"The worldwide fast-food chain from the Philippines with a hyper-loyal fanbase opened its first area outpost during the pandemic in Wheaton, Maryland’s Westfield mall. Hit orders include buckets of fried “chickenjoy” with brown gravy, “yumburgers,” sweet cheesy spaghetti loaded with hot dogs and ham, and peach mango handpies. This summer, some 2,500 guests showed up for opening day of its second area location in Alexandria, Virginia." - Pat Padua, Tierney Plumb

The chicken was my favorite part. It was very juicy and flavorful. The pineapple juice was my second most favorite. Very fresh and delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of the sides. I didn’t realize the spaghetti had pork in it and the one employer replaced the side with no hesitation. He was very nice. Glad I stopped by and tried it.

They did not serve spicy chicken (which is why I was here for) when I visited, so I tried mild ones. There were not much people, nor was there a line. Food came quickly. They were good and juicy, but not as impressive as I would expect. Overall it is fast food that tastes similar to other brands, a bit generic to be honest. Wish I had a chance to try spicy flavor. Hope I can be impressed one day.

Google
I'm satisfied trying something new for the first time. I'm not crazy about their fries not real crispy and hot. Their spicy fried chicken and spaghetti was fantastic. I'm not too upset they don't have white meat but they would get more business for sure! Their peach and mango pie was real juicy so becareful biting into it. High starch options no veggie that was disappointing. Overall I enjoyed the experience everyone were very friendly.

Jollibee’s fried chicken definitely taste different from its competitors like church’s chicken or KFC. Their batter tastes much better in my opinion and not as thick. Chicken is juicy. Service was good. Line was a bit long since last time we went on a weekend, but the wait was not long at all. As for their spaghetti, sorry, not our cup of tea. Taste like drenched in sugar and ketchup. This location is very convenient, as part of the Westfield Montgomery mall, its easy to access and find parking. Do recommend by @winedinenvacay

We stopped by here for the quick bite to eat. It was my first time here and I got the chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and a pineapple mango drink with a pie. The service here was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere here was very chill with a good amount of seating. The food was hot and fresh. I enjoyed my meal, with the mashed potatoes. I'll definitely come back and try other items. The tables and spaces were also very clean. My girlfriend enjoys the chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy.

Google
We ordered chicken, spaghetti, original chicken sandwich, and an ube pie. The chicken was so crispy and juicy — it was hands down the star of the show. The spaghetti sauce was a little too sweet and thr flavor profile vaguely reminded me of sloppy Joe’s. The original chicken sandwich would benefit from having an additional acidic element like pickles, there was way too much mayo. The ube pie was crispy and sweet, definitely worth getting (especially since it’s not a permanent menu item). The dining room was quite packed and we went on a weeknight. Overall definitely recommend checking this place out at least once. The staff were also very friendly and efficient.

If you live around the area should try it out but if you live 30-55mins away dont bother. It’s considered fast food for a reason. Service was not jolly. Food ok. The chicken skin was crispy but the inside was dry. Peach mango pie never disappoint.

My husband has been wanting to try Jollibee since we first saw it in Hong Kong in 2017. We were not aware that locations had opened within 30 minutes of our home. We opted for the Wheaton, MD shop 7 miles from us. We had tried ordering online for pick up, but there were several issues with their online ordering platform. Items would appear and disappear. Items would be added that we never clicked on. We could not find burgers anywhere. We tried for 15 minutes-then gave up. The young woman who took our order was extremely thoughtful and friendly. We give her 5 stars. Her rude, unprofessional, manager receives 1 star. He accused us of attempting to get a $5 cheeseburger without paying. He made this untrue accusation twice. We paid for 1 cheeseburger, but it was missing from our order. The fried chicken (original, spicy wasn't available) was very good. Mash potatoes and gravy were also very good. The cheeseburger was $5, small, and there wasn't anything remarkable about it. The French fries were horrible. Soft and undercooked. They definitely were not crispy as described. If we ever try Jollibee again, we'll go to their Alexandria restaurant.

Yelp
Their Aloha chicken sandwich was tasty and flavorful. The fries were super crisp and cooked to perfection. It was full and busy upon arrival but staff was friendly & provided good service. It was very easy to access and had a good atmosphere.

Yelp
The chicken was bloody. I will be surprised if my son and I do not throw up tonight. I've been eating fried chicken my whole life. I understand that dark meat can sometimes have a pinker hue closer to the bone. But this was blood red and it was in both the drumstick and the thigh throughout the piece. Only plus was getting out daily iron supplement from the blood. Absolutely disgusting and will never go again.

