"Hugely popular Filipino fried chicken chain Jollibee will open a third location in Houston before the end of 2020. It will join the chain’s other Houston stores, including one in Missouri City, which opened in June, and a longstanding location on South Main Street." - Brittanie Shey

"Chickenjoy fans, rejoice: a second outpost of beloved Filipino fried chicken chain Jollibee is en route to Houston. Documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicate that Jollibee will take over the former Pollo Tropical space at 13347 Westheimer Road in the coming months. The new outpost will join the first local location of Jollibee, which has been open at 8001 South Main Street since 2013. The chain could be making a renewed push into Texas — earlier this month, Eater Dallas reported that Jollibee would open its first DFW location, and plans are also in the works for a San Antonio outpost. For those who are unfamiliar with Jollibee’s crunchy fried chicken, the chain is known for its Chickenjoy, a signature dish that pairs fried chicken with gravy and rice. Filipino dishes like palabok fiesta are also on offer, along with the chain’s signature spaghetti, burgers, and deep-fried peach-mango pies. Construction on Jollibee’s forthcoming location on Westheimer is expected to be completed in April 2020. Stay tuned for an official opening date." - Amy McCarthy

It’s way better than any other competitors in the market! Clean place, good service and the cleanest quality fried chicken in town. Chicken is cooked to perfection and not greasy. Even the fries is fresh with no oily taste. I strongly recommend visiting!

Google
First time at Jollibee love it so much their chicken so *chefs kiss* it’s so crispy, crunchy & spicy. Perfection! Will be going back for more and buy their Ube & Apple Peach pie so delicious. The Pineapple Quencher you can’t get enough of. I want a whole gallon of it. Can’t wait to go back for more. The location got very busy quickly. The staff is very kind. Any food item that is limited is always worth a try.

Spicy chicken was yummy! Spaghetti was a bit too sweet for my taste but I can appreciate it. The gravy was good and the adobo rice was sooooo yummy. It was our first time bc we live an hour away, but we will be back!

Google
First time going to Jollibee, and I'm honestly so impressed. I enjoyed everything I ordered, and I also love that they give you a buzzer after you order your food, so you know when your food is going to be ready for pick up. ♡ 2 pc ChickenJoy w/ Jolly Spaghetti. 8/10! The chicken was hot, tasted fresh, and the skin was so crispy and delicious. The side of gravy that came with it was seasoned well, and I love dipping my chicken in it! On the other hand, I'm a big fan of Filipino spaghetti, and I have to say that the Jolly Spaghetti is pretty decent. The sauce had a subtle sweetness to it which I prefer, and the portion was good. ♡ Peach Mango Pie. 9/10! I forgot to take a picture because I was too excited to try it out. Honestly, it was love at first bite. The flaky exterior had a really nice crunch to it, and the peach mango filling was SO good and not artificial tasting or sickly sweet at all. If you're trying Jollibee for the first time, you NEED to try the peach mango pie out. In my opinion, it's better than McDonald's pies. ♡ Pineapple Quencher. 8/10! It was good, refreshing, and paired well with my meal! 。 ₊°༺❤︎༻°₊ 。 FINAL VERDICT: Would I come back to Jollibee? If I'm in the area with a craving for fried chicken dunked in gravy and flaky pie, then yes!!

I’ve heard a lot of people rant & rave about how good Jollibee’s food is so since we were in the area, we decided to stop by. Very busy restaurant, so of course there was a wait time to order. I got the Chickenjoy Perfect Pair with 2 piece + spaghetti, drink & gravy. My cousin got the 2 piece (1 spicy, 1 original) + 2 sides (spaghetti& fries) drink & gravy. Quite honestly, I didn’t care very much for my food. My original chicken tasted like it was old, the spaghetti was very very sweet & the gravy was okay. I tried the spicy chicken & it tasted fresh & the fries were okay as well. There were a lot of people seated on the inside & the tables that weren’t occupied were dirty. Overall, I had high expectations for this place, but probably wouldn’t return, unfortunately.

