Got takeout from Joju with my parents this past weekend, and it did not disappoint! The inside of the restaurant is bright, airy, and gets tons of natural light. They've got a few tables inside in case you want to eat in, but it seems like a lot of their customers get takeout.
When you walk in, there's a worker at the counter who greets everyone warmly. If you're not in the talking mood, there's a kiosk off to the side where you can order your food. It's honestly nice to have both options available.
I've seen tofu bahn mi sandwiches at other Vietnamese spots, but this was my first time seeing one with seitan. The seitan was seasoned perfectly, and had the perfect bite to it. I paired it off with kimchi, spicy mayo, and spicy green sauce- all the flavors melded together perfectly. Since it was a hot day, I also got the lemon Thai iced tea, which was just as delicious as the food.
Definitely check out this spot if you're in the mood for delicious Vietnamese food!
