Jongro Chicken

Small cute place. It gives out a city streets of a distant city vibes. We made contact with our waitress and we made our orders. I ordered some chicken wings and they were some large size chicken wings. My wife ordered some tteobokki and it was good. It was an overall good experience.

Great fresh chicken. For those of you that don't know, Korean fried chicken is double fried which makes the skin that much crispier. So if you enjoy crispy chicken this is definitely a spot to hit. I added some pictures below. The cheese balls and truffle fries were great as well.I give this place five stars. If you peek inside the kitchen you can see the employees back there cutting up fresh chicken. But try it for yourself and let me know what you think!!!

I ordered a half and half original and spicy chicken. Taste wise i give a 3 out of 5 because it could have been more flavorful and better seasoned. The chicken taste plain and so so. However it has great value for 28$ because you have a whole box and the chicken was not bad just lack of seasoning and flavor hence i give it 4 out of 5. Service speed could be better though, i ordered online 15 minutes prior before i arrive at the place to pick up and yet i had to wait for 15 more extra minutes and it wasn't that busy at all at 10.20pm Will i come back , no but it's overall not bad. I still prefer BBQ korean chicken though.

I went here with my extended family for dinner. It was an amazing experience, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. In addition to that, the service was amazing and the food was outstanding. From now on any visits to Las Vegas, I will be stopping here for some amazing Korean Fried Chicken. By the way, their yogurt sauce is like nothing I've ever had before, you have to try it while you are there! One more thing, the cheese balls were off the charts, TRY THEM TOO!

Chicken here is so good and I wish we had a location here on the East coast. My cousins and I ordered the truffle mayo, soy and snow cheddar chicken with a side of chili fries. The wings are large and each one seasoned with the perfect amount of flavor. We agreed the truffle mayo was our favorite. A rich creamy mayo was what we tasted with this particular one. The wings had fall off the bone meat and were piping hot when they came out. The restaurant gives you these small clear plastic covers that protect your thumb and index finger from getting dirty. We really enjoyed our experience here. Large portions at reasonable prices and the flavors were so delicious. We even ordered more to go to share with the family. Do expect a little wait as they prep your wings. Perfect time to enjoy some sides and their soju. Great variety of wing and clean location.

Waited 28 minutes didn’t get my order right… the customers after me got their order first. The guy waive hair is not focus and kinda rushes every thing. My order was burnt the cheese balls and cheese melted.. this place used to have good food but not anymore…

This place is in the running for the best fried chicken I've ever had. Very tender and juicy with a very crispy yet light coating. Your choice of dipping sauces. The potato wedges were on point as well.

Nothing special about this place at all. I don't understand the high rating, but to each their own. The chicken pieces are big, crispy, and juicy, but not really flavorful. Sauces aren't anything special. The fries are nothing special. The serving sizes are for sharing so not the best spot for a solo diner. Prices are pretty spendy.

The food is very nice. The truffle fries are very crispy and soft. The tteokbokki is so creamy and soft. The service is really nice to you. Overall this a a place worth visiting

Probably passed by this place so many times, but didn't even "see" it. As usual- found this place by good 'ol yelp. I'm glad we tried it cause it was delicious. The bread is so good! So soft. Was a little confused though with the sauce. I'm glad it was on the side, but the pictures all showed it coated in the sauce. I wasn't asked if I wanted the sauce on the chicken or on the side. I had the tare soy sauce. So good! Service was great! Nice people. Ambiance is clean. I'd definitely return.

Honestly food was great and portion was large and looked awesome. Service was mediocre at best. Walked in and the server said sit where we wanted to. And we literally had to pull two table together for ourselves so we could sit 5 people comfortably. The tables are all meant for 4 people. So after we pulled the table together on our own, the server comes up to take our order. Food comes out pretty fast as we are the only one there The noise level is way too loud in that restaurant and had a hard time hearing each other because of the music and the falling kitchen items crashing on the floor. As I said the food was good and worth it but just be forewarned that the will tack on a service charge as well when you've put the tables together and had to ask for more water. I guess they just put it on whenever they like as it definitely not advertised on their website/online menu/table. I guess the best way to go is just take things to go so you don't have to get charged a service fee of $28+