Google
Thought about giving this location a try. Food is ok. Tastes a little different compare to the one on Main Street. The steamed rice seemed to be different and the fried chicken wasn't as golden brown and cripsy. The only thing that was still godd wS the gravy.

Google
Drove over 30 min to get to this location just to find out that they don't even have spicy chicken available. What a waste of time Update: So after I saw that the owner replied and assured that the kitchen should always be well stocked, I decided to pay them another visit. Guess what I see in the drive through window? "Spicy chicken unavailable." Waste of time. If I were you, just go to a different location or find a better place.

Google
I must say their chicken is really good, especially right out of the pot. Their fried chicken skin is the thinnest and crunchiest that you can find in the States. The flavor is just right, and the chicken meat is moist and tender, along with the crispy skin. I don't recommend their chicken sandwich. Popeyes tastes better in the sandwich category. I ordered from Uber Eats around 8:20 p.m. and got my order around 9:40 p.m. The driver waited at the store for 30 minutes for them to get the pickup order ready. Well, on my app, it shows the meal is ready, which in reality tons of people lining up waiting for their orders. (according to the driver). I won't order from them online next time.

Yelp
First time Lola visited the place she got sick after eating the food, The food was mediocre-wasn't the best. The service was okay as the cashier was friendly. Place was dirty as there was trash and food all over the place, adding to that there was a homeless lady in the bathroom. overall not great, mango pie was good tho.

Tatum N.

Yelp
Everything was really good, however the adobo rice was more bland than I expected but it balances out the juicy, tender chicken that has an amazing crunch to it. The workers were really nice to me and the overall vibe was astounding. However the hefty price tag is not worth it, but other than that I'll definitely be coming again.

Yelp
Sure, I'll come back to Jollibee's after my first visit and I would recommend as well. Is thier unnecessary hype about this place..... yes and ....also no. Meaning what I ordered was absolutely tasty, however, I didn't experience a mind tingling, eyes rolling back in the head, and weird groaning I have seen in videos of people tasting Jollibees for the first time. Also, to be fair, I didn't order the most popular and beloved dishes of Jollibees: the fried chicken and the weird sweet spaghetti with hot dogs. I mean, come on, I'm not eating hotdog dessert spaghetti. A lot of people do like it. I just know I will not be indulging. The fried chicken is probably good but I've made and had delicious fried chicken and I already know that I will get it when I feel like it and not be super impressed. Probably like it but not a top fave......I digress. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes with gravy, french fries, adobo rice, and a medium Pepsi. First the bad..... those cold, limp, and stale french fries were just plain gross and I definitely missed the calories. Whoever said they taste like McDonald's fries clearly doesn't respect themselves. The Pepsi tasted artificial and metallic as if it was cleansed and not rinsed. Blech! Into the trash! Now, the mashed potatoes and gravy are delish. The regular mashed potatoes needed a bit more gravy. By the way, the gravy is good thanks to it being seasoned well with salt and pepper. The adobo rice, that is seasoned well with charred bites of dark meat chicken is delightful! The best thing on the menu. Sooooo good! I could eat that once a week or once every two weeks. Oh, yeah. I also ordered a peach mango pie. The pie was amazing. It is peach forward and since I am not the biggest fan of mango, it was scrumptious to me. The rice and the mango were so delicious! So yes, I'll be back and at some point I will order the chicken.

Chili B.

Yelp
I would say I wouldn't come back here again. I stick with KFC, Church chicken and Popeye better. Fries it 5 out 10 Peach pie 10 out 10 Smash potato with gravy 4 out 10 Chicken bucket half original and half spicy 9 out 10 Spaghetti 1 out 10