Yelp
It's National Fried Chicken day so we decided to do a taste test between Jollibee which we had not tried before and Colonel Sanders. We opted for 3 piece original with fries. The fries remind me of McDonald's but they were not great so I'd say give those a miss. The chicken is very crispy and reminds me of Popeyes but seems a healthier option. It was very crispy which was nice but I still like the flavor of the crispy KFC. Perhaps next time we will try a sandwich and or the spicy version of the Fried Chicken. Plenty parking and nice you can access this outside of the mall.

Yelp
Finally got the chance to try the famous Jollibee fried chicken and wasn't impressed. They didn't have spicy chicken today and the skin wasn't crispy at all. It was slightly breaded and mushy. I wish they offered white meat. Now, the gravy was really good and I did enjoy their sweet spaghetti and Peach Mango pie. Next time I will stick with their chicken sandwich. For fried chicken, Popeyes is the gold standard for me.

Yelp
We ordered the Palabok, Spaghetti, Chicken Joy, Mango Peach Pie, and Pineapple juice. Everything was very very good! The chicken was crispy, moist, and well seasoned. The peach mango pie is a must try everytime I visit. Service was quick and everything was clean.

Yelp
This place has been on my list for quite some time and I finally got the chance to try I ended up doing the chicken joy meal Here's what I ended up getting Two pieces of spicy chicken ,excellent very crispy hot and tasty There was a gravy which was pretty good It didn't get used much cuz I like my chicken crispy and not covered with gravy Jolly spaghetti hated it. It's like they put ketchup and cheese into spaghetti into some weird mishmash. Anyway didn't like it it went to the birds. Ube pie was meh Pineapple drink was great This is supposed to be fast food. What really got me was the fact that there were lots of commands First off they said that they were out of spicy chicken a lot of back and forth with the counterstaff and finally they did say that they had the spicy chicken. Also they said before I was ordering it would be a 30 to 40 minute wait which having never been at this establishment seemed like a stretch but hey I wanted to try it out. Anyway didn't take that long to get my food In fact it probably only took 15 minutes but I thought that the assertion that it would be okay to wait that long for food was a little bit strange anyway the counter service was pretty subpar. They also did give me a buzzer to let me know and the minute I walked out the buzzer rang for me to come get my food. Parking is free and in a lot Ambiance's clean very nice. It's very busy and noisy The price point was pretty good All of the above food was under $15. I think if I was in the area I might come back. I'm also tempted to try the other location to see if the service is any better.

Yelp
The first location to open up in Maryland, had a rough opening weekend back in the first year when it initially opened, but things definitely have improved since then. I got the following: The new Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Bacon and Cheese, Side of Jollibee Spaghetti, Yumburger With Cheese, Ube Pie Dessert Their chicken sandwiches are always a great way of taking the flavor from the Chickenjoy and putting it in a sandwich. Nice juicy and tender breast of chicken, nicely fried with their crispy exterior and savory seasonings, plus the addition of mayo and their amazing bun, it's delicious! Plus the addition of bacon and cheese in this item can only help make it better. The Yumburger with Cheese is a guilty pleasure of mine, I always love the flavors of the sauce and the softness of the bun + meat patty. Their meat patty isn't like other traditional fast food burgers, it's prepared in a different way and the meat is more tender and condensed, giving it a different texture. I just wish the solo Yumburger wasn't so pricey for how small of a sandwich it is. Lastly, the Ube Pie Dessert, as with all of their pies, was fantastic. Deliciously sweet ube filling, nice crispy and flakey pie crust, it's a great combination. Overall I love the flavors of Jollibee every time I come here, the prices are a bit on the higher side, but as it's a chain there isn't much that could be done about that. Service is friendly and efficient with the long lunch rushes, and the restaurant ambiance is always cute and appealing with their Jollibee mascot statues and posters around the establishment!

Yelp
I'm crazy about this band! Love it! If you want more details about the brand, you can read my other reviews at the Chantilly VA and Alexandria VA locations! This branch is no different than the others, and that's how consistent and amazing this brand is and its quality control! Very clean location just like the others! I'm just sad they are missing the spicy chicken lately at all branches, but let's hope it's coming soon! Order ahead with the mobile app and look for promo codes! Try it, vote for the review , message me, or compliment me with any comment or question, and don't forget to ... Pray for me ;)

Yelp
We are finally in a state that has one. We drove over 45 minutes to get some spicy chicken. But when we got there we were told they are having issues with the supplier. So we got a few things and we sat in the car and had a feast. We got the spaghetti which was good but way too sweet for us. Others liked it in the car just not us to much. The chicken was good but not the best. The fries are really good and really hot. When we come back we will try them again.