We were out and about and my friend wanted to try the Korean chicken place I raved about. Unfortunately it was closed this weekend for maintenance. Looked on Yelp to see what else was in the area and saw this spot. I had seen in lots of times on Instagram and decided why not ? The business is located in Golden Spring Plaza strip mall with other Asian cuisine When you walk in it's nice and bright with black and white decor. The only thing is there was a slight sewage smell is the only way I can deceive it that is off putting. We seated ourselves and our order was taken by h to r water who was very friendly and knew the menu well We ordered , wings, half a chicken, hot chicken sandwich, regular fries and truffle fries. The chicken sandwich wasn't great whatever sauce or something on it wasn't good at all. The wings and whole chicken were ok not much flavor to me. Fries ok and truffle fries did not have any truffle oil, tasted like regular potato wedges. I wouldn't go out of my way to have again. I've had better

The original bone-in wings batter has changed. It's no longer flaky and ultra crispy. Now they use the same batter as the original whole fried chicken and it is just pure oiliness. It tasted fine, but it no longer has that super crispy kfc texture. The rice cakes they use in their tteokboki are also not great quality. I don't think I'll give it another shot after this last time.

Mood: Wings Talk about delicious and fresh! These wings are so flavorful and tasty. This is such a cute spot to grab a beer and eat some fresh hot chicken wings or even a whole chicken. Food: Potato wedges 10/10 you get a lot of crispy wedges. So good. Truffle Mayo fried chicken 8/10: nice crispy wings. The sauce was good but feel like it can e be great. Truffle is a little overwhelming for my taste buds but still very very good. Korean seasoned sweet chili 10/10: so much good flavor. Can't go wrong with sweet chili. Really enjoyed this kind overall. They have many flavors to chose from and next time will try them all. Service was nice and very attentive. Restaurant is clean and good seating arrangements. They are booming with take out orders and still takes care on the inside.

DINE-IN We ordered the half and half whole chicken (flavor: traditional and the snow cheddar). HOT AND FRESH just how I like it. Traditional was more our favorite with their dipping sauce they provided with the meal (thousand island, garlic butter, sweet mayo). The potato wedges were on POINT, super hot and crispy!! The food was delightful. I would definitely come back again. Ambiance was chill, kpop music in the backyard. Chandelier felt like grandma's old haunted house. The service was kinda lacking, but it was a 1 man show running the tables, taking orders and ringing up the tabs so all is forgiven.

Some good Korean fried chicken. Usually get the wings, but got the whole fried chicken. Lots of sauces and if you do a check in, can get a free drink

We usually get takeout but we've had the chance to dine-in a couple of times. Our favorite traditional wing flavors are tare soy and snow cheddar (comes with a dipping sauce). However, the truffle mayo and Korean sweet chili flavors are also good. Recently we tried the rose tteokbokki and it was so delicious, so flavorful and creamy. Would definitely order it again!

I didn't get a chance to get a picture of our chicken but this is definitely my go-to Korean fried chicken spot. The service is always amazing and the servers are always very attending with our orders. I recommend the garlic soy chicken, rose tteokbokki, and the cheese balls. They are a must try!

Solid fried chicken. I prefer the non-spicy & traditional flavors. Fries are on point. Other dishes are interesting and worth a try.

I've been craving Korean Fried Chicken (whole) and many people recommended this place to me. Decided to give it a try. My friend and I went on a Wednesday after work and the place was pretty quiet, a couple other tables and maybe a couple workers. I ordered a beer on tap, it came out refreshingly cold and perfect for that after work thirst LOL We ordered the truffle fries and the traditional whole fried chicken: it was exactly what I was craving/ looking for. Although we had a slight confusion about the garlic butter sauce... it's more... GARLIC butter .... like GARLICCC HAHAHA were we supposed to get it melted? unsure, I mean it was amazing..whole doesn't like GARLIC and BUTTER but just a bit confused. We ordered the Korean Seasoned Sweet Chili sauce on the side to have an option to dip it and YUMMM The whole chicken actually comes with wedges so we were a little disappointed the server didn't let us know but... we DID order the truffle so it's our fault, we should have asked HAHHA OH! The potato wedges are extremely crispy! It amazed us every time we took a bite! Never had wedges that were so crispy-- I took the rest home so I can air fry them later haha I do want to come back to try the wings next time, this time a round I was really craving just the traditional Korean style fried chicken and it was more than enough to feed 2 people!