Yelp
I don't understand how Jollibee has such a low rating...I've never had a bad experience, service is nice and fast, and the food is always consistently good when I go. The only time my expectations weren't met was the one time I tried the spicy chicken and found out the spicy chicken isn't as moist as the regular chicken. But I just went back to getting regular and have been happy ever since! I always get the Bucket Treat B when I go. It's meant for a family, but I eat it on my own throughout the week lol it contains a 6pc chicken bucket, spaghetti family pack, and 3 peach mango pies. The REGULAR CHICKEN is the most moist chicken I've ever had in my life! A chicken thigh that is moist down to the bone is almost impossible to come by, but they have it figured out. Like I said earlier, I tried the spicy flavor one time and it was not as moist, which is one of the reasons why I love their chicken, so I'll be sticking with the regular flavor. I think the contrast of the soft, tender meat with the beautifully crunchy skin is part of what makes Jollibee chicken so good. The flavor is pretty mild, but I think it highlights the natural flavor of the chicken and showcases how well it's cooked and prepared. Especially for a fast food restaurant! And if you stick it in an air fryer, it's just as good a few days later as when it's fresh! The JOLLY SPAGHETTI is controversial lol you either love it or hate it. Obviously, I love it! It's uniquely sweet and speaks to me for some reason. I can't explain it. With its cut up hot dog pieces, it looks like something you could make at home, and until I find out how, I'll keep coming back for more! Where do I even start with the PEACH MANGO PIES? Just get it and thank me later! I can't believe a fast food restaurant has such a good dessert The crust is so delicately flaky! And the delicious peach mango filling is to die for! And if you don't eat it fresh, just stick it in an air fryer and it's good as new!

Yelp
Food was good, I think it's just not my taste. Service was good too. Ambiance is appealing and different.

Yelp
My family and I are big Jollibee fans. This particular location did not have adobo rice, but the food was pretty good, in my opinion. For the first time, I tried one of the chicken sandwiches, and I have to say it was actually delicious compared to many other chicken sandwiches I've tried in other fast food restaurants. My favorite thing to eat is their pies, and for the drinks, I like the pineapple drinks. The ambiance of this location - everything was clean. Nothing different from your typical fast food joint, in my opinion. The service was good, but I'm also not asking for much. I ordered my food, and I sat down.

Yelp
this is a filipino fast food place. SO DO NOT EXPECT IT TO SUIT AMERICAN TASTES! i seriously don't understand how jollibee has such low ratings. this place has the best fast food fried chicken hands down. there is no debate. the spaghetti is life changing and the gravy is delicious. the sides, desserts and drinks are also amazing. i've never ever had a bad experience at ANY jollibee location and the food has always been consistently amazing. the employees here were super nice and fast and this location is super clean and in a great location. please give this place a shot!

David B.

Yelp
The food is good for fast paced fast food. Good crunch on the chicken, nice spice level. Good Filipino style cooking. The spaghetti sauce is sweet and the fries crispy. The service is a bit off. We buy $59 worth of food and then charge us for a little Sriracha sauce and mayonnaise. 0.89 each. Really being cheap. What do you think?????

Yelp
It's very rare that I'll update my review because I usually go back 2-3 times before posting one. I feel like that's more fair versus just going once & giving them a review. This place has gone downhill over the past year. Service & quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. Every time I order them through DoorDash or go there myself, they're always out of the spicy chicken joy. Last week when I was here, I went straight through the drive thru & there's a sign that says we are out of spicy chicken. I think it's been two months since they had any. To top it off their POS system was down so they only accepted cash. Luckily I had a little bit of cash on me. The cashier was also rude and rushy with me like I was ordering 100 dollars worth of food when I only ordered a two piece combo. When I asked for extra gravy she rolled her eyes at me, ummm I didn't want a free one, just charge me for an extra one. Another thing to add is every time I go inside, the tables are dirty & floors are sticky. When I received my order, the chicken was lukewarm & wasn't crispy at all, the only thing that was good enough was their pineapple drink. This is the worst Jollibee I've ever been to, it doesn't represent the brand at all. Will I come back? No. If you want terrible service & them never having spicy chicken then this place is for you. I'll just go to their location on Main Street from now on.

Lou C.

