First time trying Joo Joo, had a fantastic experience. The food and service were all top notch. We tried the seafood scallion pancake, and the jjookumi bokum. Both dishes had well rounded flavors, and not too spicy. Well definitely come back to try more dishes!

Came here for date night! Really good food, which came out really quickly (which isn’t a bad thing ) just be prepared! The service is really awesome, always checking in to make sure we were good! Look forward to trying karaoke next time! You can tell this is really authentic Korean food.

The beef that's sliced that looks like bacon was amazing. We had about three sauces to choose from. As you can see on the photo. The food is excellent. We had the beef special. Just a great experience of having a good time with good friends.

Every time I’ve come here i’ve loved every dish i’ve had. My favorites are definitely the bulgogi dolsot, the tteok-boki and the fried shrimp. Everyone who works there is always so nice and the food always comes out faster than i expect it to

The food here was tasty. It’s a sparingly decorated place, but don’t let that stop you. The beef bulgogi was delicious, as were the sides that come with the food and everything else we ordered. I would definitely eat here again.

We ordered black pork BBQ and japchae. That was delicious! The pork with Rosemary smelled great and tasted good. I'm surprised that the pork didn't smell not fresh! I loved you can order small food plates comes with BBQ as much as you want. And one order of BBQ is enough to be full for 2 people. Japchae's noodle was chewy and had savory flavor that you can't make at home. Staff were all kind, even one worker cooked BBQ meat for us when we were eating. I guess she did so not to burn the meat. How nice! We will come back to this place for sure.

What happened to your portions? I understand inflation and rising cost, but over the last 2-3 years, the place has become unreasonably overpriced. I’ve been a customer for 7 years, but recently every time I go, I’m surprised by portion keeping reducing. I would recommend you to go to Seoul garden instead if you want descent Korean food - Taste is good, and very reasonably priced.

I am a big foodie, but surprisingly enough, haven't tried many Korean restaurants. Came here last weekend with friends and was pleasantly surprised! Ordered the seafood pancake and dolsot bibimbap. Both tasted very comforting and delicious. Both my friends ordered beef sundubu which tasted excellent. If I were in the mood for soup I would've have gotten that. The only thing I would mention is the meat options are limited to mostly beef and pork along with some seafood options. There is no chicken here. If you have food restrictions, please check the menu before coming here!

Pretty tasty Korean bbq place! Half of it is a karaoke bar where you can hear the beautiful singing as you eat your barbecue We got Kalbi and Bulgogi with a side of spicy beef tofu soup. The sides were plentiful and they kept coming. The service was ok since they were pretty busy.

Delicious Korean cuisine. The bulgogi bibimbop as amazing. Many times there's not a lot of flavor but this was packed with flavor even without adding sauce. Highly recommend. The beef bbq was good. Many tables had a grill so we took advantage of the opp to cook to order. It was tasty and mostly tender. They were here to help with the grilling. Good flavor. Gave us refills on lettuce so much appreciated. Great service. Plenty of parking in the strip mall.

Came back to Joojoos recently, and the spicy soon do boo and galbi tang soups were amazing. The flavors were amazing, and it had a very traditional Korean taste. Would definitely come back and would highly recommend.

The service was really nice and the restaurant was super clean. Everyone was so pleasant.. This was my third time visiting and it tasted better the other times. I would have to say that I've had better Korean food but it still wasn't bad. The seafood pancake missed the mark. It was flavorless and it was barely any seafood in it. For $18 I expected a whole lot more. My mom and I are both agreed that the portions were small and it seemed as though the meat was chopped in tiny little pieces to spread in the bowl to make it look like it was more food. Needless to say we will stick with our favorite place going forward.

I always enjoy coming to JooJoo Restaurant & Karaoke for good food, service, and sometimes karaoke! I came here with my family on a Sunday, and we were seated right away. The staff was friendly and took care of us throughout our dining experience. One of the staff members even thought they were taking too long to take our order and apologized. The place is clean, and the portions are good for the price. We ordered the seafood dolsot bibimbap, mackerel, short ribs, and spicy squid stir fry. All of the dishes were flavorful and just how I remembered them to be. They do a really good job with the consistency of the dishes, and I am always satisfied and full after dining here.