I love Jong-Ro Chicken! Something about Korean fried chicken hits different. The sauces and the "crust" of the chicken is so delicious and packed with flavor. I go to a lot of different Korean fried chicken places but Jong-Ro Chicken has a variety of unique flavors that I never seen. The service is good here. It does take a while for them to cook the chicken in back but that just means they make it fresh! The vibe of the place is really nice too. The place isn't too big or too small. It's such a nice experience here. They give you finger gloves so your hands don't get dirty while eating the chicken. You also get radish and peanuts on the side depending on which flavor you get. They also have other options besides fried chicken such as tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) and chicken fingers and fries. Me and my friends got the truffle mayo fried chicken, tare soy fried chicken, Korean seasoned sweet chili fried chicken, and the bulddak spicy chicken. I would definitely recommend all of them but my favorite is the Korean seasoned sweet chili fried chicken (10/10)!

I was craving Korean wings with rice so found this place on Yelp, ordered online and swung by on a Saturday night. I'm not from around here so didn't know the parking situation in this plaza sucks otherwise I would have ordered elsewhere. Even though it's a decent size lot, it is shared among a lot of other businesses. Plus it was a weekend. Anyways I had my kids with me so I just made up a parking spot in between a car and dumpster since I was just planning to run in and get my takeout. No biggie. I ordered the 8 piece tare soy chicken wings and cheese balls online. It said it would take 30 minutes, fine. I came in after 20 min since sometimes places finish early. We were greeted when we came in, server asked for my name for the order and said it wasn't ready yet. But he would let me know. We sat there for an extra 25 min only to find out our order was sitting at the counter the whole time. Fail. I know this bc when the server realized we were still sitting there and grabbed our bag off the counter to bring to us, my son said, I saw that bag sitting on the counter for the last 20 minutes. Ugh. Granted I should have checked but the server did say he would bring it when it was ready. The place wasn't super busy and there 3 servers standing at the counter. So maybe it's not fair to give 3 stars bc I was annoyed with being neglected even though the wings and cheese balls were yummy. Lols But I was pretty annoyed. Anyways, the food was good. Wings were big and tasty. Balls were cheesy. I guess if you order takeout, please learn from my mistake and take initiative if the service is lagging.

Been wanting to try this place for a while now. Finally made it tonight. We ordered the fried chicken half original and half truffle Mayo. We also ordered some potato wedges and cheese balls. The fried chicken was nice and crispy and so tender and nice inside. The original has an excellent flavor and was outstanding. The truffle Mayo was also delicious and we could not decide which one we liked better, both were so good. The potato wedges we super crispy outside and creamy inside, very good! We had mixed taste on the the cheese balls I liked them but 2 of 4 at the table did not, that's ok more for me! This place is a must try! I can't wait to go back and try another flavor but I will always order some original.

We shared the whole fried chicken. Worth it for$26. I love how it was lightly battered and well seasoned. The dipping sauces were good too. I preferred the garlic dip. The guy working that day was constantly coughing and not covering his mouth. So uncool n unsanitary. Wear a mask please. Contemplating if I would ever come back again.

Got the Traditional whole chicken and it was soo big! Crispy and flavorful! I love that it comes with thick fries! (Get the stamp card so you can get a free entree after ten visits!)

Reallly excellent friend chicken!!! We tried the regular and soy garlic. Both were so delicious, flavorful, crunchy, and moist. Their chicken tenders are better than Canes- seasoned properly. Love the fries as well. If you want your fingers dirty or sticky, they provide for finger gloves. Service is good. Clean restaurant and bathroom. Parking can be an issue. Mobile ordering is avail as well as delivery services.

Jong-Ro is still the only Korean Fried Chicken restaurant in Vegas that offers the best tasting Traditional Whole Fried Chicken! And besides their original bang-for-the-buck menu, they have since added new items like the chicken Alfredo, oven-baked meat pasta, spicy Korean ramyeon, rosé chicken and many more! Anytime we need a Korean fried chicken fix (like today) or that perfect beer or soju companion, Jong-Ro is our go-to spot for that deep fried goodness. Side dishes and appetizers (like that Rose Ttekbokki and Hand-made Cheeseballs!) are quite delicious too and help keep that hunger at bay while your KFC is being freshly prepared. PS. Parts of our traditional whole fried chicken (leg and thigh) was a tad pinkish which had us concerned. Our server assured us it was fine though but we're still weary.

