We had a picnic at Jordan Estate in Stellenbosch and absolutely loved it. The food was excellent, fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. The wines were outstanding and perfectly matched the setting, with a great range to enjoy at a relaxed pace. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and peaceful, surrounded by nature and vineyards, far from any noise or rush. It was so relaxing that we even took a short nap on the grass, which says everything about the place. A perfect spot to slow down, enjoy great wine and food, and truly disconnect. Highly recommended for a laid-back, high-quality picnic experience.

The location is just incredibly beautiful. A piece of paradise. We really enjoyed our stay at Jordan Winery Estate. Everything was perfect, the rooms very confortable, the restaurant very good with an amazing view, and the staff is so kind, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend the picnic as well, which was the highlight of our stay. We will definitely come back!

We enjoyed the most incredible Christmas lunch at Jordan Wine Estate’s Cellar Door today. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming, relaxed, and absolutely beautiful — the perfect setting for a festive meal. Their Chenin Blanc was exceptional and paired perfectly with each course. Our waiter, Wellington, deserves special mention. He was wonderfully friendly, entertaining, and clearly very well trained — he made the entire experience even more memorable. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Every course was plated beautifully and tasted even better than it looked. Truly world-class. Well done to the entire team at Jordan Wine Estate for creating such a special Christmas experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful scenic landscape, good and delicious food, friendly service, staff goes the extra mile. The picnic experience is a must, the basket is filled with delicious breads, cheeses and the condoments are all home made and grown on the farm. Highly recommend.

Had an incredible lunch and wine tasting at The Cellar Door yesterday — a truly memorable experience from start to finish. The views alone are worth the visit: sweeping vineyard and mountain scenery that perfectly complement the calm, elegant atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious — beautifully prepared and full of flavour, the kind of meal that makes you slow down and savour every bite. And of course, the wines were outstanding, as you’d expect from Jordan Wine Estate — expressive, balanced, and full of character. A special shout-out to Rebecca, who has hosted both of my recent tastings here. She’s exceptional — warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the wines she pours. On her recommendation, I even gave the Riesling another try (a varietal I’d sworn off for good) — and I’m glad I did! Credit to both Rebecca and the winemaker, because this was the first Riesling I’ve ever found truly drinkable. All in all, a solid 5-star experience. Beautiful setting, impeccable food and wine, and hospitality that makes you feel genuinely welcome. Jordan remains one of the best wine estates in Stellenbosch for a reason.
