Google
Jordan Supermarket at 24771 Alicia Pkwy #A, Laguna Hills, CA 92653 is hands down one of the best places to shop, and it truly deserves five stars! Let me break down my experience, from A to Z. Starting with the butcher section—the meat, seafood, and chicken are always incredibly fresh, and the prices are fair. They offer a variety of marinated kebabs, and they’ll even clean the fish for you. The quality and freshness here are unmatched. The customer service is fantastic! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to introduce you to new products or help you find exactly what you’re looking for. You can find an amazing selection of international groceries from countries like Arabic, Iranian, Russian, German, and more, making it a great spot for hard-to-find items. In terms of dairy products, they have a great variety—yogurt, cheese, butter, you name it! Their fruits and vegetables are always fresh, well-priced, and beautifully displayed. You can tell they prioritize quality in every section of the store. The cashiers are incredibly welcoming and helpful, making checkout a breeze. Prices throughout the store are very reasonable, and it’s conveniently located in a plaza with parking—there’s always a spot available. The supermarket is also spotlessly clean, with no unpleasant odors. Overall, Jordan Supermarket is a gem with amazing management and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for fresh meats, international products, or just a great shopping experience, this place has it all. Highly recommended!

Google
Great little market. Compact and busy. They have great prices. Lots of vegetables and a meat counter. Meats look very fresh. They have Boars Head deli meats. Lots of fresh olives, great selection. Be aware the place is apparently expanding so there is construction outside. I believe about to triple it size. That’s great news right now the store is small and compact and the isles are tight. The the prices make it worth it.

Google
Great place to bring the family. The produce is always fresh and clean. They have many organic options as well as cultural delicatessens for those who crave the comforts of their home country. Been coming here for a year now and I recommend this place over sprouts Whole Foods and all the other clowns out there.

Google
used to regularly buy meat from this store, but recently the quality has become very disappointing. The last purchases I made were spoiled — the meat had a bad smell and tasted off. I tried to return it once and was refused. I decided to give the store another chance, bought meat again, and had the same problem. When I tried to return it again, they refused once more. Unfortunately, I can no longer trust this store. I will not be shopping here again and I do not recommend it to anyone. I don't recommend buying anything here unless you want to have health problems from spoiled products.

Google
This market has everything you need, but the real standout is the meat department. The selection is always fresh, high-quality, and well-priced. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, always ready to offer great recommendations. It’s my go-to place for groceries, especially when I want the best cuts of meat.

Google
I have found some items from Poland and Russia here. Very wonderful special cookies. Awesome selection of dried fruit leather. Spices as well. Check it out.

Dzmitry M.

Google
Perfect food store with a great amount of European and Russian style food an cuisine. Highly recommend! The staff is very polite and courteous

Google
The shop's offer is nice, plenty of eastern European food, BUT they're not storing them properly. I've bought one of the frozen Pierogi's and the dough literally dissolved on contact with water. This means only one thing: they were improperly stored at the store. If you don't believe it just go and check. Especially the ones with fruits are all cracked already. Will never go there again!

Yelp
When one needs: falafel, kebabs, shawarma, fresh herbs. olive oil, sesame seeds, hummus, dates, sumac, chickpeas, and baklava, and wants to be thrifty, then this is the place to be. This multicultural market has so many Middle Eastern, central European foods etc. Service is consistently with a smile. The mood and vibe of the store, is always positive and culturally enlightening !

Yelp
I usually make a stop here on my way home if I need to pick up a few items quickly. It's kind of Hit or Miss at this store. Some days I have more luck than others and got some very fresh fruits and veggies for a really good price. But not always the case though. A few weeks ago, I stopped by and got some very good avocados and persimmons at a lower price. Came back the following week, the avocados were all black and the persimmons were not sweet at all when I got home. But I understand. It's tough to own a small supermarket like that. So much competition in that business and new grocery stores are sprouting everywhere. It's used to be very good years ago and everything was much cheaper. There's a lady cashier (very short hair) that's been there forever. She's always so nice. I always go to her register if I see her. I recently chatted up with her when I checked out and she told me she's been there for 30 years. Speaking of loyalty!

Yelp
This location has a good selection of products. It's very clean and organized. My issue was with customer service. They have a weekly ad price on eggplants and they don't honor what's in the weekly ad. There is a gentleman who might be the manager there who is very rude. He would not honor the price of eggplants on his website and when I asked him about a different product I was looking for, he was annoyed and rude with me. We decided not to buy anything there , they have lost customers. I'm Jordanian. I was excited to go here. Going into a Jordanian market and not finding anyone Jordanian was interesting and disappointing. Please do better with your customer service.

Yelp
Great middle eastern spot. It's like being thrown back into a bazaar. Great deli meats. Feta from Bulgaria. Dried figs. Fruits. Jams. Teas. Arabic coffee. Amazing

Jörn-Alexander H.

