It was obvious that my precooked food had been sitting out because, as you can see in the picture, it had these hardened edges. Had I not been "starving " from being at work all day without a lunch, I would have sent it back. I hate sending food back & I hate to be wasteful & worry when I do have to send food back. I was not impressed at all with my food in any way. I am thankful my glass of tea was kept full, to help me swallow the bad Barbacoa. I was very disappointed with the authenticity of the food. With all the other options near by, I would think they would try harder. I also noticed on the OVER PRICED menu that a basic bean & cheese Chalupa was $10 for 1!!! That's ridiculous. The portions were definitely lacking, unless you are a small child. My plate was $18, which isn't bad....if the food is good and/or the portions enough. DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST

Stopped here with a work colleague on a weeknight. My friend is a vegetarian and found a good meal. I had a couple of red enchiladas, rice and beans. We also had the leches cake, which was very good. The chips and salsa are fine. Overall a good Mexican restaurant. Recommended.

Got the fajita and chicken skillet. Came out smoking hot with a nice presentation. Food was good. Price is a bit high for Mexican food. Service was normal. Lighting was very dim, atmosphere was ehh. Overall it was ok.

What does a person have to do to get something they actually ordered?? Stopped in to pick up two beef fajita taco plates… I ordered beef fajita taco plates and I received beef fajita crunchy taco plates. Didn’t realize it till I got back to work, that my order was not right. So, I call them to let them know about the confusion…. And, they tell me that there is nothing that they can do about it. Everyone makes mistakes, but to not acknowledge or to try and correct your mistake is simply crazy. Absolutely lost for words right now…… and this place isn’t cheap either. WOW

They had told us there was about a 30 minute wait but after our party got there they seated us quickly. Food got to us quickly and was delicious, our waitress never let our drink run dry. Prices are decent. You need to have all of your party there before they seat you due to the amount of customers they have. Waitress was always nice, will definitely come back.

Terrible service from the person at the entrance. She answers in a very rude and curt manner and greets only out of courtesy. When we arrived, she immediately turned us away. It was almost closing time, and she said in a rather annoyed and angry tone, "Good evening, you can leave. We're closing soon, and you can't be here."

Really disappointed that the Chile Relleno was only a HALF of the pepper. They tried to disguise the pepper by laying 1/2 of it over the shredded chicken. LOL! What a joke! As cheap as peppers are you would think you would get the whole pepper, which btw, any place else would have given you the whole pepper. If your gunna skimp don't skimp on the pepper, that's the best part of the entree. The service was great & I loved their salsa. Being cheesy on the pepper was a poor choice on management, up your prices so your customers can savor the taste of the chile. DANG!!

I have been coming here for years and I have never been disappointed! Food is always hot and fresh and service has always been great.

In my opinion, best restaurant in Odessa! Service is always good. They have the best margaritas and salsa. Everything is good here but my favorite is the El Laredo, roast beef flautas with roast beef sauce.

Never going back...not what it once was. Seated next to screaming kids with parents that found it amusing. Time before got a rock mixed with the beans. No apology. No wonder they are only open a few hours a day. Adios forever!

Idk what business owner in their right mind would close a restaurant at 8 on Friday but they obviously either aren't wise or way to rich. Not happy at all and won't ever do business here.

Food is always hot, tastes good and I love their naked chili relleno. Good place to go eat.

The barbacoa was like shoe leather! I wanted to send it back but they were just too busy. Our waitress was wonderful. I won't be going back.

Great local Mexican food. The food came out so fast and was delicious! I got chicken fajitas and the queso.

Avoid this place like the plague if you like mods on your food. I went in today with my father to eat. I ordered the combo nachos. So I expected only beans and ground beef on my nachos. Well it came with jalapenos and onions which were not mentioned on the menu with it. When I explain I am allergic to onions that I would just like cheese nachos instead. They said and I quote "There is nothing wrong with the nachos we are still gonna charge you for them." Like who does that. If there is something wrong with the food you fix it. But not at this place. They charge for the mistake and did not even try to reslove the issue. Then they say tell me I am being disrespectful for not eating their food? To hell with this place. I will never eat here again and I advise everyone to avoid this place if you value your money. They charged us 40 bucks for food we never ate. If you want real Mexican food go to Garley's where the food is better the prices are cheaper and you actually get good service. Jorges is the worst place in town to go eat.

Forgot just how great this place is. Hadn't been to Jorge's in a few years but I'm glad I came back for a visit! Seated as soon as we walked in, received exceptional and friendly service from Krisandra along with great recommendations. My friend ordered the carne guisada and I had the chile verde plate. Both options were amazing, the salsa had a great spice and it was delicious so I could not stop eating it. Margaritas taste the same as just about any other Mexican restaurant but do the job. I'll be visiting this restaurant again soon.

