Pursuing my Master’s in Hospitality Management through JWU Online has been an incredible experience. The program is thoughtfully designed for busy professionals, offering true flexibility without sacrificing quality. Every professor I’ve worked with has been supportive, responsive, and genuinely invested in my success. The coursework is practical and relevant, connecting real-world hospitality trends with leadership, service excellence, and strategic decision-making. As a working professional with a full schedule, I appreciate how the online format allows me to learn on my own time while still feeling connected to classmates and faculty. The discussions are engaging, the expectations are clear, and the assignments truly help build skills that translate directly into the workplace. Overall, JWU Online has made earning my master’s not only possible, but enjoyable. I feel more confident, more knowledgeable, and better prepared for the next step in my hospitality career. I’m so grateful I chose this program and would highly recommend it to anyone ready to grow in the hospitality field.

Grateful to see the university wanting to include their online students. The photoshop was a good experience to interact with other students and the online staff. Also really appreciated that the session lasted the time I signed up for. There were breaks and lots of chatting with everyone. Overall great experience. My advice for the future would be to plan the set up a couple of days before just so everything run smooth. It is also a good idea to think of places on campus that had not been used before as marketing spot. By participating I got a JWU shirt! It was my first JWU swag to have. So I will always remember that. Thank you.

I am currently enrolled in the MS Data Analytics program at JWU and I LOVE it. The professors I've had are fantastic, super understanding, and so willing to work with me on anything I've had difficulty with. Even though it's online, I don't feel like I'm losing out on anything - I'm still being challenged and learning a lot about the topics, and I'm actually performing better than I did when I was attending an in person program for my bachelor's degree. Genuinely I love every second of my program.

The DBA program at JWU Online was one of the most valuable experiences of my professional life. The courses were challenging but practical, and I was able to apply what I learned directly to my job in fraud prevention and policy. The program really helped me grow as a leader and think more strategically about how I approach problems at work. What stood out the most was the support from the professors. They were knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to help. Their guidance was especially important as I worked on my dissertation, which focused on how mentorship and self-confidence impact career growth for minorities in financial services. It was a topic that meant a lot to me, and the program gave me the space and support to explore it in depth. Overall, I’m really proud to have earned my DBA from JWU. It pushed me to become a better professional, a better thinker, and a better leader. I’d definitely recommend the program to anyone who wants to take the next step in their career.

While completing my MBA at JWU, I took a number of online courses. Every professor was extremely helpful and made the extra effort to stay connected with students, which is obviously so important when you're online vs. in person. They introduced a lot of material on current events into the course so that we could go beyond the textbook and take a look at real world examples. Overall it was a great experience for me, as someone who usually prefers to take in-person classes.

Recently graduated with a BS I’m psychology from JWU. This was such a positive experience for me as an adult returning to school later in life. I was able to balance my several responsibilities as a mother and full-time employee while attending JWU online full-time. JWU staff was always available for me when I needed guidance or direction from registering for classes to concerns regarding assignments. I strongly recommend JWU to anyone looking to complete their undergrad or graduate degree! I am so proud to be an alumni member of JWU.

I am a 14’ JWU Alumni and I decided to further my education with JWU’s Online MBA program. Best decision I’ve ever made! The online program was easy for me to fit into my full time work schedule with allowing me to give my 100% attention to school work. From the application process to the end of my program, faculty and advisors were only a phone call or email away. I felt guided the entire way. I would highly recommend the university as a whole, not just the online program.

JWU online is a great experience in higher learning. Challenging and thought-stimulating instruction that was well organized and easy to follow. I have taken online classes at other universities, and the formats can be confusing and difficult to follow. JWU online is structured in a way that you always know where you are in the process and what is to come next.

Yelp
This is the campus all my classes are usually in. When I first came to check out the school the harborside campus was something I was very excited about. It just has that groomed campus feel that you see when you watch a college movie. The buildings are not far from each other here and all require access with your student ID. The view is spectacular if you are in the cuisine art building. The water is speckled with boats and there's a nice breeze that comes in towards midday. The Starbucks on this campus is also a life saver for me. I'm used to a Starbucks in every direction back in NY. So having one on campus is a big help when I have early classes.

Yelp
I have been attending Johnson & Wales for the past two years. The chefs are fantastic at their jobs. They really care about the students. This school is a friendly place to be. The new Cuisinart Center for Culinary Excellence is amazing. Brand new and has everything you could ever want. The only downfall is how expensive it is. But, it is the price we have to pay for a good education. Go JWU !