Here's the deal! There aren't many Korean restaurants in St. Louis and although JooJoo's has been here a while I think the current ownership and cook(s) are doing a great job. Flavors are traditional Korean and hit the spot if this is your comfort food. The BBQ always smells delicious but my go-to are the soups! Just an incredible tasty meal with the traditional Korean side dishes and rice. Also a big shout out to the current staff. Andy is awesome! Give this guy a raise!

Got two hotpot bowls and they were huge. Flavour was not bad though. Also got the soft tofu bowl which had a unique taste to it, it was slightly sweet (maybe from the gochujang?) but wasn't too bad. It was really busy and we wanted to do karaoke but they were all booked. Overall, food and service was okay. Might come back to try the Korean BBQ next time.

We love coming to Joo Joo for authentic Korean food! This time, I decided to try something new and ordered the Kimchi pancake, Bi Bim Bap, and Beef Sundubu, requesting no spice. The flavors were still rich and satisfying, even without the heat. My usual favorite is the rice cake soup, which has tender rice cakes and dumplings in a comforting beef broth--definitely a must-try! The food here always feels homemade and authentic, making it one of our go-to spots for Korean cuisine. Highly recommend!

I love JooJoo. I feel like I've been to JooJoo almost every weekend the last couple months. Nothing can compare to a good hot stone rice bowl or kimchi jjigae or galbi tang in the cold months. My all time favorite here is the kimchi samgyeopsal. Service is phenomenal. Jojo never fails me.

My fav Korean spot in STL! Everytime Im here I always see many Koreans and I know it's the place to be! Staffs are friendly. I usually just get bulgogi dol sot as I love lots of veggies and fried egg and come with hot stone! Be warned if you love meat you won't get a lot from dol sot and it's quite pricey. But still taste amazing and I clean the bowl every time! My mom was visiting and I took her there. It was her first time trying Korean food and she absolutely loved it. She even asked me to bring her to this place again! Lots of parking spots. Bathroom is clean. They have karaoke rooms. No reservation is needed and I was always seated right away.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here tonight. Food was great - albeit the hot pot was a little sweet. Service was great and the ambiance was strip mall Korean. Does it get better than this?

I asked a Korean gentleman where he recommended for good authentic Korean food in St Louis and this was the place he recommended. I've only been there for lunch but I would definitely go out of my way to go back. I've enjoyed every dish and I recommend ordering the extra sides. The service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere is casual and family friendly.

I stumbled upon this restaurant when in Maryland Heights, and I am so grateful that I did! JooJoo Restaurant & Karaoke offers traditional Korean BBQ and hot pot, along with private karaoke spaces. Their website describes their establishment as "unassuming", and I would definitely agree. From the outside, the restaurant blended into the strip mall in which it is located. Inside, however, the sleek, black interior sets the stage for an authentic Korean BBQ experience. The tables have built-in grills for personal cooking, and there is vibrant foliage that adds an air of tranquility in the space. Immediately upon sitting, we were greeted by our waitress, who gave us our silverware and a traditional Korean water jar. The service was wonderful from their on. The individuals who served us were very attentive, helpful, and personable. One member of the team was particularly chatty and enjoyed discussing his current endeavors. I did not mind this, but I imagine other patrons may wish to have more time for conversation with the individuals they came to the restaurant with. I came here to eat with my father, and we decided to split the Jjookumi & Pork Chulpan ($49.99), which is a dish of spicy octopus and pork belly. The meal included a generous portion of meat and also came with a variety of side dishes. These included rice, homemade kimchi, pickled cucumbers, bean sprouts, and potato salad. These side dishes and our tray of fresh pork belly and octopus came out within about 10 minutes. Following this, our waiter periodically checked in on us as we cooked our proteins. The spicy octopus had a umami taste with a hint of spice. These flavors were incorporated into the pork belly as we mixed them together. Moreover, the fat from the pork belly glazed the bottom of the pan, which provided a wonderful crisp to the pork belly and added flavor to the octopus. The side dishes perfectly balanced the salty, rich flavors of our proteins. My personal favorites were the kimchi and pickled cucumbers. Our waiter also offered to bring out fresh lettuce cups for us to build lettuce wraps. We took him up on this offer, and I'm happy that we did! The greens added an extra freshness to our culinary experience. The menu itself is extensive but I do wish their were more protein options for self-cooking. The options mainly included pork belly, which I love but I know that not everyone does. Chicken, beef, or vegetarian options like tofu would be a great addition to their options. The food and service at Joo Joo were unbeatable, and the space looked aesthetically pleasing. I would love to see this establishment move closer to the city, potentially in the University City area. I think this restaurant would thrive there! Considering all of this, go try this place! There are not many KBBQ places in the St. Louis area, and I think Joo Joo should be the one you try!

