Joki Restaurant

Our first meal when we arrived in Bordeaux and this restaurant is a must-try! The fish main was one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten, the wine/champagne was fabulous and the dessert was so different and tasty. The service was excellent and the restaurant itself is so lovely and cosy. We would 100% come back!

The dishes were incredibly delicious and inventive, beautifully presented with great attention to detail. The cocktails and wines complemented the food perfectly. Every element had been carefully considered, and the entire dinner was a true experience. The service was warm, energetic, and delivered with remarkable expertise. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Joki with some friends, and it was an unforgettable experience. Joki offers a unique concept of pairing cocktails with seasonal and unique dishes. Every course we tried was beautifully prepared, visually stunning, and bursting with flavor. Each plate had creative and unexpected combinations that worked so well together, using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Though you can also opted for wine or nonalcoholic, we went for the six-course menu with cocktails, highly recommended to try the experience as intended. The team at Joki creates a truly unique experience. welcoming, and clearly very knowledgeable about both the food and the drinks, adding to the experience. Overall, it was a fantastic night from start to finish. Huge thanks to the entire team!

We had a very nice meal and dining experience at this cozy and novel restaurant. We had the smaller 3 course menu and shared a cheese plate as well. The wine options by the glass were well selected. A pretty amuse bouche offering was delicious as was the bread course. Our appetizers of the poached oyster and pea soup were delicious and nicely presented. The fish was excellent and very well prepared. The desserts were too. The limited staff for a full restaurant is challenging but the chef joined in to help service the diners.

The team at Joki made us feel like family as we rung in the New Year. Creative and delicious dishes paired with the perfect thoughtful cocktails. The experience could not have been better.

Captivating, delicious, and awe-inspiring dishes. Oysters in Sea-water jelly, cauliflower tiramisu, perfume-inspired candies, and the freshest cocktails. Actually each course was more than a dish, they were an experience. Enjoyed every bite and the cozy atmosphere.

Fantastic experience, we got the 6 course menu with cocktail pairing and it was outstanding. The care with which every dish was prepared was extremely high, and each of the courses was a surprise of its own, and the cocktails perfectly matched the dishes. The staff was great and extremely available at all times, the atmosphere was cozy but curated at the same time. We dined at the table close to the kitchen where it can get a little bit hot at times, so if you feel like you'd like a cooler place, I suggest to specify it when booking (it worked super well for us that day, but might be worth mentioning) Overall, perfect experience from starters to dessert, will be back!

We had the degustation paired with cocktails I think it was a little much for our bellies. Suggest to maybe do 2 cocktails to start then move to wine with a digestive to finish Food concept was very good just wish the duck had been a little more tender Waitress was warm and funny. We had a lovely night