Yelp
Noticing there was no restaurants on north side of Westheimer from Houston Center to Eldridge that opens before 11 on Friday morning. The reason I came to Jollibee was because the brand recognition and I have to stop by at Michaels. I just wanted something to drink, initially. But as soon as I saw Spaghetti + Soda for just $7.99. I'm not into big meals. This was perfectly for my morning crave. Cashier reminded me to add a piece of Chickenjoy. Sure, why not? My order was ready right after I got my tea. Oh, they got many non-carbonated drinks than other fast-food restaurants. That's a plus. Because I don't want to fill my tummy with air. I usually go to the Jollibee at Pinoy Corner by Main Street. I'm used to the simple flavor. I don't like too much seasoning on my food. This type of Filipino food satisfying my crave for fried chicken. Bee happy!!

Muhammed Q.

Yelp
The spicy chicken sandwich was really good. And not too pricey for just the sandwich. The burger is made upon order (according to the staff), so it took some time to be ready. Very clean seating and nice music playing.

Patrick L.

Yelp
We usually eat at the on by NRG stadium. The 1st time coming to this on. The service was good and the wait for our food didn't take long. The chicken is still better then any chicken I've had at a fast food restaurant. But the chicken here seem smaller and a little older. But it was still good. And as usual, the place is clean and very quiet. I enjoyed it.

Una A.

Yelp
Finally found a Jollibee that tastes just like the Jollibees in the Philippines! The service is a little slow here, but the servers are nice. I got the Palabok chicken joy and a peach mango pie. Of course, had to get the pineapple refresher. The food was hot and fresh! The Palabok wasn't dry and had just the right amount of sauce. The chicken was extra crispy and juicy on the inside. The gravy will always be my favorite. Had to top it off with the mango peach pie. So flaky and crunch on the outside. Gooey and sweet on the inside. Wish I had ordered more for baon.

Christina M.

Yelp
March 2023 Okay guys, so I came back. I hate to say, I don't have anything better to add. I did try more items so here's my take ... Spaghetti- was kinda sweet and had little cut up hot dogs in it. Reminded me of that canned spaghetti & meatballs I would eat when I was a kid. Not chef boyardee tho, that other brand. Spicy chicken -- is pretty spicy.. like when I ate it, I couldn't taste much else but the spice. Mashed potatoes - tasted like the potato flakes that come in box. Very bland, I added salt and pepper at the house but didn't do much. Palabok - was like this glass noodle style pasta side with crumbled beef in it and a red sauce. I'm not sure what it's supposed to taste like but it reminded me of a Mexican style Fideo without the seasonings. I hate giving a bad review bc this place isn't bad per se, this is just my take on it and my taste palette. This may be how some Filipino food taste like and I'm just clueless to it, but it's not for me, unfortunately. Everything tasted sooo bland and I'm not sure if I'm missing something .. but it's a no for me

Krystelle P.

Yelp
When in doubt, jollibee. Yum!! I love their chicken, spicy or original. Their spaghetti is a must to order with the pineapple juice. The service are amazing and so is the ambiance of the restaurant! This location is great!

Queenie D.

Yelp
I will never understand folks who visits a non-American restaurant/ fast food and complain that it doesn't taste American ... smh. I mean, will it make sense to go to a Taco Bell and be like, "oh no - their tacos don't taste like the tacos from Mexico" ... I'm baffled and insulted. First and foremost, Jollibee is a Filipino joint, and if you're a Filipino looking for the taste of childhood and home, then THIS PLACE DELIVERS. As a Filipino who's lived in Atlanta for 20+ years where we don't have a Jollibee, this is a total treat. Service was quick, food came fresh, and most importantly, it tasted just like the Jollibee back in the Philippines. Yes - the spaghetti sauce is sweet and it's served with hotdogs. Reason being is that in the Philippines, bananas are plentiful and so, we have "banana ketchup" - which is sweet - and is the main ingredients to this pasta dish. It also has hotdogs because it's a cheap and kid-friendly protein alternative ... which most Filipinos are below the poverty line, and folks back at home had to get creative. So, yep - it is not Italian or American based sauce... it's based on the Filipino culture. And did it taste like the spaghetti we have back home? YES, INDEED. Fried chicken and gravy with white rice was also on point. The chicken may be more friendly to the American palette. Palabok was great. But it will be strange if you're not familiar with Filipino food. The pineapple juice was lovely. French fries was, well, French fries. All in all, mad love to this place. Thanks for keeping the taste and experience authentic. I had so much flashbacks to my childhood while I was eating here. Now, I gotta go to YouTube and watch your commercials lol.