We went on a Friday night and there is a short 10 minutes wait. Once we were seated, things happened pretty fast. I went in there thinking Korean BBQ with the table grill and everything. We ordered Bulgogi Pan in the BBQ section of the menu but it really was more of a hot pot than a BBQ. Kimchi pancake was delicious. We also ordered a fruity Soju which was a lot easier to drink than typical Soju.

Quick Service! What? I got the seafood hotpot and also the teokbokki. The seafood hotpot was overall good - the crab wasn't fresh but the other items were okay. There was a decent amount of everything - crab, octopus, shrimp, oyster, tofu. I subbed out the udon for ramen. Despite the crab not as fresh, I still thoroughly enjoyed the soup and ramen. The teokbokki was a little on the hard side... maybe it cooled down too quickly.. didn't enjoy that as much. Not sure the amount of barchan varieties they gave but I only got 4 types - braised potatoes, kimchi, radish and steamed egg. They were all eh, not a fan. Environment This is located in a plaza means there is plenty of parking space available. The inside had quite a bit of seating available. The burners for the hotpot or BBQ are portable so they bring it to your table when you order those. Niceness of the staff They were quick to sit you, take your order and ready for you to head out. I like that they leave you alone I guess, but they are also readily available and quick. Dollar It was decent, for the 2 items it was near $70. The food was enough for 2-3 people to eat Yes? I would return yes.

This is probably the 6th time I've come here! I'm from Cali and have pretty high standards for Kbbq, and JooJoo totally makes the cut! For apps we always get the Tteok-Bokki with Ramen - it is soooo flavorful and perfectly saucy. I definitely recommend adding the ramen to it, I think it really makes the dish! Defs recommend. My favorite meat dishes are the Galbi Gu Yi (marinated kbbq short ribs) and the Cha Dol Ba Ki (tender beef brisket). The galbi is so flavorful, I always wish there was more! And the beef brisket is a perfect light meat that you can cook and season just how you like - perfect when you have a large party. I've gotten the Beef Bulgogi a few times, and I think it's solid, but I think there are more flavorful meat dish options. For soups- I always enjoy the Beef Sundubu (beef and soft tofu in spicy broth served with rice), but this time we also tried the Galbi Tang soup (simmered beef broth with beef rib and noodles), and it was SOOOO GOOD. It was such a simple yet flavorful dish, and is definitely one of my new favorite soups! Perfect for a cold day, and when you want something warm and cozy! The ambience is great, and the restaurant staff are so warm and welcoming. One time, my boyfriend and I were coming close to closing time, and we called them letting them know - they asked for our order and they had it ready for us when we walked in! Karaoke- so fun!!!! We did it for our friends birthday party and it was a great time! You get your own room, they have recent songs, fun lights and tambourines! Solid kbbq spot!

Love their food since high school. But portion has gone down and is lacking some flavor. Love their blood sausage I will order it every time! Their seafood soup is so delicious and the spicy taste makes you eat a lot of rice lol. Great service and location, parking is super easy. Will come back again!

JooJoo is such a great hidden gem! We were looking for authentic Korean food in the St. Louis area, and this spot did not disappoint. We had a wide variety of dishes, including Katsu, dumplings, and bibimbap. Everything was served with a number of small side dishes just like in Korea. The food was authentic, freshly prepared, and arrived quickly. I can't wait to go back and try the Korean barbecue. The restaurant is pretty no-frills, but the staff is friendly. We will definitely be back!

JooJoo was recommended to me by one of my bosses, and it did not disappoint! My husband and I came on a chilly-ish fall day, and we got the bul nak hotpot! It was plenty for the two of us, especially with the side dishes. We even had some to take home! We threw some ramen in the reheated hotpot, and it was a whole other filling and delicious meal!

Loved JooJoo under its previous owners, love it still under new ownership. The menu is very extensive and they offer a lot of the harder-to-find dishes in St. Louis. For example, this is the only place in STL I know of that serves mul naengmyeon and bibim naengmyeon. They also serve Korean hot pot (highly recommended) and jjajangmyeon. Everything I've ever gotten here has been high-quality and delicious. Haven't dealt with any language barriers recently, and the workers were all incredibly welcoming on my last visit.