Yelp
Thursday 10/12/2023 I made a takeout order and got a pc chicken joy meal $13 (spicy and regular chicken, spaghetti, and a pineapple quencher) and a peach mango pie (for free when making an account). The peach mango pie was wack, didn't really do nothing for me in terms of taste and flavor. The 2 pc fried chicken in regular and spicy were solid but the spicy had a bit more flavor. The spaghetti was decent, it comes with their sweetish tomato sauce and chopped hot dogs. The pineapple quencher was pretty good tho (make sure you get no ice or light ice with it). Jollibee ended up being a mid experience that I can't see myself returning to.

Nikki Z.

Yelp
Service was friendly. Restaurant is clean. The food came out fast. Still warm and crispy. We ordered a yumburger, 1 chicken piece w spaghetti, and a chicken sandwich. Not sure what it is, but I feel like this location is not as tasty as the one in Jersey. I know it doesn't make sense, since it should be from the same manufacturer, right?? A little disappointed because they didn't have pancit palabok, citing that they ran out of ingredients and have to wait 2 more weeks for the next shipment of ingredients. Despite my little criticism, I will still come back to this location. This is the only one in the DMV.

Melody Y.

Yelp
I got the bucket full of chicken. Unfortunately they ran out of the spicy but the original was good. Light batter, crunchy, and salty. The peach mango pie is good but I had higher expectations from everyone raving about it. Sweet, crispy outside, but the filling taste like canned peaches. It's good overall but I'd give it 3.5/5. The sweet spaghetti is pretty good. I'd come back again to try the spicy chicken.

Yaran S.

Yelp
Great service! The staff recommended me to have noodles, meat and sauce all separated for a better and longer storage. Palabok itself was so so. The meat had a weird texture.

Yelp
I can now confidently say that I have tried fast food spaghetti, and I liked it. I am aware that this place is known for their chicken, but the chicken didn't interest me. This place was extremely busy when I showed up here. Just to order there was a line. When I finally was able to place my order I kind of ran around on the menu. I saw the spaghetti and I knew I wanted to give that a try so that was one of the items I got. I also ordered a Cheesy Yumburger...meal. Before I realized it was the meal I was already paying for it. So that meant I got fries and a drink as well. Once I ordered I kind of stood off to the side with everyone else that was waiting for their food with my food beeper (I haven't seen one of these things in years). It was a good thing that I did because I was able to scope out the place to find a table, when I say this place was packed, it was seriously packed. But it was like and inconsistent packed. To the point where like two people would take up a table for six. I finally saw a two top and kind of ran over to the table to stack my claim. I got myself set up, jacket off and on the back of the chair, and the food beeper went off. I go up to grab my food and stood there for a minute after my tray was handed to me. The employee behind the counter kind of just stared at me and I said I need my cup for my drink. Finally get that, drop my tray at the table and go to the drink station to fill up. Finally get back to the table and start to unpack my food, only to notice that I had no utensils to eat the spaghetti. So back to the counter I go to be stared at again. I tell him I have no utensils and get this deep sigh as if I was asking for the world. I get my fork and scuttle away as if I had just been chastised. Finally able to dig into the food and I was pleasantly surprised. The spaghetti was flavored decently and I swear had pieces of hot dog in it. The Cheesy Yumburger was flavored amazingly. I don't know what they put in their sauce, but it really makes the burger taste amazing. And the fries, are some of the best fast food fries I have ever come across. This was my first visit to a Jollibee and I can tell you that it won't be my last.

Yelp
I ordered online and my wife picked up our order. Everything was ready to go when she arrived. This was my first time trying their food. We had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was okay. It was tender and juicy, but otherwise, a bit boring in flavor. I did not notice any heat from spice. We ordered the 6 piece bucket that was supposed to include 3 thighs and 3 legs. Instead, we received 4 legs and 2 thighs. Considering I don't like chicken legs, this was disappointing. As for the chicken, there was no spicy option, so we settled on original. The batter was crispy and not heavy. However, it did not stand out and also did not have much of flavor profile. Considering the prices compared to other fast food chicken, I was hoping for something better. For me, the flavor okay and I give that 3 out of 5. I had to knock a star off for not getting what we ordered. As for fast food chicken, I much prefer my spinach eating friend's chicken.

Whitney M.