Yelp
Best Food from Europe, East Europe and Middle East. Fresh Vegetables, Milk Products, Fish & Meat and variables of Bread.

Yelp
I frequent this store quite often. Today I went to buy chicken breast. They were on sale, so I asked for 1 breast and then asked if they would cut it half. I was told I had to pay full price if I wanted them to cut it straight down the middle. I try to support the small businesses, in this case I will not be back. There is not enough in the store to keep me returning. lost customer for life. Super glad the can afford that.

Yelp
Was in Jordan market today and the manager/owner noticed some items in my cart. We started a conversation about cooking and food and he ended up giving me free yogurt and spices to make the dill yogurt dip. Was so kind and thoughtful. I always shop at Jordan market for all of my fruit, vegetables and meat. The prices you cannot beet! Much cheaper than the grocery stores. Highly recommend grocery shopping at Jordan Market!

Yelp
I bought a watermelon & a pomegranate last week from Jordan Market, and they were both rotten.

Yelp
I been going to this store location for the past 15 years or more . Love the quality of their produce selection, helpfulness to their long time customers, great prices and "your friendly neighborhood vibes " you get every time you shop there. My thanks as always to Ali, Morteza, Nooshin, Aria and all the other wonderful staff members. Arezoo Reza

Yelp
Keep an eye on your fruits And other produce items This is very disappointed and dissatisfied especially when I was trying to enjoy my donut peach

Yelp
Fabulous Eastern European and middle eastern foods! Some prepared foods, delicacies, and more. Great selection, reasonable prices, real imports! Service was wonderful. Friendly, helpful! Ambiance is typical ethnic grocery store, filled with delighted customers excited to see foods from childhood that are hard to find. We went wild, and only spent $48. A WINNER!
google avatar

Gloria G.

Yelp
I buy chicken hearts & gizzards in their meat department, they are always courteous & fast and the meat is always very fresh/frozen and one of the best prices, besides being very clean!
google avatar

Alison H.

Yelp
I shop here at least once a week! The staff is so friendly (always the same workers), they have a great produce department and it's reasonably priced - not like most places today. Their deli is excellent with a range of great quilts meats. Once of the only places around that sells ground lamb as well!

Sandy K.

Yelp
They always have what I need to cook a Lebanese dinner. Services are always very nice and helpful.

Ani W.

Yelp
this is a small grocery store . has everything u need . good prices on vegetables fruit and deli meats , or meats has a great selection of international foods . found my childhood foo here from my country . can't belive it . i'm a ethnic food person . i love diferent foods but healthy . i recommend this place . price $$.

Ken W.

Yelp
Lots of Middle Eastern and Eastern European foods. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and not overpriced. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the cashiers seem to hate being there.

Maryam B.

Yelp
Jordan Market is my favorite grocery store. They have fresh produce with reasonable price. The store is very clean and convenient since it's so close to freeway exit. The most important thing is the staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a great grocery shopping experience.

Nena D.

Yelp
I'm such an idiot for thinking they are ever going to improve!! Emergency run for a few things. Avocado 1 day old, ready on the outside but yukky in the inside

E M.

Yelp
I bought a few things and left. I was actually grossed out, found the place dirty and over priced. Will not go back.

M A.

Yelp
Every one so friendly and produce are fresh and good quality thank you Mr Ali to make personalize service I will be back soon. Thank you

Yelp
Stay away of the store if you don't want to get food poisoning. Quality of their preserved fish and marinated meat is terrible. Two times I bought expired fish , I brought it back to the store and asked them to pay attention to the quality of their products, they responded that they going to fix it . Ok , matter of the past . This week I bought marinated meat for barbecue. We had a family dinner and all four members got food poisoning with all consequences... That's enough. Whey are overpriced and lack of quality control. Im going to file a complaint to consumer affairs department and BBB . Stay away of this place if you care of your health and your love ones

Kevin H.

Yelp
It's a small market and they can't always be perfect. One thing I like about Jordan is that they stand behind their food. I bought some chicken we didn't like and they took it right back without any hassle. Other local stores don't do that.

Yelp
Living local Jordan Market has been and will be blessing to everyone. The convenience & friendly staff with mostly too 5 of best fruits in the county. Highly Appreciate management & all the staff for all their hard work to bring their best to our hood. Also I have a humble suggestion for the ownership to provide high seats with rollers for the cashiers, will highly effect in outcome. Also Thank you Miss Atousa for always going out of your way to take care of all the customers.

Yelp
Veggies are fresh and good with prices plus you can find yummy chicken liver pate too
google avatar

Toufan M.

Yelp
They have what you need at a close distance to your home. Convenient and clean, respectful staff and reasonable prices!

Garth J.