This place is amazing the food deserves an award and the service is outstanding she forgot to bring me a little chili powder which wasn't really needed because the soup was great but when she did bring it she came back with ice cream popsicles for all eleven of us at our table.

Solid 3.5 stars for Joo Joo restaurant. Joo Joo is one of the few authentic Korean restaurants in town. Food is a bit overpriced. Service was so-so. It has a casual dining vibe. I have tried various soups, stews and pancakes here. The level of spiciness are just right. There are 5 side dishes served. The seafood tofu soup barely had any seafood. I spotted a number of miniscule mussels with a careful look. I think the beef tofu soup may have a little more ingredients. The Korean seafood pancake was one I'd recommend. It is crispy with a mixture of seafood. Personally, I prefer trying another Korean restaurant when I have kimchi cravings.

The best Korean restaurant in all of the St. Louis area hands down. Their menu is so extensive that it can be overwhelming. Several individual portioned dishes as well as some that are clearly meant to share (any of the hot pots, bar menu, or BBQ dishes). Literally you can order anything on this menu and it will be top notch. They also have a great drink menu featuring several imported drinks from Korea. The service here is always stellar. Sometimes they have quite a wait on Saturday for lunch and/or dinner, but it is well worth the wait and the show you experience with how quickly they turn around tables. It is like a well-oiled machine that is quite impressive to behold. They regularly have good music playing with occasional music videos or cartoons playing along with the music. There is also karaoke in the back which you can sometimes hear for better or worse...lol. If it's me, then definitely for the worse.

After getting recommendation from my friends I decided to go to Joo Joo for the first time. I came around 1pm on Sunday and was seated after about 10 minutes. The restaurant was packed. Pretty dark inside. I decided not to order BBQ and went with more traditional dishes. The food came out around 15 mins after order which was very impressive. The side dishes didn't impress me at all (including quantity and quality). There were 4 total side dishes and one of them barely has any. I've been to other Korean restaurants and the selections and quality of side dishes were better. For the meal, I ordered the Spicy Octopus and Kimchi Jjigae. The spicy octopus was deliciously season and cooked... however there was maybe 10 pieces total and it wasn't cheap ($22). The Kimchi Jjigae was on a smaller size compare to other places I've been and tasted just ok... there is surcharge if you want extra rice. Overall, I think Joo Joo is a decent Korean restaurant but the price point and quality of food just doesn't align in my opinion.

Plenty of parking in the parking lot on Sunday afternoon when me and my boyfriend went. This place has fast service. The server works as a team which is nice. We were seated immediately after we arrived. Food was good. We ordered the bibimbap, Kalbi and soft tofu soup. It was delicious. There are some side dishes (banchan) which were good. The environment and ambiance were pretty typical of a Korean. It kind of felt warm inside the restaurant on this particular day.

If you like Korean food this place is awesome! Their portions are big. Come with your people and share this deliciousness! We ordered beef and tofu hot pot, lots of food for 4 people. It has spicy cheesy sauce, veggies, noodles and it was really good. It comes with a little burner underneath. We got rice, kimchi, some spicy cucumber salad, miso soup as side dish. I recommend trying peach Soju, delicious and easy to drink, 13% alcohol. Non flavored Soju has more alcohol, 16%. Little hard to drink for me. Service was excellent. Totally worth the price. This place is all open, no booths. There is also karaoke room inside, by the restrooms. We will definitely come back!

This is now one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Saint Louis! They allow reservations for groups larger than 6 people so we reserved a table ahead of time for 11 people. Service was pretty good and we asked for more banchan (side dishes) a few times. I ordered seafood tofu soup (soondubu) which was authentic, piping hot and perfect for a cold winter night. I also tried my friend's grilled mackerel which was fresh and delectably crispy. Others ordered the potstickers, bibimbap, and other stone bowl soups since it was such a chilly night when we came. I enjoyed watching nearby tables grilling their own kalbi/meat. It's not all-you-can-eat barbecue, but still sizeable portions. They don't split bills for large groups so it took awhile for our very patient server to collect cash from each person. I want to come back and try one of their karaoke rooms. The pricing is per room and they charge an extra surcharge if you also want to have dinner inside the karaoke room. I peeked inside and they looked clean and easy to figure out how to use.