Yelp
The location is conveniently located right as you enter into the shipping plaza. It's pretty busy but the staff was doing their best to get to all of the customers. I ordered chicken strips, two piece chicken, mashed potatoes, a peach mango pie and the new coconut pineapple pie. Aaron was very helpful and gave a order disk to know when to come back to the counter to get the order. There were a few very rude customers pushing through and behaving as if the restaurant was there strictly for them but everyone else was friendly and patient. The wait was a little long but the sign on the door let us know they are looking staff. Dessert first! I enjoyed them both. The coconut pineapple f does not have the artificial sweet coconut taste and I was glad for that. The crust was buttery and the treat itself was not extra sweet ( a plus for me. I don't like super sweet things). The chicken was juicy on the inside and the crunchy on the outside. The spiciness was warm and had just enough kick to it for those who like heat ( me) and not so much to deter those who are iffy with spices. The tenders were good and had a nice crunch. The mashed potatoes and gravy: I ordered with gravy on the side just to be safe ( gravy has no pork according to staff). I didn't like either. The mashed potatoes had no depth of flavor and the gravy, well I can't describe it beyond it reminding me of liquidized dressing ( flavor only). The smoothness of the gravy had me excited. Although I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, if I'm the area I wouldn't be upset about grabbing chicken here again. I'd stick with the chicken and dessert though.

N S.

Yelp
Never any spicy chicken ever.... hype the spicy and never have it....do not eat here....others review say supply issues....gimme a break ..just bad business practices

Julieta Y.

Yelp
They do not accept coupons they send in the mail I'm a first time visitor very disappointed be warned

Yelp
I finally got a chance to try Jollibee and I am totally a fan! Their fried chicken was moist, tender, and I love the skin as it's so crunchy and finger licking good. I really like the spicy flavor. It has a good kick but not overwhelming. I finds the chicken similar to Popeyes but less crunchy. Other items that I like here are the pineapple slush and the peach mango pies. The pies are fried lightly and not as sweet as the pies from other fast food places such as McDonalds. I recommend the pineapple slush to wash down the fried chicken. Their gravy was good with the fried chicken but I don't think it's needed since it's good on its own. I wasn't a fan of the spaghetti. It was too sweet for my liking when it comes to spaghetti. But I bet you kids will eat it in an instance! Even the pickier ones! Haha! Please open another location closer to Reston, VA so I can stop by weekly!

Ketsanee P.

Yelp
I heard a lot of people praise Jollibee is a fast food restaurant that has the best fried chicken in the US even though they are a franchise from Philippines. Well, for me, I think they are great quality one and better than some other brands but not terrific. Anyway their dining room is spacious, nice and feel comfortable for this location.

Robert R.

Yelp
I have seen so many positive videos on the Internet about Jolly be that I was really looking forward to trying this fast food location that is famous in the Philippines. I really wanted to write a good review because of everything. I've heard about this Asian fast food chain. So I went for lunch today with a coworker and unfortunately it was not very good in so many ways. The person that took our order at the counter was extremely cold. We waited 25 minutes for our order, which was a pretty simple order a chicken sandwich with french fries and a two piece chicken with adobo rice. The restaurant was only maybe 1/3 full so it's not like they were Over extend it. Both of the items ordered came lukewarm. The french fries were cold. The rice was cold. What I found odd two is your soft drinks behind the counter they put a few cubes of ice and then you go to the soda fountain. I'm thinking it's because they don't want you to get more than two refills on your soda! Also, they gave us only two paper napkins! But the main reason this restaurant besides poor food does not deserve a good review was my coworker went to wash his hands in the restroom and he said the restroom was disgusting. It was so dirty.

Jason A.

Yelp
Long waiting times and workers always give an attitude when you ask any questions. Also the establishment was very dirty. The food was good but the service was terrible.

Timo F.

Yelp
To be fair, I have not been here in six or seven years so please take this review with a grain of salt. I do recall that the service was rather slow / we rarely saw the server despite the place being nearly empty during late lunch time. I remember waiting a relatively long time for food to arrive (30-40 mins)). The food tasted good, but was overall unremarkable... it was fine! I remember that the stewed chicken, tasted a bit like a mild sweet curry (I forgot the proper name of the dish) , was pretty sad looking on the plate, but I enjoyed the unusual flavors. The serving sizes/portions were generous however. The ambiance was nice and clean.

Christine Y.

Yelp
It's one of the best fast-food fried chicken in the area (dare I say better than Popeyes). My husband and I walked in around 4:30-5 PM, and thankfully there was no queue to order. From order to pick up, everything was quick. We shared the 6-piece fried chicken with 2 regular sides (adobo rice and mashed potato), 2 drinks, and it was more than enough for us. The fried chicken by default comes with a tub of their delicious gravy, which has a hint of curry flavor. We ordered all spicy. When we were eating it, it did not taste super spicy, but our stomachs told us otherwise the next day. Adobo rice was very flavorful and good texture. Needless to say, the mashed potato was great (and probably my favorite side). The only downfall was I felt like they had limited seating for the amount of crowd they bring in. At 4:30 PM, which isn't even peak meal time, there were a lot of people eating in the store. We barely got a seat. I would recommend doing pick up if possible. We will definitely be doing so!

DeAndre J.