Amazing chicken that's is packed full of flavor and comes with crispy skin, and juicy, tender meat. The sides and sauces are an added bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The ambiance was inviting and peaceful.

Jong-Ro's fried chicken hits the spot. Crispy, juicy, and flavorful chicken that hits home runs for fried chicken criteria. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere does seem a little cold though, a place that makes you want to sit at the edge of the room.

I tried out Jong-Ro Chicken recently, and it was okay. Compared to some other spots in Chinatown, it didn't quite stand out for me. The fried chicken was a bit on the salty side, which was a bit disappointing. Service-wise, it was a bit slow since there was only one server handling everything. On the bright side, it's budget-friendly; I got a whole chicken for just $25. The ambiance was casual, so it's a laid-back spot if you're looking for something relaxed. So, if you're looking for an affordable option with a casual vibe, it might be worth a visit, but manage your expectations on the taste and speed of service.

I typically don't like to do a review unless I have gone at least 2 times. I look for consistency. The hubby and I have gone twice. Each time service was good but the food was AMAZING! Personally this is the best Korean fried chicken place I been to this far. They definitely prepare everything fresh so allow time for the food to cook. It's so worth it! The chicken skin has a perfect crunch every time! My favorite chicken flavor is soy and truffle Mayo. We ordered the Korean Seasoned Sweet Chili too but not a fan. It's just Eggroll sauce. We got the truffle fries and it's a must try! So good! As far as the ambiance, it's basic! But definitely go for the food!

Affordable delicious Korean fried chicken in casual dine in or togo setting. I have been here twice for both dine in and pick up. It is one of the best Korean fried chicken I've had in town so far. There's about 10-15 tables inside. It's not very busy if you come before 6pm. They have mostly pick up orders. I've only got the whole fried chicken. It comes with 16 pieces and a side of daikons for $25! Such a great deal. I've tried three flavors: bulddak, snow cheddar and Korean sweet chili. Snow cheddar with yogurt sauce is my favorite. Definitely try the homemade cheese balls! They are so addicting! This is will be my go to KFC place in town for now. I'm already drooling thinking about the snow cheddar! Tips: check in on Yelp for a free can of soda.

I'm actually not a fan of the snow cheddar chicken, and their sauces are weirdly sweet. I think their bowls are the best value and taste great. I usually love KoreanFC. I'm not into this place. We got a fried chicken, a bowl, and some cheese balls. Total was almost $60 with tip. The meal def needed some more rice (rice in the bow was def a one person serving) or some veggies. Seems like they only have the pickled radish, and those were kind of off tasting too. Like more bitter than usual. I usually love pickled radish!

The food here is ahhhmaaazinggg!!! Love these chickens!! So delicious! We ordered the Tare Soy and the truffle mayo Fried Chicken and ofc a bowl of white rice on the side. If you check in on Yelp, you get a free soda. The waitress was friendly and efficient. She brought out our water, cups, and little plates right away as we were seated. We had a good time eating these delicious chickens. They are made to perfections. So crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I love the tare soy with white rice. The truffle mayo is heavier and sweeter. We had to try it since we don't come across truffle mayo chickens that often. The place is spacious, with plenty of tables and can accommodate larger party sizes. There are plenty of parking spaces just outside the restaurant too.

The chicken is so crispy and light. It's also fried fresh to your order, so you might wait around 10-15 mins and it's so worth it for that hot crispy chicken. Cheese ball 5/5 - similar to Korean corn dog! A cheese donut Snow cheddar 5/5 - finally!!! I've always seen this flavor in Korean vlogs and am so happy it's here Buldak 4/5 - heavy and SPICY Chicken moo 3/5 - a lil stale Interested trying truffle mayo and soy next time.

