This meal had some problems in the setting and service, but the food was enjoyable enough that I'm keeping it at 4 stars.
Our server did offer a helpful suggestion this time: she asked if we wanted butter and honey with the biscuit. We didn't know that existed last time, so she did us a favor. She didn't seem willing to look me in the eye, however, only my wife. And I had to go back to the counter three times to get things (!): our buzzer, the butter and honey that were on our order, and a second set of fork and spoon (there were two of us).
The bathrooms were worse than the service, though. The men's room, reminded me a bit of Filipino bathrooms. It wasn't terrible, but it should have been cleaner, should have a better faucet and towels to dry your hands, and should accommodate more than one person at a time. My wife's experience was worse. She said the bathroom was kind of flooded, and she had a hard time keeping her pants dry.
So the service and bathrooms aren't quite up to good US standards.
The food was as good as usual. We got a 2-piece Chicken Joy Meal Deal for $13. The hot biscuit was delicious. Cut it in half and melt butter on it at the beginning of your meal, then add honey at the end of the meal and have it for dessert. Our other dessert was the peach mango pie, which is always good. Just remember to take it out of its container at the beginning of your meal so that it's cool enough to eat by the end. We also got a side of Jolly Spaghetti, $4.79. My wife would like more rice than they give you. Other than that, this was enough for the two of us to eat.
Next time I may want to try one of their new Angus burgers instead of the spaghetti. Or perhaps I'll try to duplicate that burger I loved in a Jollibee in the Philippines once: a customized one that I think was a double cheesy Yumburger with tomato and a lot of delicious cheese sauce (I thought at the time, but maybe it was just cheese and plenty of sauce).