Yelp
We stopped by here for the quick bite to eat. It was my first time here and I got the chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and a pineapple mango drink with a pie. The service here was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere here was very chill with a good amount of seating. The food was hot and fresh. I enjoyed my meal, with the mashed potatoes. I'll definitely come back and try other items. The tables and spaces were also very clean. My girlfriend enjoys the chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy. They have a lot of menu options to choose from and the staff is very helpful. I can definitely see why people really enjoy the brand. I'm curious to see what other new items they will have.

Sylvie C.

Yelp
Picked up an order placed online for a party of 4. The order was ready upon arrival and much sooner than the anticipated ready time. The parking is easy and free. It's right next to Wheaton Mall so very convenient if you also have errands to do at Costco or Target as well. The food itself was delicious. I appreciated the crispy batter on the fried chicken. Just wished they had the peach pies available. The pancit was my favorite. Spaghetti not so much. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Zhicao F.

Yelp
The place was already busy at noon. Took us about 5 minutes to reach the ordering counter. The biggest issue of this place now is order pickup and delivery. There was no systemic order calling or delivery system, no display board for order status and readiness, and no specific staff member in charge of calling out or delivering order. Our receipts had names and order number, but the staff mostly called out names, and the sound of calling was usually submerged in the rather noisy environment. They were also rather slow in getting the order together and ready on the table. It took us a full 10 minutes or so to finally get our order, and some of the items were already lukewarm. Besides, for dishes requiring fork and spoon, you had to ask the counter desk staff to get them for you, and they were usually too busy getting the orders ready. On the other hand, the food was pretty solid. Pineapple quencher had taste of real pineapple juice rather than the concentrated stuff commonly found on bottled drinks. Fried chicken had very crispy skin but juicy and hot meat inside, one bite and the juice literally filled my whole mouth. I think the mild/original chicken was slightly bland, and I loved the spicy chicken more. Peach mango pies had generous portion of creamy stuffing inside. Hamburger steak was a bit luke warm due to long waiting time, but the flavor tasted well. I'd rather have less gravy to go with the hamburger though. At the end of the day, I do hope they can figure out a way of calling out and delivering orders faster so that we could enjoy the good food.

Mhailene M.

Yelp
I ordered nearly everything on the menu except the spaghetti since I don't really care for sweet spaghetti but everything was delicious!! They were really busy when I came in but the line to order was actually what took the longest and still wasn't that bad. Found a seat quickly and noticed employees were cleaning tables immediately as soon as patrons left to open more seating. The place is very clean and nice space. I ordered pineapple juice, hamburger steak, spicy and regular chicken, Palabok, mango and banana pie, rice and mash potatoes with gravy, chicken tenders and fries. I was told and also the person in front of me it would be a 45 minute wait... that would honestly deter people from ordering bc no one would wanna wait that long. However I said ok and got my drinks and seat. Within 5 minutes the person in front of me was already grabbing her food from the counter and I got mine right after her !! I just sat down and started eating. Everything was hot and tasted freshly cooked. I enjoyed everything and wouldn't mind to come back again !!

Yelp
Honestly, I just come here because I'm Filipino, and I grew up eating Jollibee! My family always wants some, so I usually get a large order for them now that we have this location that is much closer to us. I love meee some crispy chicken joy and jolly spaghetti. I always like to tell people that Filipino spaghetti has a sweeter sauce (banana ketchup), so they know what to expect. If you're looking for more suggestions on what to get in addition to chicken, I highly recommend Palabok (which is another traditional Filipino noodle dish) and yum burgers (they're simple burgers but I like the yum sauce). Not a fan of peach mango pies, but my parents like them. And when I'm feeling really rebellious, l also get the pineapple quencher drink (I don't normally like pineapple but it's nostalgic). I waited to write a review because their opening week last year was hectic to say the least, but I think it's definitely normal now so I wouldn't worry too much about a long wait. I live 30 mins from this location, so I always just call ahead and schedule a pick up, and it's been fine. I recommend doing that if you're not planning to dine in.

Christina Y.

Yelp
Finally a Jollibee in Maryland! My husband and I came by this location on a Sunday and it was packed! Regardless, the flow of orders being taken and served were steady. They did let us know that it would be a 10ish minute wait for chicken tenders which we appreciated getting a heads up for. Inside, there was a good amount of seating and employees kept the spaces clean despite the amount of foot traffic. We ordered tenders with pineapple bbq sauce (yum), spaghetti (it has hotdog slices yum!), fries, a chicken sandwich, and a peach mango pie. The fried food had a good amount of crisp and the spices plus sauces were yummy! Fries were pretty much like standard fries and it was the dipping sauces that made it great! The peach mango pie does not skimp you on the filling at all. The outer crust is so crispy and they serve it nice and warm. The restaurant is right next to Wheaton mall on the Target side and parking is plentiful right out front.