Kacie N.

Yelp
This place is THE WORST. Always and ALWAYS out of the Spicy Chicken "Joy" (more like sadness), like if it's mostly requested, why don't yall have high supply to demand? Jollibee went down hill at this point. Same with the location on Main. Just shitty business, and lazy workers who probably don't want to fried up more SPICY CHICKENS. I mean WHO RUNS OUT BEFORE LUNCH TIME????

Janisah Amirah S.

Yelp
Ambiance is good and clean, fast service, parking lot wasn't too cramped in. The lady at the counter helped us get a better deal for our order. She is able to speak both English and tagalog which is a BIG PLUS FOR ME. I love being able to speak to them in our native language. We got the spicy bucket and burger steak with their new banana Langka pie. The bucket was crispy, hot, and JUICY. The burger steak was slightly sweet but that's Filipino cooking for you hahaha. Price is pretty close to other Popeyes. Overall, a good experience!

Jando S.

Yelp
There was a time when this Jollibee was plagued with service issues that resulted in snarky attitudes, delivery lag, and never-ending order mishaps. Based upon a few recent visits, it looks like they got a majority of those service kinks adjusted. I'll never put it last them seeing as they're a fast food joint but that was the only major blemish that I saw. The chicken is still chicken joy and the place is clean and modern. Most people are here for the fried chicken, which has yet to disappoint. The chicken fingers are also fire, but not as juicy as the bone-in chicken joy. The pies and spaghetti are always going to be crowd favorites even if the burgers / mash are underwhelming. I do wish they had spam sliders here like other locations but Energy Corridor has no shortage of additional Filipino establishments. Still, one of the lingering issues is their pace. On one hand it's nice that they take such time preparing the food but for a fast food place it's a little on the slower side. As a result, drive-thru will become a standstill especially if anyone orders a family meal or buckets of chicken. Also to the biz reply below: My name is not Kristinne. Also, 2 Ns?

Yelp
If you don't like this chain, why say anything? Why not just Bee Jolli, or Bee quiet. But I have to be honest, it's not for me. I'm not a fan of Jollibee by any stretch of the imagination and I might even go as far to say that it is pretty damn overrated, because so many seem to be obsessed with it. But having said that, this Filipino fast food brings a lot of joy to a lot of people, and so you can't take away from how popular it is, and how great it is to have in Houston. Some of the items are pretty tasty even though they all seem a little overpriced, and there's merit and originality here in some regards, but it's not really up my alley. So it's always good to have this chain around, and like I said it attracts a really eclectic and fun crowd and is really a hometown favourite for anybody from the old world of the Philippines. This location is over here on Westheimer and it just keeps seeming pretty busy each time we're here. It's smaller than the one in medical center but just as friendly in my limited experience.

Shanya E.

Yelp
I ordered Jollaf rice and it wasn't done so I got mashed potatoes instead . The chicken was great , tasted like regular fried chicken . I had a pineapple refresher drink was was great! That shrimp /pork rice noodle dish was disgusting !!!! There was no shrimp and it tasted old. I'd probably only get the chicken next time.

Kacy M.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for lunch Saturday. It was my second time visiting and their first. We got a bucket of spicy, a bucket of regular, peach pies, banana pies (new), mashed potatoes, fries, rice, and pineapple quenchers. The food was amazing - since it's dark meat, it's moist, juicy, and crunchy (came piping hot). The gravy makes everything better and you can douse all your food and sides in it. The quencher has a great flavor but didn't come that cold - would rather it be icy cold than lukewarm. The line went by quickly but due to lunchtime (was packed) and lack of workers (sign posted on the door outside to please have patience with them), the food took ages to come out. We weren't in a hurry and the wait just made us hungrier (which was good bc we ordered a feast) so we didn't mind too much. Can't wait to come back!