Great Mexican food and drinks. Excellently made chile rellenos. Service is good. Like the environment. Good rice and beans. Chips and salsa!

Every single time we have been there, we have not been disappointed. I love their nachos and their quesadillas are very good, as well as their chips and salsa. The wait staff is very attentive and at the top of their game.

This place was definitely good. I ended up ordering their Loco platter which included a chile relleno, beef fajita, ground beef taco, and cheese enchilada with rice and beans for $14. A ton of food and not badly priced. The beef fajita was probably the best. If I ever came back, I'd probably just get the fajitas to be honest. The service was great. Super quick and attentive. The I ended up drinking a Michelada with Dos Equis and it was made well. I would definitely recommend this place versus some others in the area for sure!

The best Mexican food in odessa if you ask me! The loco is my always go to plate! Service is always pretty much spot on.

Great place to eat. Get in and out quick. Good food,good service,good price. I always order green sauce when they bring chips and house salsa. The green sauce is good and spicy. Usually order 2 crispy tacos and 2 red cheese enchiladas with a fried egg on top. Good stuff! Tacos are always good with fresh fried tortilla shells. Good place to eat.

Used to be my number 1 stop in Odessa. An absolute favorite of mine for most of my life. Now they're never open. Why? I have literally given up on trying to eat there.

Just ate here 10-8-23 my advice is skip the beef fajitas and order the chicken as the beef was very thin I guess skirt steak as some was just tough - best advice i can give is go to Los Corporales for the BEST BEEF - CHICKEN fajitas in all Odessa as the plate they give is BIG and delicious as they haven't lowered themselves serving a cheaper meat to make a bigger profit

Love this place. Been going there for about 25 years. They were in a different location when I was younger. Love that the 42nd location has had the same management, bartender and waiter for years. That says something. The food is amazing as always and Kevin makes the best drinks.

Was recommended by a friend that lives in Midland. The food was decent. I ordered the Loco combo dish. I think the price for the platters are a little on the high end, however the waiter was very friendly and prompt. The only downfall is I didn't know restaurants still have smokers. It was very hard to eat with the smoke smell even though we sat on the non smoking side.

Jorge's has been one of my all time favorite Mexican food restaurants since I was a kid, and is one of my first stops whenever I'm in town visiting family. Every time I come back it tastes like nostalgia, and it's delicious. The restaurant ambience is authentic Tex Mex, and has the feel of a place that used to allow smoking at the bar, because they did. They have a few small TVs at the bar and other sitting areas, but wouldn't be my first choice to strictly watch a game. The salsa is fresh, has a slight kick that builds, and is made to be consumed in mass quantities. Salsa is paired chips with a good fry without being oily, and friendly sprinkle of salt. The Número Uno lunch special is my go to at all times of the day. 2 combination burritos smothered in light and creamy queso with side of beans and rice may very well be in top contention for my last meal request. While you're there, you should also imbibe an authentic Tex Mex margarita, especially since the large comes in fishbowl sized glasses. I implore all gustatory warriors to journey to this West Texas gem.

Order the Pescado a la Parilla (grilled fish). A+++ Give it a try ! You won't find this on the menu, but trust.... they serve it !

The food is very good, I've been eating at this restaurant for years at the midland locations. Sad they are no longer there. The food is delicious. The chicken fajita burrito and quesadillas are the best I've found in Odessa.

As expected, Noel greeted us with chips, salsa, we ordered drinks and a small queso and got in 1-minute. Drinks in a couple minutes. We ordered Beef Fujita's, Lengue Plate cabasa tacos, chicken and bean burrito. We got in 12-minutes, the Best, as expected carne Asada, Lengua, cabasa..amazing. The kicker is the soppapilla.......not a fried thick flour tortilla, fresh dough deep fried and dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with honey...and of course butter. Such a waste to go anywhere else, but here. You can sit in a smoking area too. I'd attached some pics, but we ate the food too fast...

Day off in Odessa and wow, what an oasis!!! The pride flag at the bar was a great start. The Legendary Margaritas gave way to jovial conversation and now we're all drunk and full!!!!! Chris is especially excited that the tables do not wobble. Quote of the day: "That's a hot chile relleno!!!!" - Chris

I like the customer service here. Have been here twice. Food comes with very big portions at a good price. Atmosphere is a bit different. You got the smokers' side and then the nonsmoking section. The style of the restaurant is just like really any family owned joint. Good place to check out for casual dining.

Great food!! The chicken tacos are amazing! The only thing I don't like is that they have smoking in this restaurant and even though you sit in non smoking section you can still smell it, so other than that it's a tasty place to go.

Hidden gem!! Coldest beer in this town. Their spicy green salsa is to die for. Great Chile rellenos, really good flautas & tacos. My husband loves the enchiladas!