Yelp
I can confidently say this place lives up to the hype! The chicken sandwhich is delicious, nothing unique but very tasty and crispy, especially for a fast food joint. The rice was ok. I feel like it could have had more flavor. I'd recommend something else unless maybe getting it with the gravy. I'll try that next time. The winners here are the spaghetti and pie. Absolutely delicious. I've never had Filipino spaghetti before, but I'm definitely going to try making it at home. And the pie was super tasty and truly something unique you should definelty try. All in all, food was pretty good, staff and service were incredibly friendly and on time, and I came away feeling that my 45 min drive in DC traffic was worth it!

Vivian T.

Yelp
I'll preface this with I would probably give this 3.5 stars and that it may be my friends hyped this up a lot for me so I had some really high expectations going in that went even higher seeing the long line of people. We got chicken joys. One with spaghetti and one with the palabok. The chicken joys come with gravy which is fun. Can't really go wrong with adding gravy for dipping! We also got a chicken sandwich and two peach mango pies. They had some spicy chicken on the rack but they were all reserved for online orders but I'm surprised they were not making any more. The other reviews are not wrong. The wait is long but the service was friendly. They call orders ready for pickup by name so make sure to listen for that. Once the food was ready, it was decent. I wasn't sure what to expect for a Filipino based chain. Not mind blowing but my bf really liked the fried chicken and the chicken sandwich and wants to try the spicy versions next time to see what they're like. The spaghetti was decent and just sweeter than your typical Italian spaghetti. The palabok was decent with a pour over of garlic, shrimp, some meat. Might try that again. The peach mango pie though was delicious. Think McDonald's apple turnover but with peach and mango and a crunchy glaze of sugar on the outside. I would definitely get those again though could only have one before getting a serious sugar rush. It's worth checking out - a different experience and take on food while being casual but clean (bf said it's a fast food place but doesn't smell like one). We'd come back. Think of this like how people debate about In N Out maybe... some people rave about it and would probably rate 5 stars and others 3 stars or lower (like some reviews for here). Just depends on your style.

Yelp
This place sucx they don't have "white meat" chicken they only have thighs and legs. If you want white meat you have to order the dry lake bed looking tenders or the same ol chicken sandwich. I ordered the Two Burger Steak Meal and all it was are two mini Salisbury steak patties with can gravy n mushrooms. I will never go here again a total waste of $12 bucks

Yelp
Jollibee's app is not that great. It showed the shop was closed but we decided to drive by since we were in the area and found the shop was actually open. There was a line nearly out the door when we arrived. After 10-15 min, we put in our order with an enthusiastic fella for the chickenjoy (fried chicken), adobo rice, gravy, spicy chickenwich, mango pie and banana/jackfruit pie. We stood off to the side to wait for our order...for 30-40 mins! Were they out of food? NO! The order processing system was the bottleneck. We thought after several months past the opening rush they would have ironed out the process. What a struggle! The chickenjoy was moist / juicy. The gravy was thicc and a good accompaniment to the chicken. The adobo rice was like dirty rice but lacked flavor. The chichenwich was also very good. Bread held up. Chicken juicy. Breading on the chicken was crunchy. The pies reminds me of the McDonald's apple pie in look but with a sugar crunch on the outside. The filling was good too.

Yelp
Please do yourself a favor and order online on the weekend. This place was so busy the Saturday I went and I was grateful to order online to not have to wait (the check out line was out the door... and I tried to order over the phone prior to going online and the wait was 12 minutes to speak with someone). The store can get very chaotic, but the food is worth it. I had to wait to get my food a bit (even though I came a few minutes after my pick up time) and get the attention of the staff to ask if my order was ready. So... you've been warned! Also, although the staff here isn't the most patient or kind, I can tell they really are trying their best. It's not always possible to smile or thank the customer when it's so busy. I got what I ordered and that's what was important to me at the time. We ordered a few items and my husband loved the crispy chicken sandwich. It was indeed crispy, but I felt it was dry (he did not!). I really liked the burger steak with rice and gravy (all beef). My husband felt that the burger reminded him of burger day at his elementary school cafeteria, and I agreed, but it was reminiscent of school in the best way for me. We also got the pineapple quencher (very sweet, loved it) and the fruit pies (highlight of the meal). Parking is free, plentiful, and right outside of the restaurant. We parked closer to the Giant just to be sure not to be in an area that was too busy.

Yelp
It's Jollibee! Popular so the time is an average wait. I don't expect it to be an "America fast food" expectation where the time has to be like 5 minutes ish. Palabok is not watery. Yum burger fresh. Langka not too sweet. Clean self serve fountain area. Clean table and flooring. Overall, not much to complain! I do however bummed out there is no halo-halo.