John G.

Yelp
The closest Jollibee to our home is 20 miles away so, I have never tried it before. I was going to be in Houston and decided to pick up a bucket of their spicy chicken since I've heard and seen so much about it. I drive up in the drive thru just after 11 am and a sign on the speaker says they are out of spicy chicken. I worked as a manager at Popeyes before and this is just bad management not ordering enough supply to meet the demand. Needless to say, I drove away empty handed and doubt I will give Jollibee another chance.

Rachel F.

Yelp
The food is good as usual. The serving is pretty slow, but still acceptable. It's close to home so I'll defiantly come back!

JaQuille C.

Yelp
Came on a Monday afternoon. Wasn't too busy so I decided to dine indoors. The restaurant was very clean. Staff was polite. I know some people were saying they were slow, but it was nothing I complained about. They even have a sign on the door asking for patience with the staff. I also came at a "non rush" time. I can imagine the volume of customers they get. When I went it wasn't busy and it took about 7ish minutes to get my food. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and if I was in the area I would go again. 2 piece - chicken was served fresh/hot and was crispy. I wish I would have tried the spicy. Mashed potatoes (2/5) tasted like instant potatoes. Gravy made it better. Make sure to dip the chicken in the gravy. They give you a separate gravy just for dipping. Halo halo (4/5) - So good! Not super sweet. I gave it a minutes for the ice to melt and then mixed it. Would definitely get it again. Peach mango pie (4/5) - Crispy, tasted fresh, served hot, nice portion of filling. Appreciated that it wasn't too sweet.

Jo Ann C.

Yelp
This is a filipino version of fast food. They offer fried chicken, chicken fingers with sides of gravy, rice and adobo rice. They also offer hamburgers, which I am told are good. I had a noodle dish and my partner had chicken tenders. The tenders were nice and crunchy and went well with the gravy. My partner liked the chicken and gravy. My dish was a fast food version of a well liked noodle dish. For me, it tasted too much like fast food noodles and wasn't as successful as the chicken. The drinks were the usual sodas with a pineapple thirst quencher which was refreshing. The dining room was kept neat and clean, they regularly bus the tables, but most patrons politely clean up their trash. I would like to come back and try their chicken sandwiches and pineapple or mango hand pies. We were served efficiently and the area was kept clean.

Daniel C.

Yelp
Da food was gud af, I order chicken and I ate sm chicken that chickens were asking how much chickens was I eating W Jolie b. I also got da chicken sandwich......dat shit was good af it tasted like chicken

Tommy S.

Yelp
Pros: Great tasting chicken and good portion Adobe rice was pretty good as a side Pine apple juice was great as well. Cons: Not cheap The peach-mongo pie doesn't live up to the hype Conclusion: I might come back and try again if I happen to be in the neighborhood

Cariann L.

Yelp
First off, your soda machine is broken so no option but to order the pineapple juice. Would have been nice if we had other option. Ordered 10pc bucket half n half spicy and classic. When we started eating the classic the meat was not fully cooked. Not our first time eating Chicken Joy, been eating this since I was kid. I can tell what is wrong with the chicken. Staff and manager insisted the chicken was cooked with set time for 20 min and there chicken is juicy. There is a thin line between juicy and being raw. O had the two pieces replaced as they don't have any solution to the problem, it looks like they wanted us to eat the chicken alive. Don't come here, go somewhere else.

Quynh M.

Yelp
Worst experience ever. When they first opened, I had no problem with them. Couple months later, I stopped by and some items are not there anymore but other locations still do. I love Jollibee but this location is ridiculous. My friend comes from out of state so wanna introduce him to Jollibee. I told him the rice with beef patty and gravy is their must try so we head to drive thru ordering the 2pc burger steak with 1 side. We got to the window, the guy didn't say hi. Took my card for payment and gave back when it's done, again, no words. We picked up our order which was surprisingly fast then we went home, opened the box, and NO RICE. So we got charged for $7.99 plus tax for 2 beef patties with a bit of gravy, 1 side of fries and nothing else.. So disappointed...I'd rather drive extra 10-15mins to the Missouri city location than come back to this one.