This place never disappoints but today I was disappointed more so at management. Came in at 2:30pm 1/28 Saturday and it was already packed. They had ONE person working with bussing and serving. How crazy is that? Poor guy! He was literally running around trying his best to help everyone. And there's people ordering to-go and waiting to be seated. He was so patient and kept his composure. This man deserves a raise and help! He should not be left alone working by himself. I understand the Napal Baji workers came and popped in to assist real quick but this guy was literally fending for himself. It also didn't help that their POS system seemed to malfunction in the middle of this chaos and he was on the phone trying to get assistance to resolve. Where was management??? Nobody helped the poor guy!! This place is great for the many times I've been here but today just disappointed me a bit. Anyway, the food ordered was still amazing and I will continue to come back because I LOVE this spot. Nobody will beat the chicken Jongro makes and that's the truth! Please help staff not be short staffed because the visitors today for sure saw the only worker struggling and thankfully they seemed all nice and knew he was by himself but everything else was wonderful with the food, taste, timeframe, etc. Amazing place, I always recommend this.

This place does not disappoint. Best Korean fried chicken bar none. Their wings are my favorite comfort food w/crispy crunchy coating & moist tender & tasty meat. Again not at all scrawny like the other wing restaurants. Each order is made at time it's placed so be prepared to wait a few minutes). But it's worth it

I've been missing legit KTown-style Korean fried chicken ever since I moved to Vegas from LA. I know there are other places in town, but they seem just "aight." Jong-Ro might be the best Korean Fried Chicken I've tried in Vegas (If you know of something better, PLEASE introduce me), and that includes fast food spots like BBq.Chicken and sit-down spots like Best Friend in Park MGM (yup, I said it). I gotta respect a place that just serves one main type of food, and does it well. Some of my friends were visiting from LA, so we decided to peep out Jong-Ro after seeing it on Instagram. We tried the full fried chicken dish and shared it amongst the 3 of us. We ordered Truffle Mayo flavor (kinda tastes like a truffly version of glazed honey mayo shrimp) and the Korean Seasoned Sweet Chili flavor, which isn't spicy. You gotta try it. It tastes more like what you'd probably expect from Korean Fried Chicken, with gochujang tones and a really crisp crunch. Oh, we also tried the Rose Tteokbokki. I don't even like Tteokbokki normally, but the flavor of this specific dish was BOMB. It was creamy and slightly spicy... if you're familiar with KTown in LA, the sauce kinda tastes like the OG Kimchi Pasta from Cafe Nandarang, which I really LOVE. I can't wait to go back to Jong-Ro to try more flavors of chicken and other side dishes!

Do I dare say, better than Canes? Yes. Value for amount of food is beyond reasonable. Great place to eat with friends, go on a date, or grab a quick bite by yourself. I really appreciate the fast-casual setting and quick service. Not a long wait time to be seated, responsive wait staff, and delicious options for Korean food.

My first time going here and their fried chicken is SO GOOD! We got the Tare Soy & Bulddak flavors and Tare Soy had a nice sweetness to it and the Bulddak flavor was really spicy! You also get a free can of soda if you check in with yelp. Service was friendly and there's a good amount of tables inside to dine-in.

Honestly didn't seem like anything special to me. Chicken itself was dry and a little lacking in flavor. The sauces were decent, but nothing stuck out. One good thing is that portions aren't too pricey. If you're on the fence, I would say try something else.

Would've been an easy 5-star place for me: affordable prices, delicious chicken (no doubt), convenient location. However, we've been coming here ever since it opened but it seems like it went a little downhill. As you can see in the pictures (taken different times), the tenders are our all-time favorite. It ALWAYS came with the house sauce + our choice of "flavor" (which was always the korean chili.) When we first ordered that, we were imagining tenders COVERED in the korean chili sauce and then you dip it in the house sauce (yum). However, it came on the side instead. And the answer we got from our server back then is that some people just prefer it better on the side so they just put both sauces on the side. But today, we got charged for the house sauce. I'm not crying over an additional $1.50 charge. I admit, we haven't visited in a few months so maybe things have changed and tenders don't come with the sauce anymore? If so, that is a little tacky. Again, I'm not mad about the charge. I'm more disappointed how my fiance had to get up from our table with our food already in front, find our server (who went awol soon as she dropped our food), and ask for the house sauce because he noticed it's missing. Anyway, one of the things I like about this place is that they're a good late-night snack/dinner option. That advantage quickly faded when we came in 10 minutes before 9pm and the first thing the server yelled at us was that their last call is at 9pm. Almost as if she didn't want us dining in. We thought they changed hours so we asked what time they close and she said 10pm. Seriously? Thanks for the warm welcome. :/ so for those of you up for a late-night snack, forget it. Don't even dare unless you also wanna get yelled at. Just air fry your own chicken at home and thank me later. She told us to sit anywhere but all the tables were dirty. We just picked the least dirty one and good thing I always carry my own sanitizing wipes for places this who don't even clean their tables (!!!). I understand it was quite busy and almost closing time but hey, we still deserve a decent treatment, don't you think? So there you go. Moody server, dirty table, inconsistent menu/missing sauce all in one day ruined all the great memories we had of Jong-ro. It used to be a 5-star place for me until it's not anymore. Too bad their food have so much potential, but their customer service is pulling them down.