Went to lunch here the other day and both of us picked the Lunch Combo #2 which was the Quesadilla, mine was the combo and the other was chicken. It was a LOT of food for lunch and I could only have about half as I wanted to be semi functional for the rest of the work day. You get a bowl of guac and sour cream along with the meal. It was very good! The service was good as well. Total for two came to $25 including tip. The waitress was very prompt to refill our sweet teas as well. Bottom line: Do eeeeet!

Went in for tortilla soup. The chips were cooked in bad oil and the salsa was very watery. Not sure why it was light color and had bubbles. Initial Hostess was rude., soup was ok at best. I did like the avocados. Soup was like warm. Will NOT go back. Wrong choice.

Good food but small portions and a little pricey. Ordered the enchilada plate and all three enchiladas could fit in my palm. I just expected a little more for the price. Would probably eat here again.

On 12/13/18 the family all went to grab a bite to eat at Jorge's in Odessa. They always tell us that we can't be seated until our entire party is there and that's fine because we just accept that and it really isn't an issue for us. I showed up and a few of our party was already seated which we all thought that was strange. The server came to the table and said "If this happens again you will NOT be allowed to be seated" we told him that the hostess seated them and he just kept repeated it. A member in our group asked him what the deal was in a normal tone and he said "Do not raise you voice" the same member said I never raised my voice. We all got our drinks and by that time we didn't want to even eat or drink. The manager came out and said "What would you like to do fire him!" We said no just wanted you to know that this wasn't our fault. After the manager came by we just said we will pay for our drinks and leave. He said " I'm sorry you feel that way". We have NEVER been treated like that here but after that we decided we wouldn't ever go back!

Fastest service in town, and has the most consistent food, never had a bad meal here and I've eaten here at least 100 times! Love the salsa

My family has been coming here for years. The food is always great. My mom loves the appetizer flautitas as her meal, my grandma gets the Caldo de Cameron y Pescado (seriously fantastic), and I like the chicken fajita taco plate (get them crispy - flat grilled corn tortillas). My husband loves the beef fajitas. This place is an institution. We've become friends with Noel, a server here. He is like family now and we will wait extra to sit with him. He is on the ball, and super sweet. I LOVE this place. I always leave feeling very satisfied and with a smile on my face. By far, my favorite restaurant in Odessa.

I have always loved Jorge's, but have never frequented the place that often because while they have amazing chips and queso and I love the quesadillas, I just had never found anything so mouthwatering that I HAD to go here until this past weekend... Have you ever had tacos from this place? My god, run along now, go to Jorge's and eat tacos. The enchiladas taste like the sauce came out of a can so don't bother, just do tacos and queso, you won't be disappointed.

I had the caldo de rest here, it was very delicious! The pricing is fair. The customer service was ok, the staff could be a little more inviting!

Portions were kind of tiny but all of our food and desserts were EXCELLENT. Will be going back for sure.

Had lunch with friends based on a local recommendation and was very happily surprised. The service was snappy. The sweet tea was well balanced. The lunch special was tasty and a very satisfying portion. I'll be back!

If your hungry and in a rush to feed your family and want to order to go don't bother calling them, for some odd ridiculous reason they won't let you place a order to go unless you have a card or physically in their presence. Yea sounds ridiculous doesn't it smh

Came here and they have the WORST service. Sad thing is their food is pretty delicious but the host and servers make it to where you don't even want to come back. I ordered the menudo and chicken flautas plate like I said food was GREAT but man they need to work on their customer service. Oh and they have a thing about not answering their phone. I sure did love waiting an hr before I got ahold of someone to place an order for takeout.

I went Sunday at 2:30 PM 12-28-14, the food was good the service was very good, the hostess a young man was indeferent, not well versed, and after my wife went in and said 3, he mumbled, as I held the door open for my father a man came in a head of my father, we set down an waited for the hostess as he set the man down 1st, we waiting then a party of 3 came in 5 minutes later and he came back and set them down 1st, not before I mentioned that we were waiting to be seated, he came back after a few minutes and finale set us at a table that was open since we walked in. I thank the waiter for good service and looked for the hostess, he was at a table talking with a girl as before. I wanted to ask him, instead of the waiter or anyone else why he took his time on seating us. I called the restuarant and the phone was not answered. I miss spell check.

The food is good and wait staff is prompt and will not keep you waiting for your meal or refill.

Extremely over - priced and the service is iffy. I had the enchiladas and they tasted like tv dinners. The hot sauce tasted old. The chips were the best part.

Terrible, came in today knowing the close at four (arriving at 3:25ish) lady at the front desk said they close in 15. Left immediately after that was said. The fact that you have to state you guys close proves you don't want customers. Keep the open sign off. Taco Bell has better service. Move on.