Yelp
I placed my order on Friday online for pick up at 3pm on Saturday. Upon arriving, I went up to the Claim signage and told them my name. The associate said it wasn't ready. I waited 20 minutes and went back up. Another associate asked for my name and they had to place it again through the register, at least that's what it appeared like. Kind of disappointed that that happened. I should have known when others picked up their order quickly that something wasn't right. They comped me with two peach mango pie which was nice for the inconvenience. I got a 2 pc chicken with adobo rice and a pineapple quencher. My friend got a 1 pc drumstick and the jolly spaghetti. What made the chicken unique was serving it with gravy. My friend and I shared our sides so that we could sample each. I liked the spaghetti because it was sweet whereas she had a preference for it to be less sweet. The adobo rice was moist and flavorful. She said the pineapple quencher was like canned pineapple juice that is diluted with added extra sugar. I really liked it, but if you don't have a sweet tooth it's probably not for you. The peach mango pie was delish as well. Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. Place was fairly packed, but the crowd came in waves. I was kinda surprised given that it was 3pm. If I lived close by I would stop by more often. I hope the next time I visit, the pick up is more seamless. One minor note, they are stingy with their napkins so if you are a messy eater like me, bring your own. We asked for extras and they gave us like three. They are cheap quality napkins so we were rationing them. Lol

Yelp
This place is great!! I'm so glad to find a JOLLIBEE near me. I heard this place is fairly new to the area but it is amazing. Super standard Asian fast food joint. I love Filipino food and I love their fast food even more. This place is really clean! The staff is very nice and the food came out super quick. They don't serve palabok right now (not sure if it'll be back in the future) so just know if you go. The chicken is super crispy and the spicy version had a decent amount of spice, so if you can't handle spice I would avoid it. The spaghetti is so good and has a nice sweetness to the sauce. The peach mango pie is a staple at JOLLIBEE. It was a must get and is nice and crispy since it's fried! The beef steak is pretty standard. Rice is extra (which kinda sucks) but I liked the mushrooms and gravy sauce. Not sure what the hate is about this location! It's great asian fast food. Didn't have any issues when I went.

Yelp
I love Jollibee and come often but todays experience took me back a bit. As I was ordering my food at the end of my transaction the cashier says "we don't have spicy chicken we can only do original ok no spicy" I was confused as I didn't order spicy. I actually hate spicy food. Additionally I noticed she did not make this same statement to anyone else in line. It felt as if she assumed I wanted spicy because of my ethnicity as I was the only non- asian patron at the time. It was odd and I didn't understand where this comment or assumption came from. Please just stick to what the guest order. The extra commentary isn't at all necessary. The young lady handing out food was super nice and helpful as was everything but I was just a bit confused by my interaction with the cashier. Food was hot, restaurant clean, and music at an enjoyable volume

Yelp
Finally made my way over to Jollibee. I waited for the "new" crowd to die down and go when I figure it would be less crowded. I prepared myself the day looking at the menu like always. As suspected when I got there, there was a small line and not the lines hanging outside from previous pictures. The line moved rather quickly with a little wait for your order to be called. I ordered the 2 piece with a side (adobe rice), with a peach mango pie and pineapple quencher. Chicken is very crunchy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside. The gravy stick on to the chicken with no drip and adds more flavor. Adobe rice was pretty good. Reminds me of dirty rice from another establishment named after a cartoon character. Lol. The peach mango pie was crispy as well and full of filling. Only down side to me was the pineapple quencher. Just tasted like regular pineapple juice with sugar. Overall good experience but I will back to try other items.

Yelp
Chicken is super juicy and flavorful! The mash potato was very buttery and the pineapppe juice was so light and not overwhelmingly sweet or strong. Tasted like you were eating an actual pineapple. However, the cashier put in the wrong order and I had to go back and order another side of spaghetti which is more expensive than the combo I initially was trying to order. This location also has signficantly less menu options than the ones in California that I'm used to. Service could definitely be better but otherwise it'a a great place for take out to satisfy your Jollibee cravings.

Yelp
7 29.2021 I knew several days ago I would visit today. Somehow this place caught my eye while I was going to lunch to the local market so I said I'll come back to visit. Ordering went pretty swiftly. They mainly sell chicken and burgers. My chicken was a little old and I got an order of fries, the fries was just as old as the chicken. They probably were cooked the same day last week. Nevertheless if I was in the mood for A/1/ Uno piece of chicken and was unable to obtain elsewhere... I'd buy one FRESH piece of chicken, but I would never dedicate another lunch break to this place. Let me add a few more positives to this place because although I will not return back it wasn't the worse place. They do have a spacious parking lot that they share with other businesses in the area. They also have an open dining room so you can dine in or take out if you choose. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable about the menu as far as options with without drink, etc.. Ok, that's it.

