Hi there, former Jonny's employee here. I worked there for a while and I can say that this restaurant is the worst.
Firstly, the owner Jonny is never at this location. And if he is, he tells his employees to tell customers he isn't there because he "Doesn't have time to deal with them, I'm busy". Yet, when going into his office, he is busy smoking cigs and watching Dr. Pimple Popper on YouTube.
He also had degraded his staff several times while in a Friday rush at night. Often telling employees "What's the matter with you? Ya slow or somethin?" or something to that degree.
When an employee quit his job, I was working with a younger gentleman when the owner came into the lobby and told this man (he was 16 at the time) to come into his office. Where then he told the boy to text the former employee that "If he ever sees his face, he will beat the shit out of him" and that he was "a spineless bitch who couldn't fight like a real man". Remember he forced a 16 old boy to text this.
Next, the only things made fresh are the pizza's, salads, wings, calzones, and strombolis. The rolls are made in advance and are stored in the fridge or in a bin under the table where the pizza slices are. All the cheese sticks, calamari, beef meatballs, and tortellini are frozen. Even with the salads, I personally observed a staff member slicing a moldy tomato and giving it to the customer on the salad they ordered.
The desserts are also bought, sliced, and packaged. They are NOT made in house.
I was also instructed to serve alcohol to customers even though we legally couldn't. He said "We can't sell it, but there's nothing about giving it away for free. So if a customer asks, just give it to them." Didn't tell me to check their ID or anything.
He was also woefully unprepared to handle a POS system as he was the only one who had access to the register unless a sale was made in cash. Mind you, we had no manager at this location, so if someone wanted a refund for their order and they paid in cash, we were told to tell the customers to come back later when the owner arrives. Only on my last day or two did we actually get a manager to set up the POS system properly, and the owner was STILL the only one able to get into the register (minus the manager who set it up of course but he was full-time at another location).
Spend your money elsewhere. Pizza is overpriced. Pasta is weak. Owner doesn't care about staying at his understaffed location. Belittles and degrades his employees.
