We had a wonderful time here a few years ago. Then we decided to give it another go . I honestly Don’t know why it took 35 mins to make an espresso and latte . I was the only one in there waiting….. I now know not to stop here again.

I went on a Sunday morning to a sparsely full sit down. Service was quick and friendly- no one in line ahead. Regular drip coffee which was good flavor and served in eco friendly cup. Also ordered the quiche which came with a salad. The greens were fresh and looked like they’d been hand placed with quartered cherry tomatoes and a nice dressing on the side. The quiche was mushroom and held good flavor. The pastry crust was so so and reheating in the toaster oven probably doesn’t help. Overall a solid B experience.

I tried this beautiful restaurant which was near the Tunis Ellis farmhouse. When you enter you are greeted with a very modern two story high room with plenty of light and chandeliers. There dishes are made with plant based ingredients many from local sourced farms and organic products from NYC. I had the Glutein Free bunny muffin made with carrots, flax, dates and coffee. They have skin care products, organic teas, candles and wellness books. There is also a weekly newsletter which addresses nutrition and health. The staff is pleasant, well informed and efficient. I love the energy and ambiance of the place.Yes Jolie is for me.

We stopped in for a quick coffee and small bite after a church event. Because we had such limited time, I ordered accordingly. I was impressed by the bunny muffin and slightly underwhelmed by the avocado toast. However, my toddler loved the toast, everything bagel seasoning and all. I would be happy to go back for another try when I have more time to enjoy the food offerings as well as the beautiful ambiance. It's a bright and cheerful space, very cozy and inviting. And the framed Hermès scarves are lovely to admire.

How is this place open? It does not take 45 minutes for a ready made quiche and one order of a crepe. There were two other people there so it wasn’t even busy! We ended up canceling our order and the workers were unbelievably careless and rude. We always encourage supporting local businesses, unfortunately this was not the first time we experienced this type of service here. If you want to grow a beard or write a novel while waiting, then go here.

DO NOT get anything but coffee unless you have an hour to spend there. It took them 35 minutes to make a tuna sandwich that was supposed to be pre-made. Their menu looks great, execution is deplorable. And I don’t say that lightly, it’s well known. I’ve worked in restaurants, I’m not being a jerk, been there many times. Service is slower than slow. If you have time to kill, sure try your luck but even then, no guarantee it’s going to come out good. Stick to coffee and even then allow for 20 minutes. No joke, it’s unreal. I say get espresso and nothing else. Unless you have time to kill. Or get there breads or muffins that are right in the counter. It’s a shame, the place could be great. Do better Jolie, do better.

I wanna love this place, it's a beautiful space, but the staff is clueless. I've been twice now and both times the service was terrible. First time I just wanted a double espresso shot, they didn't seem to realize that was a thing. Second time I got a $12 tiny sandwich that they appeared to have microwaved quickly because they forgot to bring it out to me for 20 minutes. Won't be back.

I cannot agree more with the previous reviewer (Thomas Fallon). Wow. It is shocking how oblivious the staff here is. Kind and warm, but ‘lights on, nobody home’ type of thing. I really was expecting a much better experience, but left deflated with my kids. Lackluster service in what could be a very successful farm-to-table business. Took my family here as we were passing through from Morristown and this was the only place we could quickly find to eat in the center of New Vernon. I got 2 Stamina Boosters and since they were going to make it fresh for me, I asked if they could add ginger and lemon. “Absolutely!” they said. Juice comes and there’s no taste of ginger or lemon anywhere. The “youth” smoothies my children got were fine, but did not warrant an $11 price tag whatsoever. I guess that’s what you can get away with in the middle of nowhere. The wait for our food was atrociously long. Messed up on one of my kid’s dishes. I guess the cluelessness extends to the kitchen, unfortunately. (Thankfully my child’s doctor’s appointment was BEFORE we went to lunch.) The one star I’m leaving is for how gorgeous the dining room and bathrooms are. Absolutely stunning. Jolie, you could’ve been fantastic, but you aren’t. I wanted to love it, but I can’t. I won’t be back, nor will my family.
