The food here is terrible - does not deserve to bear the name "Johnny Rockets". This is a theme park food stand, as terrible as any other. But very pricey... USD 20 for a double burger and a large soda? Not worth it.

Should have checked Yelp prior to getting food here. Would have given this 0 stars if that was a choice. Adding to prior reviews this is the slowest restaurant on earth. After waiting 10' we ordered the $44.99 family meal deal for 4. Waiter refused to give is the $3.45 bottles of water instead of the $3.99 fountain drinks that come with the meal. Waited at least 35 minutes for burgers, onion rings and fries which is pretty much all you can order here. Staff is totally disorganised, order delivery a total chaos. Burgers were blend. We had good experience with Johnny Rockets in Chicago but this place is a disgrace for the brand. To Yelp users: Go eat somewhere else! To JR: fix this place and staff up or shut it down!

As expected of a restaurant in a theme park, the food is minimal, overcooked, and all around disappointing. I am severely disappointed that Johnny Rockets, a decent establishment on its own, would completely change its menu and fall to these low standards. I ordered a Single Meal which is a single overcooked patty burger with one piece of lettuce and one thinly sliced piece of cheese that can't melt. It comes with very overcooked fries and onion rings. And this is $13. I asked the cashier for a copy of my receipt. She said I would get it when I picked up my food. She neglected to tell me that it would also be doused in grease and oil attached to my burger with a toothpick. Another member in my party attempted to order a beer as well. We discovered that there were no employees over the age of 21 that could serve the beer. At noon, there were no adults. Not even a supervisor.

Saving grace! A Johnny's Rocket's in this overpriced Funderland of Discovery Kingdom. That was my thought before actually finding the JR's near the Dolphin tank. Much like the rides, the metal railing weaving about the complex helps keep people organized during the 45 minute wait to order. Oh but there's the occasional shade palapas to keep you cool while you wait. After assembling your order and establishing a line of credit for your cheeseburger, you get to wait again for pick up. This is a good time to have someone else in your party go scope out a table near by. Here's a good thing...if you time it right...you can take your JR's food into the dolphin show right across the way. It was by chance this happened for me and it helped eleviate my desire to choke someone out after waiting so long in the hot sun for a cheeseburger. Oh..another plus...fries and onion rings on the same plate..good stuff. Otherwise, the food wasn't bad, probably the best in the park but you're gonna pay a ton of $$ for it.

An hour and a half wait...one window open... They had one worker organizing sauce packets in another window....really?! Get it together six flags/Johnny rockets. When you see a long line that isn't moving....get some help!! Ridiculous. And the icing on the cake- 2 burgers and a fry was $32. That includes our free sodas and 15% off. My advice....pack a lunch and leave it in your car.

Horrible long line. Over an hour wait and still not able to order. Closing windows as well. Not fun.

I honestly felt bad for the employees after watching countless people be very rude at the window. We ordered our food at noon. We had a window of 1:15 to 1:30. We got here pressed prepare food. Our food was ready at about 1:30. We waited in the very long line for mobile pick up. Most people took about 5 minutes at the window. We noticed a family waiting near the front of the window and everyone tried to explain the process to them. They didn't move and also sent her husband to wait there "we are picking up our food as soon as it says it's ready". He tapped on a closed window and said it says it's ready. We and everyone else tried to explain to the employees how they cut the whole line. I know somethings employees can't control but if you can open the window to help him why wouldn't you do the for all the people already waiting. They said they would keep the window open for everyone else and closed it right after. Terrible experience.

Best place at Six Flags. Workers are friendly, and even if it's a busy day at the park I can see that they are trying their best

Just found out there's a season food pass ($85) that lets people eat free during certain hours . Guess what? I'm waiting in line for 45 min (only 10 people ahead of me) during one of these hours!! Coincidence? Hell no! They are doing a work slow down!!! They want the season pass people to not get a bunch of food so they slow it down...but guess what ?! The regular people PAY the price...I hate this F'n place.

This place was awful. It was expensive and tasted bad. There were two windows for ordering but when I got up to one of them the employee walked off and didn't come back. The people in line behind me wouldn't let me go to the other window to order so I stood there for at least 6 or 7 minutes while I watched the employees walk around doing nothing or pretending to cook food. When someone finally acknowledged that I was there, I ordered a Single burger meal which didn't come with a drink (found that out after I paid) and it came to be over $13 with tax. They wrote my order number on a scrap of paper and gave it to me and I was suppose to give it back when I got my food (I didn't get a receipt yet, by the way). When I finally got my food the burger was so raw that it was still bleeding. The cheese was not melted and the lettuce looked like it was sitting out for a while. The special sauce tasted like a knock-off of In-N-Out burger's and was so watery that it soaked through the grocery store bun and it practically fell apart. They only gave me 3 small onion rings (which were dried out) and a handful of squishy french fries for the side. The only place to sit was behind the building next to the foul smelling trash cans and the dirty tables. They had a family special where you get 4 single burgers, 4 small drinks, and 2 sides for $45. It was a rip-off because the 2 sides were suppose to be shared amongst the group (which is barely enough for one person) and the small drinks were slightly larger than the water cups. The best deal is to wander around the park and buy cheap snacks instead of blowing a lot of money on terrible food at the restaurants.

Man!!! When you think Johnny Rockets you think creamy shakes, fresh french fries, crispy onion rings... but this place falls way too flat!! Our fries tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for way too long... and the onion rings were a disappointment as well. Service was ok, but their food is not worth the lines.

Yuck! Terrible, nasty food. Just disgusting. I didn't expect the food to be excellent within a theme park. But, this was way worse than I expected. It was hard to eat and was a total waste of money, especially since most of it was leftover because it was just too nasty. We got the $45 meal deal.

Avoid if at all possible! Assuming Johnny Rockets is decent anywhere, they are really hurting their brand by allowing such awful food to be served under their name here. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that all their locations aren't nearly this expensive and awful. Unfortunately this is one of the few places in Six Flags where you can get a beer, so if you want an adult beverage, then you're pretty much trapped going here. Unfortunately the management knows this, as illustrated by their exploitative prices. My girlfriend and I got two 12oz Coronas and a double bacon burger. It was $38. After waiting nearly 30 minutes in line for to order, the beer we got was only 12 oz, so it was nearly gone by the time our order was ready 10 minutes later. When the food came, it was pretty bad. The burger had the basics, but the meat was overcooked --way more than "well done"-- and don't even *think* they might do it medium rare for you. The fries and rings were undercooked-- pale, mushy, and not golden. After the first few bites took the edge off our hunger, we left the rest for the seagulls. The saddest part is that this mediocre experience cost us an hour of our time... time which we could have spent waiting in line for a ride. Next time I come to Six Flags I'm going to bring Clif Bars to satisfy my hunger, and sneak a flask so I can enjoy a reasonable drink. If Johnny Rockets cares about their company image, they should really attempt to make the quality of this place more equal to their establishments outside amusement parks.

Absurdly long wait times. 100% clear that no one here has a sense of timeliness or service. Feels like being in a Soviet bread line.

Only two windows open. Short line, but we've been in it for almost half an hour. We've been near the front of the line for about 15 minutes and hardly moved.

The food was trash!! Literally!! Bought two single burgers with cold mushy fries and nasty onion rings! Burgers were super tiny and cold like it was prepared the day before. Very disappointed, the meal was $35 bucks. For drinks they give no staws or lids!? !!!Will not recommend this place.
