SPECTACULARLY GOOD FOOD!
Both modern and cozy, this intimate restaurant has absolutely top-notch food and warm, delightful service (Thanks, Christian).
If you love French Onion Soup ($12), then this is the place to order it. The silky rich soup is full of tender caramelized onions and topped with gruyere on toasted brioche. So delicious it could be a meal by itself!
The large portion of roasted Brussel sprouts ($12) come with roquefort dressing, niman ranch bacon, orange cranberries--superb!
I had the 10oz Prime Flat Iron steak frites ($35) and it was, quite simply, perfect! Cooked the way I requested, wonderfully tender, with thin crispy fries. My friend ordered the Chicken Meuniere ($29), breaded chicken breast, with a lemon & caper butter sauce, preserved lemon jam, grilled asparagus. Superb.
For dessert, had an almond flour pound cake drizzled with honey. Delectable--and more than enough for two.
The dining room is elegant but not stuffy, lively but not loud.
A charming spot for a very special dinner!