Yelp
Jollibee is Filipino comfort fast food and if you know what you're getting into, you will be satisfied! I'm happy this location opened up as I used to live close by. Since it's relatively new, expect a longer wait than normal. I feel like they aren't done with the store interior yet and there is room for a lot of improvement. I think there is supposed to be a big TV screen to show when your order is ready. This would streamline the ordering process and decrease patient angst since people would know the status of their orders. Enjoy your Chicken Joy!

Yelp
I think maybe I just don't quite get it. I was super excited to finally try Jollibee, which is fairly new to Wheaton. The hype was, and is, overwhelming. So I hopped in the line and hoped it moved quickly (it didn't). I grabbed two pieces of Chickenjoy and a palabok fiesta (rice noodles with shrimp, meat, egg, and gravy) with a mango peach pie and a pineapple. So dudes, it was almost $20, which is kinda high for fast food. Ok, so the chicken was tasty - crunchy, crispy, and nicely flavored. The palabok was...interesting. I'm glad I tried it, and probably won't again. :) the gravy was ok - a little peppery for my taste. Everyone kept raving about the mango peach pie. It was sweet and gloopy and crunchy, probably because it was deliciously deep fried. Kinda of too gloopy in texture for me, but I see why it's a favorite. I'm glad I tried Jollibee! It might not be the place for me, but I'm thrilled to see its loyal following.

Yelp
When this place first opened, I didn't want to wait in the lines so now that it's been a little bit of time, I was so excited to be able to finally try. I only got the bucket of 6 piece original fried chicken and a couple of peach mango pies. Oh boy, I was so impressed with the crispiness of both the chicken and pies! I admit that I started eating dessert first. The pie was very sweet but so good! I liked all the dark meat that we got. The chicken was so juicy on the inside and the battered skin was perfection. I was expecting something different from the gravy but it tasted like ordinary beef gravy to me. I didn't think my chicken needed it but I did pour a little to give it a try. Overall: Loved, loved, loved. I will need to come back for the other items.

Yelp
I decided to try jollibee after seeing a couple reviews on TikTok and I'm actually glad i did! I dined in on a Sunday afternoon and the place wasn't too packed. They were a good amount of seats available to dine in and plenty of parking right outside of the restaurant. I ordered the 3 piece chicken joy with 2 sides of fries and adobo rice and Ofcourse the famous pineapple juice. My friend ordered the 2 piece chicken joy with a side of spaghetti. The chicken was crispy and very delicious. The fries were pretty average and the adobo rice was a bit off, like it had a lot of flavor but lacked a certain flavor. The pineapple juice was absolutely to die for... i actually went back later that Sunday night to order another pineapple juice. My friend really enjoyed his spaghetti, it tasted a little bit too sweet. He enjoyed the chicken and ofcourse the pineapple drink. Customer service was great, not much of a wait for food. I think there was a 10 min wait on chicken, which wasn't bad. I will definitely return for the fried chicken and that delicious pineapple juice!

Yelp
This was our first visit because we were waiting for the crowds to die down since opening in April 2021. We came on Sunday, 9/19/21 at 6:30 pm to order in person. There were 10 people ahead in line with one cashier. It took 20-25 minutes when we reached the cashier and paid within 5 minutes since we knew what we wanted. There should be another cashier available to move the line faster. Our carryout order took 20 minutes which was mixed with online orders. There should be 2 separate lines at the counter to avoid confusion for pickup. We spent a total of $40, one of the most expensive dinners for fast food for 3 people. It consisted of a $30 family meal with 6 pieces of original fried chicken, large spaghetti, and 3 peach mango pies. To supplement, we also ordered a small side of adobo rice for $2.49 and Palabok Fiesta rice noodles for $6.49. The food tasted good especially the original fried chicken which was large in size, crispy, and juicy. Definitely better than Popeyes or KFC. We were disappointed with the much acclaimed peach mango pies, which tasted mostly of peach and were soggy. Overall, the food is good to try occasionally for those budget or health conscious. There should be improvements made by management for quicker service. Plan to set aside an hour or more for in-person orders.

Yelp
Finally made it to th new MD location! When I arrived there was a line of people waiting to order but it wasn't too bad. I just ordered the two piece chicken meal to try which comes with a side (got adobo rice ofcourse!). Came home and yum the chicken is just as delicious as the other chain locations. Gravy is always a must especially adding it to the rice 10/10 would come back and get a bucket next time!

Yelp
Theres nothing like Jollibee chicken and burger steak! The peach mango pie and pineapple refresher the best sides you can get. Don't forget to dip your chicken in the gravy!
