Loved the vibes here! Great music, strong drinks, and cool color changing lights above head. Can get packed pretty quickly but still a great time!

Saw Eli Escobar here, he was great, as always. We had to wait a long time to get in, even though we had purchased tickets. Very few people danced, mostly they talked LOUD. Felt more like an overcrowded, bro-ey cocktail party than anything. Drinks were expensive, as expected, but surprisingly good for a place like this. Lights were too bright. Staff were polite and helpful. It’s just the vibe that sucked.

Paid for coat check and forgot my coat. Went back the next day and the workers stole my coat instead of giving it to lost and found at the Moxy, so that sucked. The club was cool though, definitely a place to go when you have a group of people, not so much a mingle vibe but its winter time so summer might be different.

The place inside iz really cool, but going to an event the bartenders slack & not only that, charging $27 for a vodka Red Bull is sickening. One shot of vodka and not even a full can of Red Bull is crazy work. That’s a meal.

I really like this venue… great atmosphere. Great sound. Great drinks. Not sure how long it’s been open but I’m surprised there aren’t more things happening here. The only down side is that there aren’t enough bathrooms to support a full club…

This is a fun and spacious venue, but it fills up quickly on weekends. Wide selection at the bar. Very warm and diverse crowd. The DJs here are talented and do not disappoint.

Love the vibe, the music and the lights. You should expect an elevated experience once it will open to the public on March 16th. Thur-Sat , EDM djs.

Had the pleasure of checking out the space on opening night and wow! Great location, amazing sound system...loved how intimate it was. Security and staff were helpful in providing directions to coatcheck, restrooms, etc. I was a bit worried about pretentious vibes as I've been to some openings in LA where that holds true but staff were all kind which is why I'm giving this spot 5 stars. Side note: Mesiba next door is a great spot to grab dinner beforehand and they have great mocktails for those who can't or don't drink.

A dope venue for sure. The lighting situation is wicked cool, and the sound system was definitely no joke. We bought tickets to a DJ set ahead of time, waited in a long line to get in, the DJ was mixing house beats, and it was a packed house with lots of kids our age, but there was nothing to do other than stand around and bounce in place -- I know that's the thing to do at DJ sets but I like to dance. The bar had a small jug of water with water cups so that was nice to refill. :) If you want to go to the bathroom you have to find the coat check and continue walking down a hallway to enter the Moxy hotel and then walk down another small hallway. There was no line at the bathroom but it's slightly out of the way to get to if you're coming from inside the crowd.

Very dope spot, came here for a party on a weeknight. The music was great and the lighting inside the venue is cool. The staff and especially the bartenders were very friendly and interesting to speak with. The drinks will run you about $20 a cocktail so a little more expensive than most venues near by

Enjoyed my first visit to Jolene Sound Room on Thursday night. Expect to be back as the combination of Miami and NYC owners have some great acts coming through. Quality: Happened to end up at Jolene Sound Room for opening night. It was a packed house with some great acts playing progressive and disco house music. Jolene Sound Room is very much a club venue, but it has an emphasis on listening experience. The equipment and the set-up all seemed designed for quality, but the sound just seemed a bit off on the first night. Quantity: A smaller club, they will need to figure out the right acts and the correct capacity. Value: $15-$20 for Cocktails. Ticket prices will vary based on act. Ambiance: Jolene Sound Room is a new club located in the Moxy Hotel in Williamsburg. To the side of the hotel restaurant you enter through a narrow hallway. Inside it is a pretty small space. They have a bar the length of the right wall. The DJ booth is raised at the center back of the space, and small tables and couches are found along the other walls. The lighting was retro and very cool, but it seemed like there was still some sound quality issues. It felt very muffled at times and not just in dead spots. Crowd: Packed, this is going to be a hot spot. Service: Hectic on opening night, but the staff tried to get everyone inside for a fun time. Parking: Parking throughout the area.

Really wanted to like this club but the first thing that happened when we ordered a shot and beer was that the bar tender chargers us 2x for the shots. Instead of $40 it was a $84 charge. Insane "mistake"

Terrible service, rude bouncers, rude manager, overall horrendous experience and will NOT be coming back. For $20 a drink you would at least expect a nice experience but nothing of the sort was delivered.