Yelp
They discriminate against caucasian, non- Arabic people. I'm white and get treated poorly compared Arabic customers. I shop here a lot because it's close and I like the interesting foods. I say hello and am always friendly. But they are rude to me especially the ladies at the register. Nice to all the Arabic customers, rude to me. I tried to ignore it, but have now witnessed this rude treatment towards other non- Arabic customers. That's racism, discrimination right?

Sarah M.

Yelp
Will never be coming back, beware of butcher scamming you with old meat. He mixed my 2 pound ground lamb meat with older meat he had the color contrast is disgusting and insulting. Did you really think I was that dumb wow! You've lost a customer for good. I usually never buy meat from here but I thought I would give it a chance and never again. Most products are over priced anyway

Yelp
I was at a restaurant in the same shopping center and noticed this store and decided to check it out. I was excited to see that they had Polish soup mixes and Asian noodles next to saurkraut in their refrigerated section and took pictures of them to share with friends later. A man working at the store approached us and asked me why I was taking pictures. I explained and he asked me to stop taking pictures. He even asked me who these friends of mine are as if he disbelieved my story. I respect that he does not want pictures taken inside his store (there is apparently a no-photos sign outside the store that I missed on the way in). We continued to make our way through the store and took no other pictures. I was trying to read the label on one of the caper bottles when he came back and accused us if scanning the barcode on the bottle with our cell phone. We weren't. (My bf was listening to a podcast and reading a news story on his phone while patiently waiting for me to browse.). I was already uncomfortable after the first encounter and the second one reinforced my feelings that we were unwelcome in Jordan Market. We left after I put everything in my basket back on the shelves. I like to support small businesses, but this one didn't want or need mine. Avoid.

Yelp
Luddite shop owner/manager. We ate lunch at Stephano's and my girlfriend wanted to check out the local market. She likes supporting family-owned businesses and markets, and just likes finding all of the cool products that you don't find in normal grocery stores. She found some Polish products and took a picture, because she liked the variety and wanted to show a friend. The manager saw and asked us not to take photos. Fair enough - we didn't see the sign. (Typically, I ask first, but I wasn't really paying attention to what she was doing.) He also looked at my phone, and I showed him that I was looking for Pokemon. I also had earbuds in and was listening to a podcast - basically I was just hanging around while she was leisurely browsing the store. Later on, she called me over to ask if I could decipher one of the labels. She wanted to know what was in the capers - and the label was in multiple languages. I was able to read the French (and later found English on the label). The manager/owner confronted us again and demanded to know what we were taking photos of. We explained that we weren't even taking pictures, and that we were trying to figure out what the ingredients of the capers were. When he looked at my phone, he saw that I was actually on Reddit - no camera, no pictures. He muttered a bit, and said that we could take as long as we like. At this point, my girlfriend was pretty upset at how she was being treated. She didn't like his accusatory tone, and didn't feel like we were welcome in the store. I think we were the kind of customers that markets would like, since we have disposable income and like supporting local merchants. But the interaction kinda put me off going to the store again. We ended up putting back the groceries we were going to purchase and left. I'm still someone mystified why there was the hostile attitude towards smartphones - finding nifty grocery items and posting pictures of them on Yelp would help their business, not hurt it. I don't know why there are Polish goods at the store (I assumed that it would be Middle Eastern fare because of the name), but we did see a selection of pierogi that looked pretty good. Just don't let them catch you with your phone out. :(

Yelp
I love this place, its close to my home but i am now very disappointed in their selection of Feta cheese; you used to be able to buy a large Kolios brand for $16; i believe 2.5 lbs. Now, you cant even buy the stuff from there. I then purchased the organic stuff for $10 or $11 for about a pound or 5 pieces of feta. NOW, for $10 you get 2 pieces of feta with smaller packaging. I am just really disappointed and this is not supply chain issues; i now am ordering online to get my feta. Too bad guys

John E.

Yelp
Customer service is the worst. Plus there is lots of items or the expired in this store so I totally recommend don't waste your money there. everything was overpriced. We have spent $300 for our regular shopping.
google avatar

Yelp
A friend turned me on to this little market, tucked in the back of a strip mall off of Alicia Parkway. For its size it was well stocked with fresh produce, specialty packaged and canned goods, primarily from the Middle East (but not exclusively); as well as a meat counter and awesome baked goods from breads to pastries. I even found a local brand of pickles that I had been looking for (which I found out about watching an old Hewell Houser show). Worth a visit if you are in South Orange County.

Yelp
Great service great food best quality products Fresh veggies and fresh fruits employees are so friendly and kind always willing to help every customer needs if your looking for a grocery store to shop don't hesitate to stop by this place

Yelp
I just want to say Ali is the man. By far the best super market I have ever been too! Highly recommend this place for everyday groceries shopping.