Best. Fried. Chicken. Ever! I got their truffle Mayo wings and truffle fries and they were SO GOOD! The servings are huge and they aren't expensive at all (lots of leftovers for later!). The ambiance and service were great - the gal in the front was super friendly and attentive! It was an overall great experience. We went in at 11:30 am but this fried chicken with a beer or soju would've been bomb! MUST TRY!!!

The chicken is delicious. Thin crispy skin. Delicious sauce. We got the whole chicken which is cut into 16 pieces. We got the sweet chili sauce on half and Buldak sauce on the other half. Sauce was a layered a little heavy but still crispy. We got rosé Tekbokki. It was tasty. A little more cream would've been nice. I would like to have them offer more sides. I asked for a bowl of white rice and it was good quality rice to cut the heat.

This is my favorite Korean fried chicken spot! I like the popular one in Shanghai Plaza but I prefer Jong-Ro. I feel like it's better quality. It doesn't taste like fast food, where it can be too greasy and leaves me bloating. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors either. Also, their rosé tteokbokki is my fav! So creamy and delicious. It's often only 1-2 people working so it can be a bit busy with their take out orders. But the servers never left me feeling like I had to wait for them. It has a casual ambiance and they share the same kitchen as Napalbaji next door.

First time to try this place. The Snow cheddar wings is recommended with the yogurt sauce. The wings is a big portion. I ordered too much for 3 persons. Definitely will try the other food. The wedges is really good big portion good for 3 people. The food is good. The service is not too good. Our server (woman) wasn't paying attention. The wait is a bit long it takes 15- 20 mins. Make sure to check in with Yelp to get a free drink.

The food was soooo crispy and flavorful and the place was completely empty on a friday evening! The portions are HUGE especially for the price. Also tried the beer which was pretty good coming from someone who isn't a huge fan of beer

This place is one of my favorites for when i'm craving Korean wings! Nice and clean tables and very friendly service. They even provide cute finger gloves to use when eating! For starters we ordered the 3 pc Handmade Cheese Balls and Rose Tteokbokki. The cheese balls were a sweet treat covered in sugar and paired with a yogurt type sauce. We loved this. The rose rice cakes were perfectly chewy, cheesy and creamy! perfect flavor. The flavors we decided on for wings were Sweet Chili, which had the perfect balance, and Truffle Mayo. Not an overbearing amount of truffle flavor so we enjoyed those. Chicken was juicy and crispy, we can't wait to go back for their other flavors!

We took the boys here for Vegas Christmas vacation, oh man.. the original whole fried chicken was the best fried chicken I ever had. Cooked fresh, light batter and perfectly seasoned. It came with fries which was equally delicious. We also ordered tare soy wings, not sure how they seasoned them but they were the best KFC. Wings ever.. A must place to go when you're visiting Vegas and u have a craving for fried chicken

We ordered the 1/2 & 1/2 chicken (original and sweet chili) and the truffle fries. The chicken was definitely flavorful, but was dry. Usually KFC is juicy, but this chicken was crumbly and hard to chew. The batter is thick and crunchy! The sweet chili sauce was delicious. We did a DoorDash order for pickup around 9:30pm on a Thursday night and they were closing already. They did allow for the customers who walked in before us to order to go. The actual restaurant was beautifully decorated. I give it 4 stars since the service was a bit slow for pickup and the dry chicken, but I would recommend the truffle fries for sure!