My husband and I visited Joo Joo Restaurant recently and we loved the food! We went on a Saturday night and had to wait a bit, but it was worth it! The wait staff were very busy but the food came out quickly after ordering. They have a pretty extensive menu, which includes Korean BBQ and hot pot, but we chose to get our own dishes and an appetizer to share this time. I got the bulgogi dol sot which had the bulgogi beef, veggies, and rice in a hot stone bowl. It comes with a bowl of broth on the side and I was quite sure what to do with it but I poured it into the stone bowl with everything else, mixed it all up, and it was fantastic. The stone bowl kept the food piping hot the whole meal. My husband got a pork dish that I can't remember the name of but I think it was #27 on the menu. It has pork and veggies cooked in a sauce and came with rice on the side. It was tasty! We shared the rice cake appetizer and I wish I could eat those every day! Flavor, texture, and spice level were perfect. This restaurant is situated in a strip mall in Creve Coeur and there is ample parking! There are a few other restaurants in the same strip but even when we visited on a Saturday night for dinner we had no issue finding a spot to park. I recommend checking out this restaurant and I can't wait to go back to try more! They also have karaoke rooms which could be fun too!

Craving some Korean food the other night and Joojoo definitely fulfilled my crave Their seafood pancake was the most delicious I have had in a while! Crispy and filled with a ton of seafood! We also got the Bulgogi Dol Sot and Beef Sundubu, both were amazing! Really love the spicy broth which was rich in flavor and filled with not only beef and tofu but also veges. They also have Korean BBQ and hotpot, as well as shaved ice! We were too full to get the dessert but we tried the shaved ice a while ago. It was huge and yummy!

Delicious food! Great service. I had the bulgogi. It was seasoned so well and made for a great meal. I look forward to coming back again and trying more on the menu. There were many great looking meals being served.

I came in with a couple of friends for late lunch. And I was seated without any wait time. We ordered their kimchi pancake, Tteokboki with cheese and ramen, and the bi bim bap. I got so caught up eating that I forgot to get a picture for the rest of my meal. The tteokboki was delicious; I liked everything about it. Well seasoned with a great kick. Never had kimchi pancake was that was interesting to try. the bi bim bap was great; the beef seasoned and tender, I just wished there was more. The sauce that came with the bi bim bap I wasn't a fan. I wish the sauce for the bi bim bap was a little on the sweeter side, their provided sauce was grainy and tart tasting in my opinion. I had a great time eating and spending time with friends at Joo Joo's. The service was great, the place was clean, and our food was out in a timely manner. I will definitely be going back!

We come here almost every Sunday and I have to say that everything has gotten better and more delicious! The tteokboki with cheese and ramen is my fave as is the dumpling and rice cake soup.

I was disappointed my dolsot bibimbap came with a very small amount of meat! My mom ordered the same thing and hers came with about 3x as much. When I asked the waiter about it, he said he would probably have to charge me to bring more meat. My husband got the seafood soondubu which didn't come with any shrimp and only a few pieces of seafood in it. Other than the small portions of meat, the food flavor and taste was great and cooked well. I do wish they had more variety of banchan - it was just kimchi, fish cakes, and potato salad.

I've been going to JooJoo for over a decade now. They've come a long way, and it's been a fun journey to join them on. I live over 40 mins away so JooJoo was always an occasional (but consistent) treat. However, last year was chaotic for me and I don't think I went even once. There was a period of time when the food here was relatively expensive and relatively disappointing. That is not this period of time. Holy. Kimchiballs. I cannot believe how long I've been away because this was amazing. I ordered the kimchi jjigae on a solo date and was blown away. One of the things I miss most about living in Korea is the incredible food. I have to admit this is the second best kimchi jjigae I have ever had - and I have had a lot over the years in Korea. It was spicy, salty, tangy. That perfect combo of spicy soup and varying ingredients. You usually get kimchi, a few pork pieces, and maybe tofu in your soup. This jjigae had glass noodles, tofu, pork pieces, green onions, kimchi, AND rice cakes. It was ridiculously delicious. Also, if you want to enjoy your jjigae to the fullest, there is a method: pull out chunks of food to cool atop your bowl of rice, then dip a spoonful of rice into the soup broth. Alternate between cooled pieces of pork/tofu/kimchi and hot, tangy broth and rice. So good. All of this food for about $16. They used to hand out a ton of side dishes here, but that isn't the case anymore. However, my server did ask if I wanted refills of anything at the end of the meal, so I think they are still unlimited. Woo! Service was incredibly pleasant, the food was fantastic, and I have no complaints. Plus there is now a bingsoo place next door