Jeff M.

Yelp
Just walked in to get water bottles from the front of the store and apparently me being brown and sweaty, I suddenly get questioned on whether I came from the back of the store... Lady called Marilu just smirks and I leave to drink the water bottles with my dad, and again the security just comes to make a patrol around us. I had the money on my right hand, what was I going to steal? Anyways, manager doesn't care about this either as once we told him about it he just hangs up on ME. Please do not support this place as they don't care whether they racially profile someone. If your Mexican and want to be treated like shit then go HERE!!

Maryam J.

Yelp
I was at Jordan Market few days ago, there was a gentleman, who was super nice and helpful. I think his name was Aryan ( hope I spell it correctly). He was the only person in that market, who tried so hard to help me find something that I couldn't find on the shelves. I thought I should mention his name since he deserves it!
google avatar

Neda O.

Yelp
It's a small ethnic super market. It has the basics of what you would need while grocery shopping. Fruit and vegetables look fresh. They forget to price label a lot of the fruit though. Overall. I really like dough and it's closer than wholesome choice so I'll come here for my dough (yogurt drink) fix.
google avatar

Brooke T.

Yelp
Great butchery! They have the best marinated meat and poultry. Great customer service.
google avatar

Anita L.

Yelp
UPDATED: 11-19-2007: They've updated their produce section with a nicer look and a new cold section. The entire store looks much neater and even cleaner than before! Stuff is still the same low price. ------------------------------------------------------- If there was a market I could compare Jordan Market to, I'd say it is similar to Irvine Super off Culver except this place is FAR cleaner. The selection of produce is good and reasonably priced, although it's not as extensive as Irvine Super. The seafood and meat sections are also good. Of course this place doesn't have an on-premise bakery like Irvine Super, but they sell the usual Persian style breads on their shelves. The refrigerated sections have most of the stuff you'd find at Wholesome Foods and Irvine Super, however, how convenient to have something located in Laguna Hills if you live in the area. Ample parking too when compared to the others! Prices are so reasonable you would be amazed at how much stuff you got for so little money.

Leah C.

Yelp
Love Jordan market. They always have fresh produce and authentic food I can't find anywhere but Jordan's.

Mr B.

Yelp
Lots of great options stuffed in the tiny market. They have something for everyone. I found so many hard to find foods here that I've been craving from Europe and Middle East.
google avatar

Nijole T.

Yelp
I absolutely love this grocery store! Tired of cooking the same food we always try different ethnic supermarkets for new things. Service is great here, they are very helpful and even order items for you that they might not have in stock at the time. Huge selection of hard to find meats, fresh fruit and veggies and my favorite part, the hot food counter. The potato pockets filled with cabbage are everything, the fried fish and meats are my second favorite but you can't go wrong g with any of it. Prices are great and we always get the sausage at the fresh meat counter. Great grocery store in the area.
google avatar

Jordie V.

Yelp
They have fresh produce and good prices!! My go too when I want to go in a juice fast!

Maddie S.

Yelp
I've been going to Jordan Market for as long as I can remember. It's sad to see these reviews of people saying the owners and workers are unkind because I have never had an awkward or uncomfortable or unkind instance with anyone that works there. This place has the best prices and always the freshest produce! I refuse to go anywhere else for my fruits and veggies! I also like buying from the meat section as they have a solid selection.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Didnt realize this place was here until trying Lulus across the way. This place is a great little ethnic grocery store. They have a wide selection of things from europe and the middle east that you cant find in most traditional grocery stores. In the past we would drive to HB to go to Jons but this gem has saved us some time when we need our fix of things. They have all kinds of sausages, hummus, Pickles, hungarian fetas, saurkraut juice, romanian bacons etc. Must check it out!
google avatar

Mira Y.

Yelp
First Time Here. I wanted to check this place out but was quickly disappointed by the quality of produce, lack of fresh bakery goods (sangak/pita)...it was all stale and old. I usually go to Mission Ranch Market on Los Alisos and you can't beat the quality of produce there in addition to the fresh baked goods on-site. I left as quickly as I ventured in.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
I love coming here, fresh produce with low prices!! Spices you can't find in a regular grocery and the meat is sold for a very reasonable price also.
google avatar

D. A.

Yelp
Small place with great staff makes me feel like I am back in Europe. They always go out of their way to help.

Yelp
This is my first negative review of a business. My experience with Jordan Market has been very hit or miss. I love that I can get Eastern European products but I never know if it will be a winner or a dud. I purchased a $15 jar of marinated veggies, got home, was very excited to open it and unfortunately it was not sealed. Brought it back to the store and the manager acted like he was doing me a favor for exchanging it for a properly sealed jar after selling me a defective product. Extremely rude! Definitely not the way to conduct business. Will not be shopping there again. Buyer beware!
