Hearty yet light breakfast- this spot serves Cantonese style porridge that tastes homey and delicious. The porridge is very easy to eat and appeals to all age. Pork meatball was juicy and tasty.

Smooth Cantonese porridge with a unique burnt taste. As a true blue cantonese, this taste may not be acquired to your taste bud. However, the consistency is gluey and less grainy. They have improvised to their local taste. Street food with an old school experience. There is a reason for their multiple awards recommendations, including Michelin.

Returned 3 days later n had century egg this time... Even nicer 👍 👍 👍 ---+ Nice n silky porridge. They have options of choosing eggs, century egg and offals. Crowded with locals, and also tourist. Next to the shop sell Chinese fried doughstick (youtiao) and goes very well with the porridge. Opens at 6am and 3pm. The closing time for the 2 sessions end once the food is sold out.

This place is good, there are some minor technical errors but by and large, as people say, the pig organs are very fresh and pork meatballs are good too, which is rare. Porridge is flavourful Worth a visit if you're nearby, but not a must try because there are many good pork porridges in Bangkok. One thing they do well is that all the ingredients come in huge pieces. Their century egg is smooth too, but the large piece works against them here because it tastes a bit too bitter when the piece is so large, but for the other pork pieces it's very satisfying Unfortunately or fortunately, none of the good ones are on ubereats No queue at 4pm on a weekday in September

Another Bangkok Michelin gem quest. The atmosphere was so full and crowded. Best congee for breakfast I've ever taste so far in town. As I was avoiding organ and offal parts, I only ordered simple pork congee with eggs. There's a smoky aroma of the bowl, fragrant, combined with tasty minced pork balls, soft boiled egg and century egg. Don't forget to add some patongos for side dish, crunchy. So delicious that I have to hold myself for not ordering more because it was just a breakfast and was still early in the morning. Lady owner was so friendly and attentive to customers. Satisfactory portion and affordable price too. Definitely will visit again.

Pork porridge with wok hei! Delicious thai comfort food for breakfast. Porridge was velvety smooth. Pork balls were bouncy in texture.

Porridge with “wok hey”!! This is one place that I would definitely come again and again… the porridge has a hint of smokiness which really enhances the flavour.. definitely deserves its Michellin Bib Goumand. Come early to avoid the office crowd.

Visited the famous Jok Prince with high expectations, but left underwhelmed by their signature charred porridge. The Experience: 🔥 “Char Porridge" Gimmick – You can definitely taste the burnt/charred flavor (their trademark), but it’s more distracting than delicious 🐖 Mediocre Minced Pork – Fatty cuts with unremarkable seasoning 🥣 Texture Issues – Porridge was neither silky-smooth nor hearty – stuck in an unsatisfying middle ground The Positives: • Quick service typical of Bangkok street food • Open late (good for night owls) Who Might Like It: ✔ Adventurous eaters wanting to try something different ✔ Those who enjoy smoky/charred flavors Final Thoughts: An interesting concept that doesn’t deliver on taste. Much better jok (porridge) options exist in Bangkok without the gimmick.