Alyssa U.

Yelp
Ordered Jollibee through Doordash. Food tasted okay. BUT found pieces of plastic in the palabok and gravy..... Maybe plastic from where the food is stored in but I am unhappy with how much plastic I found and the fact I even found plastic! Something needs to be addressed!!! See photos of some plastic we found ...

Todd M.

Yelp
Filipino fast food. It's everything I expected. What do you expect? It's a rather new location. Chicken, fried chicken, fries, spaghetti. It would be awesome if they served alcohol and turned into a Filipino bar after midnight.

Patrick M.

Yelp
Food taste good but it is to pricey for the serving size. There is indoor seating to beat the summer heat. I used the drive through and the customer service was good, received my order in short order and it was correct. I probably won't be returning due to the price point but that is my personal preference and not a reflection of the establishment.

Yelp
It's just not very good. The chicken itself tasted very similair to church's chicken, but for much more expensive. The gravy tastes like some basic KFC gravy, nothing special. The burger patties were pretty off-putting. I tried to give the spaghetti a chance but it was horrific. The mango pies were just ok and no better than Whataburger apple pies. It feels like Jollibee is an amalgamation of cheap items from different fast food places, but at a cost that is way too expensive for what they are. I'd put Chickfila, Popeyes, Whataburger, and In-n-out way further above this place. I really don't see the appeal.

Yelp
The chicken was great! Hot, fresh and great customer service. I took mine to-go and had about a 15 minute drive home. It was still hot when I got home. Although I wasn't a super fan of the gravy, it just kind of tasted a bit bland. I forgot to try the damn magi pie. Gotta go back for that!

Yelp
First time at this location, arrived around 7pm, not busy, and was welcomed with a greeting and smile, off to a good start. We got the spaghetti, Palabok which they brought to our table while we waited for a fresh batch of chicken, which was well worth the wait, hot crispy, yet tender inside, the regular is my favorite, but the spicy was solid, only thing missing here is a red ribbon to be next door.

Yelp
Jollibee is a real treat for my family. There used to only be one location in Houston and it was super far from me. I'm so incredibly lucky to find this location here by my boyfriends house only 5 minutes away. The pineapple juice is a must!!! Get the 2 piece spicy chicken joy with spaghetti if you are pretty hungry and pay 50¢ extra to get the juice. This is some of the tastiest chicken and gravy you can get at a fast food joint. I always have to get us an extra side of spaghetti or else we won't have any left overs. The workers here are quick and efficient and this location has never missed a single thing!!! This place should be on your foodie bucket list!

Yelp
I thought Jollibee was only available in NYC and CA but I came to learn that there's two in Houston while visiting my parents. I took my little sister here while we were out shopping. The cashier Anastacia was so kind and apologized when my order was taking a little long (which isn't her fault). I would give 5 stars for customer service but unfortunately, as a reviewer my reviews depend heavily on the food. Despite the wait time (one would think the time was used effectively in ensuring food quality), the chicken was not crispy and was subpar in flavor. I could only say this with confidence since I'm from NYC and had chickenjoy from all the locations there. The spicy chicken sandwich on the other hand, was decent. I might give the other location a try when I revisit Texas next year, if covid allows.

Yelp
Love that this fast food joint has paper towels in their bathroom and it's CLEAN. First time getting really good chicken and gravy! Weirdly they have spaghetti too. Didn't try it this time, but will bee back! Better than Popeyes to me.

Yelp
So my cousin has been hyping this place up for months. Saying when. He has a fried chicken fix, this is the only place he'll order from. So I ran into it the other day and thought I'd give it a try. Went through their drive thru so did not experience the full restaurant. I had a three piece meal. I will say it was good. There is a different flavor here vs going to Church's or Popeye's. I got mashed potatoes and fries to go with. Both were good as well. They offer spicy seasoned as well as unseasoned. The spicy for me was not that hot, but I could tell it was seasoned. It was nice that it wasn't overwhelming where my sinuses would give out and my nose did not start to run. I have been to places where I couldn't taste anything because my mouth was on fire. The staff at the window was friendly. I had to park and they brought the food out to my car. So it appears their food is fresh as well. Will definitely return when I am in the area feenin' for friend chicken.