Been here twice; first time has a pretty great experience, second one was absolutely HORRID. This was a few months back but my friends and I remember it so vividly because of how much I talked about it. The problem was mainly the appetizers. We arrived and sat at a table of 6 and the servers completely ignored us. We waited for around 25 minutes until they gave us the free APPETIZERS, which then 3 minutes later they gave us our food. The appetizers came so late that we couldn't even finish a single dish. The first time I came here, it was a table of 4, and we managed to get through 2 whole rounds of appetizers before the food. But the 2nd time it came so late we barely got to eat any of it. Additionally, I remember there was a delicious fish tofu appetizer they served us for the first time. But when I asked, the server said "the appetizers depends on what the chef makes today". So basically the appetizers are random with no indication on the menu or website of what they'll be. We noticed that the waiters were also busy setting up another table that was reserved for another group (that arrived 40 minutes later) However, this does not mean that they should have overlooked our group that was already SITTING there and waiting. The food itself was SO overpriced. I was already upset at the appetizer fiasco but when my "beef" bulgogi arrived I was even more disappointed. The "seasoned beef" in the bowl was just a sprinkle of meat on top--not even an entire spoonful. Yes, it tasted amazing, but they should not be charging $16 for "beef bulgogi" when there was not even full bite of beef in the bowl. Overall: appetizers are random with no indication beforehand, service is appalling, and overpriced food with fake advertising. I do not recommend. The taste might be alright, but it is a scam of your money and time. Support other Korean small business and restaurants who actually care about their customers.

I was really happy to find a good Korean restaurant here in St Louis! A review of the food: I tried the jaeyook, samgyupsal, and kimchi pancakes, and I thought the general theme was that while good, the flavors were a little off. The jaeyook was really too sweet, the first few bites of samgyupsal were lacking flavor, and the kimchi pancake wasn't as kimchi-y as I would've liked. But overall, the food was much better than any other Korean place I've tried in this city, and I'm sure I'll come back (maybe to try some other dishes). The service was also great; they double-checked for us if the food had allergens and came around now and then to check on us! Super nice people :)

We ate a late lunch at Joo Joo which was recommended by a worker at Kim's Korean Bakery down the street. This was our first time eating Korean in this area as we live in the Chicagoland area. We were pleasantly surprised at the authentic taste of the seafood pancake, Doen Jung Chi Gae, and dol sot bi bim bap and not some watered down version. All had a lot of flavor and nice sized portions. The side dishes that came with the meal were tasty too. Service was good and the place was clean. We will be back

We absolutely loved this place. We went on a Saturday around 2 o'clock myself, my husband and our four-year-old. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which was amazing considering they had a birthday party of about 30 people, and I'm sure that took a lot of effort to get all those people happy and they all seemed very very happy. We ordered the brisket for the grill and the Bulgolgi dol sot. The brisket was so delicious. It was tender and juicy and flavorful. It was perfection and the rice dish was so amazing. I'm so glad I watched a video where they said not to stir it all together and to leave some rice at the bottom so that it gets nice and crispy the crispy rice at the end was banging. We will definitely be coming back here. It's a little bit of a far drive from our house but it's about three minutes away from a friend so next time we're out visiting them we'll take them with us so that they can enjoy 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend this place. I'd also say the prices are very comparable to any other Korean barbecue places that I have been to keep in mind I have only gone to four or five other places.

Good place to check out if you're craving Korean food in the area! The seafood pancake was super crispy and filled with lots of veggies. The beef soondubu was decently spicy but very comorting- my only complaint is that I wish they had included more beef in it. Meal came with a few banchan on the side. They also do kbbq, which seemed to be a very popular option. Located in a strip with some other food and dessert spots!

As a Korean new to St. Louis seeking good Korean restaurant, found this place to be not it. The food doesn't taste authentic. The soup tasted as if it's been heated one too many times that soup got thick and salty. Service was ok. Towards the end of the meal, I found few strands of hair in my soup and their response was our kitchen staff doesn't have long hair. I made it clear to them that I don't want the meal comped as I ate most of it before finding hair but it would have been nice for them to take some accountability and to commit to improvement. Overall, will not be visiting again.

Inflation or increased costs must have hit JooJoo extra hard. We ordered 2x Galbi Tangs and a rice dish and the portions were just abysmal. Absolutely unacceptable. I have attached a photo to what we got; 3 tiny pieces of short rib in each soup for $15.99. What a waste of money
