São Paulo Nikkei Restaurants Highlight Japanese and Brazilian Cuisine | Eater

"A Tokyo-style ramen chain in São Paulo founded by a Japanese-Brazilian chef who is active in the national Japanese gastronomy association; it represents the broader integration of Nikkei identity into Brazilian culinary life. The restaurants helped introduce wider Brazilian audiences to authentic ramen and umami flavors while the founder advocates for recognition of Nikkei people as fully part of Brazilian society." - Rafael Tonon

Friendly staffs. Ramen and pao was good. We waited for 15 mins to get a table, this is ok. But i will not Q for an hour cos the menu is limited

I have been to Japan many times, and I love ramen. So I know what it should taste like. The miso ramen was just okay. Misoya is definitely better. The broth is a little light. It was not bad though. And Karaague is not properly fried. The batter is mixed up with the meat, and it is just more like friend chicken than Japanese style Karaague. And they tried to charge the service fee! In Brazil at a ramen restaurant???? I definitely don't understand this. I don't think you offer enough service to charge service fee.

I ordered the spicy miso ramen and it was pretty good but kinda heavy towards the end. Miso ramen and shoyu ramen was nice. I'd go back to try other soup bases

tl;dr: exceptional ramen worth the wait, consistently outstanding over the years. I found this gem in São Paulo, and it's my must-visit spot whenever I'm in town. The kitchen team has mastered their craft—every bowl of ramen I've had here over multiple visits has been remarkably consistent and memorable. While there's typically a line, especially during peak hours, the efficient service keeps things moving smoothly. What stood out to me was how they've maintained their high standards throughout the years, something that's rare in the restaurant industry. Even though I'm not usually drawn to São Paulo, this place alone makes the trip worthwhile. Don't skip the ramen—it's easily among the best you'll find anywhere.

Excellent service that is very friendly. The fried chicken was outstandingly good. The ramen (which we came for) was good as well. Very busy for dinner so make sure to come early!

Came with relatively high expectations. We ordered the pork buns which were tiny and poorly seasoned - the only flavor I tasted was salt. I ordered the Shio Jojo ramen which was basically just a light broth with some noodles in it. It had some of the trappings of ramen but with almost none of flavor. Sadly this was an expensive, almost mediocre meal. The staff however was very pleasant and expedient.

Usually is very crowded during weekends lunch around 50 min., but there is waiting list and a system where customers can see nos the waiting list is flowing. Lamen tast good and service is quick.

Decent food, but admittedly a bit pricey. Still, good atmosphere and service here.