Yelp
DAMN. Took them long enough LOL I've been waiting for this location to open since forever and they opened up super quietly too, probably trying to avoid all the crazy fried chicken fanatics breaking down their doors: Me OVERALL TASTE REVIEW: 6.5/10, would eat here again Original Fried Chicken: 7.5/10 (They ran out of spicy :/ ) -Idk what the other reviewer was talking abt but ours had a good amount of flavor but the flavor isn't anything crazy or unique. It's well cooked, ~mOiSt~, but size of the thighs were on the smaller side Adobe rice: 6/10 It's ok, kinda plain but savory but still just better than plain white rice. Tastes wayy better with gravy added Mashed potatoes: 7/10 Nothing special. Like a better version of grade school mashed potatoes but I still like it, ask for extra gravy Palabok Fiesta: 5/10 Very thin vermicelli noodles with a dry Asian flavored sauce kinda like "Bánh Canh Tôm Cua" (Ifykyk) but way less shrimpy. It's fine but I wouldn't order again Spicy Deluxe Fried Chicken Sandwich: 8/10 It's pretty good! Very good size with a fresh jalapeño spice! And it's actually has a decent amount of spice, not gentrified spice lol Cheesy Yum Burger: 7/10 It's different! The burger has plain ingredients but it's the sauce that adds all the flavor! It's creamy, savory with a slightly sweet taste. Almost slightly fruity but it's good! Def try it out Pineapple juice: 7/10 It's just diluted pineapple juice lol. Nothing crazy but it's still good Peach Mango Pie: 7.5/10 Crispy and not too sweet! It tastes exactly as it sounds, peach + mango. Def needs ice cream! Ube pie: 7/10 Creamy and slightly sweet. And idc what anyone says, Ube tastes almost like taro with a slightly more concentrated taste. Good but needs ICE CREAM ***Bonus: No I didn't get the spaghetti bc I've had it at the West U location and I HATE IT OMG. People either love it or hate it but to me it tastes like frozen dinner spaghetti with cheap hot dogs cut in that they just dumped in sugar. It's not even like a special flavor, it just straight up tastes like so much sugar + spaghetti sauce. I'm not abt it but for the ppl that does like it, y'all nasty lol

Yelp
Terrible place to go. Not recommend. We ordered and wait for 2 hours. And we found out that they didn't fix our order. I ask the supervisor and no explanation at all. I decided just to refund our order and leave. Employees are rude. Lack of customers service. Don't waste your time to go to this place.

Yelp
The food is absolutely awful. The chicken is so greasy and dry and the gravy, yuck. I don't understand how this is a successful chain. I will never, ever come back here. Driving by even makes my stomach hurt.

Yelp
Worst customer service ever. You walk in and noone greets you or even acknowledges that you are there. I waited in the register for 15min w/o anyone helping me. No one wants to make eye contact. I left due to poor customer service. The food is not that great for them to treat returning customers that way. It was empty inside with only 2 tables occupied and 1 car in the drive thru. Definitely not the pinoy hospitality here.

Yelp
Nothing to see here folks. Flavorless fries. Greasy chicken. And a confused drive thru where they almost gave me my order twice when they forgot the soft drink. Also note a very family oriented menu. Think various size buckets with sides. Just want something for yourself? You're limited to 2 or 3 piece meals. Plain or spicy. No sandwiches. No chicken strips or nuggets. Bottom line? Stick with Popeyes or KFC. Jollibees needs to get its act together.

Yelp
Service is good but the chicken is terrible . Not worth the drive nor the bother . Its very bland , it reminded me of " hospital food" , if hospitals would serve fried chicken !. The only " saving grace" was the gravy, basically you have to dip the chicken in the gravy to eat it . Very disappointed, in other words you only go to Jollibee for the gravy lol .
