We booked Jondal for 1:00 pm, but the day before they messaged me to confirm and told me to arrive by 12:00 pm or our beds would be released. Fine. We got there at 12;30 — the place was nearly empty, with maybe 3–4 beds occupied at most.
A guy named Daniel, who handles bed allocations, gave us the last row beds. I pointed out that there were plenty of empty beds in the front row, but he said, “No, people are going to come. If there’s availability, I’ll move you.” Fair enough — or so I thought.
Hours passed. Around 4 pm, I went up to him a couple of times saying I could still see empty front-row beds. He kept repeating, “People are still coming.” And sure enough, we saw people arrive at 4 pm and get those prime beds — clearly people he knew. So why were we told to come by 12 pm if those spots are reserved for late-arriving regulars?
Honestly, I don’t get the hype. No music, food was just okay. The only saving grace was two servers — Alejandro and another gentleman whose name I can’t remember — who were genuinely friendly and helpful. Without them, we probably would have left earlier.
For the price and the treatment we received, there are far better places to spend the day in Ibiza. I wouldn’t recommend it.