Let's get started on why this is truly a terrible idea. 1. - On their Instagram it claims it is a bar in East Williamsburg....on Bedford Ave. Now, I'm not for heavy semantics but if there's anything off Bedford Ave north of Broadway, that's going to be Williamsburg through and through until you hit Nassau Ave you touch on Greenpoint for a mere street. 2. Clearly they're not from NYC or Brooklyn for that matter most when you read "Neighbourhood" Youre British it's alright mate. 3. Lastly above it seems like they are tricksey with not using a deposit towards the cost of the evening for a party.

This is the first negative review I've written. They'll try to strong arm you into buying $12 bottles of water instead of giving tap (something they legally have to do) especially after paying a cover to get into a half full club on a Saturday night I would expect getting some water wouldn't be like pulling teeth. Bonkers to me that they would refuse water to a woman at a bar? Seems very out of touch from the safe clubbing culture I've experienced at other places. The female bartender was rude and completely ignored me when she realized she wasn't going to make a sale. The sound,ambience, cover, and overall vibes just weren't worth the attitude.

A can of beer was 16$ or 18$, on top of the tickets we bought. Shots were also way overpriced. Fun evening though. Crazy P draws a good crowd.

toooooo expensive.., there's other places to go in. new york city to pary .!!!!! so continue looking... i do love the environment pretty cool.. i want to enjoy .. not to be broke !!!

This business fraudulently charged me $995 dollars when I made a reservation for a table to celebrate my wife's birthday party. They then charged me $1200 for the actual table/bottles, on the day of the actual party. This was correct. After over a month of back and forth trying to get my $995 dollars back which was just a deposit, they stopped responding to e-mails. They kept saying "our accounting department is working on the refund". This happened for a month. This place is a joke and I would absolutely be very cautious about ever booking any table, party, or spending money in this establishment. Beware they are not professional and cannot handle the business. Go elsewhere.

I have been to many a club in my life time. But never have I been told to pay $60 for the most mediocre club experience in my life. The light and room set up is decent but the sound system is below average and the cost to get in is a joke for what they offer. Such a pretentious environment for a new spot in a neighborhood I've lived in for 8+ years. There goes the neighborhood. What are they thinking?

They were charging $25 per cocktail and literally $12 for WATER. Ballsy af. Sound system is meh.

Had such a great time! Cute vibe, good music, and great service! The pretty little bartender Melissa was so fun and helpful- recommended the "space cadet" and "glitter rock" when I asked for something Mezcal! She was fast and on point! Can't wait to come back and check out the hotel!

After paying for a ticket to attend Jolene, I ordered my second ridiculously expensive cocktail of the night from a bartender with blonde curly hair wearing a brown sports bra and skirt set. After handing off mine and my friend's drinks to us, she asked, do you have a tab open, to which we replied yes, and both listed our last names. Upon realizing we wanted to pay separately, she threw her head back and let out a groan and then started asking us who we had ordered our first drink from, along with some other words I couldn't quite make out as I was in shock that this woman so quickly went from cool and chill to shockingly rude and abhorrent. My friend and I looked at each other, like what is happening? Didn't we pay to be here, aren't we about to spend $20 on this cocktail, my second of the night, and THIS is how we are being treated?! Like we are a burden to this bartender, who clearly thinks she is the center of the universe? It was gross behavior and put the worst taste in my mouth. I will not be going back to this establishment as a result, which is such a bummer because I LOVED the vibes, music and ambiance. Maybe you should sit blondie down and teach her some manners so you don't continue to lose more patrons.

Sam is the best waitress . Love her vibe. Great sound and cocktails. We had fun. Highly recommended. Ask for Sam for the bottle service.

Bad bartenders , super wack . if u wanna use the bathroom expect to walk thru the restaurant and hotel . Hopefully they figure it out soon . Won't go back

10/10 recommend Sam was our server and she wqs incredibly nice and we had the BEST girls night ou! Will definitely be going back
